Their cannoli is so delicious. The cream is so fresh and the shell is just the right texture. The pistachio cake is divine. Melts in your mouth perfection. The pastries are super good, but they are rather pricey for the size. That's new york for ya.

Must visit here when you come to Little Italy! Welcoming and informative staff with quick and attentive service. The owner was really sweet, too! I love their selection of different desserts, coffee, tea and alcoholic beverages. The Cannoli was traditional and I love that it wasn't too sweet (ate it before I could take a pic). It was my first time trying the pistachio ricotta cake and it was nice and light and flavorful. The cappuccino was super foamy just the way I like. Can't wait to come back and try more things!

Made it a point to visit while in NYC and it did not disappoint! So many wonderful desserts in the case with an option to eat in or take away. Had a couple of cokes and the mini pastry plate. The cannolis were lovely and the best I've ever had.

Decided to grab a drink and try one of their famous cannoli's.. Some produce, I was told, was from Italy, but I had doubt in my mind. I ordered a latte, it was the first time in all my life that it came with a spoon in it! The staff were friendly and polite but with a slight attitude maybe it was just me. Seating inside as well as outside. It was expensive for what we ordered, in my opinion.

If you ever get to Manhattan- make it your life’s mission to get down to Cannoli King”s Caffe Palermo in Little Italy! Best pizza, pasta, sangria and desserts - from beginning to end was such an experience! I will never forget this place and hope to visit again someday! Cheers, from Denver!

We stopped by and ate at caffe Palermo for lunch today and it was amazing! We had a chicken parm hero and a meatball hero both were incredible! Daniel was our server and we can't say enough good things about him! Would definitely recommend!

Really enjoyed this cute little cafe. They had a ton of options. We tried several cannoli flavors and all were great. Espresso and latte were also very good. Recommend both! Would absolutely come back and try more options! Definitely worth the stop if you’re looking for a sweet treat in little Italy!

1) Table Service - you seat yourself and place order with server. You can't order from counter and sit down. 2) Counter service - don't dare sit down that is to go only. I usually do table service unless it's super slammed or I want a sweet treat to go. Cannolis are amazing- few flavors mini and reg sizes. My newer faves recently are the Amaretto Tiriamisu and Cheesecake comes (small and large too). Always a delight coming here, friendly staff. Yummy dessert cocktails, coffee/espresso drinks aa well.

During a recent surprise food tour I planned for my fiancé, which started in Chinatown and ended in Little Italy, we had the pleasure of stopping at Caffe Palermo. This food tour featured seven different restaurants, and Caffe Palermo was one of the locations we tried in Little Italy. At Caffe Palermo, we got to try some miniature cannolis. Normally, I'm not someone who orders cannolis, as they're not my go to dessert. However, these cannolis were surprisingly delicious and changed my usual perception. My fiancé also had her first ever cannoli here and truly enjoyed it. While I'm not sure if I would go out of my way just to return for the cannolis, I would definitely come back to Caffe Palermo to try their other desserts. The experience was nice, and it's a spot worth visiting if you're in Little Italy and craving something sweet.

Had a fantastic experience at Caffe Palermo this weekend. Coming from an Italian family, I was excited to come and try the cannoli. They did not disappoint me. I tried a large regular and a small hazelnut. My husband and I both loved the creamy smoothness of the filling. Neither were overpowering with sweetness. They were perfectly flavored and the shells had the best crunch. My iced latte was also delicious. This was the best coffee I had while visiting NYC this weekend. The service was extremely quick and all of the workers were kind. We had great suggestions on things to try on our next visit. The establishment was kept clean and had a good ambiance. 5 stars for the staff and pastries! I got a lobster tail and it was one of the best ones I've had! For those who aren't familiar with the pastry: a lobster tail is a crunchy flakey pastry filled with cream. The cream isn't too sweet, I would say it's a mix of a custard, cannoli and whipped cream. Absolutly marvelous! The staff were amazing and I appreciated their input and recommendations

Pistachio truffle- so goooooood (Must try) Chocolate truffle - not bad . Cannoli- definitely bomb !!! (Must try) Cappuccino- very good. Service so busy . But you get seats very quickly Place is crowded but clean.

Amazing experience at Cafe Palermo (Cannoli King)! We stopped in on a whim for a coffee and cannoli and this stop made our night! Our server Nikki was the perfect ending to the day. She was attentive, fun, gave great recommendations and "amazing and funny" according to my kids. Definitely recommend this spot (and Nikki) if you're in Little It

A cute dessert spot tucked into the heart of Little Italy, featuring classic desserts like cannoli and gelato. They have table service, which was bustling on a Friday evening. My friend and I grabbed to-go instead, and the line moved along quickly. We snagged a Mini Chocolate-Covered Cannoli and Lava Brownie. The cannoli was alright -- it was good but also very much tasted like something that's been out in the display case a while. The brownie was SO. GOOD. The melty chocolate on top paired perfectly with the fluffy cake. I'd come back to grab a table or a quick treat!

Got a box of their cannolis for my birthday weekend. They are phenomenal. The crust is perfect. I had it dipped in chocolate with chocolate chips. Love the filling. Balanced perfectly with regard to the sweetness component. Very soft and delicate.

Food is good. The cannoli was very good (not the best I have had). The macarons were good. The best part was the live music outside with the singer doing classic songs from the greats Frank Sinatra. Sal the Singer is reason enough to return, visit, eat a nice meal and enjoy the atmosphere that is Little Italy!

It's the Cannoli King's place. What's not to love? We make this place a regular stop when we're in the city. It's no nonsense and just great desserts and espresso. We were there on the Feast of St Joseph. A special dessert had been prepared for that day. It is sfincia, a soft spongy puff filled with ricotta and decorated with candied fruit. So good. The espresso is delicious. The cappuccino is pretty good too. You can do table seating or order to go.

Already planning my next trip back. We stopped in for a coffee and a quick snack and were pleasantly surprised with this cafe. It's pretty famous and well-known and located in the heart of Little Italy. It was quite busy but things were moving along quickly. The gentleman out front escorted us to a table right away. We wanted to try some cannoli's and saw they had mini cannoli's so we'd were able to try a few different flavors. Pictured is pistachio, original, and caramel, the caramel surprisingly being my favorite! Can't wait to try the other flavors!

The cannoli we tried weren't as good as we expected. The King lost his throne, and the water wasn't hot enough for the tea.

I don't know why outside it says "Cannoli King." I guess they consider themselves the cannoli king. You could pick out waht your dessert of choice would be and everything looks so delicious. I got a chocolate covered cannoli and cappuccino with oat milk. Everything was luscious! I was reading the names of the famous people who have been here -you'll have to come and see it! It was so very yummy and we were all so happy .

This place was on our list for a while so while visiting Ferrara Bakery we thought it's a great time to check them out. We were wrong. NEVER have we experienced such blatant disrespect and what could've easily been viewed as straight discrimination!!! This all happened over two months ago and if you check our reviews you'll notice we rarely if ever have 1 star reviews because we like to sit on a bad experience long enough to think it over and over and then think it over some more to ensure it was truly a bad experience since most times a bad experience can be explained away due to some unforeseen circumstances. This place should fully revamp their staff, including their manager and the woman behind the dessert display if they want to make more sales and business. Why? We walked in and kindly asked if we could buy a few dozen cannolis to post on @nycdessert, our NYC Dessert page to help local businesses gain more exposure and guide New Yorkers to their next sweet treat. The woman immediately began rolling her eyes over and over then told us "move aside we're busy!" Like who talks to this way to paying customers? Okay, so walked over to the only other person there who happened to be the manager who could careless about anything besides playing on his phone. Eventually he looks up and we asked to snap a few pics of the cannoli in the display case. He visibly shooed me away. ‍ At this point I'm like clearly these people working here can't be the owners but for sake of our fans we didn't want them to miss out on delicious dessert so decided to take a few pics from in front of the dessert display case. The same woman behind the counter rushed over like I had just did something horribly wrong by taking pics and says "YOU NEED TO BUY OR GET OUT" Meanwhile I'm watching all the tourists clamor around the dessert display and she says not a word to them. What exactly was done for me to deserve to be spoken to this way in front of all your customers? At this point I'm like cool, maybe its how we "look", we're out of here, and the taste left in our mouths was incredible disappointment . It's incredibly unfortunately this place has some of the rudest "customer service" in all of NYC. Been in the city all my life and never ever experienced anything even close to this.

I am not joking when I say eating this chocolate cannoli was a life changing experience. I wish I had a video of us taking a bite because all of us were in awe of how good it was - so much so that we went back the next day to get more. I wish I lived closer because I would be a regular. A must try if you're in little Italy!!

This was the worst customer service experience ever. It was 90 degrees out so we decided to stop by for some shorbet. My brothers decided they weren't gonna get anything and I got a mango shorbet and asked for some waters. The lady told me she couldn't give them waters unless they also bought a dessert. WATER? You cannot give out free WATER? I didn't even eat the shorbet. F this place.

I've never eaten a cannoli so delicious in my life... this was hands down the best and had no idea it was rated #1 cannoli in NY at that! I was delighted surprised and everything else they offer is equally delicious. I fell in love when I entered this little town, the restaurants, the culture, the vibe and music, but mostly the people. New Yorkers are different, I'm from Oregon, but felt at home here. I didn't want to leave. The service was great and helpful. I enjoyed the ambience in the restaurant, though small, but worth coming in. I love Little Italy and holds true to its roots in NY and American history. Try this cannoli!

This spot is known as the "king of cannolis" with features from all the celebrities. We came by during the San Gennaro Feast, so it was super busy. We opted for table service and chose an array of desserts: Plain Cannoli ($6.75), Tiramisu ($8.75), and Italian Cheesecake ($8.75). Both of the cannoli and cheesecake were okay for me; not the biggest fan of either texture. Surprisingly, my favorite was the tiramisu and I usually do not like tiramisu at all. It was so creamy and velvety. I like that the bitterness of the coffee flavors balanced out the sweetness here. Even though they were busy, service was friendly and efficient.

Everything looks so delicious we couldn't decide so the 4 of us ( 2 being children) decided to go for it and choose 10 desserts.. and sampled them all. Everything but ONE bite of the lobster tail was completely gone within minutes. We even had the privilege of meeting the cannoli king, what a great place. Can't wait to come back. Cannoli loving Floridians!

I *will* admit that I only experienced Caffé Palermo's Gelato & Cannoli. So, here is my review on those two items: Service was on-point. I walked up to the counter; No wait. A lovely gentleman, with a smile on his face, issued a "What can I get for you?" and "Is this to stay or to go, Hun?". Great guy. The man ordered a Pistachio Gelato, I ordered a Chocolate Gelato, and we each got a traditional Cannoli to go. While waiting for our change from the cashier, I tried a spoonful of my Chocolate Gelato. Oh. My. Sweet. Baby. Geezus. I told the gentleman that handed me my Gelato: "This isn't Gelato... This is "Heaven". You're serving "Heaven" in these little cups, right here." He told me that the Gelato was imported from Italy on a frozen, sealed crate. That explained the *distinct authenticity* I tasted and felt. You see... there is an unmistakable difference between fake-Gelato (aka: Ice Cream) and authentic-Gelato. When you "chew" a spoonful of fake-Gelato, the spoonful will separate into two pieces, in your mouth, and STAY separated. True Gelato, when chewed, separates when your teeth are down but the moment you re-open your mouth (in attempts to chew again) the two pieces of Gelato "suction-cup" back together. True Gelato is slightly gummy. It's so rich, you can't really chew it. You have to be patient with it, allowing it to dissolve in your mouth. Ugh... Heaven. We had our Cannoli's when we got home. And again: Oh. My. Sweet. Mary. Mother. Of. God. Crisp shell, creamy, un-gritty/extra smooth filling, loaded with *just* enough chocolate chips, where it's not too much but definitely not too little. End result: I *highly* recommend Caffé Palermo for a dessert run. I apologize for no pictures but frankly, I scarfed it all down too fast to photograph my items, because it was all THAT good!!

For the atmosphere, a must visit. We go when visiting NY. Cannolis were too hard. Although The other cookies were good. But the highlight was the "millionaires coffee" so rich, smooth and great tasting. I came home and attempted to make one myself. Although next time I may try another spot as there are many places.

Stopped in for a dessert after dining in Chinatown. Great spot if you are looking for something sweet or a quick coffee. Delicious cannoli's, tiramisu, and chocolate eclairs. Staff was super friendly and brought our meal out to us very quick. Would definitely go back if I was in the area!

The food was great! The Brussel sprouts were a hit! The Cesar salad was good, the burger was plain and simple it was good! The pizza was great! The crust was fantastic, the sauce was nice and salty the cheese was fine. I've had better pizza but I mean it was GREAT solidly top 5!! The lemonade was fine, everything was a little bit overpriced (it is New York City). The portions were filling for lunch, I recommend splitting a pizza and then having an appetizer to go with it if you want to be full! The service was great! A little bit of a wait but it was nice to just chat and have a good experience! Super cute and super clean inside!

I'm not a cannoli guy, but these were delicious! Particularly loved the chocolate coated cannoli. Nice crunch to all of them, like a sweet taco. We got three small options for $11. You're paying for little Italy prices, so it's a little steep IMO. nice enough service. They invite you to sit but I wasn't sure if we'd have to tip for that? So we just got ours to go. Popular spot. The atmosphere in Little Italy is so magical at night, so stopping here is a great part of the adventure.

Wow! Speechless after our visit to Caffe Palermo! I'm not sure where to begin. We stepped inside because my son wanted to treat my mother and I to gelato for Mother's Day weekend. We grabbed the only open table and lost ourselves in the performance of the gentleman singing. We heard the crowd and turned to see Baby John, the Cannoli King himself, walking thru the crowd. What a host!! Everyone was smiling, singing, and enjoying dessert. The BEST cannoli and the BEST staff. We enjoyed our dessert, sang with the crowd, and capped off the evening with a dance. Every restaurant needs a Chef John DeLutro! Can't wait for the next visit!

Went here to try cannoli for the first time and I indeed liked it. I would have no point of comparison with any others but the crust was very rich in flavor and crispy, however the filling didn't taste like pistachio which was the flavor I ordered. It was very good good, but the flavor just wasn't there. I got the big one and it was about $8 with tax, in my opinion a bit pricy, but I guess is a tourist spot. To conclude, I would recommend because they offer a wide variety of desserts, a big seating area inside with table service, and the staff is very friendly.

Every time my hubby and I are in NYC, we always make a visit to Caffe Palermo; hubby has to get his cannoli fix, from The Cannoli King "Baby John DeLutre." Staff is always great and large assortment of delicious Italian desserts.

I was in New York for a short trip and wanted to try cannoli. I came here because of the positive reviews, and the trip up to Little Italy was well worth it. The place wasn't too crowded when we went. I got a latte, and my husband and I shared the cannoli platter, which had 3 mini cannoli's - chocolate, plain, and cheese. Mini cannolis are the perfect size if you are looking to try more than one flavor. My personal favorite was the cheese cannoli; it was served cold and had a cheesecake-like flavor inside. If you were to get only one item, I would recommend the cheese cannoli. The service was good, and the staff was very friendly.

This place obviously is most famous for its cannoli, but I am not the biggest fan of cannoli in general... They do have a lot more items than cannoli which I was very intrigued by. Ample seating inside. Retro decor with a whole mirror wall that makes the place super spacious and open. The pistachio cheesecake is my favorite! The texture is more creamy and less dense than your typical cheesecake- much more smooth and almost mousse like which I love! Pleasant pistachio flavor. Pistachio ricotta cake was interesting. The cream / ricotta part is enveloped between thin cake layers. Overall too sweet for me though. 3 chocolate mousse was very decadent and chocolatey. A bit on the denser side for mousse cake which I liked with this one. Torta nocciola is something new for me. Alternating layers of hazelnut cake, hazelnut cream and chocolate cream, topped with praline hazelnuts. I like the hazelnut cream and hazelnut flavors in the cake. The nuts itself adds some great texture. However again this is overall too sweet for me. Tiramisu with toasted almonds was good, but the almonds crumbs on top was too sweet. I'll probably stick with the traditional tiramisu. Also tried their ricotta and pistachio cup and assorted berry and cream mousse cup. Great flavors but wish there's more though.

Absolutely fantastic place to dine. We tried the cheesecake, tiramisu, cannolis, and coffee. All was simply excellent! Definitely a place you will want to visit and we look forward to our return!

Our first time in New York and this place came recommended as they have "the best" cannolis. Being that we love to try and eat many different places and the person who recommended this place travels a lot, we had high expectations. First off we headed out at 10am, which I thought was a late start. When we got to the place they didn't open til 11:30. I guess coming from a 24 hour town I thought it was odd for a bakery to open so late in the day. So we walked around for an hour to wait for opening. They let us in around 11:20 and gave us menus. I was only there to try the cannolis but of course the guys wanted food. A nice lady came to take our order and said the food items cannot be ordered yet. We ordered mini and regular sized cannolis, a tiramisu, red velvet, and an apple tart. Honestly the apple tart was the best thing I ate. The people there were awesome and helpful, as I'm sure they knew we were tourist. However is this "the best" cannolis? I'd have to say not really. It's not bad, it's just not the best, "blow my mind" kind of feeling.

They make a great cannoli. Also offer a solid black & white cookie. Years later, I still dream of the star of the show for me, the pignoli cookies. 10/10 Recommend

I came in to order dessert and coffee at the pastry counter. I asked for dessert and the gentleman kindly asked if I wanted a seat. I said sure, offered up any open seat and to order dessert from one of the servers. I ordered a chocolate cannoli and americano. Both very delicious. The cannoli was just sweet enough to pair with the coffee black, no sugar -- the perfect paring. I ordered 2 tiramisus, almond and original, and a red velvet to go. It was about 40 bucks with tip. A lil steep, but the night and ambiance was lovely .The server was an absolute delight! Definitely would come again.

Lots to choose from, and our waiter was super nice - he answered questions and made suggestions. We went for the cannoli and it was okay, but a little too sweet IMO.

Solid dessert spot right in the heart of Little Italy! Lots of seating available and staff is very accommodating of big groups. We came as a group of 9 after dinner at around 10pm and got seated right away! Lots of delish desserts on the menu (get the tiramisu!) and service was fast. Docking a star bc some menu items felt underwhelming -- my friend said her raspberry sorbet tasted like a cheap store bought version :/

Great place in Little Italy to get a cannoli! Staff was really nice and helpful. We got 3 cannolis for a little over $10. My family really enjoyed them! Definitely recommend stopping by the Cannoli King and trying some of their delicious treats!

Fabulous cannolis and desserts gotta check it outski asap. Try the cappuccino! Then do the twist because you just at a real cannoli.

Came in for a little treat. Staff was super friendly and provided good recommendations - we got the pistachio cake with ricotta. I'd recommend it. Our cappuccinos were good - very hot. But everything is pretty expensive. Don't think our 2 drinks and slice of cake were worth $20+. But, maybe a treat-yourself moment in Little Italy every now and then would be okay.

Dessert HEAVEN. A traditional Cannoli and Tiramisu with coffee . I'm sorry to say this place beats San Francisco's North BeachAND Bostons Little Italy's. Friendly and efficient service for a Cafe and Bakery that's VERY busy. My last day in NYC AND I TASTED THE BEST IN ITALIAN BAKED DESSERTS

I first want to say that the staff is so incredibly kind and warm! It does seem like everyone on this street is very friendly and I'm glad I felt truly welcomed coming in here. Having a sit down restaurant dedicated to desserts is such a cute idea to me. The menu is extensive with Italian dessert options. Don't be surprised if you a hard time deciding what to get due to analysis paralysis. Giving four stars because the chocolate moose cake was a bit too thick and did not have enough flavor to warrant it. Mini pistachio cannoli was great and I would highly recommend getting a cannoli since that is what they are known for.

The cannoli king has some great options. We loved the strawberry cheesecake, Irish coffee, red velvet cake, cookies and cream cannoli and tiramisu. Tommy had great energy and got us to come in and enjoy a delicious dessert. We also got to met the cannoli king himself, take a photo with him and he was so kind. Would definitely come back on my next visit.

We got 3 mini cannolis for $11.50, which was a pretty good price. The shells were very crispy and the filling was thick and rich. We got pistachio, cookies and cream, and classic. The pistachio was a very subtle flavor, but still tasty. The chocolate shell was very chocolatey, but I preferred the classic flavor. The workers were very friendly and the cafe has a cute vibe. They have an option to sit down and be waited on, which we didn't really understand because they didn't serve meals, just pastries. So we just got ours to go.

The latte was absolutely wonderful! We loved the cheesecake. We loved the ambiance. Great service!

When I walked in here I wad so excited to try everything! (But of course I can't, not in 1 sitting) The dessert display is so beautiful. The staff that assisted us was very nice and helpful, very patient with answering questions. My bf had a few since there's so much to choose from. We are both big cannoli fans so we got 1 mini of each flavor (original, chocolate, and Pistachio) and a peanut butter pie because it was recommended to us. I think the peanut butter pie was pretty good. But we weren't impressed with the 3 cannoli. Although the texture of the shell and cream were nice, We both thought overall it wasn't that flavorful. I didn't taste the flavor of the cream, even for the Pistachio
