I had been really curious to visit Caffè Terzi, since it’s known as one of the most historic coffee spots in Bologna. I went around noon, planning to try their cappuccino. I had always heard that in Italy ordering cappuccino after 12 isn’t exactly encouraged, and I didn’t want to upset any locals—but I just couldn’t resist! Luckily, they must be used to tourists by now, because I got no strange looks and was able to enjoy my cappuccino without any issue 😁.
After ordering, you take a seat at the outdoor tables and wait for your drink to be served through a little window, which I found very cute. The coffee itself was excellent—rich and flavorful. When I finished, I couldn’t bring myself to just leave the cup outside, so I brought it back inside. They thanked me warmly, and I like to think that little gesture won me some points with the locals 😁.
