Been coming here for years I recently they have this new girl who is terribly making latte art I thought she’s new and doesn’t know how to do it, but I just saw her put a beautiful latte art for other customers right in front of me and when she handle my latte, she dumped all the milk on there and said here is your latte. It taste worse than Starbucks ! I try not to come when she is here but she is here all the time. I miss the old staffs!!!!

Caffe Vita is a gem for coffee lovers who appreciate quality, craft, and a relaxed vibe. The moment you step in, you're greeted with the rich aroma of freshly roasted beans and a laid-back atmosphere that invites you to stay awhile. The baristas are friendly, skilled, and clearly passionate about their craft, often happy to chat about the beans or make a recommendation. Their coffee is consistently excellent—smooth, bold, and full of flavor. Whether you're into pour-overs, cold brews, or classic espresso drinks, Caffe Vita delivers with precision and care. The space is also great for catching up with a friend or getting some work done, with plenty of seating and a creative, indie feel. This place strikes the perfect balance between cool and cozy. Definitely worth a visit if you're into great coffee and good vibes.

Google
Tried 2 of the seasonal lattes and they were interesting. The miso caramel was a bit hard for me to understand but the maple bar latte was delicious albeit a little too sweet for me. There’s some seating available inside if you’re looking to sit with a drink.

Google
Caffe Vita Layout/atmosphere *Four tables; four seat wall counter Food/drink *Maple Bar Latte (maple syrup, brown sugar, vanilla & pinch of salt) with oat milk - good; just enough sweetness *Vegan Chocolate Chip Cookie - good; could tell it was different from ordinary chocolate chip cookie but did not change the quality

I think this is best coffee ever. Cappuccino that always I go stop by no matter where I am in New York City lower Manhattan, upper Manhattan, Brooklyn or Queens if I wanna drink cappuccino, I’ll just come to this place as I love to try cappuccino I always try to do it myself, but but somehow it doesn’t work either way I’ve tried a lot of places but not test like this. I recommend all of my friends and family to visit this place to try their coffee cappuccino latte espresso they have a great test, especially today. I bought one of them coffee beans I wanna try to make some cappuccino.

Cold brew is on the pricey side but is emphatically delicious. Staff is friendly. An obviously industrial vibe that makes it feel a little like you are drinking coffee in a haunted house. But overall probably the best coffee in this area.

Vera Quill

Google
Update: Barista had a lot of attitude today, and had no knowledge of the coffee that was being sold. As a bespoke coffee shop that I’ve trusted for years, I was very upset that the training the staff received is subpar both on customer service and product knowledge. The enthusiasm and passion for coffee that was there is now missing from the staff, and that’s unfortunate. I’m hoping this was a fluke. The coffee itself remains excellent, the service ultimately left a bitter taste of unwashed coffee :/ Previous review: Good coffee in a super industrial neighborhood that’s on the verge of changing. My go tops includes: their signature pacnor, Kyoto (one of the few places that sell this slow drip cold brew), and cortado. You can also buy some bags of coffee that’s pretty good with a home espresso machine

Caffe Vita’s Bushwick outpost is a rather excellent spot to sip a finely-made coffee, grab a baked treat, catch up with a friend, or just catch your breath after a non-stop paced day in the city. have been to Caffe Vita a couple of times and ordered a “Sevilla” each time…and both times hit the spot on particularly cold days. the quality coffee is quite flavorful with a touch of orange zest and finished with some coffee art. sometimes the simplest of coffee drinks is fills in the gaps of your day. the interior is pleasant and superclean—a decent amount of seating in the front and back; filled with various Vita merch; and dominated by a modern coffee bar where the brew magic happens. the service is pleasant and friendly. totally enjoyed chatting with the barista while deciding upon my first drink at Vita. while Caffe Vita is a Seattle transplant, the local vibe embodies that NYC spirit without any gruffness or aloofness. Vita has a charm of its own in Bushwick and i am glad this part of a Brooklyn is still on the rise.

Yelp
Café Vita has become one of my favorite spots. The coffee is consistently good and strong, smooth, and never bitter. You can tell they care about quality. The vibe is warm and welcoming, and the staff always makes you feel at home without overdoing it. Whether I'm grabbing a quick cup or staying for a while, I always leave feeling a little better than when I walked in.

Yelp
Quick, friendly and great coffee! Love the vibes, merch and selections! A must when in Bushwick!

Yelp
Amazing pumpkin latte ($7.25 for a large) Cool vibe but not my preference for a coffee shop

Yelp
This location was a godsend for my short term job in the city. Went in on a whim for an americano and after tasting this product, I was hooked. Brought home a shirt to remember to come back after all these years I was happy to find plenty of vita brand drip in Washington, too. Thanks caffe Vita

Yelp
1st time here. It's walking distance from Ichiran ramen noodle place. 2pm in the afternoon, inside is packed and one barista was there. I ordered a peanut butter cookie, it was very good. I was told most of the pastries are gone by noon. I'm sure other pastries are good as well. a bathroom set up and it was very clean. Cozy and nice temperature inside. I've attached some pictures I hope it'll help. At the store sales coffee beans, some store logo T-shirts, and hat etc.... I'll come back at this location. Tip:when you wait about 10min, a table is going to be open. walking distance from L & B60 bus. highly recommend :)

Yelp
Popped in here quickly after pole class and I'm glad I did! It was a quiet Sunday afternoon. As soon as we walked in the baristas were attentive and helpful. We asked about the pastries and any recommendations. I ended up getting a ham and cheese pastry as well as a cookie latte. Both were good! Ill come back in next time I'm in the area! There was a small sitting area in the back that I'm sure you can sit down quickly if you need to get some work done.

Yelp
Decent cafe in basically an industrial zone with not much for food options around. Full typical drink menu with a few sweet treats that pair well. Staff was friendly and the place looks cool. Not only a cafe but also a local coffee roaster. Looking forward to try the beans!

Yelp
Two blocks away from one of my favorite places for street art this is a true coffee shop. Got the camp fire mocha which was amazing. #coffee #nyccoffee #nyccoffeeshops #nycfood #nycfoodie

Yelp
Great coffee and tea in an underserved location! They've become an important addition to this section of Brooklyn. They also have pastries and other snacks. I go here a couple of times a week and I recommend it to all of my clients! It would be nice if they were open later but that may not be very practical in this neighborhood.

Yelp
If you're looking for a friendly atmosphere with good drinks, DO NOT go to caffe vita. a group of us walked in for some early morning drinks and the barista was less than happy with us. her constant negative attitude was such a drag. it got to the point where there was a line in the shop and she freaked out when someone started to leave. my friends and i felt very uncomfortable so we left as well. before even getting our drinks she yelled about the bathroom in the shop and asked us why we were here..isn't it obvious? definitely way better and more friendlier shops around.

Yelp
Was working in the area in the morning and needed a nice hot coffee to start the day. Decided to stop here and check it out. The look is really cool , almost like a rock n roll enthusiasts got really into coffee. Was recommended the campfire coffee . It was interesting however I was far more impressed by the Valencia coffee there.

Tom G.

Yelp
Cool little coffee shop. Hip, friendly vibe. Great coffee and place to hang out at for a while to catch up on email or chat with friends.
google avatar

Jay I.

Yelp
The cold brew was delicious and the place had a nice vibe. I really dig the brick and the window to see through to the garage/storage. The barista was personable and the price is what you would come to expect from a cafe like this. All in all it was a super good piece of my morning. When in the area, I'll be looking forward to stopping in again.

Yelp
I'm not in the habit of leaving reviews anymore, but consistent positive experiences warrant a shout-out. If you brew your own coffee and need a filter re-up in Bushwick, Cafe Vita has your back - Aeropress, Chemex, multi-size generic pourover etc. To my knowledge, this is the only coffee place around Bushwick that carries specialty filters. Trust me, I've walked into or called a lot of coffee shops and asked. Furthermore, they don't overcharge, are very nice, and always pick up the phone. Their beans are excellent, and best of all, they use environmentally friendly packaging. (For reference, a pack of 100 Chemex square filters was $9.50, which is the retail cost on the Chemex site. Compare that with SEY which charges $16 for the same thing?!?!? The more you know!)

Mariel H.

Yelp
Amazing service; both women working were extremely friendly and helpful. Not to mention this is one of *the* best caffe mochas I've ever had!! A little funky nook in Bushwick you don't want to miss

Ezra R.

Yelp
Always welcomed with a smile and makes your drink of choice with care. Coffee is pretty good, was so happy they were open on a Sunday morning!

Yelp
The coffee gods have answered my prayers! I used to live in LES and was able to pop into Vita for my caffeine fix. Now I live in Buskwick and have literally been to every cafe in my area including spots in Ridgewood. I was thrilled to spot Caffe Vita last weekend. My mouth dropped to see one of my favorite Seattle coffee shops right here in my neighborhood. The cafe opens at 8 am. I arrived at 8:15! They have gorgeous painted murals on the front. The shop is still small an intimate but definitely bigger than the LES spot. There's also a window view of the roasting room in Caffe Vita style. The barista was super helpful with all mercha inquiries. I ordered a little non fat latte. They had run out of skim. I decided on almond and she was nice enough not to upcharge me. At my first sip I was reminded of a term I heard in Seattle all the time.... "velvet foam". Yum! When you taste that creamy topping you understand what is meant by velvet foam. Other shops have foam that is reminiscent of a child blowing bubbles with a straw into his chocolate milk. Not Vita and that's what makes this place so great. It's that attention to detail of making the best coffee drinks. Thanks Caffe Vita for coming to me! You made me one happy Brooklynite!

Yelp
Staff took the wrong order . After I found out the mistake he pull back the milk to the container and give me the order without the extra he charged. It would be nice if he asked.

Yelp
Yelp really proved to be useful this time. I did a Yelp search looking for good coffee close by. I saw that Caffe Vita had a good Yelputation (yes, I just made that word up) so I walked around the corner to get there. I was helping out a good friend with her art exhibit in the nearby art studio complex, so I decided to get coffee for her as well. There were some people sitting outside already. "What a popular place this must be", I thought. I came inside and was shocked to see an old acquaintance, Graham. He seems to frequent this spot. I got an iced quad breve latte and a doppio. The cashier was friendly, polite and professional. The interior was not large but more than adequate, and everything was clean. Before I could finish my beverage I hopped away back to the art studio building complex. Graham and I caught up on his art projects so that was a big plus of having gone to this place. I delivered to Sophia her espresso and she was very happy. She also commented to me that the espresso was very good. The next time that I am in the area I will certainly stop here again.

Yelp
Great cappuccino! The service was good, the prices are good and the place has great vibes.

Yelp
Coffee is very delicious. Nice atmosphere. Coffee shops have become so popular that often a barista doesn't care about the taste of every cup of coffee. But not in this place. I haven't drunk so delicious coffee for awhile. I like the design of cups. Great job guys

Yelp
Best coffee in Brooklyn. We use Vita Coffee in our offices and our staff and clients love the coffee. Nothing else compares.
google avatar

Ramon B.

Yelp
Hidden in a very commercial area with not much around it I've had my eye on this place for a while now. Serving your standard coffee shop menu. Couple of seats, nice lighting and a good atmosphere to enjoy a cup of coffee
google avatar

Sara F.

Yelp
Shout out to the gal who was working here today - dark hair, very nice- thanks so much for the helpful neighborhood advice and for making me an iced tea. Thank you for breaking the stigma of nasty hipstery coffee shops in this neighborhood.
google avatar

Christine Q.

Yelp
Stop in for a quick latte. WOW! Amazing is the one word I can use to describe my experience. Best part is if you buy coffee there you get a free drink!
google avatar

Sandy P.

Yelp
Their barista really knows what they're doing. The foam was just the right amount and the milk wasn't heated to the point where it burned your tongue to drink it. The flavor of the espresso beans aren't too strong which is how I like it. I can't say the same about the danishes though. They aren't all that great. Will come for the lattes whenever I pass through.
google avatar

Yasmin N.

Yelp
Cool interior and good service. Coffee not quite as strong as I had hoped (cappuccino), and milk a bit too hot. I liked that we could watch as they roasted the coffee through small windows in the shop. Coffee here is very pricey: $4.75 for a cappuccino!! The mocha was DELICIOUS; but $5 Quality of the coffee we had (caffe del sol - the one they use in espresso beverages) was only ok. They had a small range of cool merchandise; but it was very expensive ($16 for a small coffee mug). I really do feel like I had a good experience in here, in spite of the minor disappointments regarding quality and price :-)
google avatar

David D.

Yelp
Rarely have I felt more unwelcome to walk into a cafe. Dude working at the espresso machine glares up at me when I walk in and gives me the most subtle of nods only after I make an obvious effort to acknowledge him. Cashier is also unfriendly, handing me my drink and my change without a word. Is it that hard to greet and thank your customers, especially as a new business? The coffee is good, but the overall experience left a bad taste in my mouth.
google avatar

Mad W.

Yelp
Hands down BEST coffee in brooklyn-actually probably the best coffee anywhere. They roast all the beans on premises, and a big window in the cafe lets you watch all the magic happen. The baristas are really nice and pour some serious heart and soul into their drinks. They play good music and it's a really good place to sit and bang out some work. Wifi is really fast too. Check it out, you won't be disappointed. :)
google avatar

Rayid G.

Yelp
Decent coffee. Good, not great but my bar for coffee is very high. The barista was friendly and the place is nice.
google avatar

Anjela C.

Yelp
The coffee was fantastic! Place is really comfortable and stylish! The offer different variety of coffee there. Cool atmosphere.
google avatar

Jennifer S.

Yelp
Came here right after getting craptastic service/coffee at KAVE (which I threw away). Got iced ristretto shots here and a cold brew. TO DIE FOR!!! Best coffee I've had in a long long time. The barista was extremely kind and friendly. I sadly live in CT so I'll have to find an excuse to come back here soon to get my fix!
google avatar

Yelp
THE BEST coffee straight from Seatle in my neighborhood . i m so lucky.

Spencer C.

Yelp
I used to work down the block from caffe vita I really miss the coffee and the energy from that place unfortunately covid has changed the world for now I am looking forward to stopping by for a perfect cup of joe the next time I am in the Neighborhood

Ray Anthony G.

Yelp
Favorite Coffeeshop and Roastery hands down. Quality Coffee, Atmosphere 10/10 and service is consistently excellent. Big ups to Abeed behind the counter for serving up the caffeine with a smile and the swiftness.
google avatar

Diane B.

Yelp
Tied for best espresso in Bushwick (a close tie with Strangeways on Suydam/St Nick). The seltzer they served was a bit flat. Other than that, perfect.
google avatar

Far Z.

Yelp
Excellent Coffee, I drive well out of my way to get a cup of drip when able. First time I had Coffee here was on a trip to LA 6 months ago, and thought it was great. Even then, I found myself driving 20 min everyday to get my daily cup. Just happened to accidentally pass by this location while driving to a job, and was totally surprised that they opened a shop in Bushwick. They also roast at this location. Worth the trip if you like you Coffee done right, and consistent.
google avatar

Mike A.

Yelp
exceptional coffee in the middle of bushwick . had the capuccino and it was one of the best ive had in a long time.
google avatar

Sertac A.

Yelp
I've been to many coffee shops around NYC and I can confidently say that this place has the best coffee I've ever tasted. Anytime I'm in brooklyn, I go miles out my way just to pick up a cup of coffee from here. Amazing!
google avatar

Ray C.

Yelp
this is some top tier shit... really good. chill environment too. its a bit out of the way tho,

B K.

Yelp
Went a few times. Coffee is decent but the cups are terrible. Three times, all three times they leaked at the seam. Maybe they got a bad batch of cups but it's amazing no one's mentioned it to them, I couldn't be the only one.

Brendan P.

Yelp
Holly,... great barista! Thanks! Yelp said I need to keep writing so,.... it was 2 blocks from work,... so there is that too.

Gaby M.

Yelp
The muffins are good, the coffee is fine, although a bit too bitter for my taste, but as mentioned in other reviews these guys are not the friendliest. The barista was rude and condescending to me and that is not the first time it has happened.
