Caitie Pies

First time eating here, and I'm wondering why I waited so long? We came in on a Saturday shortly after opening. The atmosphere was light and friendly, the staff the same. The food? *chef's kiss* I ordered the savory chicken pot pie hand pie and my son got the pizza hand pie. Super delicious, came out quickly and were amazing! We highly recommend Catie Pies for the staff, food, service, and over all experience. So good we even got food to go!

Being short on time, we came here for lunch and I’m so glad we did! A cute little lunch spot just above a retail store with great customer service and delicious, well priced food! We were really surprised by this little shop at the quality of everything you receive for the price you pay. The cashier was very friendly and easy to talk to. The food was quick and very tasty. Highly recommend!

Very cute place and excellent service!! Lots of desserts that look amazing, wish I could have tried them all! 10/10 signage and the sandwich was huge and delicious, couldn't control myself to take a picture!!!

If anything, go and try their raspberry lemon curd hand pie! The texture and balance in flavor is hard to find, so definitely worth a visit. Friendly, patient staff. Reasonable prices and a variety of sweet and savory options. The Shepard and pot pie are a must try as well. Lunch and other dessert items were okay. The chai pie and blackberry pie were not it. Truffle bites were dry. The peach hand pie and strawberry lemonade hand pie were also dry with little filling. Breakfast special was great! Sometimes the biscuit isn't warm, but the eggs are made fresh.

What a cozy spot for brunch or lunch. Everything is made from scratch and so delicious! The menu has good variety (especially for desserts) and different specials like the pumpkin bread pudding keep the menu interesting. The cheese burger handpie and shepherds pie handpie I tried were sooo good!! The flaky crust is everything. Service is great, Chef Caitlin is the best, and I love the atmosphere overlooking the shop beneath. Caitie Pies really helps breathe new life into downtown Abilene. They are taking pie orders for the holidays or you can get a catering order. Definitely go support this local spot!

Took my Aunt who was visiting and my mother to eat here yesterday. The special was a grilled cheese/ pimento sandwich! It was beyond AMAZING! I hope they will consider adding it to their menu ! Thank you for the wonderful service as well! We will be back!

Really enjoyed stumbling onto this place to eat. Great food in an atmosphere from the “past” (in a good way!). Service was friendly and quick…aim to please was obvious. We will be back!

If you haven't been, you are missing out! Awesome sandwiches, meat pies, and YUMMY desserts! 😍🤤 And ALWAYS friendly service! Highly recommend the Pecan and Feta salad with a scoop of chicken salad, the hammer ham sandwich, and ANY of the many desserts! All homemade in store. You seriously can't go wrong! Keep it up you guys and gals. Has seriously become our new fave :)

Upstairs in a super cute boutique full things to see lies a sparsely decorated, not really inviting little cafe. OK, its clean and sparse and aesthetics are not everything, right? My friend got chicken and wild rice soup and their salad with cranberries, nuts and a topper of chicken salad made from scratch. She LOVED the soup, everyone there loved the soup and we heard their other soups were fabulous as well. I was visiting from DFW and opted to bring home some of the hand pies to share with my hubby. Full transparency, I ate the sugar plum cherry one in the car on my way. OMG it was incredible! Flaky buttery crust was so messy to eat in the car but who cares?! I also got an apple hand pie which my husband adored and we split a pear and fig. Really wished the apricot had been in stock as the other pies were positively heavenly. I also purchased 2 chicken pot hand pies that were to bake at a later time. Can not wait! You should not wait either. So many yummy items to try.

Came here after getting my haircut to see what they had. I ended up getting a Philly cheesesteak hand pie. It was a 10/10 the crust was all velvety and wavy, buttery and flaky, the meat was also seasoned to perfection. The pie was also a little greasy and some dripped onto my hand and burnt a little but was overall a good,delicious experience. The lady who took my order was nice and friendly. The store itself was warm and welcoming. I definitely recommend coming here if you're looking for a quick, easy lunch.

I get something different every time I go there, and I connot stress how great every one of them have been. Every savory option is great. While the the chicken pot pie handpie is basically an instant classic, I've been regularly ordering the OG Sandwich or the pita. If you want something sweet, every option is top tier.

If you haven't checked them out yet, then you're honestly missing out! Fantastic brunch and lunch place, and great atmosphere. Great little shop to just hang out at. The food is next-level. I dare you to just get one hand pie!
