Cajun Crawfish Dallas

Looking to try a new spot I found this on Google maps and we came, and proceeded to have dessert first. The peach cobbler and beignets were great and then our friends combined the two and it was like the most amazing combination ever. The food was superb! We all will definitely be back. There's still other dishes I must try. Those shrimp were so amazing I couldn't get enough.

I had the red beans and rice ($5.99) and the Gator Bites ($12.99). I ordered everything to go, and I think the red beans were a full pint, so the price of $5.99 is ok. They were PLENTY spicy enough for my taste, and they included plenty of sausage. I was totally pleased with the quantity and the quality. The Gator Bites were well cooked, and nice and spicy but didn’t include any sort of sauce like pictured on the ordering menu via Yelp (looked to be some sort of cocktail sauce but not sure). Although they were mighty tasty, there was just not enough gator to make it worth the $12.99 price tag. Don’t let my three star rating deter you from trying them out. It was really the cost vs quantity issue with the Gator bites that knocked them down from four starts to three stars. I will definitely check them out again. If for nothing else, the red beans and rice - I LOVED it!!!

Unfortunately, the batch of crawfish from today was bad. The crawfish were all tough and the few that I opened had black discoloration on them. The potato was undercooked. There were only about 2 slices of sausage that tasted like hot dog links. The corn had good flavor. The snow crab was a little sour and noticed the black speckles on them that were not seasoning! It was an Uber eats order so I’m hoping they issue a refund otherwise it’s $42 wasted on inedible food. Previous order: I’ve had their pasta in the pasta and it was good however the freshness factor on boiled items and the fried fish missed the mark. No to the gumbo as well.

LOVE IT!!! I have been ordering via Door Dash since lock down started. Authentic, fun staff, nice open space, and hush puppies are as good as Mama's! If you have not been or ordered from these guys you must. ❤

This place is amazing. I almost didn't want to leave a review because I didn't want this place becoming too big too quickly and having the quality go down because this spot is 🔥. The PO Boys were light and delicious. Everything is fried to perfection and seasoned to perfection! After we ate we must have been sitting down for at least an hour just enjoying the good atmosphere and vibes. Will definitely be going back and possibly with more people!

Ordered the Combo Boil 2. Enough for two meals. Food was amazing, drinks top notch, and brought out my beer right on time. Also best fried pickles I've had in a while. Can't wait to try the soul food. Mr. Baton Rouge really put his foot all in this food. If you have not been here, you are most definitely missing out.

Today was my third trip to Cajun Crawfish. The food here hasn't disappointed me yet. Everything is delicious. The staff is awesome and the owner is super cool and takes pride in his restaurants. Flavor and spice is spot on. I always leave fat full.

If I could give this place a negative 0 I would! I ordered the boiled shrimp, corn & potatoes.. it was horrible!!! Shrimp doesn’t come clean. No flavor to it.. it’s bland & taste like oil🤢 never ordering from this place ever again!! Felt like throwing up after just having a few bites..
