"Though “cake” is in the name, Cake Monkey is fully dedicated to baking pies. They prepare a hefty amount of pies during the holiday season, but keep the bestselling brown butter pecan pie on the menu throughout the year. Try the latest goods like the blueberry lemon pie with a frangipane crust or the gluten-free chocolate cake pudding pie." - Mona Holmes

Sweet Mornings Brewed In a corner street where sunlight streams, A cozy café lives in dreams. With scent of bread and coffee beans, And marble floors kept crisp and clean. The cakes are art, the tarts divine, Each bite a joy, each sip a sign That care and love fill every tray, And kindness brews the start of day. The staff with smiles, warm and wide, Serve joy with every cup beside. A cheery laugh, a gentle tone, You’ll never feel you dine alone. So come and stay, take time to see How sweet the world through pastries be— Where hearts are light and flavors true, And every visit feels brand new.

Google
Amazing little bakery with modern twists on classic delicious goodies as well as usual items with their own great take. I love the Cakewich, basically the modern, tastier, better quality ding ding. It’s cakey, moist, chocolatey, not too sweet, a nice fudgy coating, and perfect amount of cream filling Staff is always so kind and friendly!

I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but please don't make the same mistake I did. I ordered the strawberry passionfruit cakewhich to surprise my friend for her birthday, and unfortunately, it was a major letdown. There was no detectable passionfruit flavor, the strawberry cream tasted like plain pink frosting with no real flavor, and the cake itself was dry. I can’t speak to their other offerings, but I strongly advise against this particular item. It tasted more like a packaged snack cake — think zebra cake or a store-bought Twinkie — than a bakery dessert. Really disappointing.

Google
A very small bakery, almost no room to sit inside and absolutely no seating outside. The pastries are okay, but definitely not the best.

Came in and purchased two small cakes for my mother's birthday based on yelp reviews! Great experience, and yummy treats, can't wait to return. The staff was patient and kind and they all seemed as if they enjoyed working there which is always a plus.

Cake Monkey is an absolute dream for anyone who loves high-quality, delicious desserts that truly satisfy every craving. Their treats don’t just bring joy—they’re perfect for gifting, too! I’ve given their desserts to family and friends, and they’re always a hit. Don’t miss their sample package—it’s a must-try. I’ve tasted every pie on the menu, and each one is incredible, but the blueberry lemon frangipane pie is my personal favorite. With a fantastic menu and a warm, friendly staff, Cake Monkey makes every visit feel special!

Google
Ordered 16 mini cakes from Cake Monkey Bakery for my mom’s birthday, and they were a hit! There were about 9 different flavors, and they were both adorable and delicious. Everyone was blown away by both the taste and the visuals. The customer service was top-notch. Every time I called, the staff were friendly, and the woman who helped me on pick-up day was very kind and helpful. Can’t wait to try more things from them. Cake Monkey Bakery has definitely won me over!

Google
Ordered a 6-inch malt chocolate cake for my birthday. It was delicious! I love chocolate and the flavors were rich and decadent. The layers of the cake are very neat and it’s filling enough to serve at least 10 people. Leftovers keep pretty well in the fridge.

Shawn D.

Yelp
OMG these baked things are SO SO GOOD! We swung by after hitting the Tar Pits, and were just blown away by the selection, the quality, and the prices. Definitely going back!

Yelp
Stopped by after a work event Saturday. I had this place bookmarked for awhile, and I found myself in the neighborhood so I paid them a visit. Ordered a bunch of my stuff to share with my sister & her kids. I ordered: *Cinnadoodle cookie - standard snickerdoodle cookie. Tasty, but nothing special *Lemon bar - different from standard lemon bars, this one has a creamy filling & a crumble topping. Very good, but I still prefer a lemon curd filling *Black & White cakewich** - despite what I ordered, I actually received a red velvet. I do not like red velvet cake, so I gave it away *GF Cookies & Cream cakewich - for my nephew, so I didn't try it *Peanut butter & marshmallow cakewich - good, but could hardly taste the peanut butter *Brown sugar pop pie - my favorite of the bunch, would definitely get again. Buttery crust with a perfectly sweet brown sugar filling. I didn't leave a piece for anyone else. Oops!Great with a cup of coffee *Chorizo croissant - nice savory & very flaky croissant. The chorizo & cheddar filling was very savory. *Chocolate caramel mini cake - delicious, not worth $10.95 *Confetti mini cake - gave to my niece, so I didn't try it Deducting a star for receiving a red velvet instead of the B & W I ordered, and for the price point. The mini cakes in particular are over priced in my opinion. Nearly $11 for what is not much larger than a cupcake is too much. I paid the price because I wanted to try them, but I wouldn't order again due to price. I wouldn't rush back for the cookie or lemon bar, but I would absolutely order the brown sugar pop pie and the chorizo croissant again.

Yelp
My wife is Celiac but also has some other dietary restrictions. I've found that those don't tend to go well together. A lot of gluten-free food has a lot of absolute crap in it, even in a health-conscious place like LA. Cake Monkey is the one exception I've found. Their ingredients list doesn't include palm oil, or weird sugar alcohols, or a bunch of gums. They use what I would use if I knew how to bake a cake for my wife. And the cake was good, particularly for being gluten-free! I had to take off a star because of the cost. A six inch GF cake is $68. Maybe my brain just hasn't updated to what a cake-baking bakery charges, and I know inflation has gone bonkers lately, but holy hell that feels like a lot of money for even an excellent dessert.

Jenn C.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious! Purchased a mini cake that tasted absolutely amazing even two days after I bought it. The service was great, people were friendly. Definitely coming back! Super cute packaging too! Great for small gifts!

Virginia B.

Yelp
Such a cute bakery and the staff is incredibly nice and helpful. I love that they also carry gluten free and vegan options! I got the chocolate strawberry cakewich (vegan & gf) and a strawberry pop tart. The cakewich was amazing! I couldn't even tell that it was vegan and gluten free. It was also the perfect amount of cake- not too much and not too little. The pop tart was buttery and the strawberry jam inside was perfect. This bakery nails it with presentation and taste!

Erica K.

Yelp
Cake Monkey is my monthly indulgence. The adult chocolate pop tart is sinful but worth every pleasurable bite. The lady working there is nice and attentive. The store, covered with recipes on the walls is the epitome of cuteness.

Mike S.

Yelp
Where to start with Cake Monkey? How about yes...yes to everything here! I tried Cake Monkey for the first time today and it was all amazing. What I love about this bakery starts with owner loving what she does (and it shows). The employees were all so nice, and Lisa was great about recommendations and giving insight as to what her favorite items were. I had the sage cheddar croissant and it was light, cheesy, and satisfying. Sage was the wildcard flavor, but it worked with the cheese and croissant perfectly, and didn't overwhelm the overall flavor of this delicious croissant. On to the cakewich(es), which are beautiful, delectable, flavorful, and unique to Cake Monkey. This is the first time I've seen mini personal cakes wrapped like a ding dong (for those old enough to know what those are), and I appreciate being able to use the word delectable in a review. Cakewiches are a great size for satiating a sweet tooth without making you feel guilty for treating yourself. There are a variety of flavors from peanut butter/marshmallow (insanely good) to pink lemonade (refreshing and big flavor) and raspberry red velvet. I also tried the chocolate marshmallow pop pie (homemade pop tart) and to be honest I wish I could have picked one of each flavor. It was sweet without being too rich, chocolatey, and the pastry was baked to perfection. Everything at Cake Monkey is delicious, decadent, gorgeous, and fun. They have unique takes on everything from matzah brittle to pop tarts and ding dongs, and each cake, pie, cookie and bar will make you want to devour them all. Cake Monkey also has several vegan and gluten free options...with some items being both vegan AND gluten free. If you want to TREAT yourself (see what I did there?), get to Cake Monkey right away. I appreciate that they have online ordering and you won't be disappointed with anything you get. Now, I'm off to go walk 25 miles and make up for this splurge...but it was worth it!

Isabel G.

Yelp
Great treats and customer service. If you're gluten free, you can also enjoy! Worth a taste!

Veronica O.

Yelp
We had Cake Monkey Bakery do our wedding cake. We had a very hard time choosing a cake. My husband doesn't like sweets so we had to find something that would really wow him and I'm the opposite I like sweets so much that I'm a bit of a snob. We found Cake Monkey and tried their wedding cake sampler and ended up really liking the carrot cake. We knew carrot cake could be controversial, but it was so good we knew it would convert any carrot cake hating guest. We chose to do semi naked frosting with tahitian vanilla buttercream which was delicious! It tasted like it had grains of salt in the frosting. The cake was perfect! We had leftovers which we froze and continued to eat throughout the year and it still tasted good. The cake was delivered to our venue the day of, perfect and on time. Cake Monkey Bakery did an awesome job!

Madeleine B.

Yelp
I stopped by on a weekend afternoon and tried the blueberry crumble pie and cinnamon doodle cookie. Both were decent, but didn't have oomph of flavor and texture that would make me want to come back. Of the two, the pie was my favorite.

Marci A.

Yelp
live out your carbie girl in a carbie world fantasies here. I have been a fan of cake monkey's dingdongs for years. I would get them in greenelaf in Costa Mesa on every trip. I was excited to finally try the store. I picked up a strawberry and brown sugar hand pie and of course, ding dongs!!!! they have an assortment of cakes and other nostalgic favorites. strawberry hand pie/poptart- ehhh brown sugar--- yes to the power of YASS so good ding dongs are heavenly as usual. super nice staff street parking available

Kristen B.

Yelp
100% recommend! Was in the mood for a triple berry cake for my birthday celebration. Sweet Lady Jane came to mind but was had not reopened yet and found Cake Monkey online. It did not disappoint and exceeded all expectations, super easy to order online, pick up was easy and the cake was beyond perfect and delicious. Keep up the great work Cake Monkey team! Will be back!

Yelp
This place brings the nostalgia, and it's everything that is magical and fabulous! It's like most of the time I was trying to figure out how to explain the way things tasted, but all I could do was talk about how it made me feel...which was happy and magical, as if I had a mouth full of fairy dust and/or glitter! We ordered a few different things, and when I say a few I mean like 8 different things. I was only able to get pictures of what had not been devoured. Get there at a reasonable time, because they do run out of items. I was there in the early afternoon, and they had already ran out of the triple berry mini cake....but not a problem b/c there was a ton of other amazing items. The person who helped us was super sweet, and made some great suggestions (like the chocolate banana bread-a MUST TRY), I wish I ordered the loaf! Parking is ridiculous, and getting there is an act of Congress (it's Beverly Blvd, can't expect much), but once you arrive, it's soooo worth it!!

Treva L.

Yelp
Omg the desserts here are sooooo good. It's hard to come out of this bakery with less than 4 items lol. There is so much to choose from that it's tempting to not buy one of everything. The pecan dacquoise mini cake is ridiculously good. It's a brown butter cake with caramel buttercream and pecan dacquoise. The coconut mini cake is Aaaamazing! It's a brown butter cake with housemade caramel, toasted coconut and shredded coconut frosting. The cakewich is their version of back in the day old school Hostess ding dongs, but soooo much tastier. Don't sleep on this bakery it's a must when you want a tasty dessert.

Alex J.

Yelp
Overall, this is a solid balery serving unique items in terms of just things you don't find "homemade". Service was great. The woman helping me was very sweet and answered some questions. I went ahead and ordered a Rolo and a Black and white cake which were about $5. Given the sizes, they are a bit pricey. The rolo was okay, definitely better than those Little Debbie Swiss Rolls, but I thought it was just lacking a bit in both size which in turn made it lacking in overall combination of the cake to cream ratio. But it was chocolatey, slightly sweet, and tasted great. The cake was moist and the outer chocolate shell gave a nice crunch. The other cake which is a better ding dong, was delicious. A bit bigger, good cake to cream ratio (I mean this is basically a rolo in layered form) cake was again moist, cream wasn't too sweet, and chocolate shell offered a nice contrast in texture.

Harsimran s.

Yelp
Service was great! The desserts were okay. Summer cookie was excellent- the s'mores cookie was not the best (the reason we came here)..and my niece had a small cake- which she gave a 3/5. Adorable space - has recipes as the wallpaper. So much potential

Amber D.

Yelp
Hands down a really good bakery! Came here Sunday craving something sweet. Decided on a vegan lemon poppy bread slice. It was so delicious. It had just the right amount of sweetness. The lady who took my order asked if I was ok with an end piece which didn't bother me at all. I was surprised at how big that piece was. Definitely coming back to try more stuff.

Brian V.

Yelp
4+ fun, little bakery, located in the Fairfax area. I came across this place because I was on the way to my friends birthday and was looking for pies. The folks here were super friendly and helpful. When I came in, I looked around and they had a bunch of small handheld pies or pop pies available. They also have these mini cakes. I ended up getting a few of the mini cakes and the pop pies. All were delicious and were a hit at the gathering. I also got a small chocolate cupcake for myself. It looked like one of those hostess dingdong's. Super moist and yummy. I found parking pretty easily. It was in the middle of the day. It is on a frenetic street though, so it could be stressful to parallel park. I think you could park around in the neighborhood close by. Definitely would recommend if you're looking for some small baked goods with a great quality either for yourself or to small gatherings.

Tiger P.

Yelp
This is a review of baked goods shipped from Cake Monkey via Goldbelly. Overall, it was a delightful birthday splurge and one we might consider in the future. We got a Vegan Box and the set of 9 Mini Cakes. The Mini Cakes were fun but probably wouldn't be my first choice in the future. We ordered The Classic (yellow cake with chocolate frosting), Raspberry Red Velvet, and Black and White (dark chocolate cake with vanilla frosting and chocolate crumb coating). The Classic was definitely my favorite, because the silky buttercream frosting benefited a lot from the addition of chocolate. On the other two flavors, the frosting just tasted bland, and there was so much frosting compared to the amount of cake that it was disappointingly flavorless. Pictures of the mini cakes attached. The best thing in the Vegan Box was the chocolate strawberry cakewich. It was moist inside, held up well to travel, and the outer chocolate coating was delicious! The vegan chocolate chip cookie was unexciting, the scone was dry, and the worst item was the chocolate banana cookie that had great big flabby raisins in it -- those didn't get eaten beyond the first bite. Next time I would go for as many cakewiches as possible!

Paula G.

Yelp
I was going for lunch to a friend's house and wanted to bring something. I found Cake Monkey Bakery and the pictures looked fabulous, so I decided to order a miniature cake for each of the three people going. I got a caramel cake and strawberry fruit cake and a chocolate gluten free cake. My friends loved their gluten free cake and strawberry fruit cake, but unfortunately I didn't feel the same way. Not because it wasn't lovely, but more because it was a little lemony and that just isn't my favorite. The cakes were lovely and my friends were thrilled. It's just a matter of taste and I'm just not partial to lemon.

Roger G.

Yelp
Okay, this is amazing! I recently had a very special event to celebrate that called for variety. When looking for smaller cakes, I came across Cake Monkey. I was looking closely at their 3" cakes, and almost made that my choice. Almost. They have an amazing variety of cakes along with other sweets, and this is one of the only places I've found that makes a Carrot cake WITHOUT nuts in the mix (a dietary consideration I make). But, in the end, I selected what has now become my favorite new thing... the Cakewich! These are smaller cakes (like a Ding Dong), but infinitely tastier, individually foil wrapped for your personal enjoyment. So, I ordered a variety of Cakewiches and cut them into 4 pieces, yielding what would be just a bit larger than standard petit fours. Combining this with a variety of pint size sorbets really gave the occasion a very special flair. Now, to explore the other sweetie-treats! Check 'em out!

Mike C.

Yelp
Piggyback, anyone? Given my current size and weight, I'm normally the one giving them but, at my age, I'm more than willing to hop on someone else's suggestions. As I studied their menu on Locale, my lean favored the chocolate items. I first tried the chocolate pudding cake (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=dO7wMipVD_yyI2Ovq6ZZ0A&userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q); the order listing describes it as a decadent chocolate cake, soaked in a rich chocolate custard and Cake Monkey's Caramel and Marshmallows. It reminded me of Rocky Road with those ingredients but richer. It took two sittings to finish this and it is definitely a dessert item to accompany a hot cup of coffee or a cold glass of milk. The next try was the Wake Monkey sandwich cookie (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=7vbMAwLPHlJ78Ge6A_tCvg&userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q); the description reads a rich, fudgy cookie with flourless chocolate and toasted pecans. It's filled with a coffee-infused buttercream. Again, this sweet is probably best eaten as a dessert with the same accompaniments as the cake. The coffee flavor in the buttercream was subtle, allowing the chocolate to dominate. Think of this as another decadent dessert. I finished with the Lil Merri's (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=T_BVTQRZZbXmpbQtymfXIg&userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q), titled as "voted #1 cookie in LA Magazine". It's described as an oatmeal cream pie sandwich filled with a creamy maple vanilla buttercream. This was a welcome change, a lighter sweets choice. It is pretty large still and filling so it took two sittings to finish it. I would order again, likely getting another Lil Merri's and trying something else on their menu. Guess I'll need to study more thoroughly next time.

Yelp
I just tried the coconut cake and it was completely stale!! It was not moist. I was severely disappointed and it was expensive. The service was just counter girl and she was pleasant enough. However, I can't justify the money on a cake that tastes old as a week! Not fresh!

Alejandra P.

Yelp
I wasn't the biggest fan of their vegan chocolate cake. It tasted to me like boxed chocolate cake you can get anywhere. The cake whiches are really really good. My son loved them. We'd go back for this, perhaps. It's a cute place. Street parking is available. Kinda pricey.

Abbit S.

Yelp
Ordered delivery and it was easy peasy. Those lemon bars tho!! Real deal. The people loved em.

Hillary F.

Yelp
We were shopping in Fairfax and were craving something sweet and this cute and small Bakery was within a 10 minute walk from where we were so we placed an order online which was very fast and easy to do and picked it up within 10 mins of placing it. We ordered a variety of treats from a P&B and marshmallow cake which was soft and gooey, Lemon Crumb Bar was a favorite tart and buttery, Pecan Pie Bar was baked perfectly, cookies were soft baked and had just the right amount of sweetness and salt to balance flavors. Overall we enjoyed everything and we will be coming back next time we are in the area.

Loren G.

Yelp
My dessert stop after dining at Jon & Vinny's. Love their take on the dessert from the packaged nostalgic treats most had as kids. The oatmeal cookie is my go to.

Michael S.

Yelp
Normally not a huge pie guy but this place flipped my world upside down. The cherry almond pie is simple yet so unique at the same time. Definitely recommend this bakery.

Albert M.

Yelp
Love this place everything is delicious! My favorite has to be the lemon bars! Excellent. Everything is fresh and seems to be made with quality ingredients. Highly recommend

Robyn M.

Yelp
Cake n cookie time! Dropped in for dessert, a couple first timers! We got a mini cake, a cake sandwich and grabbed two cookies. Loved the small spot, it has a clean, cute and simplistic vibe focused on recipes and their products. Service was prompt and friendly. Reasonably priced. Metered Street parking nearby. And a short walk from the Farmers Market or the Street Food Cinema. Took a stroll around the block as we sampled our purchases. Saving the rest for later! Very tasty!

Marina L.

Yelp
Everything I have ever gotten from here has been amazing. Usually you end up with at least one dud but not here. Some of my favorites are the gluten free birthday cake.. moist and the perfect balance of frosting to cake you would never thing it's gluten free! Glazed chocolate donut cake slice .. moist chocolate heaven. cake mogul .. chefs kiss looove the little layer of camel inside the coconut cream outer layer. All their cookies are amazing! The mini cakes are perfect for a little celebration and easily feed 2-3 people depending on your appetites. If you need gluten free items both the cakes and cookies are heavenly. You would never know they're gluten free.

Natalie L.

Yelp
DOUBLE CHECK YOUR ITEMS! THEY BAKED A FLY INSIDE MY CHOCOLATE LOAF Picked up item yesterday, it was plastic wrapped with like 5 pieces, was able to enjoy a few slices, cut the rest this morning and to my fu***ng surprise there was a fly! Feeling sick to my stomach! Like super nauseous! Immediately called and was told "sorry, we can refund you" great! But seriously?! This should never happen...anywhere! Beware! This was by the grove on Beverly.

Amber A.

Yelp
I ordered a classic yellow cake with chocolate frosting for my husbands birthday. It was absolutely delicious and be loved it and the customer service was excellent from order to pick up. Highly recommend!

Stephen P.

Yelp
The most amazing Vegan Cakes Ever! They've mastered the recipe for vegan desserts, and my sweet tooth

Kaye I.

Yelp
I've been here or ordered from here a bunch. Coming here for years, since I had a taste of their treats at work. After some were leftover from an event. I couldn't remember the business name and search forever until I figured it out. That's how you know this place Is unforgettably great! I'm surprised I'm just now reviewing them. This is my guilty pleasure location for all the sweetness. Loads and loads of treats for me to feast on. Prices? Not cheap. Treats? Tasty variety! I call this my "Treat yourself!" place. Buying loads of items so I can slowly try them all. Pictures are only minimal because I was tired of scrolling through to find what's basically going to be snacks in a box. I mostly took videos of opening their packages for the socials.

Kelly M.

Yelp
The people are always busy because there's usually only 1 of them working. My fav is the coffee donut or the everything croissant.

Becca D.

Yelp
Really yummy sweets here. I tried a few different things, and my favorites were the brown sugar cinnamon pop pastry and the campfire cookie. I also got the O cookie(I believe that's what it was called?), the hoho-like cake, and strawberry pop pastry. They were all great. What I really loved is that none of them were overly sweet. They didn't leave my me dying for milk lol. They were just right. I totally want to return and try more of their offerings, and I would recommend checking them out if you're in the area and craving something sweet and delicious.

J. M.

Yelp
My new favorite bakery! Love their creative twist on your classic favs and all the variety. Came in one afternoon and was back the next morning for more. The perfect place for when you wanna treat yourself to something special.

Gina M.

Yelp
The pastries they make are adorable you want to buy them all - which practically what I did the first time I went here. Their mini cakes are so nicely presented and decorated. They also have their version of "twinkies" and "ding dongs" and they have all kinds of bars, cookies and loaf cakes/breads. Lots of variety for such a small bakery. Everything was good and what I found exceptional was their lemon bars. A tip I learned from the lady there was that you should let the pastries get to room temperature - it makes them taste so much better than when they're cold. If you can't find parking, which can be difficult at times - you can call in your order and they will bring it out to your car.

Emily I.

Yelp
Yummiest treats in LA for sure! Definitely make sure to try their mini cakes & homemade pop tarts!

Dan A.

Yelp
Saw Cake Monkey on Best thing I ever ate specifically for their Peanut Butter roll so had to try. Small & cozy spot and had some light traffic when I arrived on Thursday around 12:30. Ordered a Black and White Cakewich which kind of resembles a Ding Dong and the el Rollo resembled a Ho Ho. That said, the Cake Monkey creations are a 100x better! Rich, decadent ingredients compressed into a small package with big taste. Only complaint is the Peanut Butter roll didn't have enough peanut presence (usually in these combos there is too much peanut flavor) My Macchiato paired nicely with the chocolate creations. These are "have some now and save some for later"desserts. I saw a good variety of desserts including bars, cupcakes, scones, croissants & multiple vegan options. Service was friendly and I can't believe I missed the Chocolate Babka-Next time!

Gabri S.

Yelp
Not enough people talk about how incredible their coffee is!! The Nutella croissant is IT!!!

Will X.

Yelp
Cake Monkey is a cozy bakery that has a signature mini cake as well as other treats such as cookies, cake pudding, and croissants. We ordered some items ahead of time which they prepped upon our arrival. Summer Camp Chocolate Chip cookie was great. Thin cookie that has a crispy texture from the toffee along with soft chewy pieces and a few big discs of chocolate. The sticky toffee flavor is there as well. Overall good balance of texture and sweetness. Cake pudding is a good midpoint of the two as the texture is soft though structure is cake like. Definitely a bit more on the sweet rice chocolate side but still good.

Arasian I.

Yelp
I'm torn to give a raving review. The service seemed like she hated life. The two items I got tasted like they were from Porto's but twice the price. No frills bakery at best .. I spend about $500 a week on pastries for my clients and I always try to find them new places. Thank God I tried this place first before ordering for my clients.

Dena H.

Yelp
I absolutely love this bakery!!! Ordered off ubereats with instructions for the mini cake type and they followed it perfectly. This is the only bakery I know in the entire city that does 3" cakes. Perfect for date night birthday celebrations and beautifully presented and boxed.

Jason K.

Yelp
This is my go to bakery for cakes in LA. Everything from cake sandwiches (think fancy hostess ding dong), individual cakes and cakes for 100+ person events. Best of all they make a gluten free cake that tastes just as good as traditional flour version, which is a really big deal. Highly recommend ordering ahead off their menu to get what you want. This is the location I go to for drop by orders

Rebecah J.

Yelp
I made the mistake of coming here about an hour before close (can bakeries please stop closing so early!) so their selection was minimal, but everything we tried was still delicious! The Brown Sugar Cinnamon Pop Pie was amazing, it's the perfect version of a gourmet pop tart. With some vanilla ice cream, it would be absolutely perfect. My boyfriend tried the only cookie they had left, which I think was some variation of chocolate chip, and he really enjoyed that, too. This bakery has a pretty unique selection of treats and I'm excited to come back and try more. I am eyeing those mini cakes, so those will definitely be my next purchase!

Leah S.

Yelp
Omg this place is soooo good.... My favorite is there lil merri! The toasted sandwich part seriously tastes like heaven. I am obsessed. I also got their chocolate chip cookie with Rice Krispies and marshmallow which is not as good as the lil merri but still a very solid cookie. This place requires masks even if you got vaccinated so don't forget to bring one!

Yelp
I've always loved Cake Monkey. Even before they had the store location and I had to drive to the valley. Consistently good and always delicious.
