This was a great experience for a special event. The service from the servers was impeccable. They clearly knew all options on the menu, and were able to advise what they all contain and what the experience is like. We were even advised that one of our choices was small, or what they said was "if you are hungry we wouldn't advise this option". We still chose it, and it was delicious, but because we had been forewarned, we were very happy with our choice. Everything we ordered was delicious and beautifully presented. We were very happy

I recently tried their cheesecake, and it was a delightful experience overall. The original Basque cheesecake was exceptional—perfectly creamy with a rich, velvety texture and a slightly caramelized top that added a subtle smokiness. It was everything I hoped for in a classic Basque cheesecake. However, I wasn’t as impressed with their special cheesecake. While it was creative and had a unique twist, it didn’t quite match the balance and flavor of the original. It felt a bit overwhelming, and the flavors didn’t blend as harmoniously as I expected. Overall, it is definitely worth a visit, especially if you’re a fan of the original cheesecake. I’d recommend sticking to the classic for a truly satisfying experience.

Good service. Ok ambience. I had a honey cake - £9.00 for basically two bites of air. It was laughably so. The server, sweetly tried to explain it as if it was special. It was a small cube of something like merengue with some very average compote type thing on top. It seemed people were buying into the place - but it felt high on hype low on substance and ambience. Service was nice.

The staff were not welcoming at all. I stood there for about five minutes, but no one wish to serve me. The shop wasn’t busy, and some of the staff seemed to have nothing to do. I was craving cheesecake before dinner and told the staff that I only wanted dessert. Before entering, I thought they said the minimum spend was £13 per person, but it turned out I misheard—it was actually £30 per person. Who would expect a dessert shop to have such a high minimum spend? In the end, I had no choice but to buy another cheesecake for take away just to meet the requirement, and instead of a proper dinner, I ended up eating the extra cheesecake.

We are regular visitors to Cakes & Bubbles for our ‘girls’ catch ups. As ever the food was spectacular, savoury small plates which we shared and a selection of desserts which were all mouth-wateringly delicious. We were treated to rose bubbles in memory of our absent family member, such a kind and thoughtful gesture. Service from Daniel and Zoe was exemplary, warm, knowledgeable and professional. Can highly recommend a visit.

We had the pleasure of being served by Maria, and she was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we sat down, she made sure we had everything we needed with a warm and welcoming attitude. Her service was quick, attentive, and genuinely friendly, making our dining experience outstanding. Maria truly went above and beyond, and we couldn’t have asked for a better server. Highly recommend!"

For all the Italians and coffee lovers in London: avoid the espresso here. We only stopped for a quick single espresso and it was a mistake. The coffee was watery and cold, couldn’t even melt the sugar in it. They offered to make another one but I didn’t even enjoy the taste so I said no. For £5 I expected better quality. The bar though is very nice and a glass of champagne would have been a much better choice!

Absolutely worth a visit! While the interior might be a tiny bit outdated, the desserts are super delicious. On top we had a world class service experience by Cherlyn, who explained everything perfectly and was an absolut delight to talk too!
