Where to Find Unexpected Flavors in Dallas-Fort Worth | Eater

"Is there an acceptable way to pair Italian food with Scotch? Certo! Olives are a surprisingly terrific complement. The salinity of the olives cuts the depth of the Scotch, making each bite and sip a new adventure. Order Calabrese’s tentazione dell’osteria for a rich spread of aged cheeses, Italian salumi, olive tapenade, and walnut crostini." - Susie Oszustowicz

The food was spectacular. The ambience is gorgeous and I witches Nicola was incredible helping us make decisions as new diners. We just moved to the area and are so excited to continue dining and enjoying all the great food and wines here with five star service and fabulous food. Why would you go anywhere else to satisfy you’re hunger in this area❤️

Google
Amazing up scale Italian restaurant. I booked a reservation for two on the open table app for my wife and I’s wedding anniversary. I put a note in my reservation that we were celebrating our anniversary. From the moment we walked through the door and gave our name we were wished a happy anniversary. 3 different managers made it a point to stop by our table and wish us a happy anniversary. They even gave us a card and had the entire staff sign it! The service was seriously top notch. The staff at this establishment are extremely professional, polite and courteous. They pay attention to detail. Our experience from start to finish seriously felt 5 star the entire time. The food was absolutely cooked to perfection. They have chefs bring your food out to you from the kitchen. We had their fried calamari for an appetizer and it was cooked to perfection. It wasn’t chewy at all. We also got an order of bread and my wife got a house salad which came in a very big bowl and she was fresh as can be and crisp. For our entrees we both had their chicken parmigiana. Once again the chefs did not disappoint. The chicken was crisp and moist and cooked to perfection. They had the right amount of sauce and spaghetti. The spaghetti was cooked perfectly and tossed in the sauce before serving. Perfectly seasoned dish and well balanced. When it came time for desert we split their double chocolate cake. They put it on a plate and wrote happy anniversary in chocolate for us and the presentation was superb. As for the double chocolate cake it was to die for. So rich, so delicious, it tasted like fudge. We both highly highly recommend Calabrese to anyone who is looking to celebrate a special occasion because they will truly make that celebration a special one and a memorable one.

Google
We had a table reserved upstairs for 26 people, and everything was perfect. The service was outstanding, the food was exceptional, and the cocktails and desserts were a hit with everyone. It was truly an incredible night, and the quality of everything was top-notch!”

Google
Excellent upscale Italian restaurant. The interior layout is well decorated and beautiful to behold. The food portions are just right and the food itself is flavorful. The service is also very good. The staff is welcoming and our waiter was attentive and friendly. Overall, it’s a great choice for those wanting a special dinner.

Google
Great and beautiful restaurant. I had the scallops and it was very delicious plate, the potatoes were so good. They do amazing drinks-martinis and margaritas. I sat at the bar and had great service. The bathroom was very clean. Top service for a great price.

Google
My husband and I had a nice time celebrating my birthday. Was impressed that when we walked in the receptionist immediately acknowledged it was my birthday, same with our server, Tyler. Received a very thoughtful happy birthday card signed by the staff. Food was very nice with some room for improvement, coming from a New York Italian, (Calabrian at that) my standards are pretty high. Pasta was cooked nicely. I thought the birthday lemon tiramisu would have been strange, but it was actually really delicious! Definitely recommend trying it! One of our favorite parts of the night was our server, Tyler. We enjoyed his service and conversation. Thanks for making our night special! Will definitely go back at some point.

Google
My Husband brought me here my very first time and I just fell with the food. Everyone was very polite and welcoming. They even welcome. My puppy. Manager was super nice. Came to check on us places clean. I have no complaints and we will be back to visit again… serenity was a very sweet person and stayed on top of our order and the service was perfect..

Google
Had a wonderful dinner with our family there last night. Mario is such a pleasure to be around. The restaurant is always gorgeous and the staff very attentive. Jeremy was our server last night and he was amazing. He was patient, kind, extremely knowledgeable about every ingredient in any dish that we had a question about. Great recommendations on wine as well. Cannot wait to return.

Yelp
Perfect night for our 51 Anniversary! Jeremy was awesome. Everything wonderful, service, atmosphere and food. It had been a couple years since we had been and regret not coming back sooner. For desert we had the tiramasu, but I'm a carrot cake fan and wow was that was probably the best I've ever had! The wines were half off under $200 bottle so that really helped had a Brunello that was fantastic. Thank you again for making our special event memorable
google avatar

Rob C.

Yelp
I had higher expectations for food and service. After thinking about it, nothing really jumped out as spectacular. Sure they had good ambiance, and good waitstaff, but the food as good as it was presented, felt a little kick was needed. Had the Osso Bucco but pork. It was good and tender, but I have had better I feel. And also a better choice of meat would have been veal. Otherwise, it's good. I think trying once may help. In my case, maybe some other time.
google avatar

Yelp
The food is masterfully crafted. The service is so fluid as to be invisible. And the ambiance? Tops in North Tarrant County. A quiet evening for two. A special birthday or anniversary. Just a Thursday night and you're feeling fancy. CALABRESE is a rare local gem!
google avatar

Mariah A.

Yelp
Such a nice place for our anniversary dinner! The ambiance was great. Josh was a gem, he had the best recommendations. Started with the crab cake, followed by a ceasar salad, and finished with the Branzino and spinach! Everything was truly amazing. The anniversary dessert was the finishing piece. Everything was amazing. My husband did a great job picking this place. We will definitely be back!!

Yelp
We stumbled in in here, quite by accident, as we were coming home from DFW and waiting out a major traffic issue on 287. What an amazing place!! Service: impeccable. The staff work together as a genuine team to ensure a pleasant experience for each and every guest. Food: I'm pretty sure I left 20 pounds heavier. And worth every bite!! They have gluten free, vegetarian, and whatever other dietary restrictions you may have. I restricted nothing and ate everything. Dining experience: warm, dark, candle lit, white tablecloths, intimate tables, cozy, immaculate, and all the things. This may have to be a new favorite spot!!

Yelp
Sophiya was an amazing server! Her recommendations were spot on and she was attentive without being overbearing. The Focaccia is a must-have appetizer: crisp crust without toughness, generous toppings, and such a balance of flavors. This plus a small salad would also be a delicious lunch. Zucchini Spaghetti was a gluten-free arrabbiata flavor explosion of veggies. Tomato Mozzarella would be better served room temperature and with a drizzle of balsamic reduction- maybe try in July with farm-fresh tomatoes. The Almond Pear Cake was the perfect ending to a perfect meal. Beautiful venue with wonderful support staff: great splurge for a holiday Monday.

Yelp
Lots of parking--but of course, I went with valet! The atmosphere is absolutely beautiful--inside, upstairs, and out on the patio. Large bar, great vibes, and our waitress was amazing (wish I remembered her name, but she made the whole experience even better!). Now the food? A dream. I had a red sauce pasta and ended up mixing it with some spinach Alfredo--chef's kiss! Every bite stayed hot and flavorful all the way through. They even surprised us with a special celebration plate--such a thoughtful touch! Definitely coming back. Gorgeous space, fantastic service, incredible food. Just be sure to make a reservation--it's worth it.

Yelp
Calabrese is one of my favorite restaurants. I have been for celebrations for my birthday and anniversary, as well as just a meal with friends. I recently had lunch for the first time, at Calabrese. The food was just as delicious as it is at night. There is a smaller menu, which makes it a little easier to decide, but there are still hard decisions to make. I had the Casereccie Pollo. It was the perfect lunch. We also got the bread service. Service, as it is at dinner, was excellent. Our table was checked on at the just the right times. The restaurant is always relaxing and the noise level is low. It is a beautiful restaurant. We did not have wine at lunch, but they have an extensive wine list with excellent wines to choose from. The bar is always a nice place to start, with a delicious cocktail. I am looking forward to a happy hour on the patio in the near future.
google avatar

Yelp
Food and drinks are great here but it's a bit pretentious. Lots of regulars and what seemed like "desperate" singles/cougars looking for dates in my opinion, but we were sitting at the bar. If I do go back, I would get a table in the dining area instead. We did have one bartender who didn't seem too keen to give us as much attention as his regulars. That alone would make me not go back, but the food and drinks are pretty good though.

Yelp
I absolutely loved the OSSOBUCO DI MAIALE . It was cooked absolutely perfect and had amazing flavor. It really hit the spot. The server had a good tempo with us as we were catching up with an old family member. There are some neat sculptures and is a fun and fancy ambiance. Everything was definitely good. They did well

Crystal A.

Yelp
I came here for lunch on a work trip so it was pretty quiet in the afternoon on a Sunday. Sat outside in their enclosed patio which was really nice. Ordered the bruschetta and chicken Caesar salad. Chicken was cooked perfectly. Bruschetta bread was think and diced tomatoes on top were delicious. Only wish they had offered some balsamic vinegar to go along with the bruschetta. While it was still good it would've been much better. A few of the pieces of lettuce looked slightly wilted, but overall, I would return here to eat again.

Yelp
The service is very professional. The owners are very good people. They are respectful and old school. The lasagna is Heaven in a slice. The ambiance is five star villa vibes Italian Royalty vibes. Natalie is the Queen of the Castle! Only knock is the Valet is low tier. If it was me I would replace the valet team with a higher integrity crew this would be the only way to improve a 95% perfect restaurant in my opinion. I can't vote 4.5 star because of the valet. So I'll vote 5 star with asterisk about low tier valet team.

Yelp
My husband and I ate a wonderful dinner here on New Year's Eve. Everything from the atmosphere to the friendly waitstaff really made the experience wonderful. We started our meal with some fresh bread and sparkling water. The bread was really crispy on the outside and super soft on the inside. We ordered the calamari as an appetizer and were not disappointed. The calamari was hot, crispy and flavorful. I've really been craving seafood so I ordered the Cioppino for my main entree. The shrimp were really the star of the dish. So succulent and flavorful. I really enjoyed the whole dish especially the broth and toasted bread. There was nothing left once I finished. To finish out our evening we ordered the almond pear cake to share. The cake was moist and had a strong almond flavor. The pear might be a little overshadowed by the almond flavor but I really enjoyed it and would happily order again. Thank you all for a wonderful date night to close out 2024. We will definitely return in the near future.

Yelp
What a beautiful restaurant, the golden Vespa is just the icing on the cake. Came here for a going away party for our friends and I gotta tell you, this place is nice - great place for a date or a night out with friends. Service was excellent, one of our friends' steaks was just a tad overcooked to his liking but the waitress was sympathetic and offered a replacement - not a big deal, but pro tip - when you're ordering a steak from a "nice" restaurant, order it slightly more rare - like a rare+ instead of a medium rare because that's just the nature of the beast. Anyways, I had the Branzino and wifey got the lobster risotto - service was excellent and the plates went back empty! Wish I would have saved room for dessert.
google avatar

Diana C.

Yelp
Had an Italian flatbread appetizer - it was good! I enjoyed the Italian Prosecco and I'll be back to have an Italian entree but was feeling their steak salad which was yummy. Service was on point and it was a beautiful restaurant.
google avatar

Scott B.

Yelp
Beautiful restaurant and nice ambience. Be sure to enjoy their upstairs swanky lounge. Food was good. The calamari was fried perfectly with a nice crisp. Decent sized piece of lasagna- it came piping hot right out of the oven. The lasagna had good flavor but wished it was more cheesy (no ricotta). Service was ok. Within walking distance of Town Square. We used the free car valet and walked to the shops to catch the amazing Stars & Stripes July 3rd fireworks spectacular at the front of town square. Go for apps and drinks.

Yelp
Delicious food quick service and friendly place ! I would recommend to anyone , be ambience is inviting

Yelp
We've driven by here many times before deciding to check it out and WOW - the inside decor and ambiance is so beautiful. This is an upscale but family friendly establishment. We've dined here on occasion and enjoyed the experience each time. The food is delicious and is one of the more authentic-tasting Italian joints in Southlake. Walking in you immediately greeted upon entry and the service is excellent through the dining experience. Kid-friendly or even perfect for date night - I highly recommend!

Yelp
We had a group of four and we opted for a table in the bar area versus the main dining section. It was very busy for a Tuesday evening but that didn't impact our service or quality of our meal one bit. Our waiter/bartender was Joell and Tony and they took great care of us and made some great suggestions for us to try. We loved every bite and the staff made us feel like we were the only tabletop they had even through the crowd and business of the bar.
google avatar

Trica G.

Yelp
Our first time at this gem, as we celebrated our 14 year anniversary. The establishment carried an elegant and inviting ambiance. It was both romantic and cozy. The service was fantastic and the food was fresh! It was an elevated experience and we will definitely go back. We had Calamari Fritti, split a Branzino Con Spinaci E Granchio, and Tiramisu.
google avatar

Debbie D.

Yelp
My husband, Gary, and I love Calabrese every time we go. We have never eaten anything there we ten't pleased with, and the service is equally extraordinary. I prefer sitting on the patio, because I love light. It is enclosed and climatized, so it is just as comfortable in the heat of Texas summer or the chill of winter as it is in springtime. The interior dining rooms are stunning though and offer people watching. Ciao!

Yelp
Southlake's best Italian treasure. From the minute you walk in until the last bite this place is incredible. I was looking for a fancy brunch spot for my lovely mother's birthday and she has always wanted to stop here. This was my second visit and i am going to make us regulars. Izzy was our server and my new best friend. He was patient and answered all our questions. He explained the carajillo so well mom and I had to try it. So I ordered my picky eater what I thought was a cheese pizza but I didn't read the full description. It looked so good I had him box that bad boy up and took that one home too. It was the QUATTRO FORMAGGI four cheeses, roasted tomatoes, italian sausage, pine nuts. It was fabulous. I am glad I messed up my order and they whipped up a plain cheese pizza for my picky eater. Jason went for lasagna, mom tried the brunch quiche, and I had SCALOPPINE ALLA PARMIGGIANA veal scaloppini lightly breaded, tomato sauce, fettuccine creamed truffle sauce. I want to see if I could get gnocchi made with that truffle sauce it is life changing. It was huge too so I had dinner and lunch the next day. They had a card for my mom and made her favorite dessert Tiramisu. I cannot wait to go back and try something new. Everything on the menu looked so good I wish they had a sampling menu with small bites. Loved every minute of my mom's bday celebration!

Yelp
We received a gift card from our daughter otherwise we tend to forget about this semi-secluded location. We decided to do brunch and we're so glad we did. They have a small brunch menu that is in addition to the lunch menu. Brunch cocktails are $5 for mimosas & $6 for Bloody Mary and Carajillo (see pic- Spanish version of an Irish Coffee"). We decided to sit in the temp controlled patio, which was great. Really cool bar area and general vibe of the whole place. They start off with serving complementary bread, olives, garlic butter, and Calabrian chili paste for your bread. Delicious! We then had the focaccia with Calabrian chilies as an appetizer. It comes out like a flatbread pizza. The bread was amazing - - thin, but soft and chewy. We shared the ORECCHIETTE ALLA CALABRESE (copied spelling from menu) and ended up taking home left overs of focaccia and the pasta. Don't hesitate to share. As a final note, they also offer in house made item for purchase (see pic). We will definitely be back and will bring friends for cocktails and tapas/bites.

Yelp
Cool place! They have their own gardens and the herbs & vegetables are used in all meals. Great service, all wait staff were so nice and knew everything about every dish.
google avatar

Keke K.

Yelp
This place was on my list for the longest time so last weekend quest for the ultimate pasta fix led me here. Kicked things off with the calamari fritti, and boy, was I impressed! The crispy calamari paired perfectly with a sauce that took the dish to a whole new level. Next on the lineup was the raviolo salmone, and it stole the spotlight with its perfect balance of flavors. The smoked salmon filling mingled flawlessly with the rich cheese, just perfect! Now, not every dish hit the mark. The tagliolini gamberi fell a bit short, with shrimp that lacked that wow factor I were hoping for. This was quite bland. But fear not, because salvation came in the form of the divine gnocchi gratinati. Each pillowy gnocchi was bathed in a velvety sauce, topped with savory mushrooms - a true masterpiece! I paired it with red wine but next time I would love to try the bar. The place is captivating with distinctive vehicle art installation. The staff were very attentive and friendly. I would definitely visit again! p.s. what's in the bread/butter that it taste so good!! I had so many and I don't even like bread!

Yelp
Came here for a work dinner while we were in Dallas for a meeting. Coming into the restaurant the scooters scattered around were a cool accessory and decor. We were escorted to our own mini room just to the side of the restaurant ajoining the bar. Our servers were pleasant and attentive for our group of 8. Started off with bruschetta and calamari which were good. I had the Spinach fettuccine Alfredo which was the perfect blend of creaminess, not heavy or watery.

alicia m.

Yelp
Visited this restaurant when visiting from California. This restaurant was extremely delicious and authentic. My husband is italia and very picky about his Italian food so this says a lot. You wont regret it trust me. Our waitress Kyliee was so hospitable and helpful with the recommendations. To top it all off the 3 desserts we ordered were amazing The pear cake, tiramisu and banana cream cheese fried crepes. Forgot to take a picture of our meal.
google avatar

Bruce J.

Yelp
This place is so good I have to write a second review. We love coming here for events, date nights or just a casual meal. I try something different every time we come and they always nail it. The Taglierini Pepati Con Gamberi is my personal favorite, but you can't go wrong with anything. They'll also make special requests not found on the menu. As good as the food is, the service is better. The management is very attentive and welcoming. Well ran establishment all around! I wish I could give it 6 stars.
google avatar

Tj S.

Yelp
Fabulous food, great service. 50% bottles of wine Mondays & Tuesdays Inside is loud and tables are very close together so not very intimate but if you dine on side patio (fully enclosed, heated and quiet). They care about your experience too. How often do you get a call the day after dining to find out if you were satisfied.
google avatar

Cesar G.

Yelp
Came here with my family. It was a beautiful restaurant, ample room and very comfortable. Just the right setting for a nice dinner. We ordered the sea bass and the cioppino, and the pepperoni pizza for the kids. Other than a pinch of salt needed for the cioppino, everything was fantastic. What we liked most was the prompt and friendly service.

Yelp
For years Calabrese has shown up as a potential place to visit, but until tonight had never been. Mostly because DFW-area Italian restaurants are never top of my list since rarely do they reach the bar of what I was accustomed to from my (Italian) mother. Just to be safe, I made sure to order something very different from what she had ever made: TAGLIERINI PEPATI CON GAMBERI along with the HEARTS OF PALM salad. Dinner started with bread which was not the highlight of the meal. The "focaccia like" bread was fine, but the other bread looked nothing like the (I guess) sourdough I see from other folks photos or a rustic Italian. It had a darker brown crust and was tough / chewy in a bad way. The butter was not only minimal but served in a not very functional but nice looking dish. The red (pepper pesto?) was really good and spicy but also a tiny portion. Things vastly improved after that. The salad was delicious and had nice presentation. Sizable / shareable for a side-salad. Really liked the taglierini; shrimp was sizable, plentiful and the pasta was obviously fresh and house made. The sauce could have had a bit more flavor but it was still great. Didn't try any desserts. Ambiance is nice without being "trendy" (a good thing) but I suppose the "Instagram crowd" who value vibe more than food quality could snap a photo in front of one of the (Vespa?) scooters placed at various spots. Service from Josiah was perfect.

Bernadette W.

Yelp
We don't get out much and I've been looking forward to this pre fix V day dinner for awhile! We only had a short wait and from the moment we arrived service was excellent. I forgot to take photos of the appetizers but the burrata was really delicious.

Yelp
Just tried calabrese for the first time and it was phenomenal! Didn't get pictures of every dish. However definitely recommend the focaccia bread, and calamari for apps. Tip, add the calabria peppers to the calamari. They were seasoned and crispified to perfection! I got the fettuccini Verdi Al granchio (I love crab and this did the trick for me), another got lasagna (so good), and then another at our table got the veal Marsala, subbed chicken and put it over angel hair pasta. I didn't try the Marsala, but it looked amazing when it came out! They were so accommodating to our party. Our server, Taylor was the nicest human. Couldn't recommend her enough. She was very knowledgeable. She was happy to answer any question we had due to it being our first time there.
google avatar

Ricardo J.

Yelp
Thanks to our server Jeremy, our first visit here was incredible. It is plenty that the ambiance is classy and romantic, and the food ended up being fantastic, but Jeremy's customer service skills took the whole night up a notch. We started at the bar where we weren't told until after we received our drink order that - oh, it's all day Happy Hour. That wine menu had been slapped down in front of us well before the HH menu. Slightly disappointed in that move. Jeremy turned it around. He pointed us towards our delicious selections to include mussels and a couple of pasta dishes. He also recommended some excellent wine choices. As we were celebrating an event, we also got a free cheesecake with a special message. We loved our visit and look forward to a return.

Yelp
Last night my wife and I dined at Calabrese. We had a wonderful experience. Our waiter, Israel, was extremely attentive and made sure that we had everything we needed to enjoy our dinner. This is the best Italian food we have had since moving to the Dallas area over two years ago. Be sure to try the foccacia bread as an appetizer. The crust was outstanding. The wait staff was amazing and we're happy to let us stay well after we had finished our dinner and dessert. My wife and I are definitely looking forward to returning some time soon.

Sean D.

Yelp
I don't usually leave reviews, but I had to take a moment to recognize Chad Helton, the GM at Calabrese Southlake. During my recent visit, there was a slight mix-up with our order. Chad stepped in personally and handled everything with such kindness, grace, and professionalism that it turned a small hiccup into one of the best dining experiences I've had in a long time. It's rare to see someone so committed to making every guest feel valued and cared for. His attention to detail and warm demeanor made all the difference. Because of Chad and the wonderful staff, I'll absolutely continue to dine at Calabrese and will recommend it to all my friends and family. He is truly an asset to your organization!
google avatar

Kenneth F.

Yelp
I recently hosted a small group of eight people for a special dinner. The Calabrese team did an amazing job. The service and the food were impeccable. The only knock I have is that we wanted to bring a cake in from the outside and they wanted to charge us two dollars per head. We spent well over 1000 on food and wine. Do you think they would not be a stickler for bringing in an outside cake.
google avatar

Nicole G.

Yelp
Gorgeous place and great second floor to reserve. Pasta is delicious. Don't sleep on the pizza... it's amazing!

Yelp
Just discovered this restaurant a purple years ago even though it's been around longer. The food is always good. Great happy hour with some food included. We go as often as we are in the area.

Rach R.

Yelp
Food, service and amazing ambiance. We take all our friends that visit out of town to this restaurant and it's been a hit. Recommend anything on the menu as you will not be disappointed!

Yelp
We went to celebrate our anniversary and our meal was excellent! Hubby ordered the Veal Scallopini and I ordered the Rigatoni con Pollo. Our server Jose was also excellent and was on hand whenever we needed anything. They gave USA beautiful complimentary dessert for our anniversary. We love the atmosphere and decor as well. We will be back for many more celebration!

E T.

Yelp
Service here was outstanding. Upscale Italian restaurant. I was hoping for a more expansive menu but the selection was good. The food was very good but not great. You are paying for the ambience here, not the food. This place could have it all if the quality of the food was better. Desserts were just ok. Beautiful restaurant. Great service. Above average dining but very expensive price.
google avatar

Rafael F.

Yelp
The gods was delicious, the service superb, wine selection excellent. Even for. 2 person table they worked the plates in a way that we enjoyed the dinner

Bhav P.

Yelp
Service and food were beyond amazing and was well worth the drive from garland! 100% would come here again for my next Italian craving. The food was very tasty and fresh.. the ambiance was amazing as well.

Yelp
Just had lunch today at Calabrese! We have been many times and the food, service and experience have always been amazing. Also a great value!

Yelp
I am of Italian descent. Have been in Dallas for 30 years. They service and menu are impeccable. They have dishes that are slightly traditional and then some that are highly artisanal. Do not come looking for lasagna. Come looking for cacio e pepe with actual guanciale instead of pancetta. Quid ink pasta, much more to explore. They even had a venison Ragu on the menu that I'll have to order next time. The owner is an amazing man and very gracious. His name is Oscar. You feel like you're family there, but you're in a high-end upscale hip Italian restaurant.
google avatar

Aaron M.

Yelp
Hands down some of the best Italian food I've ever had! Nice ambiance and the service was great. The drinks and the food even came out quick. The next day one of the managers called me for a follow up, asking how the experience was, and I could not believe they did called me as most restaurants typically don't do that. I would highly recommend this place to anyone! Side note: their crab cakes were amazing and I'm not even a crab fan!
google avatar

Robert S.

Yelp
Food was spectacular, service was outstanding, and the ambiance was upscale comfortable.

Yelp
Had two different experiences here. One inside downstairs and the other outside upstairs. I defiantly would recommend inside, the mood is just better w/ dark lighting and all around good vibes. Their drinks are good and they have an extensive wine menu. Bottles that we like had an average of 200% mark up - we are new to the area so the seemed to be the norm... oh well that's the cost of eating out. We love their bread, focaccia and love their tomato mozzarella salad with heirloom tomatoes, fresh mozzarella cheese, fresh basil and a basil pesto! I have had their Orcchiette Alla Calabrese twice. Its an ear shaped pasta served with broccolini, crumbled italian sausage, slivered garlic, calabria peppers and a bit of marinara. First time I had it - it was out of this world...died and gone to heaven..one of my top meals ever.....and the second time it was not the same - no broccolini and totally different taste. I did ask if they got a new chef and the waiter got the manager and he was very apologetic and didn't know what happened. My husband has had their chicken parmesan and enjoyed it as well as their grilled salmon served with green beans and Calabria peppers, fingerling potatoes and a tasty dill sauce. So happy this is in our neighborhood! Cant wait to return.
