A terrific lunch experience at the unique athens spot. The laid-back, south of the border vibes were noticeable from the moment you arrived. Walk-up ordering is fast and convenient. The menu has many varied options that all sounded delicious. I opted for the El mexi-can burger and banana shake. Prices were reasonable, and the order arrived without much wait. The shake was tasty and not too heavy, which was perfect on such a hot,steamy day. The burger was way beyond expectations! Loved the sauces and fresh tomatoes and avocados. The meat was grilled well done but very tasty. The restaurant is covered but all open air with plenty of fans. There is an uncovered seating area, too. The table we sat at was very sticky. Additionally, there were many flies joining me for lunch. All in all, though, I hope to return to try other things on the menu.

Really nice Latin American–style restaurant! The atmosphere is fun and relaxed, and the decor is super cute—colorful, cozy, and full of great vibes. You can even bring your own drinks, which makes it even better. The food was really good — full of flavor and nicely served. You order at the counter, they give you a number, and then you just sit back, chat, and enjoy. Definitely a great spot to hang out with friends or family. Patio - picnic tables.

went for lunch, ordered chaufa de pollo, and it was surprisingly good, as a peruvian/American i know a good peruavian chaufa and this one did not disappoint, wife ordered some fish tacos and she also enjoyed, tbe chips and salsa were just ok.

Best Cuban inspired place in Athens and has been for years. Still tastes as good as it did 15 years ago, a must stop and eat place while you are in town. Fish tacos are a win, always get the Cubano

This place made me feel like I was at an island shack on the beach grabbing a taco and refreshing drink. It’s cute and very tropical feeling, loved the outdoor seating and the decor. I felt as if I was back in Puerto Rico, yet I never left Athens Georgia. Pricing is reasonable and the food is filling. Here they have soft drinks and natural juices no alcohol.

I'm not usually in this area but someone mentioned it was a good place to stop. We are so glad we did!! The food was fresh, hot and so flavorful! The service was top notch! They were quick, kind and extremely helpful! The atmosphere was very chill. It was a really nice day out, so we sat outside. It was perfect for the occasion!! If I'm in the area, I'll definitely be back!

The Cubano is amazing. The atmosphere is great. The place is decorated so nicely. If you are new, it is difficult trying to figure out where the water is. There are water Spicket all around the facility ( just a fair warning ).
