Chicago’s Most Anticipated Restaurant Openings for 2021 | Eater Chicago

"After two years of waiting, I finally watched chef Chris Thompson open his long-anticipated cafe and salumeria as an industry-friendly neighborhood haunt across from the CTA’s California Blue Line stop, channeling the patience and labor of curing meat to produce what he hopes is the best charcuterie in Chicago; Thompson emphasizes the slow work up front — sausages hanging for months to a year — as central to the exceptional end product." - Eater Staff

Nice L stop. Easy to access. Not to many stairs.

This place is the bee's knees, the cat's meow, the whole shebang! First off, the decor is top-notch. I mean, who doesn't love a good brick wall? And the smell... let's just say it's an acquired taste. But hey, who needs fresh air when you can have the authentic subway experience, right? And don't even get me started on the rats. They're like little furry mascots of the station. It's like having a pet without the responsibility! Plus, they make for great conversation starters. All jokes aside, it's a subway station. It's pretty safe and you can catch the blue line train here.

I walk through the doors at this station twice a day, Mon-Fri. I always feel safe here, especially since the rehab. There are a ton of cameras in the station and on the platforms. The convenience store next door is totally convenient. It's a small station, no elevator. As long as I'm ambulatory, this will be my Blue Line station.

There's 35 people here on the California blue line going downtown there has been no trains going downtown for the past 45 minutes no reasons no excuses this is the most pathetic thing. Uber makes so much money, Supervisors need to get off there lazy behinds and work, if you don't have employees they need to do what they supposed to fill in. CTA is a joke.

It's simple. You go there. You get on/off the train. You leave. Well-lit and doesn't smell like human waste like some other stops so I'm giving it 5 stars.

The station was quiet for a Saturday evening. Clean and well lit. Screens were working and the train was on time.
