15 Places to Buy To-Go Pie Around D.C.

"Double-crusted apple pie is one of Little Red Fox’s most popular bakery items. Each pie, sold whole or by the slice, includes almost two pounds of apples nestled within an all-butter crust. The neighborhood café and market also serves quiche, savory hand pies, and other seasonal pies. Spiced plum pie is also available for now. Order takeout or delivery online, and pair pie with a black pepper maple latte." - Lisa Ruland

Where to Eat Eggplant Parmesan in D.C.

"Little Red Fox excels at dishing up comfort food specials, and this winter, eggplant parm is in the rotation of weekly specials. The eggplant parm is served in a tomato and bechamel sauce and topped with toasted breadcrumbs for $9." - Tim Ebner

First time experience was amazing! Service was exceptional and the food was filling! Definitely coming back to try other items on the menu. Thank you for recommending the breakfast items. 😁

It’s ok. Restaurant name and colors are doing the heavy lifting. We tried 3 sandwiches, only Mountain View stood out with maple bagel. The cappuccino was terrible, I couldn’t finish it. Flat white was better, it covered the disgusting taste of milk. I don’t know if it’s their vendor or this time only.

They were out of a lot of ingredients. The bagel was also mid. They were lowkey doing too much putting all those ingredients on it. Sometimes less is more. Also the name of this place bothers me for some reason.

I stopped by this morning for a bagel, because it was the first to show on Maps. I am so happy it was. I’ve never had Latke and decided to try something different. The Valencia Del Sol, blessed my whole day. It was that good. I will be back. OMG

Tim was very welcoming and helped us get oriented in the new shop! The bagel sandwiches have fun flavor combinations and were really delicious. Such a cute aesthetic inside too. Kind people and delicious food!

Wow, what a delicious bagels. I had the Jetski with pastrami, melted cheese an jalapeños. Prices are a bit on the high end and there is limited seating space inside, but definitely recommended.

Is this a bagel shop or a crematorium? Hard to tell the way the bagels have been coming out recently. Used to be my favorite breakfast spot, but bagel sandwiches should be served in an urn with a last will and testament (they’re burnt and crumbling). Looking forwards to the quality being fixed soon! Update 4/12: another burnt bagel to the point that the egg and cheese are just crumbling apart. Won’t see me being back

So, being the scatterbrained person that I am, I left my bagels behind this morning. Jason kindly put them in an Uber for me so I didn't have to loop back. They are for my Ukrainian refugee tenants who are leaving for Canada next week - they'd never had an American bagel. Thank you Jason and Call Your Mother for your double kindness!
