Portland, Oregon’s Best Breakfast Restaurants | Eater Portland

"Eclectic from start to finish, Cameo Cafe serves a mashup of American and Korean flavors in a diner space with quintessentially funky Portland decor. Cameo is still offering its omelets and hash browns, waffles, pancakes, or other American classics, but those in the know, head straight for the bindaetteok, a massive Korean pancake of veggies, beans, and ground rice, served with bacon and eggs." - Zoe Baillargeon

Visited for the first time today and enjoyed a delicious breakfast on the patio. The pancakes and thick cut bacon were so good. We will definitely be back.

My partner and I are regulars here. We usually Love coming in for dinner, Stephanie is usually our server, she’s great. HOWEVER. WE decided to come in for breakfast since I’d been sure we’d like it. It’s important to mention we were in the far back corner away from most people (as we always prefer). When we were greeted by our server, who was an older woman named Carmen. all seems great until my partners sister called. She answered as we knew it was important and immediately began turning the sound down. She then very loudly and rudely said “turn that down nobody wants to hear that, it’s already loud, I can’t hear and I’m right here” I don’t mind being told to be a bit quieter, the problem was the way she was speaking to us. We got our food to go as soon as it was on our table. We were very sad to be leaving one of our favorite spots that way and disappointed.

This was my 1st time coming here for Breakfast. I had the 1/2 acre of pancakes with strawberries, whipped cream. They have a in house made sauce that paired perfectly with the pancakes(I can highly recommend it). My buddy got the omlet, and biscuit and gravy. They staff is amazing and nice. I will be back.

My family has been going to Cameo for 25+ years. The food is always good. The service amazing and the staff are friendly and great people. The owner is genuine and loves her customers. Nicely run local small business that I will continue to support. I also like that it has a nice patio for summertime outdoor seating by the golf course. The bar is fun for NFL Sundays and has an awesome happy hour menu. Give it a try if you haven’t been here yet.

Great spot! Typical Mom and Pop style food. The staff was so friendly and attentive even with it being crazy busy.

Google
Very solid chowder here on Fridays and a solid burger as well. Chicken fried steak was good although I didn't know one of the things to do with it was put Korean hot sauce on it and will have to try that at some point. The chicken dinner was also a winner. Still need to try some of their Korean dishes here, but I hear they're good as well.

Let us climb into the way back machine and twist the dial back about 25 years. The first time I ever ate at Cameo’s Cafe. It was dated then and it’s even more dated now except it now it’s a little dustier. They are shooting for a kind of elegant yet approachable dining on the golf course type of thing. I spent quite a bit of time on the East Coast, where this is done as if it were part of breathing, and cameo café just doesn’t really do it. None of this would make any difference if the food were extraordinary, but like the decor the food was dated as well. Perhaps if it overlooked a soccer rink instead of a golf course. It might make more sense because I’m afraid that hamburger was as tough and hard and round as a hockey puck. This does not portray the gentile and sophisticated atmosphere I think they might be going for. There is an uprising of great burgers, extraordinary hand, cut fries with that perfect crunch going on in Vancouver. Cameo Café is a place stuck in time, a relic in amber. Maybe they don’t want a younger and fresher audience, but as their old regulars pass away, I would hope that they would test the winds and realize that change is not always a bad thing. With a little training for the chef, great things could be possible. So the burger, was pretty terrible. Chewy and hard and unimaginative, but there was one place that cameo Café did really well and that for me was the service. From the older woman who seems like she may have been there for a long time, waitressing is deep in her blood. She does it like an old cowpoke climbing up into his saddle every morning before the sun rises in the west. She does it almost without thinking,a path that she has walked 100,000 times. I would be willing to bet for a lot of regulars she is the next thing to being family. The younger waitress, possibly under the tutelage of the standardbearer was great too! She was attentive, friendly, and unobtrusive. Revamp the restaurant, rewrite the menu, but do not let go of the staff. Let me also say, I love the fact that they bring you not only iced tea, but a carafe so that you do not run out when they are busy. It is a touch. I have always loved in restaurants. Cameo Café overlooks a golf course, and looking out the window is a little bit like looking out of a spaceship window at a different world. there are simply not that many golf courses in Vancouver. It makes you wonder, but it also gives you a pretty good idea of a major portion of their clientele. 25 years ago, I was not that impressed. If I had been, we would’ve eaten there often over the years but here so many years later, I see that that has not happened, and it’s for a reason. We were not that judgmental in those days. There simply were not that many great options in Vancouver, but times have changed and the food scene here has gotten much better. Cameo café should make a choice to either join the New World or turn the reins over to someone else. Nostalgia… Is not always what you wish it might be.

We sat outside. The place smells really musty like they never dust or clean or wipe down anything. I asked the server about my eggs and sausages because I didn’t see them on the plate, she told me “yeah I’ll be right back. I don’t have six hands!”I will not ever be coming back here and will let others know about my experience. I have never been spoken to so rudely! Spend your money at a nicer cleaner place where the employees are much more polite. I do not recommend.

Yelp
Got the chicken fried steak Benedict today. It was so good I ate the whole thing. I am not kissing you. If you have not been here yet, you got to go. They got a huge patio to sit outside too. Their bloody Mary's are so delicious and they might knock you on your booty too. lol But in all seriousness, this place is the best. Maybe I am biased because I go here a lot and maybe I need to try other places. But whenever I go somewhere else I get disappointed and wondering why I did not just got to The Cameo.

Yelp
Stopped in for breakfast on a Friday morning. Place had several tables full of what seemed be regulars. Waitress was buzzing around with grace as she took care of everyone's coffee top offs and hot food delivery. We ordered from their weekday early bird breakfast menu, which is a decent savings! If you can make it in on a weekday for breakfast, give Cameo Cafe a try.

Yelp
Definitely NOT Vegan Friendly!! They put chicken broth even in an item they call tofu pancakes? We did order tofu style entree for brunch but not anything recommended. I settled for an order of hash browns. My friends got bacon/eggs type and they did not seem to like the bacon. It's chaos inside if busy, and getting a table seemed chaotic as well. Warning about their own seasonings, have beef seasoning inside them, but clearly labeled. They do not even offer milk alternatives for dairy free cream for your coffee. I'd say pass on this place, especially if you have diet restrictions. They cannot accommodate most of them.

Yelp
The Cameo has the best stir fry! I always order this when I come here. Just know they are now using thigh meat instead of breast meat but if you request breast meat, they will substitute. I ordered the Philly Dip sandwich for a change. The Swiss cheese ruined it for me because it was made with processed Swiss cheese instead of real Swiss cheese. However, it was huge as well as my husband's Reuben!

Yelp
My first time there. I dutifully waited by the "Please wait to be seated sign". One server came up from behind me and asked if I was only one person. I told her I could eat at the counter and she turned and walked in that direction. I wasn't sure if I was supposed to follow her or wait where I was so a called after her to ask. She never turned around while she said something I couldn't hear. So, I followed her. She went behind the counter and I walked in front of it. Took a seat. Again, she talked to me while she grabbed a menu, not looking at me. She gave me water and coffee and walked away. I've never eaten at the place before so I studied the menu. A different server came up and took my order. Food was delivered by a different serve, who refilled my coffee. When I asked for the check the server dropped it off without looking at me. I paid with a card. No one said thanks or asked me to come again or anything. The food (eggs Benedict) was fine, but not so good that I'd come back for it. I just wasn't made to feel like my patronage was appreciated, and I get annoyed when people talk to me with their back turned. I can't think of any reason to return when there are other breakfast places with good food and pleasant staff.

Yelp
$60 for 2 mediocre breakfast s. Pancakes hard & stuck to plate. Omelet served in tiny salad plate Tasteless over easy eggs Looked like bacon has been cooked hours ago. We use to get great breakfast at the restaurant something has changed. it's gonna take us a lot to come back to the restaurant again.

Yelp
Kids and I strolled up on a Sunday morning around 9:30, the place is pretty dang full. Luckily there are 2 open tables inside (the hostess offered us outdoor seating but uhhh, it was 40 something degrees so no thanks!) so we chose one and were seated rather quickly. Our server approaches and asks about drinks; I ask for a Bloody Mary while my kids ask about what kinds of juice and milk are available. Our sweet server is an older lady who can't quite hear them, so she leans in and ask for them to repeat the question. This happens again during our ordering of food and when I am checking in about my cocktail. We decide to ask someone else for napkins lol. Our server is nice and friendly but doesn't check up on us but once as she notices our food has been brought to the table ("Everyone good?" she says as she walks past. We politely nod, she's still moving anyway). Oh well. The Bloody Mary is the best I have had, and this is coming from an enthusiast! Over all, the food is good, the drinks are good, the atmosphere is very casual, and the prices aren't outrageous. I'll be back im sure!

Yelp
Looking at the reviews here, I see a lot of indifference vs hostility. Their layout is a little confusing. There's a bar if you go through the right side door at the entrance and a cafe if you go through the left one. Sitting in the dining room felt a lot like sitting at a garage sale with the old white full size piano playing centerpiece to the room, retro lighting and the old phonograph sitting next to a Bunn coffee warmer on a side table. They have a number of booths as well as tables in there. We stood for about a minute before someone saw us and led us to a booth looking out at the neighboring golf course. The little lawn outside is well-kept and pretty to look at. The golfers less so but I chose to stare down my BF instead to see if I could get him to do my bidding without saying anything. It didn't work and he ordered French Toast with bacon and a side of two eggs that he couldn't finish. Lol. I had the 2 egg and hashbrown combo with dry wheat toast. I thought everything was great. BF enjoyed his French Toast and was delighted that the bacon wasn't cooked to a crisp, but just cooked: he way he likes it. Others claim their food could use more seasoning but compared to Carol's Corner, this place is a find. The portions are smaller but they taste better. Bread and coffee are pretty average and you're better off ordering eggs over medium like I did vs scrambled which were a little rubbery. I think Carol's wins over diners by pricing their breakfast a bit lower and offering larger portions. BF's French Toast was almost $20 and my combination was $13.50. The drinks were what pushed the bill to extra at $3.75 each. All in all, I'd come here for breakfast for something close, but not too often as you can make something just as good with a little effort at home. *Returned the following weekend for another #5 which I enjoyed as much as the week before. My bf tried the chorizo burrito which he seemed solid but not great. Sounds like he was exposed to a lot of great chorizo growing up in Texas. I suspect he'll be a French Toast regular. I otoh have a hard time straying from those hash browns....

Yelp
Cameo Cafe is an old school standby. The portions are big and food is pretty good. We went for brunch. Is it the type of restaurant a foodie would be excited about? Probably not, but it was decent. I had coconut waffles with a couple eggs that were tasty. My husband got the corned beef hash but was disappointed. He said it lacked flavor. It had cubed corned beef, not the typical shredded most restaurants use in their hash. The Cameo Cafe is good for groups because they don't tack on extra gratuity, which is a big plus.

Yelp
First things first: PLEASE UPDATE YOUR MENU PRICING ON YOUR WEBSITE! I understand inflation but it was a little shocking to find the actual menu prices are $5 MORE from what they have listed on their website currently. But that aside, to be fair, if what you are looking for is a old school classic diner vibe, this is the place for you. The parking lot is huge so plenty of parking. They had lots of seating variations including round tables for night groups, booths, and small tables, and what looked like to be a private room as well when you first walk in. There is a bar/lounge on the other side too. The floors are carpeted with some interesting eclectic decor. My friend got the veggie omelette and Hashbrowns with sourdough toast, and I got the hot cakes with 2 eggs and sausage patty. On the table you have all the condiments you need and some homemade hot sauce and jam. My hot cake was huge! But unfortunately it was cold and chewy when I expected hot and fluffy, honestly for $19 I really expected more. The service is friendly but we did have to wait a little to flag our waitress down to put in our order. You pay at the cash register by the door on the way out. It did get quite busy as it was a Saturday morning, and like I said if you are looking for classic diner food this is the right spot, but I personally didn't think the price was worth the food I had.

Yelp
Good food, good people, definitely a locals bar. Nice to be able to stop in while playing a round and get a cold beer. Good parking, excellent cheap food from the attached restaurang. Can't go wrong with your local watering hole!! Thanks ladies!

Yelp
Went here for breakfast this weekend. I was a bit dismayed when I walked it. It is old, looks run down and potentially dirty. I might have left but I was meeting friends. Despite the off-putting appearance the servers were friendly and prompt. I ordered the Jerusalem Eggs which were poached eggs with a cream sauce studded with canned artichoke hearts over an English muffin. They were ok, quite bland. I kept adding salt and pepper. I should have asked for Tabasco sauce. The hash browns that accompanied the eggs were fine, but again, under seasoned. The portions were very generous and I took more than 1/2 home. I was surprised to see that the large dining room was completely full and people were waiting for tables. I'm not sure what the draw is. The food was mediocre and the ambiance is nonexistent. Maybe it's for the friendly servers who serve large portions very quickly.

Yelp
Before leaving for Mt Hood kick started my day with breakfast at Cameo Cafe. It one of my cousins favorite breakfast spots in Vancouver, Washington. Cameo Cafe unique in lot of ways. It free standing building located next to 18 hole on golf course. It more open bar with few pool tables, dart board, lots of tv sports on, few tables inside, and really nice patio see 18 green the club house. The weather perfect it was the whole weekend patio area great spot chill. They only serve breakfast/lunch. The food was solid. Nothing crazy look at the menu. Just comfort classic breakfast done well and nice size portions. I got the 1/2 acre pancake with strawberry. It was awesome. Fluffy, moist, and hearty pancake. Service five stars from the minute walked in. Friendly, attentive, and made special drink cousins came up with homemade jams. Service. If looking for breakfast in Vancouver area Cameo Cafe is winnah!

Yelp
I love very close to this place so I keep hoping it will get better. My biggest complaint is the flies that are buzzing around your food and your head. It doesn't matter if it is summer time or winter the flies are always there. The service is fast and the food is good but very pricey. For the money there are better places like Lisa's just down the road.

Debbie S.

Yelp
The service is fast and cheerful and the food is good. My friends had the bacon waffle and raved about it. Worth the trip

Yelp
Just tried this place for the first time over the weekend. We had breakfast here around 9:45 a.m. on a Saturday and they were pretty busy. It got pretty loud in there, too. It's an old-school family restaurant, with aging decor to match, but you don't come here for the ambiance. It's located next to a golf course, and not on a main road, so we had no idea this place was here for the nearly 5 years we've lived in Vancouver. They have patio outside along the golf course if you want to dine outside when the weather is nicer. I love a good family restaurant so I'd like to come back sometime and try them for lunch or dinner. They have a big menu with all the usual American-style family restaurant offerings. I had the ham, cheese & veggie omelette, which was a big (4 eggs), and it was stuffed with lots of ham & veggies and came with toast and a large serving of hash browns which were nice and crispy on the outside. My only gripe about the omelette was the ham & various veggies weren't evenly distributed inside it; most of the ham was on one half and some veggies were only on one half. But in the grand scheme of things, this was a very minor thing. The omelette was so large I only ate 1/3 of it and took the rest home. The Hubs had one of the breakfast combos with a pancake, ham & eggs, which he enjoyed. Their pancakes are huge! The "acre" pancake is the size of a dinner plate, so he had to fold it over in order to cut it and pour syrup on it. All the servers were very upbeat & friendly and whenever one passed by they would pitch in and check in, refilling coffee, water, or take away empty plates, etc. Some of the prices were pretty steep, though. I understand inflation is a factor, but prices at the grocery stores have been coming down again, so hopefully they can reduce some of the entree prices in the near future. Or perhaps make the portions a bit smaller and reduce the prices (like a 3-egg omelette instead of 4). It was $50 for just our 2 breakfast meals, one coffee, and tip.

Yelp
The corn beef hash was amazing. Served steaming hot and in about 5 minutes. Cozy restaurant right next to a golf course.

Yelp
This is where locals meet for food, friends and to catch up on current events. The only downside is the noise level. Being hard of hearing I found it hard to carry on a conversation. Good thing the food is great. I had the French dip, it was tasty and filling

Yelp
Winsome: Umm I'm gonna say that giant pancake I stuffed in my face made me feel Winsome? Don't know if I used that correctly lol. Anyway, coffee sucks, don't go there fie coffee. Sweet diner food the typical. Good service. Tons of parking Bar next door.

Yelp
Every time I eat here, both the food and service are good. I like the atmosphere as well.

Yelp
If you want the best burger in washington. Come to Cameos. The service is excellent. Waiters are friendly and attentive. Definitely give this place a try. You won't regret it. I'll stack their cheese burger against anyone's. Best I've ever eaten.

Yelp
I was in a lovingly grumpy group of guys for breakfast and the waitstaff rolled with the bad banter from our group and still managed to get our very large order exactly right. This is a quintessential aging dinner. It was my first time there but I sense that everyone there are regulars. I generally have a soft spot for these types of places. My egg and ham omelet was fine. It definitely needed a bit of seasoning along with the hash browns. Portions were plenty big. In retrospect I wished I had tried the eggs Benedict or the chicken fried steak that some of my compatriots ordered. I hope to update my review with my next visit.

Yelp
Menu update October 2023 breakfast and early bird. Pretty busy on the weekends. Breakfast not too busy on weekdays.
google avatar

Kelli M.

Yelp
Service was atrocious. Server took my order and then disappeared. Someone else brought my food out. Food was good, but what kind of breakfast cafe doesn't give refills on coffee? I wish I had known because I sat with an empty mug for most of my visit.
google avatar

Frank J.

Yelp
This place is somewhat off the main drag so you'd have to know it was here to find it. I gather the patrons are mostly locals and golfers. Pretty decent breakfast. This is a "nothing fancy" type diner which is to my liking. A family joint mostly although they have a bar off to the side. Abundant portions, tasty, inexpensive and served hot. Very attentive wait staff. Lots of parking. No complaints at all. I was visiting in the area otherwise I never would have known this place was here.
google avatar

Cassidy N.

Yelp
I came here for lunch with a friend and we got seated right away. I came back here to try their Monte Cristo and it was yummy! I like that they included a pickle on the side. They Bulgogi bowl had a huge portion of food. Both of us ended up having leftovers at the end. For the price and the amount you receive, I say everything was worth it. It was very spacious with lots of seating and the service was decent.

Yelp
I have been to the Cameo Cafe probably 40 times over the last 6-7 years. At best the Cameo Cafe is average. It is old, run down, but has an excellent location! It also has a great outdoor patio where there is often live entertainment on the weekends. Anyone that has a serious vision could have one of the hottest places in town for food, drinks & entertainment. I am sure some people like the food but at best it is average and sometimes worse. There is nothing to eat there that would make you go out of your way to go there. At the bar the service is usually very good. Often times there is no waitstaff and you must go to the bar to get your drink anyway. So, you ask why do you go so often? It is like a local "dive bar" but my musician friends bands play there fairly frequently so I go to be with my friends occasionally. So don't go there for the dining experience & ambiance. Go there for the fun! They do have fun there! The entertainment is THE MAIN DRAW! I am going tonight to meet my friends that can sing for Karaoke, drinks and maybe a bite to eat if I have to!

AJ B.

Yelp
I stopped by for a waffle after a Costco run. The waitress was friendly and brewed a pot of decaf for me. After using the bathroom and fiddling on my phone for a while, I started looking toward the kitchen to see if my order was there. My waitress was talking for a long time with a family and then had to cash out the line that had gathered. My waffle was waiting and so were a lot of other orders. The other waitress, with long reddish hair (that would be fun to find in my food), did nothing. Completely ignored the pileup of customers and food. I finally left a $5 for the coffee and walked out, unnoticed.
google avatar

Van C.

Yelp
Delicious food, quick service and easy parking made this place a favorite for me for a while. I thought the kitchen and staff were on point and friendly. Only reason for four stars is that twice out of the five times I went there, I found some sort of fiber or hair in the food. It might have been from the packaging the food was in.
google avatar

Yelp
Great locals spot. Connected up to the golf course so it's nice to stop at and get bite to eat before continuing on to the next hole!

Yelp
Solid morning place if you can get up before 9 am! They have an amazing morning special with things all under $8 or so. I came here at 8 am with a very empty place greeting me. Food: I got the two egg hash brown and toast special and man was it special! It was really fried so it didn't sit the best with my stomach but they had a homemade multigrain bread and jam and the food was really a ton for $7. The eggs I had done medium and were fluffy! Service: Exceptional. The waiter kept checking in on us and was super patient with water refills. Ambiance: A classic casual diner but with a nice homey feel with a piano and nice old decorations. Overall I liked it but a little too fried!

Yelp
This has got to be the best hidden breakfast place in Vancouver! Must try if you have not been here. Not very impressive from the outside. However, lots of parking, counter/booths/tables/meeting room and a separate bar. Usually, you do not have to wait long to get seated. Great American style food with a few awesome Asian dishes on the menu. Try the "acre" banana pancake! It is two pancakes the size of a plate! Best Chicken Fried Steak and best hashbrowns. The servers are all incredible. Most have worked there a long time and are some of the best waitstaff in Vancouver. Cost is very reasonable, and they can seat large groups of people. Now I'm hungry again just thinking about going!!!

Sherry B.

Yelp
Great staff and good breakfast! I haven't been there for years but tried it lately and I was impressed with it.

Yelp
I tried to find something I did not like about Cameo Cafe, but I was woefully unable. In the large parking lot adjacent to Club Green Meadows, Cameo Cafe's building is obviously dated, reminiscent of a 1970s diner, and with somewhat unkempt landscaping lining the front. The interior is also dated, but serviceable. Ambiance is not a strength, until you enter the rear garden, adjacent to and overlooking one of the holes on Club Green Meadows' golf course, it is full of beautiful flowers and tables with large umbrellas ... rELaXeD! We met a friend for lunch on the patio on a perfectly beautiful spring day. Not in the mood for a cocktail from their adjacent bar, we had coffee and ice water instead. My wife ordered the French Toast ($8), I the Bacon Cheeseburger ($11.50), and our friend the Chicken Bento ($11). The french toast's three large, thick slices of texas toast were battered and fried, then topped with maple syrup and sprinkled with powdered sugar. My wife absolutely loved it and at just $8, it was not a bad value. My burger was ENORMOUS, a half-pound of ground beef on a toasted brioche bun along with bacon, cheese, grilled onions, lettuce and tomato. It was one of the best burgers I have had in a long time and a TREMENDOUS value at just $11.50, including the hot, crispy fries. The french fries had a seasoned coating which I have not seen before, but they were tasty and fried to perfection as previously stated - hot and crispy. Our friend had the chicken bento, but I did not mooch a taste although he seemed as if he enjoyed it very much ... HOOAH! The service was very friendly and efficient. They opened the patio for us, cleaning off a table just because we asked if we could sit outside as it was such a nice day. I was a bit hesitant to try Cameo Cafe because of the odd menu, a menagerie of eclectic breakfast, lunch and dinner items, including egg dishes, biscuits and gravy, sandwiches, COLOSSAL soup, fish & chips, and stir fries, among others. I am sure glad we decided to go because the perfect spring day was only that much better, accompanied by a scrumptious, filling lunch in a beautiful setting with a good friend. What more could I have asked for? CombatCritic Gives Cameo Cafe 9 Bombs Out Of 10 ... More Bombs Are Better!

Yelp
Food was good but it didn't impress me enough to want to return the following week. The service was also fair but we felt rushed.

Yelp
The food is ok but the service is dreadful. Decor needs updating as the place feels shabby. Also, the attached bar is a dive.

Yelp
We came here for breakfast based off the reviews, unfortunately a total disappointment! The ambience was confusing. As you enter there's an off putting smell! The restaurant seems to rendezvous as a night club. There's a random piano in the center. It's an odd setup. It was uninviting. The service was unfriendly and lazy. The waitress who delivered our food must've just come back from her cigarette break. As she delivered my food her hands reeked of cigarettes. It was unpleasant especially before a meal. The food was warm but flavorless. I gave this place two stars because my husband enjoyed his French toast. I wouldn't recommend and I won't be back!

We eat here all the . Came in to grab a quick bite and we were lied to and sent away. Stating they were closed. Online and the door said 2:30. It was a few minutes before 2. I don't understand why people do this. You're open until 2:30 be open until 2:30.

Yelp
No frills cafe. A hidden gem in Vancouver, tucked away in a small street by Costco and next to a golf course. A friend recommended this place and we opted for brunch. Hustle and bustle, but the waitress were very attentive. My coffee was always made sure to be filled every so often. Their menu is very unique as they have something for everyone. In fact, they even throw in a couple Korean things in there which I thought was hilarious but enticing. I ended up with their Coconut Waffles with a side of poached eggs and sausage. Holy moly, did it blow me away. Simple, yet everything was delicious as how a true diner should be. Atmosphere and vibe is great here! Nothing fancy, just your friendly neighborhood cafe.

Yelp
Great place! I was driving by and need to have a bite before my next appointment. As I walked in Carmen greeted me and directed me to a booth. Very friendly people, good food and wonderful facilities. The raspberry sauce is amazing!!! There is however, a strange smell right when you walk in. Not sure if it was just that day, but it was a little putting off. It wore off after I sat for a while.

Yelp
We live within walking distance of the Cameo. The food and service is great, aside from one evening server. She's beyond prissy, and condescending. She wears a ponytail and her spine looks as if she's never moved. She's rude and judgmental. This place would get 5 stars from us if not for this particular server.

Yelp
Old diner feel. Friendly staff. I had the Egg Jerusalem. It wasn't bad I couldn't finish it all. They have a good variety of menu items. Will have to come back and bring the kids. Previous posts states nice view of golf course but there's a tent in the way now. Will have to try lunch menu items as well.

Yelp
Very disappointed! We have eaten here a few times and the foods pretty good. Tonight however we sat outside on rhe patio to enjoy the nice weather First there was no patio service. We order our meal at the bar. The Karaoke was so loud the bar tender had a hard time hearing me and I could hardly hear her. Second: I ordered water and was told to pour my own from a pitcher sitting open at the end of the bar. Third: We ordered chicken stir fry. I've had it before and it was good. This time the plate was heaping with cabbage. Don't get me wrong I like some cabbage in my stir fry but thus was over the top. I believe to cover up the fact they had very few other veggies to add.. some of the rice was warm some was cold. We bussed our own table and paid the bill with a very small tip. Instead of trying to be a full service restaurant the should serve a very limited bar menu.
