Cameron's Seafood

I placed an online order for a half bushel each of large female and male crabs. After reading the description on their website about how the crabs are caught fresh and are immediately steamed and seasoned. They’re then packaged and delivered. I was excited to receive the crabs. My order was made on Nov. 23 and I was supposed to receive them on Nov. 28. They didn’t arrive until Nov. 29. There was a delay on the part of UPS. After opening the package I saw the male crabs looked OK but the female crabs didn’t look all that good. Some of the shells were broken up and most of them had the legs and claws broken off with them scattered in the bag the crabs were packed in. I think the female crabs were stuffed too tight in the bag and the crabs got broken up because of this. But that wasn’t the worst of it. I went ahead and steamed a few of the male and female crabs as the instructions said for about 15 min. As I removed the shell I immediately see that the meat doesn’t look fresh at all. The meat was a dark colour. It should be white. The meat had no texture. Although the male crabs were a decent size there was no meat inside them. I’m not sure if the crabs were steamed for way too long or if the crabs were bad (dead) before they got steamed. They tasted horrible !!! Dry, no flavor, not flakey and very very salty. The male crabs were empty inside. There was hardly any meat. Normally there should be a good sized piece of lump meat by the hind leg area. There was none. Barely anything there. Look at the last two pictures. I’m thinking these are bad (dead) crabs !!7 For the price I paid I was expecting something decent according to their website. What I got was trash !!!! Was it because I ordered in November and the stock was low ? Or is this the quality of their product year round ? I am very disappointed with my order. Not sure if I’d order again and see if I get a decent batch of crabs. Not sure if I’d recommend this place to others as well. I hope the owners read this and respond with an explanation.

Was really excited to try this place but veryyyy disappointed. We spent almost $50 on 3 things that were all simply bad. The fish from the cod platter was salty and the fries were stale. There is no homemade sauce only sauce packets. The shrimp tacos are on a corn tortilla and come with no sauce unlike it is advertised on DoorDash. The crab soup barely had any crab in it and was mostly just creamy. We tried to call but they said the only thing they would do is replace the food but we had it delivered because we’re visiting. Very disappointed.

Got a dozen of the blue crabs. They were very fresh, well cleaned and reasonably priced. The different fish appeared to be very fresh as well. Will definitely be back to try more things.

I was better off throwing 150.00 out the window. It was my first time so I ordered standard. Not ONE crab had meat and crabs were cracked. I was literally shipped a bag of shells and small legs! I will never buy from this place again! I will be submitting reviews on other platforms. This goes to show that website design and prices mean absolutely nothing! I’m so upset.

Well im the happiest crab in the sea after going to here today. Im from baltimore and we used to have one there but they closed. I live in dc now. So I had to make my way out Rockville and it 2as worth it. I got 3 dozens of mediums for $50 and they are pretty decent. My mom and fiance both got a platter option which they loved. And the customer service is great. Will definitely be back for all my crabbing needs.

When we moved to Montgomery county from Anne Arundel County I thought..."there goes the seafood" then I found Cameron's. My husband and I have bought everything from crabs, fish, scallops, shrimp, soup, king crab legs, and crab meat! In the past five years I can honestly say I have never been disappointed in anything! We actually stopped there today and spent $400 for a seafood feast! They sell a good variety of stuff and it's always fresh. If you're looking for cheap this probably is not the place for you, if you're looking for good quality seafood then I highly recommend Cameron's.

My family and I have ordered seafood from Cameron’s for over 12 years. We love everything we have eaten. The crab cakes are superb! The Shrimps are delicious. We have had great and fresh fish such as, salmon, cod, trout etc…. All the food is well prepared with rice, French fries, and vegetables. Cameron’s is one of our favorite places to eat.

This location is take out only, there is no seating anywhere. I purchased a dozen mixed crabs, it was $35. I have been here a few times now and it has not been consistent. The cream of crab specifically has not been consistent with different flavors and textures every time I have purchased them. The crabs were fine, small, but for 2 people this was enough, the legs on all of the crabs were overcooked and very dry which I was not expecting. The second time I visited, my crabs were all missing claws which was terrible since some people I was eating this with only eat legs, I was very very dissapointed and should have been told this, though they did put in extra crabs it does not make up for the loss of the legs that some people only eat.(UPDATE) I came back a week ago and the crabs were much larger than I have ever received in the summer. The hush puppies come with 12 and they were really good. The corn was $4 and only came with 2 pieces of tiny over cooked corn (which was less than half of a regular piece of corn) and one of the corn tasted like it was boiled with jalapeños, I would not buy the corn again. I tried out the crab cake stuffed shrimp, I bought it and baked it at home. It was so bland, no flavor except for the taste of bread. I tried to salvage it but it was inedible, they need to put some seasoning inside of it.

Stopped in here yesterday to pick up some cod fillets for dinner. Service was friendly and efficient. The cod fillets were fresh and tasted GREAT when I made them for dinner that night. None of that funky taste and odor that I find in the supermarket seafood. If you don't feel like making your fish at home, worry not because Cameron's can fry up or broil your fish right on the spot. Take note, they don't have any seating on the premises, so this is a strictly carry out operation. The crab soup and fried haddock look fabulous. Looking forward to giving them a try when I return.

As you walk in you cannot help but notice the clean smell of seafood or ocean. You have to order them there. Not over the phone. But it was super quick. We ordered the crabs that they steamed for us with old bay seasoning. Very fresh. They also had other items that I would like to try like their fried items and soup.

Delicious food at affordable prices. It's the best seafood I've had. The fried shrimp has me hooked. You will enjoy it. I highly recommend this business.

Came back here after a few years. The first time we came here, was the first time we had ever bought steamed crabs. We didn't know how crabs were sold and what the difference was between male and female crabs. This visit, armed with a little more knowledge, we bought a dozen crabs. Our appetite is probably 2 to 3 per person. The place was not very crowded. You can buy the crabs raw as well, which we will try one day to make crab curry. The crabs were seasoned well and are a little spicy. We thought the price of seafood here is like Whole Foods.

After a few years with isolating and conflicting schedules, we were finally able to arrange a date for a crab feast with our granddaughter and her boyfriend. Rich called around to check prices for steamed blue crabs. The crab markets near us were charging anywhere from $49 to $75 a dozen for medium. Cameron's were $40 a dozen for medium and large mixed. It turned out that on the Sunday of our feast they had a special of $100 for 3 dozen. When we started pulling crabs out of the bag to start our feast we were happily amazed at how large and meaty they were. There were over 3 dozen crabs and only one in the whole batch was a medium. We ate until we were stuffed and still had crabs leftover. Rich sat and picked them that night and we had leftovers the next night with enough still leftover for a crab quiche. The crabs were perfect, fresh, big, heavy and cooked to perfection. The store is clean and the staff pleasant and efficient.

This review is for people looking for crab legs and XL steamed crabs. For the crab legs, it's not cheap and they push you to get 5 lbs ($100 if I remember correctly), but I'll tell you the legs were so meaty and large, it reminded me restaurant quality size, like the ones I used to eat at Clarions Ocean City MD buffet (sadly it's now closed). I put them in my instant pot and cook for three minutes, melt some butter, and really enjoyed them. It's only one of the few places to get crabs in the Rockville area except for Hoopers crab trucks that roll around in the summer at various Giant grocery stores. Get there early before it gets crowded, as the lines can be quite long. I always call before to see if they have XL crabs, the only crab size I'll get here. On the rare chance they gave XL ($10 per piece) get it! I would give it 4 stars if the customer experience was a bit better. Can be very rude at times and the parking can be a nightmare.

I drove 25 mins away to get here just for them to close early! They closed at 7:40pm when it says they're open until 8pm! I get to the door and see a girl at the counter on her phone and she just shakes her head no to say they're closed. I hate when businesses close early and don't consider their hours listed, people waste time and gas believing the website. And this shouldn't be allowed!!

I'm a fan and will add this to my rotation. I originally went in looking for pompano fish in the market, they didn't have the fish I wanted however I noticed they cook and sell fresh seafood plates. I got an ultimate plate for my daughter and I to share and it was enough for lunch and dinner for both of us and it was pretty good. I'm a native beach girl who's grew up eating seafood all the time (our thanksgiving dinner at home this year was a seafood feast) so it's nice to have a spot near by where I can get a fresh seafood platter and not just crab cakes lol.

A pickup customer for many years, I assume products are fresh. Sadly this was not the case for raw shrimp recently. Overnight in my refrigerator the shrimp were omg bad. The odor required a complete refrigerator clean out. This was partly my fault. Cameron's would not intentionally sell bad products. I should have checked before leaving the store and will do so in the future. Btw- it's too far to make a return trip to complain. Otherwise I would have.

My family moved out of the area two years ago but I was around doing errands and stopped by for some shrimp. It was just as delicious I recalled; tender, perfectly cooked and spiced. I miss this place!

I absolutely love it when you show up to work and show out! On Feb 29 2024, 7:15pm, I had 15 minutes before Cameron was about to close, a little suspect, but something in my gut said " order anyway"! Babyyyyyyyyy my Food was hot and ready, Food was soooo delectable, sooooo flavorful, soooooo juicy! And the Cole Slaw OMG! Y'all I'm sorry I didn't take a picture of my Fried/ steamed, Shrimp but the little Angels in my mouth just did the "Hanky Pants" around in my mouth and wouldn't allow me to get out the Parking lot! Now this is when you get to put a Tip Jar out in the Restaurant! Returning Customer for sure! Thank you for excellent customer service and definitely hats off to the Chef!

A lady just walked out the saying that she got an ultimate seafood platter. When she left they locked the doors and turned off the lights. I knock on the door and the guy said that only have crabs and shrimp. I said that I would like to get 2 fried shrimp dinners. He them said that the kitchen is now closed. They trippin!

This review is only for the spiced shrimp - I've come here for years to eat Cameron's spiced shrimp. Currently, a pound is 20 bucks so pricing wise for the quantity hurts quite a bit and it'd be the equivalent of a meal elsewhere. However, their shrimp has been fresh and juicy, and it's easy to peel. They also put extra old bay on top and provide cocktail sauces. Cameron's is a small store and you basically walk up to the cashier to order what you want fro. Their menu. They offer a selection of both cooked and non cooked seafood. Make sure to ask others if they're in line or not - it can be unclear who's waiting for their order and who's waiting in line. I've never tried the other stuff, but everything is just so expensive that it's deterring me from visiting more often. Also the place inside doesn't seem as clean as it could be, so it might be worth cleaning in case. Your mileage may vary, but when I went today, there were a ton of people ordering as usual!

Great - when the fish is fresh. It often isn't. I have had sensational bluefish from Cameron's at a time when nobody else carries bluefish anymore. But a few days later I bought rockfish and when I took it home, I realized it was several days old. Smelled a but. I cooked it thoroughly and had it for dinner and it was fine but mostly tasteless. If you're buying fish at Cameron's, just assume most of what's behind the counter is old. Be sure yo ask "What came in today?" Maybe call in advance to see what's just come in. They do seem honest when you ask them directly.

My daughter in law wanted crabs for her birthday dinner. I read that Cameron's opens at 9 am on Sunday and I was there at 9 am. Do not go at 9 am, they told me to return at 10:30. They do not have any crabs steamed before then. I returned at 10:20 and they told me it would be 10 more minutes and I could prepay for my order. I paid for my order and continued to wait. At 10:45, they told me that they didn't have any female crabs! Really, after 2 hours of wait time, I just found this out. I do not think this is a good business practice. At 10:55 I received my crabs. I paid extra for large male crabs, but the crabs I received were more medium in size. Why was I paying an additional $50, for medium size crabs? The steamed shrimp I ordered were wonderful. They were huge, juicy, and fresh. They were a real hit at the party. I love crabs and I was really looking forward to this dinner. If you are looking for steamed crabs, I would look elsewhere. They were just okay and not the size I was promised. But, the steamed shrimp are a real winner. They need to advertise that steamed crabs are not available until 11:00. My counter helper, Robert, was very nice and helpful. He kept checking on my order. Kudos to him.

Spot has become a hit or miss over the years. Unfortunately it's hard to know what you're getting until you open up the bag at home - I'm no expert on crabbing season or how crab places work so I try to give the benefit of the doubt to this place since they have to work with what their shipment brings in. I'd suggest coming earlier in the evening to pick up your crabs, and definitely opt for the larger ones if you can! Most of the medium sized ones are watery males that will have you biting into more shell than meat, but there's usually a handful of decent ones here and there. You can, however, always count on the other non-crab seafood at Cameron's. A little pricey but the steamed jumbo shrimp are always delicious and a great pairing to go with the crabs!

We stopped in this seafood market to buy some live blue crabs to take home, and they were a great price and big males! I also bought some meaty crab cakes for my freezer and they look divine. I believe you can order their seafood online. The service was great he gave us everything we needed to take the drive and keep them alive! Recommend.

Cameron's never disappoints. I ordered the seafood platter and the crab stuff shrimp. The seafood platter comes with a crab cake, fried scallops, whiting fish, steamed/fried shrimp , coleslaw and fries. The fish was meaty not much seasoning but still overall good, the fried shrimp were delicious and not full of breading you actually get a large to jumbo fried shrimp . The steamed shrimp were good , however I would've preferred if they were deveined. The crab cake was very lackluster very little crab meat and had some type of shell or something hard mixed in, and was oddly sweet i was not able to finish it . The crab stuff shrimp only came with 1 shrimp , but it was the highlight of the entire meal .

I have been a customer for years and there are some wonderful options.They always have a large selection of fresh fish..often hard to find soft shells, oysters.. be sure and confirm that its fresh. They always have hardshell crabs-quality, price & size of course seasonal. Their fish and chips platter is a favorite, excellent steamed spiced shrimp. Today I had a Soft Shell Crab platter-good ff & slaw. Hard to find and an excellent price.

I frequent Cameron's often. In these days of COVID-19, I requested their Ultimate Seafood Platter (broiled) for my birthday. Happily ate it at home, and their hush puppies are about the only thing I will break my diet for. Their crabs are big and meaty, and the only reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 is that I think their crabs are very overpriced. I've gotten steamed crabs from them at least 5 times this season, and paying $70 a dozen last weekend was ridiculous! But overall, their fish is fresh and delicious, their crabs are, too...and oh, those hush puppies!

Over the years the food has changed DRASTICALLY. I usually order the same things. Either a crab cake sandwich platter, fish platter, snow crab legs, and at one point the shrimp platter. Food use to taste fresh and real. I use to go to the Silver Spring location all the time and the food was just splendid (unfortunately they closed down) . I went on Monday because I was truly craving some crab legs and quite honestly that will probably be the only thing I ever purchase from them moving forward. I ordered a crab cake sandwich platter and it tasted like COMPLETE FILLER and slightly uncooked. The fries weren't crispy or hot and fresh either. More than disappointed then ever before. They don't even pre season the crab legs with old bay anymore, but that's okay because they gave me a little container with plenty to sprinkle over myself (even though I had to ask for it ). I love Seafood and it's flavor, this place is differently lacking now.

Platter of salt... After years of enjoying seafood at Cameron's I'm done. I picked up an ultimate Seafood platter today--Order #44. When I got home, I noticed that the scallops looked odd. Upon tasting the scallops, I discovered that the scallops were so LOADED with salt that they were tasteless and had an odd texture. The crab cake and shrimp were also extremely salty, also. I called Cameron's (Central Avenue) and told them that the food too salty to eat. They said that I could return the platter for a refund. Unfortunately, I have to go to a meeting and don't have time to drive 40 minutes to return the platter so I threw the platter of salt in the trash. The new ownership leaves much to be desired...

What is summer without crabs! I love ordering crabs from Cameron's they can be a bit high but expect good quality, worth the price. A half bushel of male crabs are about $150, a full bushel is about $250. Do not even waste your money on the female crabs, they are way too small. I love the streamed shrimp as well, expect big fresh shrimp with plenty of seasoning. I suggest calling ahead especially during the warmer months, it can be very crowed and everyone wants seafood.

Grew up in Maryland and had the summer time itch for a crab feast. So had a bushel of crabs overnighted to Colorado to enjoy with friends and family. My biggest reluctance was the idea of "re-steaming" the crabs. Just seemed like they would dry out. But that didn't happen. Admittedly the claws are not the same as fresh - there's a little more "stick to the shell" but the body / back fin is spot on. Selected the priority overnight option (which is for sure pricey) but made sure they would be on time for our dinner. So why 4 stars? I like more old bay on my crabs then what this came with. I would suggest adding an option on the online site - like a light / medium / heavy option. And as mentioned, the shipping costs is budget prohibitive. Would for sure do this again.

I bought a "bushel" of crabs on 9/3 and the box was not full. A bushel of crabs isn't a bushel anymore and now at this place a box isn't a box. For the price being charged, in my opinion it should be full. I would check before leaving the store. In the future I will look elsewhere for crabs.

the best stuffed shrimp ever, they must put a half of pound of crab meat on top. one with sides is enough of a meal. a little pricey but worth it, it was a great b day gift to myself, every thing that i have gotten from camerons has been ten stars. cathy

Wide selection of fresh, quality seafood (on display and on menu) at reasonable prices. You must admit that sometimes it's difficult or even impossible to know whether a batch of blue crabs will be good or not. This is because they may look red hot spicy delicious on the outside but quite disappointing on the inside. Besides getting fresh or prepared seafood, they also have cooked dishes like sandwiches and subs. I've tried the fried oyster and crab cake sub (comes accompanied by delicious beer battered fries and coleslaw). Both subs taste great, very satisfying! There's also a lunch special that you can use shrimp, crab cake, fried oysters, fried scallop - or mix and match that's served with fries. It's a delicious steal that leaves you smiling!

Unfortunately for us, the staff seemed rude and unhelpful, prices are outrageous as well. However, the lobster bisque is amazing Could have consumed a gallon of it solo!!

I just want to follow up on my recent review on Cameron Seafood. Instead of complaining, I wanted to suggest Hopper Seafood which makes their rounds around the local Giant food in this area! Check out their schedule and plan for a pick up from their truck cooked right in front of you! They make sure that all crabs are alive before steaming. Never had a problem with them. My family has been going to Cameron's for years and I stopped going about 5years ago until now. I believe it's under a new management and the food is amazing and customer service is fantastic, not to say the customer service wasn't great a few years ago but I wouldn't have given Cameron's Seafood Market 5stars Five years ago due to the food, it was that great. Now i feel the need to stop by and grab a crab cake at least once a week.

Great Crabs! Go before 4pm with your phone in hand (after googling the coupon) and receive lower prices for your food order.

I ordered the Haddock Basket and Cream of Crab Soup and was not overly impressed. First, the haddock portion was terribly small, just a few strips. High marks for the French Fries that came with the basket. The texture of the soup base was consistent and not too thin, had decent flavor, but lacked crab bits and chunks. The service was quick and my order was turned around quickly. The staff was friendly and attentive. In a pinch, I would stop and try again.....however I don't ever see myself "craving" Cameron's Seafood.

went to this joke of a place and ordered 1/2 dz. large male crabs, the dude told me it'll be a mix of medium and large, and I asked, like half and half? This dude impatiently and rudely responded- I don't know, I don't know $22.50- fully expecting me to pay. Child, the devil is a liar! I walked the f out that store so quick..... like the whole audacity! No product info, rude customer service and the whole audacity expecting me to give him my money. Jebisus!!

Stopped in this weekend for a bushel of live crabs. The place was fully stocked with fresh fish and shellfish, everybody spoke English and folks on the phone and at the registers were fast and friendly. I like to order my crabs live because I prefer to cook them myself. You also then don't get stuck with overcooked mushy crabs. I called around and Cameron's had the best prices in the area for a bushel of mixed M/L crabs. When I ordered the crabs I asked how fresh they were ("they came in this morning") and confirmed they were all alive/lively crabs... Unfortunately, I had at least 16 dead crabs in my bushel. I cooked them two hours after I purchased them. I kept the crabs cool, with access to air, so they should have survived just fine once I had them. There is no way I lost 16 crabs in the two hours since they were packed, so either knowingly or unknowingly they put dead crabs in my bushel which was sorted to order. I don't cook the dead crabs because I don't know how long they've been dead. With crab prices being as high as they are, it's a shame to have so much loss. On the upside, the fresh basket was stuffed with about 75 crabs. I liked that I got an actual bushel basket as some places tend to hand me a couple paper bags or a 2/3 full cardboard box and say it's a bushel... but when you get them stuffed in a full basket, you know the quantity is fair. Sadly, we don't have a lot of options in the area for crabs. I guess you just factor the dead crab into your purchase, or after they give the crabs to you sort them immediately in the parking lot yourself and get any dead crabs replaced with live ones. That'd be a pain, but is the only way I can think to avoid it. A live crab will either try to bite you, or be slow and lethargic but still keep all limbs close to his body. When all limbs flop loose like a puppet and even the claws are loose when you open and close them...the sucker is dead. That said, it is one of the only true seafood markets in the area and this is my first time coming by in prime season (summer). The market was a lot more lively that when I've been by in the winter, and as I said, well stocked with seafood. I'd come back, but I think you really have to take ownership for checking the quality yourself before purchase.

I placed an order through Door Dash and upon delivery one meal was not incorrect. I called and spoke with Robert. He assured me that he would rectify the situation by having the meal that was incorrect prepared and ready for my pickup. I appreciate workers like Robert who do their jobs, very well. Thank you.

It has been a hit or miss with this place. It used to have a great reputation but has been declining over the years. We have not ordered from this place in probably 5 years, and now decided to give it a try again, only to be reminded why we had stopped. It's October and the crabs were light and typically they should be heavy this time of the year. The crabs tasted as if they were cooked, then frozen and then reheated. Most of the expensive 1.5 dozen we had ordered were basically shells. The crab meat texture on some appear that the crab was dead prior to being cooked. Very disappointed and will not waste my money buying crabs from here again. There are other crab places that are better quality or the same price. The only positive thing is that they provided good customer service but the crabs were not good quality!

I bought one of their "Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes", what I received was jumbo lump surrounding more than 50% nasty filler with zero lump crab , and maybe 10% mushy claw meat (see pic). I find this deceptive, as they have hidden this nasty filler with lump crabmeat on the outside. Also bought some "fresh flounder" which smells very off. Never again....

I can only hope the in person restaurant food is better than what they ship out of state. As a Baltimore native that moved to Florida several years ago I was extremely disappointed with the ultra light crabs I paid a premium for. The crabs were a father's day surprise for my husband and dad, also Baltimore natives. The only positive thing about the transaction was the order shipped on time and was well packaged. After my husband found out the cost of the "colossal" and "premium large" male crabs he called it a rip off! Needless to say I will not be ordering from them again.

The fish are very fresh. I ordered the flounder platters. They are so good and the prices are very reasonable. The services are always very quick too.

I have not yet had the chance to taste their steamed crabs Bc when we went they only had small female crabs. I got the chance to try their jumbo lump crab cakes. It was decent pricing. It was HUGE & came with very generous sides. Their coleslaw was very good but I think the taste of the crab cakes was too sweet and had a lot of fillings. Oh one other thing, their customer service when it comes to picking up the phone is very very rude. I had to call multiple times in short time frames Bc they always abruptly hang up the phone!

Here it is - a fly in our shrimp - disgusting!! I always thought this place was dirty, but I wanted to give it another chance. No excuse during this pandemic!! We also ordered cream of crab soup, pure gel when I took it out of the cup. HOT soup - this was pure bouillon with no crab taste what so ever. I threw everything in the trash -- $44 worth!! I was embarrassed also because I had guests over. I also think that the customer service is very unfriendly. DO NOT, repeat, DO NOT buy your fish at Camerons!

Horrible catfish and tilapia dinner. Dry and Bland and not tasty at all! They threw the fish in the oil with no type of seasoning, not even cornmeal. I will never eat there and will make sure no one know eats there either.

I feel like anytime before I've gotten more shrimp, today we only got 8. So for the price and what you get I don't feel it's worth it; but they do taste good. The jumbo crab cakes taste really good! Every single time! That's something worth trying! The fish sandwich wasn't great...but okay. Gets busy here. There's usually a wait but your food will be fresh. Bartered fries and delicious! Not a place to come and sit and eat. Defiantly not for you to bring your kids in with you because there isn't much room to stand at and you're going to be waiting anywhere from 10-25 minuets.

Good service but other than that terrible as far as steamed crabs go. I've never had any of their platters. Crab prices were good until we got home and saw illegal sized crabs in our bag and found them to either have been resteamed or sitting out. The meat was grainy and the fat was a paste. Absolutely gross and should be advertised that it's not steamed to order. I should have known something was up when we ordered and asked how long for steaming and the lady says out they will be right out. For anyone who is familiar with ordering steamed crabs they never come right out. Very disappointed.

Excellent! Due to Covid I was missing my annual summer tips to Maryland. I needed a crab fix bad and gave Cameron's a try. I was so impressed with the first half dozen that I ended up having crabs shipped overnight to NY repeatedly throughout the summer and early fall. Never disappointed. The crabs were consistantly fresh, meaty and heavy. Great flavor. Just as good and sometimes even better than while actually dining in a restaurant in MD where occasionally you can get some reheated crabs. Tried a couple other places that shipped to NY and Cameron's is tops. They're packed well too. No messy cooler.

I just arrived to find out they were out of crabs after calling and the staff was super kind and understanding and gave me the remaining crabs for a discount. The gentleman that helped me was very helpful and patient as it was my first visit. I definitely recommend Cameron's for crabs but get here early!!

This is just the experience of one man (possibly the only one from Maryland who thinks crabs, in particular, are overrated). With that said, I LOVE surf! Cameron's is a place I've been going for years and their food always bangs. I just went in to pick up 4lbs of steamed jumbo shrimp and 3lbs of broiled scallops to accommodate some meal planning for the week, and I was handled with fast service and a bit of small talk from one of the many Manesh's (family owned and operated). I've had many varieties of platters, and yes, even bushels from here and have never left disappointed. They move at a quick pace and have you out the door in reasonable time. I believe they have coupons online, give it a search!
