Best Cafes Between Portland and Seattle | Eater Seattle
"One of Tacoma’s hottest new coffee shops, Campfire is located right off the 705. An adventurous ethos marks the vibe here, with coffee roasted over an open fire, a practice uncommon in the specialty coffee world. The results are medium-dark roasts, and batches that each have a distinct profile. Campire’s menu also leans into the outdoorsy theme with offerings such as S’mores lattes, marshmallow cream cold brews, and hot cocoa bombs." - Seiji Nanbu
Black‑owned and rooted in Tacoma, Campfire roasts beans over open flame for a distinct profile. Noted by Eater Seattle and local media, it doubles as a community hangout with outdoorsy drinks like s’mores lattes and marshmallow cream cold brew.
☕ What a cute and cozy spot! 😊 I loved the decor, you definitely get a nature vibe while you're in there. I also very much appreciated the book selection they had. I ordered a almond hazelnut cold brew which was delicious. I also purchased one of their hot cocoa mixes which I'm very much looking forward to trying. I will definitely visit again 🏕️

Really happy with this place! I got a breve which was excellent. Good flavor, not too insanely hot, and plenty of coffee flavor. I also got the meat breakfast burrito. It was a little lacking in flavor other than the cheese, but overall satisfactory.

Campfire Coffee is a must-visit when you’re in Tacoma. The decor is so detailed and makes you feel like you’re camping in a national park. The coffee was delicious and I loved the seasonal options. The staff was welcoming and added to the comfortable, cozy feeling of the shop.
As a fan of rustic and nature-inspired decor, Campfire gives me so much joy. It’s always great to find a Black-owned coffee shop and I can’t wait until I’m able to return.

This coffee shop is so sweet. We loved the theme and all of the decor. There was one kind individual working but they have what it looks to be a great assortment of granola bars and snacks for the road. It doesn't appear to all be made in house but I could be completely wrong on that. They sell drip, pour overs and cold brews. I believe the cold brew comes from a can but they could have house cold brew as well. They have many sizes to choose from on their menu. It is a nice corner shop with plenty of seating inside from the cold or rain. They even have merchandise and campfire bites.
We enjoyed a drip coffee and a cappuccino. They had a nice taste and were both warm which is a good thing. We would return!

Aaaaaaaaaamazing ambiance and great coffee! I love coffee and it’s better when it’s brewed at a BLACK-owned coffee house! I’ll certainly be back to get more merchandise! Thank youuuuu!

This is a cute spot! The chai was pretty good, but probably the most sad bagel breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had lol

Really cute coffee shop with a cute fun camping theme. The coffee and food are both good.
Few things to note: there are no prices on the menu, not enough sitting space for a larger group of people to sit together and some of the menu items where listed as sold out.
The baristas had great attitudes and quickly got our orders around.

We stayed the night near by and obviously needed some morning coffee. Found this place on via Google maps. So glad we came. Great atmosphere and good drinks. Decent selection of prepared food to enjoy while sitting back and sipping on your toasted marshmallow latte, my fav. Definitely a place to stop in.
