A downtown Italian osteria known for scratch pasta, local farm sourcing, and a tight wine list. Praised by local food writers, it’s the refined-but-relaxed counterpoint to the city’s classic red-sauce joints.

Campo Enoteca is a Hidden Gem for Italian Food Lovers We decided to celebrate a special event with dinner and went to this charming Italian eatery in the heart of downtown Manchester. This place is cozy yet modern, and saw variety of folks from date nights to relaxed dinners with friends. Being strict vegetarians, our expectations are low when we go to typical American restaurants, so we usually go to Italian or Mexican or Asian restaurants. This place completely surprised us with majority of the items on the menu vegetarian. We ordered Pistachio Pesto, Butternut Squash Rauioli, Uegan Crispy Cauliflower and the Vegan Broccoli Pizza. Lady gave us bread and spices in olive oil (similar to Carrabba's), which is absolutely delicious. Every single dish we tried is so unique and not even close to anything we have ever tried before. Oh yes, we are definitely going back and this is our new favorite place for sure!!!

Nice cafe , we went there for a quick lunch. I ordered a Greek salad, which was good. I was planning to order fried feta but learned they cook on canola oil, oh well. The salad was a safer option. The dressing for the salad was pretty tasty, felt like lemon and some herbs. Not too many people, so we were able to enjoy our lunch. The extra star goes to the charming lady who served our table.

I have been to this restaurant 4 times in 2 months, trying something new every time. I have yet to have something I didn’t make inappropriate moaning sounds while eating! This is the most amazing food! The atmosphere is upscale casual, prices are very affordable, and the staff and owners are the absolute best! My waistband may rue the day I walked into this hidden gem, but my stomach is in a torrid love affair with their ricotta! Trust me, you need this in your life! Editing to add! As if the amazing atmosphere and delicious food wasn’t enough reason to become a regular here, the drink menu is to die for! Seasonally themed drinks that make you say, hey one more won’t hurt. Or two… I mean, they do have at least 4 on the menu. They’re so good that even if you don’t remember leaving, you’ll remember every sip until then!

Was blown away with the Chicken Carbonara. Right away you can tell the pasta was freshly made and the flavor of the sauce was unbelievable! Highly recommend!

Google
Love it here! Super fresh pasta thats made in House and amazing unique sauces that are really tasty. I got the lobster ravioli it was delicious. I love the oil and bread they give you. The bread tastes so fresh and is chewy/salty honestly the best. Their drinks are great too! I got a lemoncello martini and their drinks on special Prickly Pear Mojito. The drinks tasted great, were inspired, and looked really pretty. One of my fav spots for Italian food!

Our experience at Campo Enoteca was exceptional, and we wholeheartedly recommend this gem to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience. We decided to go all out, indulging in drinks, appetizers, main courses, and dessert. From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. The evening began with warm, homemade bread that set the tone for what was to come. We started with two appetizers—calamari and the house-made ricotta—and both were absolutely delicious, providing the perfect introduction to the meal. For our main courses, we sampled a variety of dishes, including several homemade pastas (Roman Carbonara and beef Osso Bucco), fish (Branzino), and chicken (Chicken Parmesan). Each dish was expertly prepared, flavorful, and beautifully presented (sorry for the so so pics). The portions were generous, leaving us with plenty of leftovers to enjoy later. Dessert was the grand finale—a classic tiramisu that was just as delightful as it was visually stunning. The service was every bit as impressive as the food, if not better. Our server, Kelly, went above and beyond to ensure our night was unforgettable. She was warm, attentive, and incredibly thoughtful, checking in frequently without being intrusive. To top it all off, she surprised us with a candle in our tiramisu to celebrate a birthday, adding a personal and heartfelt touch to an already wonderful evening. Campo Enoteca offers not just a meal but an experience. We can't wait to return!

We had a wonderful dining experience at this restaurant! Not only was the food absolutely fantastic — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented — but we were also impressed by the service. Our server was a trainee, and she did an outstanding job. She was attentive, polite, and handled everything with professionalism and a warm smile. You could tell she was putting in the effort to make our visit enjoyable, and she truly succeeded. It’s always great to see new staff being trained well, and this was a perfect example of that. We’ll definitely be coming back — highly recommend!

Wow! This is all I and my family can say. Delicious! What a delightful find in the midst of downtown Manchester. My family and I had a long day touring the east coast and were looking for an Italian restaurant for comfort food, and Campo Enoteca came highly recommended. To begin, the restaurant is really cozy and comfy, and we were met immediately away by the kind host and led to sit near the bar, which was lovely. The waiter who we had also had excellent service and attentiveness to us. He greeted us right away with homemade bread that was to die for and immediately after told us what the specials where and recommended us many of dishes that we could get on the menu explaining each one , which was very helpful. Our dinner was FABULOUS, homemade pasta, and pizza hit the spot and the delicious Cesar salad dressing along with the other items we got. Finally, the tiramisu was fantastic and undoubtedly one of the best. Also, the owner/manager was quite conversational and nice with us, discussing the dishes they create in depth, which was very interesting, and she even gave us some sample sweets! That was great. Hands down, we would suggest this place. We'll definitely be back! Truly passionate people and good people.

Yelp
Amazing farm to table local restaurant where 3 Californian's we made to feel like family. Come for epic home quality food where your grandma wouldn't even put that much love. Stay for great drinks and calm vibe. The speed at which the cocktails were delivered was the fastest ever Cocktails were amazing we had 3 Home made limoncellos, an old Fashion and another drink called the woodman!? What we had for foods: -Brick pressed chicken, perfect cook, moist and sizzling when delivered -Calamari was insanely fresh. Never had it as clean and fresh as that. -Bread and olive oil which was fresh as so soft it was challenging to stop eating. -lemon sorbet. The lightest and most refreshing sorbet. Foods I wish I had a larger stomach: vegan kale pizza. Really unique. Erin, the general manager is rightly proud of the team and food she delivers. I hope more locals find out about this spot.

Yelp
Local to the area Will not recommend Will not return Thought I was doing myself a favor by going to this so-called fancy Italian restaurant with plates pricing starting at $18-$30 apiece Now this is a giant splurge for me, my husband Walked in the restaurant was very quiet. This is around 3 PM on a Friday night. There was only one other seated table while we were there and that was a Saturday during a downtown shutdown car show. I guess that should clued me in. The set up of the interior restaurant was pretty drab. If you ask me nothing real Italian about it if you call spaghetti sauce, painted walls, Italian. I had previously looked at the menu on yelp and knew that I wanted carbonara and or the butternut squash ravioli. Each of those plates were priced at $25 apiece We sit down at the table in the first thing I noticed are these small cocktail glasses that are stained completely soap scum stained, and you can see that in the photo of the menu if you look at the glass, I tried to clean it off. It wasn't being cleaned off and I wasn't about to ask for a fresh one. I just didn't use it . No, my husband and I drink in the waitress proceeds to come over with a patron bottle with a clear liquid in it now I'm assuming she's pouring some patron. No, don't let that fool you either. They get those glasses from margaritas up the road for free to refill with water because they feel that the thick glass Stores the water much colder than a carafe. Amongst a few more things, the waitress decided to tell us why they use these. We proceeded to place our order and I'm not kidding when I tell you our meal if that's what you wanna call it came out in less than five minutes. We were quite shocked and said something about that to the waitress and she's like oh everything's pre-prepared here and made freshly Well, if that was the case, our meals were not piping hot the carbonara sauce that was on the carbonara was so thick and nasty. The taste was so overwhelming of whatever it is that they use the pasta was so firm that it actually stuck to my teeth and I needed to use a toothpick to pull it off my teeth The portion size as another reviewer also stated was no bigger than a toddlers meal. It took me two minutes to eat it and let's not say don't forget if you want to add a protein to what you're looking at a $70 meal four bites. And yes, my husband when the ravioli came there was five raviolis. If that's what you wanna call them there was no squash stuffing in them. It was as if a back of a spoon smeared squash on the inside you bit into nothing. This was one of the worst places I have been to in a really long time so take warning don't let the pictures fool you the food is terrible

Yelp
Let me begin by stating that I'm an Italian food snob. I've spent a lot of time in the North End of Boston and carbs are my favorite food group. My boyfriend took me here as a surprise "date" because he knows I love to try Italian restaurants that we haven't been to before. Let's begin with the positives (there are actually many): The service was awesome. Our server greeted us immediately, was very friendly, informative and attentive (and had a great sense of humor). The happy hour specials - you don't see this a lot at upscale restaurants but they have great deals on appetizers wine and cocktails until 6 PM daily and since we got there at 5:30, our lovely server encouraged us to take advantage while the deals were hot! The bread and dipping oil and the homemade ricotta appetizer (a happy hour special) were OFF THE HOOK. I will dream about that homemade sourdough bread and the ricotta until my dying day. If I go back, it will be for this alone! The main course is where the wheels fell off. I'm use to big portions at Italian restaurants. This was NOT that. I ordered the home made butternut squash ravioli in the sage butter sauce. There were literally 5 dumpling shaped ravioli on my plate. FIVE!! I'm a little girl with a big appetite, not a toddler. Furthermore, sage is one of those spices that is only good in small doses. This sauce was way over saged. My boyfriend ordered the homemade bucatini and meatballs. Also, a toddler sized portion: 2 average sized meatballs that were "meh" and a small plate of pasta (which was, admittedly, delicious). Overall, it was simply "ok". I won't rush back there but I wouldn't avoid going there (because that bread!!! Yum).

Yelp
Back again for another amazing dinner. The service is exceptional as well. The beef osso bucco pasta was so good. The scallops were prepared perfect in both dishes. Will be back.
google avatar

Yelp
Campo is a cute spot with an excellent vegan options. I got the chickpea ragu. My parents enjoyed the eggplant parm and the Caesar salad, along with the Vermont feta bites.
google avatar

Jodi S.

Yelp
The homemade pasta and bread were fantastic! Chris recommended the butternut squash ravioli with scallops. The scallops were seared to tender perfection and paired with the pasta perfectly. The staff was also wonderful flavor, quality, and service combined to make this a spectacular experience!

Yelp
We came here after we saw some amazing reviews and our personal review is, it's ok. Absolutely nothing wrong with anything, but also nothing blew us away either. Service was extremely slow, I'm not sure if it was purposeful to allow time to enjoy our drinks before the apps, or enjoy the apps before the dinner but... we were there for way too long! Servers were very friendly and helpful with the menu, but also slow as ever. Calamari was good, not great. Carbonara was good, not great. Ambience was good, not too dark inside and noise level on the low side. The best part about our meal was being talked into the cannoli cake. It was pretty good. But again, not the show stopper we were promised. I am definitely going to give it another try, there is a lot of potential and I'm excited to be proven wrong!

Yelp
Hi! I don't post much, but OMG, last minute choice to go here, and had heard about it prior. Excellent dinner tonight! Thank you, totally unexpected experience. Great drinks were recommended, and the food was fresh and delicious, no need to say more. Pomodoro and meatballs, lasagna, caprese, and focaccia. And the staff was incredible, loved them. Please, go! And post your experience.
google avatar

Yelp
I was so looking to stumble across this quaint Italian restaurant! Had no idea that they make their pastas fresh daily and bread too! Started off with a glass of wine and caprese. Yum! Then ordered the Basil Pesto Tagliatelle with pistachios. OMG! This was AMAZING! The creaminess of the pesto sauce with the delicious freshly made pasta was DEVINE! And their sour dough bread with the olive oil dipping sauce yummy too! What a great find for the next time I'm visiting Manchester. Looking forward to trying other pasta dishes!

Yelp
Great spot for meals We love everything we have had here and we have been many times. Great service as well.

Yelp
We came on a Saturday night and sat at the bar. The service there was fast and friendly but the vibe behind the bar was a bit hectic as it was busy in the restaurant. We got a delicious cheese appetizer (see photo) it was AMAZING- pure deliciousness in a bite! Soaked up the remaining cheese and sauce with the delicious bread. We both got craft cocktails which were good. I got the limoncello martini and it was more tart than I expected. My friend got the chicken piccata and said it was fabulous especially the pasta itself. I got the falafel salad and it was yummy and very filling. I'd definitely come back here to try more of the menu.

Diane L.

Yelp
It was fine. Edible and adequate. Had fish halibut special it was dry on the ends but perfect in the middle. Tasted good. Small portions but the pasta my friend had was a larger portion. She liked it.

Rotu C.

Yelp
I don't get it, saw all these great reviews so figured I would try the place. Service was good and price was ok. Limited menu, NO veal dishes? Never been to an Italian place that did not have veal on the menu. had a few apps and the chicken parm, average at best.

Yelp
I went here for a birthday dinner and it was excellent. Food was delicious, drinks were tasty and the ambiance is perfect. Server was nice and helpful.

Yelp
Out of towners here - Second time at this little restaurant and still thumbs up. We like the brighter lights and it seemed a little more spacious than our first visit two years ago. Highly recommend the Parmesan cauliflower appetizer, it was a crowd favorite. For our main course, we opted for chicken Parmesan x2, as my in laws split one dish. It's a generous serving and really plenty for two. I ordered the Pistachio, Pesto Pasta and chicken dish - yummm, it was so flavorful. Even though my stomach could barely eat more, I couldn't put my fork down. Fantastically tasty dish! So good. We four were all too full to try dessert, so no reviews to contribute there. Tip: Make a reservation!

Yelp
Have always loved this restaurant...consistent whenever we went...until this past Saturday. Friend Calamari which has been good and crispy was soggy and limp. Carbonara sauce was flat lacking in seasoning. Pancetta was also tough with gristle. Bucatini very undercooked chewy and tough. So disappointed and surprised as it had always been top shelf. The best thing about the meal was the beautiful bread. Crispy on the outside rubbed with olive oil and flaky salt etc. We are astounded and saddened. We gave Campi Enoteca 1 Star & that's being generous.

Yelp
First time here tonight. Surprise date night. Cozy atmosphere. Food and drinks where amazing. Breads and pasta homemade on site. Portions perfect. Staff very courteous. The Expresso chocolate mousse was the perfect desert to finish with. Definitely made our will go back list

Catherine C.

Yelp
The food! Great specials. Always great specials. The regular menu is super yummy too. I got two appetizers. The one with cauliflower and the spicy feta. I could not stop eating them but I had to share so I calmed down. The drinks were creative and they had non alcoholic ones too. It was fun. It is my fav in Manchester. The service was the best. The group hadn't seen eachother in a long time so we were talking the entire time. The server was super patient and stayed low key. Super appreciated them
google avatar

Claire H.

Yelp
Phenomenal restaurant! The restaurant was super busy, so my partner and I sat at the bar. Bartenders were friendly and service was quick! The restaurant is cute and quaint. The bread served is a fresh house-made sourdough. I got the butternut squash ravioli, which tasted sweet and savory, but more like pumpkin than squash. The caesar salad was great with a delicious parmesan dressing. The dessert was my favorite part- espresso chocolate mousse!
google avatar

Mike R.

Yelp
The food was incredibly bland, no flavor at all. Service was so-so. Decent ambience, but that's all you get.

Jean B.

Yelp
Wow amazing food and service. I was in town on business, and I am so happy I stumbled upon this place!
google avatar

Stuart H.

Yelp
Excellent. Service was top notch. Great food, mine was the awesome Moroccan lamb. It did get a bit loud but that is what you get for open floor plan with lots of hard surfaces. But it made it sound like everyone was having a great time!
google avatar

Kaylee V.

Yelp
The service was outstanding, everyone was very nice! And the wine selection was great. But I got the butternut squash ravioli, it was cold and undercooked and way too sweet of a sauce. My husbands lasagna was better but overall the proportions and prices didn't match up

Alisa S.

Yelp
I went here following my graduation as a group of nine diners. The service was attentive and friendly. The food was great and flavorful. We all had different entrees from lasagna to seafood to chicken! All delicious. And the drinks were good too. I tried a spicy drink that I didn't end up liking and it wasn't a problem to change it for something else. Thanks so much!

Lisa J.

Yelp
Another fantastic experience at Campo Enoteca! Food was fabulous and the arancini was the best I've ever had. Atmosphere is warm and cozy and staff is friendly and attentive. The owner checked in on us and even shared a sample of their house made Limoncello. Delicious! We cannot wait to go back!
google avatar

Yelp
This place is a must for every time we race in New Hampshire. Great menu and spectacular food.

Pauline G.

Yelp
Had New Years day dinner here tonight with family and it was amazing. Our appetizers were great, all 6 of us loved our dinners and the desserts were amazing. Our waitress was so attentive and treated us like we were family. Will be dining here many more times in the future

Tina B.

Yelp
Best pasta dishes...food quality is very good! Also enjoy their weekly specials and drinks...

Dorine O.

Yelp
Homemade bread and pasta. Reasonably priced and delicious. Location is good right on Elm St in Manchester. Open for lunch and dinner. I highly recommend the cauliflower appetizer and the carbonara. My partner loved the pasta primavera. Check it out. Service was wonderful and ambience is casual.
google avatar

Maria E.

Yelp
This was one of the best meals we've ever had. The food was incredible and the staff was amazingly accommodating and lovely paired with a wonderful ambiance and atmosphere. As a farm to table restaurant, we were so incredibly impressed by the depth of flavors and the pairings chosen. We would highly recommend the lemoncello martini, (lemoncello made in house), feta bites for an appetizer and the Osso Buco pasta entree. Ricotta cheese as well as the pasta are also made in-house and it completely shows (melts in your mouth, truly perfect al dente). We also had the monkfish special for the evening as it was fresh caught that day, and it was utter perfection. We were visiting from Salem, MA, and consider ourselves foodies, so we were so thankful to find such an amazing restaurant. It's truly a hidden gem. A must stop. We will definitely be back!
google avatar

Theresa S.

Yelp
Really top notch flavors, pleasant atmosphere. Nice attention to food sourcing. Will go back.

Joe R.

Yelp
Stopped in for lunch today! Service was incredible, Tuscan Chicken sandwich was awesome and the fries were the perfect blend of flavor, salt and crispiness! Will definitely stop in again!
google avatar

Ashley H.

Yelp
The food is fresh and delicious! I've tried a variety of dishes there, but the "pistachio basil pesto tagliatelle" is phenomenal. The service is always great and attentive. The ambiance is relaxing and comfortable.
google avatar

Crowden S.

Yelp
Very much a worthwhile place to dine. We've interacted with two different servers, the owner and one of the bartenders - all very personable, fun and friendly. The one thing that isn't always made clear is that this place is actually two prior places smooshed into one. And the menu has two sides which reflect exactly that dichotomy. One is a farm to table sort of thing and the other is very much an Italian (but no traditional red sauce Italian) thing. They're both quite good although overall I prefer the Italian offerings. They claim their vegan "meatballs" are really unique and delicious and you know what? They are! Not sure how they do it but they've nailed both a great texture and flavor. The servings are definitely generous, especially anything with pasta. Their wine list is heavily Italian and the servers know what's what with the offerings if one is unfamiliar with Italian wines (as I pretty much am). I've only tried the olive oil cake among their desserts and it's a treat. A cross between savory and sweet, but leaning to the sweet as befits a dessert item.
google avatar

Michael P.

Yelp
Amazing food, drinks, bartenders, and atmosphere! This is definitely a place to visit if you're in Manchester.
google avatar

David S.

Yelp
This is the third time that we have enjoyed a great meal at Campo Enoteca. It never disappoints, everything was great again. The service was perfect, our waiter was great at explaining the food and the wines available. We had fish cakes and polpetti along with the hose made bread for our appetizers. We had three different pasta dishes which were all very good. We finished with cappuccinos, chocolate mousse and German Chocolate cake.
google avatar

Jason B.

Yelp
I can't believe I'm giving this place 2 stars! The waitresses and bartenders are great. After the place sold and came under new management tho things aren't the same. The food is like they're truly trying to maintain the old quality but it's not working out for some reason (( the new manager is awful compared to the guy they had for so many years. Hard shoes to fill though because he was truly exceptional.
google avatar

Leah B.

Yelp
Went to Campo with my mom and aunt last night to celebrate a belated mother's day. Newly re-opened, it lives up to its previous excellent standards. The feta bites and falafel & hummus were great starters. The vegan crispy broccoli pizza was ah-mazing, even to this non-vegetarian! The polpetti was just the right creaminess and spice. The Moroccan lamb ragu was well balanced, with perfectly cooked saffron rice and a spiced (not spicy) tangy and sweet stewed lamb. Along with the excellent meal, we had amazing service. Our waitress was lovely and attentive, and the manager went above and beyond. We were heading to another activity in downtown Manchester, and forgot my mother's cane. The manager, who knew where we were headed, took the time at the end of her shift to find us and return the cane! Campo (and their sister restaurant The Republic) has long been a favorite, After our special night and the kindness we were shown, we'll be back again and again.

H W.

Yelp
Delicious farm to table. Took family out for a birthday dinner there and even though it was a Tuesday night, there was some nice live music playing, which added to the atmosphere. Everything we had was delicious. Service was great as well!
google avatar

Donald S.

Yelp
The best farm-to-table I've ever been to. Campo Enoteca is simply delicious, plain and simple. The process to achieve this? Not so simple. These guys have been serving downtown Manchester for a few years now, and as always it seems I'm late to the party. Campo Enoteca is Farm to table Italian, everything scratch made. From bread and pasta to bases and sauces, it's all homemade and hand crafted. The carbonara is an absolute hit, a hearty bowl of perfectly al dente pasta. Carbonara is known for being rich, and this is no exception. The bread is soft and chewy, on its own great. A dip it in extra virgin, perfection. Did I mention a $10 pasta + salad lunch special? I'm in no way claiming New Hampshire to be some sort of culinary revolutionary, but one thing they do do well is organic and farm to table. It honestly does make a difference in the quality of the product. Oh and there's the whole supporting your local farmers thing...but who am I kidding? I just want the good stuff inserted into my belly, regardless of origin!
google avatar

Isaiah S.

Yelp
I have always loved this place and was happy to see that Republic had conjoined their menu with them. Everything here is extremely fresh and you can tell the quality is unmatched. The owner and waitstaff are all extremely welcoming and kind. It is a quaint place which adds to the charm. Will always come back.
google avatar

Lisa S.

Yelp
This place never disappoints! The C&C cocktail is so fresh and yummy. Their Romain salad is the best caesar salad we have ever had. The fresh ricotta and bread was delicious. I have had many different pasta dishes and never a complaint. Fresh pasta that tastes amazing. I wish I had room for dessert! The portions are a good size and the price doesn't hurt at all.
google avatar

Kendra L.

Yelp
I love going here! The bartenders and managers are great! Whoever in the back is making the mushroom white sauce for the Polpetti is probably the love of my life! Also the atmosphere transports you to the Old Country... or at least out of Manchester! You will never regret a night at Campo please say the Enoteca!!!
google avatar

A J.

Yelp
Visited New Hampshire and stopped in. Would highly recommend their Roman salad, however, the pizza was a miss and the carbonara pasta was average.
google avatar

Shannon M.

Yelp
Get the fried eggplant!! I was here in April while I had a family member in the nearby hospital. I sat at the bar and was so impressed by the food. I've been thinking about the eggplant ever since and am happy to report mg family member is healthy, and I'm back again to celebrate!!
google avatar

Lindsey S.

Yelp
Sadly this place was Meh at best. My husband and I ate here years ago and remembered it being delicious but I think it has changed owners since then. They started us off with bread which was delicious and then we got the aranchini for an appetizer which was also really good. Crispy outside with a creamy sauce so with that we had pretty high hopes for our main course which sadly did not come close. My husband got polpetti with meatballs and I got tagatelli pesto with chicken. He thought his tasted not fresh, like it had been sitting around. It was dry and underwhelming. Mine looked good but sadly had zero flavor and the chicken was shredded and mixed in which I thought was strange bc it just made it dry. We had both really been hoping for some comfort food and this did not fit the bill.
google avatar

Jennifer D.

Yelp
I was so excited to see that Campo was purchased by a new owner. First couple of times there were great! One evening, I went out with a friend who is in a wheelchair. Toward the end of our meal, another waitress told us that we were going to have to LEAVE. The wheelchair was in the way of a large group coming in. The owner did nothing to help accommodate us to a different spot and simple said he would speak to the waitress. So disappointing...another one bites the dust.
google avatar

Todd T.

Yelp
Excellent dinner. I got the pistachio pesto Tagliatelle. It was awesome. We shared the red pepper feta dip, really good. Next time the cauliflower appetizer looked great. Staff was outstanding!

David M.

Yelp
Get the Branzino(sea bass with bone in) you cannot find many places that serve something like this! Service was quick and drinks were strong and fabulous! Erin and Kelly thank you for making our night so special, atmosphere was fantastic! A must try!!
