Yelp
We've been coming to Campos Market for many years. It's go to for hard to find produce like cactus and papayas. Besides the fruit, there are all sorts of interesting finds, so if you are going for the first time, trust me, take some time to check out all the aisles.
Starting from left to right, the first aisle has cookware. Ever seen clay dishes, pots, and cups perhaps from Spanish Novelas on Telemundo or Univision, yeah, those are in stock.
Looking for a wood crafted tortilla maker, they have it.
Maybe you need a pot. ( Not that kinda pot ) but a pot to cook chicharrones, yeah they have that too plus the paddle to boot.
There's all sorts of spices and chilies and hot sauces. I would recommend the El Yucateco Mayan Recipe. Yum!
The next aisle over is baking goods, canned goods and of course tortillas. I do miss the Casa Valdez tortillas as they were really good.
The next aisle over is Mexican candy and all sorts of Mexican drinks. Sweet!
The last aisle is homeware and personal care.
There are three freezers where you can find fish, octopus, and sometimes goat.
Then there's all the fruits and veggies.
The meat counter has everything ranging from Skirt steak to Sausage to chicken and more.
There's a refrigerator full of beer and other drinks then there's.......
An eatery. You can order food and eat inside or take it to go. On the weekends, it super busy so either get there early to get a table or get there late and take it to go.
It's as legit as you are going to find in the Treasure Valley and my only gripe is that it is not really stocked with Mexican sweet breads as it should.
