Canary Cafe

Cute tiny cafe with great interior. Food is light and more on healthier side. Large selection of vegetarian dishes. They put effort in preparing the meal as well as presentation and serving. Barista was a very nice girl, with reasonable suggestions when I asked for help with menu. They have a filtered water standing on a side of a bar to get free water which is convenient. Personally I do not usually eat this kind of light food for lunch but a person who invited me there seemed to be a happy regular. Music was not loud and can have a conversation easily without yelling, which becoming a rare luxury in small cafes somehow. Overall, pretty nice place. I’d say perfect for people who likes to have a healthy lunch and enjoy the beautiful interior.

The berry French toast was tasty. We ordered for pickup and it didn't come with syrup on the side, nor was it clear if there was any already on the toast, but that was perfectly fine because it was still flavorful and definitely the preferred alternative to it being drenched. The berries were fresh and sweet, and the three slice portion was solid. The Swiss cheese and mushroom crepe was pretty good. I loved the texture of the crepe, smooth and light without being dry. I was less a fan of the sauce on top which was advertised as lemon but tasted rather like mustard. Maybe I'm crazy. In any event, it was a very strong flavor and I wound up scraping off quite a bit. The portion was appropriate. I'd try the salmon crepe next time. I also ordered a decaf honey rose latte which I fully enjoyed. It was aromatic and tasty, and well but not overly sweetened.

One of my favorite go-to cafes in Williamsburg!! The coffee they serve is phenomenal, esp after they switched to Letish. Don’t sleep on the crepes!! They’re my favorite.

Obsessed with this cute little cafe! Had the best breakfast wrap and crepes here the other morning. Not to mention my flat white was *chefs kiss*. 10/10 experience !!!

Extrême cute coffee shop in the Heart of Williamsburg. The staff is really friendly, and it is really fare priced. Computers are allowed, even during week end, and the atmosphere is really intimate and great. Just took a tea and a coffee but the food look really tasty. Really recommend!! Also they have cute books 📚 we can read, and a lot of plants, which brings a nice atmosphere.

I love this place and the cozy vibes! Their breakfast choices and the actual food are delicious and freshly made. I also had probably one of the best cups of coffee in NYC here. Absolutely recommended if you like a stronger, dark nougat-like flavored coffee (their roast is amazing!!!!

The food was good but not what I was expecting. The description said thick Texas toast and that was definitely not Texas toast. That was regular slice bread.

Really pretty & modern cafe serving delicious salads and even crepes. I love stopping for an açai bowl after the gym. It’s also a great spot to work from if you’re a freelancer, good wifi & decent amount of seating 💛

There are food options ranging from savory or sweet and variety of drinks to choose. I do wish i could buy the coffee so i could take it home to make but pretty sure the quality and the taste would not be the same considering what i had at this new spot for me. The coffee was strongerrrr then i expected and had one of the richest tastes. Came back for a second cup within a few hours i should have spaced it out to the next day but im around only so often. The manager Dilara was arm and inviting and make the experience personable. Wish more shops were like this and served coffee with a smile but thats what makes this place interesting. :) Deff a place i could sit and drink coffee all day considering the ambiance and the warmth.

Stopped by for a quick brunch with delicious lattes. My favorites were the Chicken Sandwich and the Rose Latte. Both lattes weren't too sweet, which I really enjoyed. However, the crepe batter was interesting. - Chicken Sandwich - Blueberry Pie Crepe - Rose Latte - Matcha Latte

Cafe canary was a pleasant visit with so many surprising dishes. Everything was splendid. Even the drinks were delicious. I recommend you to get out of your comfort zone for this restaurant and try something new. Had a great time here with timely service and a great comfortable ambiance. Will be back for some more good vibes

Such a great experience eating here for lunch on their opening day! Cafe Canary has lots of delicious crepe, sandwich and bowl options. Their coffee is amazing! The outside is bright and inviting. Inside you're met with cozy vibes, upbeat music, lots of colorful pillows and plants. Staff was so kind and generously offered me complimentary samples of their sweets. Excited to return!

What a charming cafe. Love the decorations. I got the Honey Rose Latte and it came out very pretty and also tasted pretty too. My daughter got a Green Tea Latte and it was delicious. Not too sweet. The fresh squeezed orange juice was made to order. Which I really liked. The Bacon Omelette and Toasted Chicken Sandwich were excellent. The Blueberry Crepe was perfect to finish our meal. Our server was super kind and helpful. But remember there's no bathroom in the cafe!

Had a great breakfast in our last day in Brooklyn. Many gluten-free options! Our son enjoyed the gluten-free French toast with berries! The 3-egg omelettes were huge-the perfect size before flight back to California.

small cafe in South Williamsburg. warm, clean and well-maintained. fair amount of seating for people working on laptops and chatting. got an Americano but was told or charged the wrong price -- the coffee was just okay. mundanity often finds me without a plot in Brooklyn

Adorable neighborhood coffee shop with delicious breakfast and coffee selections. A wonderful, well thought out menu that I had trouble deciding what to order. Decided on the Aegean wrap, fresh and delicious and a good size that filled me up. Could have saved half for later, but alas I finished it and loved every bite.
