Upmarket seafood eatery with raw bar, whole fish, crab, lobster.

"The premise here is “seafood of the most pristine quality and widest variety.” This means the restaurant receives shipments of lobster from Maine, king crab from Alaska, snapper from the Gulf, and locally sourced seafood. In the Market Fish section, look for shrimp from Texas, flounder from North Carolina, and ask about the fresh catch that can be grilled, broiled, blackened, or sauced to order. Pair it with an excellent gumbo or their signature chargrilled oysters to keep things in the South." - Su-Jit Lin

"This seafood spot specializes in raw bar favorites like oysters and shrimp cocktail as well as boiled seafood platters, whole fish entrees, such as a pan-seared red snapper, Maine lobster tails, a king crab platter, and even steaks. The Vinings location relocates to Galleria on the Park in 2024 and a new location is opens soon in Brookhaven." - Eater Staff

"A second location at the Modera complex on Roswell Road in Sandy Springs, C&S Seafood and Oyster Bar offers menu standards like chargrilled oysters, lobster roll, and prime New York strip steak for lunch and dinner; open for dine-in service with masks highly encouraged." - Beth McKibben

"Opening a second location at the Modera complex on Roswell Road in Sandy Springs for dine-in service, the restaurant is using pandemic-era safety measures such as QR-code smartphone ordering to minimize time spent with servers and tables spaced six feet apart; it does not appear to offer takeout. Menus feature the brand’s lunch and dinner standards—chargrilled oysters, a lobster roll, and a prime New York strip steak—plus raw-bar selections, daily entrée specials and desserts like crème brûlée. The concept began in Vinings nearly 15 years ago; owners Rich Clark and Jon Schwenk closed a Roswell (Etris Road) outpost in May after four years due to the pandemic but moved forward with this Sandy Springs opening, and they also operate Hugo’s Oyster Bar in Roswell. Reported hours are Monday–Thursday 11:30 a.m.–10 p.m.; Friday 11:30 a.m.–11 p.m.; Saturday 5 p.m.–11 a.m.; Sunday 5 p.m.–9 p.m." - Beth McKibben

"Opening in the next few months at the Modera complex on Roswell Road in Sandy Springs, I learned that C&S Seafood and Oyster Bar, owned by chef Jon Schwenk and Rich Clark of C&S Restaurant Group, will specialize in raw-bar favorites like oysters, shrimp cocktail, and seafood platters as well as whole-fish entrées, lobster, crab, and steaks. I also understand Schwenk plans to tweak the menu from the Vinings location to incorporate food “discoveries” he made while traveling, and that the bar will include a large bourbon and whiskey list along with cocktails, beer, and wine while catering more to the late-night crowd." - Beth McKibben
