Atlanta’s 2024 Eater Award Winners | Eater Atlanta

"A former dumpling drop-turned-pop-up operation that built a following via social media and pandemic-era parking-lot sales; now known for beautifully made dumplings and a broader slate of Chinese home-cooking offerings. Typical items include frozen pork-and-cabbage potstickers, char siu bao, cold garlic chili oil noodles, Cantonese sticky rice, and Cantonese-inspired fried chicken sandwiches, and the proprietor teaches dumpling workshops at local venues. Frequent pop-ups around the city routinely draw lines out the door, though the business is currently on a break." - Henna Bakshi

This store is really great .. has a lot of candy and chocolate varieties. Kids would love to be here and just pick up lots and lots of candies

Stopped by CandyLane and picked up some PEZ and cherry gummy bears—BIG MISTAKE The PEZ tasted so bezerk , I genuinely have no idea how they had the audacity to sell that to me. Unless you’re getting mainstream stuff like Skittles or Hershey’s, expect candy that’s hard as a rock, like legit tooth shattering. And To top it off, I paid $12 for what amounted to a handful of tiny pieces. The place itself? Let’s just say ‘warped’ doesn’t even begin to describe it. It reeks of old feet and is far from a pleasant experience. Save your money and your time.

I bought some freeze dried candy that tasted horrible. It was hard, tasted stale, and got stuck to my teeth. I went back to go return it, but it turns out they don't do refunds. Also, the other candy that they sold was more expensive than candy at other stores. Honestly, bad experience. Just save your money or go buy candy from a generic gas station.

Google
I would giver zero stars if I could. This was a terrible experience, I went in and got some zotz, 2 bags of Hi-chew and a poppin cookin set, my total was told to me as 9$ and when processing the payment held my card the whole time which was odd and then later when I checked my bank account I was actually charged 20$!!!!! Not going back ever!!! Not cool!

They have an amazing selection and everyone in our family found something that they truly wanted. They even carry freeze dried candy!

A little over priced but good candy

It's an average candy store. A little bit put off by the hard selling of the beverages. Sometimes you just want to buy something you don't want to be asked a stupid question about what you want to drink with it.

Let me start of my review by saying, I am part of a food reviewing group known as Food Bytz, and I loved every aspect of this store. Let me tell you why. This place has all the best candies, including sour belts, Licorice bites and chocolate almonds. I have shopped in of the best candy stores, and none compare to the amazing service and goods of Candy Land Dallas in Galleria mall. The employees are nice and know the stock very well. I recommend the chocolate shoes, which exquisitely fill your taste buds with joy! The employees are thoroughly helpful and will provide you with the best service possible. One thing I would not recommend however ( this is just nit picky) are the jawbreakers, they are a pain to eat. In conclusion, Candy Land Dallas is the best candy shop in Dallas, if not Texas, because of their huge variety and helpful employees. Yelp
I don't recommend this store at all I GOT SCAMMED. I bought fun dips a and there was no powder. Like what is a fun dip with out powder a plain stick I can go buy that off Ebay if I really wanted one

Yelp
Licorice nibs are bite-sized pieces in red or black that are meant to appear to have been cut off of a larger twist. I know this because I looked it up. In all references, it is suggested that the nib should have the same flavor and texture as one would expect from a twist. So this is what leads me to assume that the candy I purchased from Candy Land must be old and stale. The red and black nibs are inedibly hard. They are dental-work-destroying. No amount of sucking on them softens them to any degree. They are completely trash. The licorice snaps were the same. One bite and the candy shell broke off the licorice, which was also hard as a rock. The Good & Plenty sized licorice was a bit better but still harder than it should be and the smaller-gaged candy coated licorice had more crunch than chew. The candy here is old and stale and way overpriced. I will never purchase from here again.

Yelp
( i would give zero if I could!) I went in there and only got two bags of hichew, some zotz and a poppin cooking, I was told my total was 9$ they held my card for the entire transaction which was very odd and when I later checked my bank account they had charged me 20$ instead!!!!! I will not be going back! Not cool!!!!

Yelp
Great candy store to get all of your hard to find favorites. They carry the big individually wrapped lemonheads that you can't anywhere.

Yelp
Gross Gross and more Gross... I took my kids in to choose some candy and there were a bunch of teenagers in the store I saw 2 of the teenagers put there hands in the candy bins and move the candy around with there bare hands.. I went to tell the manager in duty and he said he knows it's a problem but nothing they can do...

Yelp
I travel to Galleria Mall quite often for work, and almost every time that I visit, I end up buying candies for my kids and sometimes for myself. They have a wide variety of candies, but the best part is their availability on a plethora of chocolates. I dont plan to ever stop coming here.

Andrew C.

Yelp
We go to candy land whenever we are at the mall. Nice store with wide varieties of candies and chocolates, including nostalgic ones. Chocolates are always the ones that ends up in my carry out bags.

Yelp
My kids and I are great fans of chewing gum. They had great varieties! This candy store will take you back in time to your childhood and you'll be able to play old memories at the same time build new ones with your children! Highly recommended! For the entire family! Will definitely be back!

Yelp
I buy candies and chocolates for over 5 years. Awesome quality and is less expensive than the candy store at North Park Mall, I used to buy from. Their sour belts and chocolate covered nuts are awesome. I love chocolate almonds and cashews.

Rebeca S.

Yelp
Yummmmmm!!! My son loved the sour gummies. The selection was great. Customer service was super! Will definitely come back!!

Yelp
One of my kids (and ours - won't lie) favorite place whenever we go to Galleria Mall, which is about twice a month. Kids love the sours, candy belts and stuffed animals while my wife and myself are lovers of chocolate pecan caramel patties and chocolate almonds. The mall overall is very good and kids love doing ice skating as well.
