Cannavacciuolo Café & Bistrot

The 3 of us spent a splendid lunch at this Bistrot. Abundant fun and creative plates. We had the blind tasting menu with 7 plates, but in the end, I think we had like 11 plates. We had an aperitif, a bottle of rosé, and cold, spiked coffee. The bill came to 120€ and a super full belly per person. The restaurant was tastefully decorated and the chairs were very comfortable which was important for a 2.5 hour meal. The terrace was amazing but was close at lunch due to the heat. The staff was knowledgeable and professional; the masks were always on. We will visit again.

At the café: What you get in the plate is definitely a 4+ (tasty, creative, good looking). The decoration is rather on the poor/austere side, not welcoming and far from being cosy. I’ll give it a 3-. The service is truly poor, far from usual Italian warm & welcoming hospitality. I’ll give it a 2. Hence the global note of 3. It is a pity the renomé of the famous chef has no side effect on the level of service.

Only visited for coffee and croissant however both were good and service was fine

I celebrated my 23rd wedding anniversary today 13/06 2021. The service was good, but not excellent. Unfortunately, the waitress totally forgot our requests. At the beginning, I told her I didn't like fish and the first dish they brought was with seafood 🙄. Then, we ordered the wine test and they forgot about it. When we were in the 6th dish, we asked the sommelier what happened with the wine. He didn't know anything. Communication breakdown breakdown occurred within the staff.

Perfect Easter lunch. Wonderful menu, including some extra appetizers, very welcoming staff, a true high class dining experience

Forse una giornata no, ma abbiamo mangiato più male che bene. Siamo abituati a questo stile di cucina quindi non si può dire che stiamo esprimendo un giudizio negativo perché cercavamo altro. Deludente. We enjoye fine dining but objectively and unfortunately we did not eat well at all at Bistrot, which is quite surprising given all the hype. Maybe a bad day for the kitchen? I would not go back to test this theory, so many excellent restaurants in Northern Italy to return to, this one can just get archived as a bad memory.

Fine and Good food, to many mosquitos, but the the pasticceria was limited. To 3 option for a chefs like him it was not what I expected.

In the heart of the city, priceless for amazing breakfast! Restaurant is a bit pricey but i can recommed to try their menu at least one time.
