This is an actual brewery, with brewing equipment right in the front window. But it’s also a very laid-back beer bar, with a seating area in the front with couches and room for dogs, pool and shuffleboard tables, and a few high tables spread loosely through the space. You can get beers in different sizes, or a flight of tastings. I had a 12oz Plum Ginger Gose, and my partner had a 4oz taster for “Just a Small Piece”, a very dark, sweet and strong beer.
I enjoyed the beer, but honestly it wasn’t so incredible it warrants a five-star rating. What does, though, is the relaxation of the place. You can sit down, play a board game - either bring your own or use one of the many games they have on hand. I found the whole experience very enjoyable because of this relaxing environment. I’d love to have such a quiet place closer to me, to enjoy regularly.
