I had such a great experience during my stay at the Canopy by Hilton in Austin. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the front desk agent, she was absolutely amazing! Friendly, professional, and made check-in a breeze. The valet attendants were also fantastic, courteous and efficient, and my vehicle was retrieved quickly each time. The room itself was modern, cozy, and thoughtfully designed. I especially appreciated the stylish décor and the high-quality shower amenities that made winding down at the end of the day extra relaxing. Overall, a fantastic stay! I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in Austin.

From the very beginning to checking in and checking out, Ana & Kathleen made our stay comfortable and memorable. They were very welcoming, friendly and accommodating from the moment we walked into the front desk. Their exceptional customer service far exceeded our expectations! Not only did they make us feel like VIP guests, they made us feel like friends. Our room was ready before anticipated thanks to the housekeeping crew. Check-in was smooth and efficient and we were even offered a complementary welcome drink. We will be staying again at the Canopy in Austin! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great hotel experience.

Canopy |The stay at the Canopy Austin Downtown was great. We were celebrating our anniversary so the complimentary champagne at check in was perfect. Otelia was so nice. She was professional, friendly and thoroughly explained all the great things about the stay. She also recognized our special day and gave us an upgrade. We loved the pool area and our stay was awesome. We will definitely return.

Google
My wife and I live in Austin and urgently needed a pet friendly place to stay. Hilton Canopy has been a great choice. Valet and front desk were just great. Not over the top, but definitely welcoming, knowledgeable and made us feel safe. The courtyard is relaxing and Verbena has been a dining choice long before we stayed here. The amenities for our dog were surprisingly good. While we aren't here for vacation or for business, it has been a very nice place to stay, rest and disconnect.

Google
Diamond member honest review of a Memorial Day weekend 2025 stay. Do not stay here if you appreciate quiet, water pressure, or a comfortable bed. Pros: Location and proximity to the Capitol. Cons: - Very poor water pressure on the 6th floor. No joke, only one of the shower head settings even worked the pressure was so low. Be prepared to take a long shower. - Noise. Granted it is 6th street, so take this with a grain of salt. When you arrive to your room, you are greeted with a pair of earplugs on the nightstand! This is a bad sign. The room is mostly concrete and hard surfaces. Sound just bounces around and if you are a light sleeper, plan on falling asleep around 2AM. There are blackout curtains in the room, but there is also an uncovered window behind the clothes hanging area, so light is going to come in regardless. - Uncomfortable bed and pillows. The bed was unreasonably stiff and the pillows were not very good. - Humidity in the room. There was a surprisingly high level of humidify in the room. The furniture had bubbles and water stains. Now I understand why. We filled the ice bucket, and by the next morning, the puddle of condensation around it filled the bottom of the tray it was in. Any glassware that had ice in it, had a puddle under it within seconds. - Parking is valet only. The rate is $54 per day. You can valet for less as a guest at the Waldorf Astoria in Vegas! No joke, it was $45 at the Waldorf just last week.

The hotel itself is beautiful, but if you’re hoping for a restful night’s sleep, this is not the place. Loud music blared well into the night(3AM), making it nearly impossible to relax. I also didn’t feel entirely safe during my stay. To their credit, the hotel seems aware of the ongoing noise issues—they provided earplugs, a tiny white noise machine that didn’t help much, and sleep strips for your tongue. It was a nice gesture, but not enough. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning.

Absolutely AMAZING! The hotel, the staff , the location, the restaurant! Everything was great ! They think of Everything!!! We were so relaxed and so comfortable ! Arnoldo the manager was so accommodating and friendly! Our waitress Olivia was so sweet and attentive!! As well as all front desk staff and the valet ! Great food and service all around from the entire hotel ! We will be back ! Definitely recommend staying here when in Austin 😊

Google
Pet-friendly gem in the heart of Downtown Austin! This hotel is perfectly located right in the middle of the action. It’s truly pet-friendly, which was a huge plus for us. They even offer complimentary bikes—perfect for exploring the city. If you’re into nightlife, the bar scene is just steps away. Pro tip: Don’t skip the hotel restaurant—chef’s kiss! The food was incredible.

Yelp
Another 5-star experience at the Canopy this year and the majority of the credit goes to the staff! The Canopy is in a great location downtown, but it is the extraordinary and friendly service by the staff who make you feel so welcome and feel like family. They are ready to step forward and meet your every need! Special shout outs go to Otelia and Rachel at the Front Desk. Rachel responded quickly to my texts before arrival to make sure everything was in proper order and she was at the desk to welcome us with a cheerful greeting. Otelia, again this year, also outdid herself! I met her last year and she was one of the main reasons I booked the Canopy again for this visit. She is just exceptional and is a credit to the Hilton chain. A better employee than Otelia, I believe, would be hard to find. The happy hour champagne welcome starting at 3pm is also a nice touch. The rooms are specious and very clean. I chose a room on the back side this time as the music from the bars on 6th street are pretty loud (until 2am on the weekends) per my last experience. Although there is a bar on the back side, it was not as loud or disruptive. The Canopy provides ear plugs and a white noise machine, but we did not need them on this stay. When I return to Austin, I will choose this Canopy location again. It is just perfect, which makes for an enjoyable stay. Hats off to the entire Canopy crew.

Yelp
I love this hotel. It's very well appointed. I would definitely stay here during the week when the music is not so loud like it is on the weekend (the room comes with complimentary earplugs). I do recommend this place if you have friends who want to party and be in the middle of all the downtown clubs. I can't recommend it for a retreat to relax. The beds are supper comfortable and I really enjoyed my long hot showers. The Nespresso machine in the room is a nice touch. The lobby has many nooks and crannys to sit and relax. There is a pool table and a very nice small workout facility. The pool area is so quaint and cozy with seating to look over 6th street. I do like this place. I stayed at the Canopy in Reykjavik Iceland also and I highly recommend that location.

Yelp
There's a Canopy by Hilton in my city and I have enjoyed staying there for a staycation, so when I found this location for an upcoming trip to Austin, I was really excited. The location is prime, within walking distance of tons of bars, restaurants, and entertainment, and a short drive away from most attractions. We Ubered a lot and I liked that Sixth street is one way so we never had to run across the street to be picked up. The hotel has a bright and airy atrium and a beautiful restaurant with great happy hour. The employees we interacted with were all polite and gave us a recommendation for a late night snack. We were offered complimentary canned water upon arriving back to the hotel after sight seeing, which was nice. There was a filtered water/ice dispenser on our floor, which we utilized in the 95 degree heat! Speaking of the heat, the pool was a big part of my choice of this hotel. It's pretty tiny, but luckily it was never that busy when we went and always got a chair. They have some shade umbrellas and a bar which we enjoyed. On to the noise - yes, it was pretty loud with a huge bar located next door. Friday and Saturday nights were the worst, but I always sleep with earplugs anyway. They also provide earplugs, chamomile tea, and a noise machine which we did use each night. If you're a light sleeper, this is probably not the hotel for you. If I get a chance to visit Austin again I wouldn't hesitate to stay here in the future.

Yelp
What an excellent stay! Check-in was super quick and we were greeted by the friendliest employee. I didn't catch his name but he was kind, helpful, and is the type of person who makes everyone feel like a VIP. We were offered complimentary champagne at check-in and they had fresh baked cookies in the lobby as well as infused waters. After leaving the belongings in the room, we hit up the happy hour at the restaurant next door and everything was excellent there as well. We did ballet parking since it was cheaper than the nearby parking garage. You text and they bring your car, and ours was ready in less than a minute. Seriously a perfect stay, wouldn't change a thing.

Yelp
Pros: Excellent bright, cheery, extremely accommodating, kind staff :) Located in a central downtown area. Nespresso Machines that make nice espresso. Stylish rooms and lobby. Pretty restaurant next door (Verbena) that partners with Canopy you can order room service to. Cons: Room are very small. Barn Doors between bathroom and room so not a ton of privacy if you're sharing. Booming music that vibrates the walls at night on the weekends (Staff is clearly aware of this and gives guests herbal tea and ear plugs).

Yelp
I can't say enough good things about this boutique beauty, Canopy by Hilton Austin Downtown, and greeter Otelia, who didn't just check me in when I arrived; she made me feel at home. It can be a bit scary when you are alone in a new city, carrying lots of luggage and not really sure where you are. The hotel and Otelia really went out of their way to accommodate me. I requested early check in, since I got to the city before check in time and had nowhere to go. Without even batting an eyelash, Otelia helped me out. She also provided super helpful information about local food and attractions. (Sandra Bullock's restaurant Walton's Fancy & Staple is right across the street and is so good - check my review on that here for more info - you can also see it from the hotel's rooftop pool in the pics I attached here). Fernando at the front desk went out of his way to help me find an early-morning local place to eat, he even walked outside with me and pointed me in the right direction. From the beauty shot perspective, Hilton did a fantastic job - check out my shots of the lobby, everything is set up with great photos in mind, and some parts of the lobby even felt like you were stepping into an art gallery. Even the hallways smelled good, think it was orchid or coconut scent, similar to pina colada, being pumped in. And then, other times, I thought it was orchids I was smelling. Regardless, everything smelled good. I also really appreciated the filtered water and ice machine on my floor. Great in-room accommodations: Bigscreen TV preloaded with Netflix (just log right in), Tubi and much more. Complimentary tea, ear plugs, body wash, lotion... even a sound machine by the bed. Room was very modern - love the unfinished floor with area rugs and super modern bathroom fixtures and tiling. Beds were fresh and fluffy! Beautiful art throughout the hotel, and feels like every little detail everywhere you go has been closely examined by the staff. Next time I'm in Austin, the Canopy by Hilton Austin Downtown feels like home.

Yelp
Centrallly located to the bars and nightlife! They have valet parking for $49. The food at the hotel was great! They have happy hour for those of status. I'm a diamond member and enjoyed the sparkling wine! The room and bathroom as adequate size. The pillows remind me of the temperpedic ones I have at home! Great bar hopping area!

Yelp
Canopy by Hilton is a great spot if need a place in Downtown Austin. Greeted with welcome champagne. The lobby has pool table and cookies. Received upgrade from standard room to room with a "patio". The bed was very comfortable and room is spacious and modern. The bathroom area has a barnyard door to close off if you want privacy. They also offer earplugs, tea and noise machine in the room. It certainly may be needed from some rooms facing sixth street on a Saturday. Pool like many rooftop pools is very small but nice to kill an hour, cool off and get some drinks. Parking is $50 valet only. We parked in a public secure lot across the street for $10. Did not try the on-site restaurant but the bar makes fantasic espresso martini. We stayed for a concert. When we came back from the show our room smelled very heavy of pot. Someone was smoking in a room. It very strong that my wife could not stay the night in that room. I called and they were very fast in moving us to a new room. They also gave me $50 f&b credit on top of my diamond credit I noticed. They proactively did this. I did not ask for anything nor expecting anything. Just a room move. People smoking is not soemthjng they control. But none the less was appreciative and ended up covering the cost for all our drinks at the pool and restaurant.

Yelp
Unacceptable level of noise and vibrations from nearby nightlife make this a DO NOT STAY HERE review. The hotel provided earplugs are insufficient to cover up the noise and bass. It's too bad because it's a beautiful, modern hotel that was incredibly and thoroughly clean. Great hotel, unacceptable location.

Yelp
We stayed here for a few days just before New Year's Eve. Well appointed design and great location! The rooms are spacious and design is modern. The interior courtyard of the hotel is lovely and if you had the choice I'd recommend a room overlooking the courtyard. They have a restaurant on site and we had a dining credit so we tried it out but I wouldn't say it's a must visit.

Steve K.

Yelp
Do NOT stay here! All you hear is crappy music being played super loud from the bar across the street, that has nobody in it! I called the lobby person and requested another room and she told me to use the ear plugs they provide. Why wouldn't they disclose this when you book the room? This is a bad way to run a hotel business. Do NOT stay here!!!
google avatar

Yelp
The hotel itself is beautifully styled, and in a very convenient location for night life. The staff was nice and there were nice touches like infused water dispensers and cookies in the lobby. However - the BIG con for me was the amount of noise. Being right next to some night clubs, and apparently having paper thin walls, can make it very difficult to have a quiet night's sleep, especially on Friday and Saturday nights. The hotel tried to help out with this by providing ear plugs, sleepy time tea, and even a white noise machine. It's clear they know that this is a problem and that they tried these small measures to address it, but unfortunately it's just not enough. Also, our view was of a back alley with dumpsters - a less than ideal experience...
google avatar

Yelp
Reserved a corner balcony room and was happy with the cleanliness, the updated furniture, and the view of the city. Also like it was more or less in the center of a lot of bars and restaurants. Only major downside was the noise...guess there was a reason the room had a white noise machine and earplugs. All for staying up all night partying and bouncing around bars but if you try and go to sleep before 3 am, the 2-4 bar/clubs right next door will literally vibrate the room to keep you awake. Overall, nice clean establishment. Just wish the rooms were a bit more soundproof. But that's what you get for choosing a hotel on 6th street.
google avatar

David C.

Yelp
Great right from the start. Oralia welcomed us with a glass of sparkling Wine, and a free upgrade to our room. Fantastic, spacious room with one of the best showers I've experienced in a hotel. The noise in the evening, being on 6th street, was loud. And entertaining. We put the noise maker on, used the ear plugs and it was no problem. The pool is small but very nice. I was disappointed there was not food/beverage service there. Service and food quality was very good at Verbina. We had drinks there and took advantage of Happy Hour. The burger and fried were delicious and the 3 cheese flatbread left me wanting more.Fantastic gem in the Hilton line up, just be expecting some night life.

Yelp
Very good location. Though, a 4 star, the rooms did not meet 4 star expectations. The property was beautiful and well maintained though and the location is hard to beat. Centrally located and great for first time visitors!

David Sonya C.

Yelp
Wow! I've never had such good service at a hotel! They are incredibly welcoming with free champagne, hot drinks and cookies in the lobby. They had my name greeting me on the tv in a scrolling screensaver design. It's all newly renovated and has a very nice patio and rooftop pool. The bartender was also outstanding! She had just researched and designed new cocktails that were delicious!! Some of my fave ever!

Yelp
This stay was last minute for me and my spouse, bringing in the new year for just us, and have some couple time since we weren't able to celebrate our anniversary due to the recent increase of COVID. Can I just say that THIS hotel and their service has been so WELCOMING! Front desk and security have greeted upon arrival, most usually greet with attitude or sass or just do not say anything, NOT HERE. Despite one small teeny tiny fixable issue with the toilet (it was done so immediately) even offered to switch rooms, we did but we stuck with the original room because it was larger by a foot LOL. Then we go down because my hunny wanted some water but it was out of service, Bruce who was the front desk gentleman helped us get some water. It was out of order on our floor but he made accommodations and gave us some nice fancy water ;) then proceeded with letting us know that we can enjoy some of the things they offer here to make the stay more "homie" and comfortable. Sitting by the fire and soaking up the vibes and view is okay what we chose briefly. Despite the loud noise, which we don't mind because hellooo you're downtown Austin, on west 6th and there's BARS AROUND. You can not complain but ifffff you do they don't hesitate upon arrival to let you know that they will bring up complimentary ear buds. BRUCE! This man goes OVER AND BEYOND FOR YOUR STAY, honestly. His customer service is more like 10 stars than 5. He gave us a complimentary Prosecco bottle, not sure why but we was grateful. The bar had already closed, cool no problem. He did ask what are room number was and asked what we liked and see if he could make something happen. HE DID! A bottle of Prosecco was that. He also let us come to the balcony, privately and enjoy the view. Last but never the least, a complementary piece of cake to enjoy with the Prosecco and view. Me and my better have have definitely been spoiled this short stay and we could not have been more happy and pleased. WE WILL DEFINITELY RETURN and definitely definitely we will recommend to our friends and family to stay here.

Yelp
This is why time share has a bad name, as an owner of hundreds of thousands of dollars in Estes i. This company I am regretting my purchases after this trip.

Yelp
A friend booked a cabana at the Canopy (using Resort Pass app) to celebrate a friend's birthday. Kind of a mixed review so here goes. Cabana: Was tiny and the furniture was so large only 3 people could sit inside it. Luckily the cabana next to ours was open so we kind of spread out. This would not have been an option if they were busy. Pool: Felt great but is TINY! The water was pretty cloudy but fit the bill for what we needed. Bar/Food: The bartender Anthony was very accommodating but the drink and food menu was pretty limited. The website said food from their restaurant Verbena but in actually it was just a small selection and most of the drinks weren't available. What we got was decent (burger, shrimp, fries) but not really up to par for what was expected. The pool area wasn't very busy when we got there but had to buss our own area, were told the frozen drink machine was broken, and when we asked if they had a blender downstairs they did go down and grab it but wasn't offered. Location: Great location right in the heart of downtown. Could easily see ourselves getting a room one weekend when we wanted to hang downtown. Overall okay experience. Think if looking for a quiet small pool experience this works. If looking for more service and space, lots of other options downtown.

Yelp
Wonderful, fun spot for a celebration! The staff was incredible - Otelia at reception in particular went above & beyond for our group & was so kind & inviting! Bar drinks were delicious & reasonable & all the staff went out of their way to make sure we taken care of.

Sydney S.

Yelp
So grateful to have stayed here using Hilton points. Nicest hotel I've stayed in in a long time. Had a balcony over 6th street so it was loud but grateful for noise machine and so nice being right near everything. Bathroom was stunning. Bed was so comfy. And love the glass jars for water and pellet ice. Can't wait to come back!
google avatar

Yelp
Very nice hotel, very friendly staff but when it's 100° in Austin with 100% humidity why in the world would you have your AC shut off just because no motion s in the room? It was such an uncomfortable stay each night because the room is so hot and muggy. I complained, but there was nothing anyone can do because that's how the thermostats were set in every room. I came in from work with a bunch of team members and we all were upset by this. Each time I come back to my room, it was almost 80° and it never would go below 68 no matter how low I want to put that thermostat it would not budge. For the amount of money that you're paying surely you could provide a nice cool stay for your guests.

Yelp
I stayed at a Canopy in Portland that I enjoyed so was happy to find this one in Austin on a recent business trip. The best way to describe the Canopy is it's the hip, cool cousin with a higher monthly stipend or a Hilton Garden Inn in a mid life crisis of the mid range Hilton properties. You know, high ceilings, Edison bulbs, barn doors, lots of greenery. I love the design aesthetic! It caters to the business traveler-namely because of the locations I've seen them in, and the communal work friendly spaces along with free wi fi and work friendly rooms (I stayed at a hotel for work that didn't have a desk! So awkward to type on a laptop). But it also caters to budget conscious travelers who want a modern hotel that doesn't scream "family". This is a green hotel so they recycle, have filtered water machines on each floor and carafes in rooms for guest use, and don't offer housekeeping every day unless upon request. I enjoyed the Nespresso in the room and the comfy bed, and I believe this property is pet friendly. My room was very clean and the pool area was nice. A downside is they don't have an on-site market to buy sundries or snacks and the nearest CVS/Walgreens/Rite Aid was not conveniently located to walk to in 98 degree heat at 60% humidity. Although there is no room service, the attached restaurant Verbena is awesome! I had a late to-go dinner and really loved the menu. Next time I plan on dining in-although with more causal masking in Texas I may wait until I feel more comfortable. I was greeted by a friendly front desk person who provided some good suggestions for food. The best part of this hotel is the location! It's on the west side of 6th street which is a major corridor for food and bars (so many bars). Hahaha. But that means you may get residual outside noise, but my stay was pretty quiet during the week so it may be more of an issue on weekends. I enjoyed my experience here and look forward to coming back.

Yelp
This is a fantastic hotel with great outdoor spaces! The room was modern and had everything we needed--including a clothes steamer! The view of the Austin skyline was great, and they have thought of everything here--a dog park, outdoor space for relaxing, a restaurant and bar, and a great pool! Plus, the hotel is conveniently located near restaurants, Bars and music venues. The staff is also super friendly and helpful! We will definitely come back!

Minette P.

Yelp
rude staff. i asked to be moved to a quieter room and he condescendingly said "this is the busiest street in america what do you want me to do?" rooms are boiling hot the AC barely works. what a stupid idea to have lights that auto trigger from movement in the bathroom. who wants a horribly bright light shining in their face if they have to use the bathroom at 3 am?
google avatar

Melody P.

Yelp
The hotel's interiors are chic and beautiful! The customer service is top notch from the moment you pull up to the valet to the moment you check out of your room! Jill and Melody went above and beyond to provide an incredible experience! The rooms were SPOTLESS and the entire hotel was squeaky clean. I even saw the staff sanitizing common spaces multiple times throughout the day. The beds are extremely comfortable and I loved the natural lighting and balcony plus filtered water on every floor I loved the on site restaurant, Verbena, as well! The portions are a little small but the food is unique and full of flavor ! The hotel location and amenities including a roof top pool, Nespresso machine, and bikes you can rent are a huge plus as well! If you are a light sleeper, I suggest requesting a room that isn't right off of 6th because it can be a little noisy. Overall, AMAZING stay!
google avatar

Jonathan L.

Yelp
A gem hidden on the corner of the iconic West 6th Street Austin. The Canopy is a cozy little place for a weekend stay if you're looking to explore the city. The front desk staff was top tier w Jordan being extremely flexible to our needs and Bruce being a stud and bringing up a microwave at 2:30am. It can be a little noisy downstairs with all the bars surrounding the area but that's what you get with convenience Plus I really enjoy the courtyard and water features

Michelle W.

Yelp
We rented the cabana by the pool thru resortpass.com. We arrived to a very murky, greenish water pool that looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a while. Our cabana had stained dirty cushions, dried mustard and ketchup on the pillows, cigarette butt on the ground along with other trash and dirt. Sticky and dusty side table. Pros- clean white pool towels and comfortable lounge chairs. Bartender did his best with having limited ingredients. Clean bathrooms. Cons- very small pool needs work, no wait staff so you must go up to the bar or get dressed and go downstairs to the restaurant yourself to get drinks/food. Luckily our nice bartender had time to run down to get our order. Needs to be cleaned.
google avatar

Erin J.

Yelp
Hotel itself is cute and has nice furnishings, but it is seriously so loud. Music doesn't stop until 2 am from the surrounding bars and nightclubs, making it impossible to sleep. If you are a business traveler or go to bed before 2 am, I would consider staying somewhere else. Or at least ask for a room that isn't directly facing 6th. I asked to be moved and staff was unable to accommodate this request .

Jana M.

Yelp
Paid $300 to have the worst night of sleep I've had in years. People are nice and room is great, but the purpose of a hotel room is to sleep. The music from the bars outside is so loud there is no way anyone would be able to sleep. We were moved from street view to facing the back alley but it doesn't matter you can't get away from the noise. It goes til 2am. The loud, booming bass that makes your ears ring.
google avatar

Annie B.

Yelp
This is a really comfy place to stay. Just to warn you, you will hear loud live music every night because you are across from a few bars. I don't know if this is true for rooms further inside but mine was right near the window. They upgraded me but this feels like it was a way to get me into a room closer to the street. Not sure but I am suspicious. I was disappointed that they didn't sell Advil or anything like most hotels do. The room was really nice though and so was the staff! If you need to be downtown in Austin this is a great option. There's a beautiful courtyard and restaurant below. You are also in walking distance of a lot of downtown.
google avatar

Fabian P.

Yelp
Front desk employee gave me some sass over the phone prior to my stay. Put in a complaint. GM seems almost incompetent to reach back out to those who submit a complaint. Should've received a call with in the first 72 hours. I cancelled my stay. Other reviewers on google has similar experiences. Read reviews before your stay to see if you're willing to put up with that.
google avatar

Dawn C.

Yelp
Hilton continues to deliver with their Canopy line of hotels & the Austin location has a pool. Great room with walk-in shower and love how they have a place for you to store your luggage right when you walk in the room. I especially liked the Arboretum type courtyard with outdoor fireplace. The hotel lobby was nice, as was the the bar area and restaurant. Cute rooftop pool with optional cabanas to rant with a few hotel room balconies above. Great location but keep in mind Austin is known for live music.
google avatar

A S.

Yelp
Very clean and modern. Front desk warned me that I had a corner room which could be noisy. Sure enough there was a mix of live music and what sounded like a dog fighting ring on Tuesday night. Wednesday and Thursday were quiet. I travel with earplugs so Tuesday was easily managed. Appreciated the refillable water bottle in each room. Great job reducing single use plastic. I loved my room and furniture. Very comfy bed with what felt like down comforters on the beds. Aesthetic is a bit different with so much exposed, polished concrete. But overall it was nice. The biggest drawback is parking. There isn't any outside of valet. The service is great and the car is ready in minutes. But it's also an expensive way to park overnight.

I stayed here for 2 nights right before Thanksgiving, as I needed a small break from my kids, lol. In true 2020 fashion some things went wrong and expectations were high. However, thanks to Joshua, Jill, and Alex my stay was a pleasant one. They were very quick to respond to messages sent via the Hilton app, and they worked hard to stay on top of things and were so accommodating. Upon check in, Joshua, noticing that I'm deaf and read lips, took the time to type out what he needed to say on his phone screen then showed me the screen. Everything was very clean and hand sanitizer is placed throughout the hotel. Jill is so sweet and very pleasant. I was running behind with checking out and she happily extended my checkout time to a late checkout.

Yelp
Great location and newly renovated but not having your room cleaned with those rates was very disappointing. They put cookies out mid afternoon and they are excellent. The fitness gym is tiny. It's a decent place but overpriced. Many other choices in the area

Yelp
Very loud nightclub located next to the building. It's currently 11:30pm and I cannot sleep through the thumping... Terrible. It would be a nice place if it was quiet.

Yelp
Boutique hotel right on the edge of all the 6th street action. There is a courtyard area that sits between the lobby and the restaurant that is a little sanctuary complete with a fireplace, water features, heaters and restaurant access. We had a corner King room with balcony overlooking 6th street. We thought it might be loud, but hotel is well insulated and noise wasn't an issue for us. Refillable water stations on every floor and a nice but small pool (unheated). Staff was friendly and welcoming.

Yelp
If you are staying for work I would advise not to stay at this particular hotel. The hotel is surrounded by bars and it is extremely difficult to get rest. Per the reception area there aren't any "quiet" rooms due to the location of the hotel. They offered me ear buds to sleep. As I was checking out they were offering the next guest ear buds. If a company has to offer ear buds then they should reconsider the business practice. I was told that a manager was going to reach out to me but that never happened. The balcony wasn't much of a view. It had one chair, no table.

Yelp
Restaurant is great, bartenders have lots fun personalities. The rooms are good size and the beds are super comfy. Hot water for days! Complimentary in room coffee, Nescafé machine, my favorite. Hotel staff all very helpful and kind. Location on 6th street can get a little loud though. My room had a nice balcony for people watching.

Yelp
This hotel is right in the heart of things on 6th street with most everything within a walkable distance. Only give 4 stars due to the parking, it's no joke in only having a valet option costing $49 per night which is a lot, also it's a bummer with no Continental breakfast..... wish such an upscale vibe the coffee is from a giant pot and rarely warm and even less hot. Pool view and area is one of the best hidden pools. Lastly it is connect to a soon to be new hot spot of a restaurant abd bar called Verbena

Yelp
I am currently staying in room 606, and CANNOT sleep from the noise from some club outside our balcony. I am on vacation here in Austin for the holidays. It is past midnight as I am writing this review. What I thought was an "upgrade" (as a Hilton Gold member it was complimentary, if available) ended up being a total "nightmare" and "torture"!!! I only reserved for a 3 night stay, and had laid out all my things already to even ask to switch rooms. The cherry on top of this is the garbageman comes (the minute I am able to sleep at 3am) and loudly picks up all the trash/dumpster along our side. All I am thinking about is how I wasted my hard earned money on this terrible experience. Looking forward to checking out in five hours, and to fill out the survey on my horrible experience!

Yelp
We stayed 4 nights in this hotel. Great location. We really liked our room. Very modern amenities. Very clean. Nice pool area - small but nice. Would stay here again.

Yelp
Nice rooms but...TERRIBLE stay The club noise was slightly quieter than a jet engine in our room. Upon entering Room 306, we immediately returned to the front desk for yet a second room. 509. Exactly the same decibel level. Worst Hilton stay ever.

Yelp
This was a terrible experience. From the front staff talking crap about a customer on the phone to the loud music played by our neighbors. We had to call on them several times then they started singing karaoke. I'm sure security was at a loss by then but it didn't help us sleep. The rooms are small, deco is odd, staff are definitely not from Texas, not friendly, except valet, valet was awesome. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else

Yelp
I want to give a special thanks to Owen at the front desk! He has had excellent customer service and made sure all our needs were met for this trip! Thank you Owen!

Yelp
We are here getting respite from no heat during this power outage and winter storm. The staff & owner, who was tending bar, could not have been more accommodating. Heidi and others worked overtime and with a smile. Who knows what they are experiencing! Felt as safe as you can during a pandemic and weather emergency. Restaurant staff made due without grocery delivery. Highly recommend this hotel and will come back often when we get back to "normal". No price gouging and good people! Great rooms!

Yelp
I think it's really silly for people to take away from the this hotel for things like outside noise. Obviously you didn't check out the area, and upon booking they asked if certain rooms were pfegge The only thing we were irritated by sad the a/c situation. It's

Yelp
Lovely hotel with outstanding service. My friends and I spent the weekend here for my birthday. It's a small place so it feels more personal than a mega hotel. Rooms are new and nicely furnished, huge bathroom and shower and very Pet friendly too. I highly recommend this hotel if you're planning a trip to Austin
