Emilia (Le Central)

Fries are good and crispy, unseasoned though, could use a little salt. The piri piri sauce is very good and flavourful. The chicken is delicious but a bit dry. The chorico is huge and delicious. Overall good food that I would try again.

I tried their Chorizo bowl(rice + salad) with spicy sauce and it was delicious!! The rice was very flavourful One of the best meals I had in Montreal. A must try if you’re into bowls.

I stopped by Le Central food court and decided to try this cantine. I ordered the Le Medeiros dish, without salad and not spicy. The portion was generous, and the flavors were well-balanced—everything was nicely seasoned and satisfying. It’s a good spot if you’re in the area and craving something other than the typical pizza, burgers, or sandwiches.

Decent poutine here. Cheese was good texture and lighter in taste. Gravy was not too heavy. Good amounts of chicken!

Good first experience, nice food, Portugese beer available (with & without alcohol), had the chicken & chorizo rice bowl with good flavors and nice portion, however it had lots more chorizo and I would have preferred a balanced mix (or more chicken!). Would return, but in Le Central there are so many options that in the future I will explore other foods. Service was difficult due to their cashier system being down, had to pay cash or wait for a fix alongside other customers. Due to this issue, order was not relayed to the kitchen and after a 10-15 minute wait had to ask and then get it prepped, ended up eating after my partner. Le Central atmosphere is crowded, narrow paths, lots of elbow rubbing, but this is part of the experience and even if sometimes difficult to find a table, you go there for all of it. Will return!

Came for the delicious (chicken and chorizo) poutine. Stayed for the excellent spicy sauce.

Great piri-piri seasoning and the fries are really good. They have three different brands of Portuguese beer and wines and you can have fruit juices from Portugal. Natas are the dessert option. Smiley service. A great option in this new trendy food corner concept that is Le Central in the Place des Festival area.
