The 13 Best Restaurants In Bermondsey

"In an area filled with places for languid, little plates lunches, Caphe House is a much-needed spot for quick and big meals. The small, bustling Vietnamese cafe is functional but homely, with orders placed via QR codes but delivered to the handful of tables with a smile and extra sliced chilli for noodle soups. Come lunchtime, suited-and-booted and hard-hat workers hang around outside, eagerly waiting for their takeaway order. This is a well-oiled operation so there’s not usually too much time before generously filled summer rolls, comforting and huge bowls of phở, and spicy bún huế appear on tables and in plastic takeout bags." - heidi lauth beasley, daisy meager

Caphe House - Review - Bermondsey - London - The Infatuation

"Bermondsey is an area filled with places perfect for languid, little-plate lunches, but Caphe House is a much-needed spot for quick and big meals. The small, bustling Vietnamese cafe is functional but cosy, with orders placed via QR codes and delivered to the handful of tables with a smile and extra slices of chilli for noodle soups. Come lunchtime, suited-and-booted workers and those in hard-hats hang around outside, waiting for their takeaway order to be brought out. This is a well-oiled operation, so not too much time passes before generously filled, refreshing summer rolls, huge bowls of comforting phở, and spicy bún huế appear on tables and in takeout bags." - Daisy Meager

Good standard pho and ice coffee. Good sized portion with fresh ingredients and crunchy sprouts. Not too cramped in the shop at 3pm but would be better if there was a fan in this summer heat.. service staff were friendly and pleasant.

I thoroughly enjoyed my spicy vermicelli soup. Everyone enjoyed their PHO and mixed box dishes as well as the spring rolls. Accommodated dishes to suit my children also.

A nice spot that serves vegan dishes. Big portions. The jasmine ice tea was absolutely brilliant. I had the pho which was nice but the broth was missing some of the aromatics and limeyness of pho for my taste.

My favourite stop for authentic Vietnamese food - egg coffee is the most popular (strong, with condensed milk and egg — consider in case you have allergies); pho, baguettes and steam porks buns are some of my favourites. Most of the noodles are gluten free so feel free to check with the restaurant if you have dietary restrictions.

The best pho ever had in my life!! I’ve tried many restaurants like this, but this is truly the best one!!! Very good service and sweet waitress. 🥰🥰🥰

Small restaurant serving generous plates of Vietnamese cuisine. Delicious papaya salads (great spicy level), tasty pho and fresh summer rolls! A little bit pricey, but worth the big portions and quick service.

We've been to this restaurant a few times now, and it never disappoints. One of the highlights is their egg coffee—rich, velvety, and absolutely worth every penny. The restaurant offers a wide range of Vietnamese dishes, all prepared with care by this lovely, family-run restaurant. Whether you're a meat lover, vegetarian, or vegan, there's something on the menu for everyone. During our last visit, I had a prawn pho with vegan broth, which was good! My partner had the fried chicken with noodles and loved it. This place is perfect for a quick lunch or for spending some time relaxing over a meal. If you're looking for an authentic Vietnamese dining experience, it's definitely worth a visit.

Very nice and friendly Vietnamese cafe with restaurant quality/style food. I had the pork summer rolls and the brisket and rare beef steak pho. Both were very nice especially the dipping sauces that came with them. I’d say the food was light and comforting yet filling. My friend got the char siu pork steak buns and they were delicious. Had a slight sweetness to the bun and was nice and fluffy. I got 2 things so my meal was between £20-£30 but I would say typical spend is about £10-£20 for one thing.
