Great overall experience. The waiter was a little inexperienced but he made up for it with a good demeanor! We did not have our normal waiter, which was disappointing...but we had a chance to see him during the meal.

A friend was in town for the Christmas Gift & Hobby Show, at the fairgrounds, & since he knows that my wife & I are foodies..he asked where would be a good place to go for dinner afterwards? What started out as a recommendation, turned into an invitation, & we went to Capri.. Capri is a local hidden gem that I found out about in a Foodie group that I participate in on Facebook. I mentioned my wife loves Italian food & the recommendations came pouring in. We gave them a shot & it was sooooo gooood. That's why we jumped at the opportunity to go back! Once again, they lived up to, & even exceeded our expectations.. we try something different each time & it seems like they just keep getting better. The food was excellent & service was just as good. If you go, ask for Jason.. he was more like another member of our party than a waiter.. couldn't ask for a better evening filled with good food, fun, & fellowship.. I'm already looking forward to our next trip back.. 😋

Very nice atmosphere - rustic classic Italian. The food was forgettable but somewhat affordable as opposed to the dinner options. Service was slow, even with a majority of the restaurant empty. Would have liked a better lunch experience to consider trying dinner here.

Google
We had a fantastic experience at Capri yesterday. Our server was Jason and he turned an average night out for a birthday dinner into an experience. He was friendly, gave great suggestions and connected with all 6 folks in our party. We’ve been to Capri before and have always enjoyed our meal but our experience with Jason prompted me to take time to write a review. Our food was excellent, drinks were great and he even made a mocktail for me since I can’t drink. The veal picatta was lovely, as was the calamari. We also enjoyed the ravioli, chicken parm and veal parm. We will most certainly be back.

The restaurant is beautiful. The parking is available. The food is delicious, service is good. I would say if you like your pasta el Dante make sure to ask for it. Otherwise the pasta can feel very thick.

I had an amazing dining experience at Capri Italian Restaurant! My friend from Florida, a big aficionado of Italian cuisine, was in town, and I knew this was the perfect place to take him. The ambiance was homey and the food was divine! We both absolutely loved everything we had! My go to meal is the Tortellini, if you haven't tried it, it's a must!

Google
Capri Italian Restaurant was a great venue to have a dinner with a long time friend and a new acquaintance. We were able to have a conversation without straining our voice over the background music. The atmosphere was cozy and warm with the fireplace blazing bright. The service was efficient and friendly. The food was prepared and delivered with a great flow. All the dishes, from the stuffed bell peppers starter, my main course of Tagliatelle del Fattore, and to finish off with the Torta Capri dessert, were absolutely delicious and filling. Portion sizes were just right for a good appetite, but could be shared. Good value for price. I highly recommend Capri.

Google
Service wasn't too good. The New Waiter had a hard time remembering our request, so many time, she didn't know what was on her Menu, ran out of Tea, before we finish our meal. Food was Good,

Yelp
I cannot believe Capri Restaurant is right around the corner! We love this restaurant. Every meal has been fabulous. The service is impeccable. I particularly like that the waiters are more formal; they take your order and take care of you precisely and courteously, but they don't get overly familiar and hover. Every single dish on this menu that we've tried has been phenomenal. Indianapolis is so lucky to have them!

Yelp
Really great first experience at Capri. We started off with the Calamari. It was good but in my opinion it could've been crispier. You can tell from the photos it wasn't very crisp. But good quality seafood. For our mains we got the Lobster Pasta and the Chicken Piccata. The lobster pasta was delicious! The sauce was incredible and a great portion of lobster was as included. The chicken piccata was also really good. The sauce was delicious. It came with cheesy potatoes which were awesome and mixed veggies which were meh. They had no seasoning on them. We split an order of sprouts as our side. They were delicious!! Came in a Gorgonzola sauce. The only thing that would've made them 5 star sprouts was having them a bit crispier or softer (aka cooked longer) but perhaps that is personal preference. For dessert we got the cannoli. The cream was very orange-y which was good but not what we expected! Could've down without the chocolate sauce, but it was a good cannoli. We did come here for a bday dinner and we didn't get anything special for that beyond the superb service! Would definitely dine again and recommend as a fantastic authentic Italian restaurant! I feel like pricing was very fair for the portion size and quality of the food.

Yelp
We came here for a tasty lunch and afternoon drinks. Everything was so good and I was sad to leave. I'll definitely be coming back again! Make sure you wear something casual to formal, no hats. Ty they have a top notch gigantic espresso machine and will make some damn good espresso martinis upon request.

Yelp
Absolutely love sitting in the bar in this place. Great food, great setting and even better people watching! The service is always top notch, the specials are always interesting and tasty, and the regular menu is diverse and dependable. You always get a great meal. The restaurant itself is more formal, lots of linen, silverware and glassware but the Bar is more relaxed and cozy. Highly recommend!

Yelp
We had a delicious New Years Eve dinner at Capri. We had a large party reservation, but plans changed and it ended up being just two. They were able to accommodate quite quickly to downsize us comfortably. First things first -- food and drink were all delish! We began with the warm apple salad (sans bacon) and went on to both enjoy the butternut squash ravioli and finished with the lemon ricotta cake! Let me also say, as a Gin gal, the Bee's Knees cocktail was delish. I loved that there was ample parking, warm ambiance inside, and seemingly an upstairs (though we dined down.) The only less than ideal experience was the service, unfortunately. Our waitress seemed anxious and/or stressed--we waited quite a while to be greeted, our table candle was never lit (until we asked), the waitress never introduced herself (again, until we asked), and her energy seemed in a rush. It was a holiday evening, after all, which can get pretty hectic so I hope to dine again for a more rounded review, but service can greatly impact a dining experience, as we all know. Definitely worth checking out for delicious Italian and would be great for date night, business, or special occasion. They also seemed to have a good sized patio which is likely wonderful in the summer.

Yelp
Still love the old world charm of Capri. Our waiter this time (I think his name was Justin?) was such a nice guy. Friendly and super attentive, he made my belated birthday party even more fun! Oh, and the food? Perfect as always!

Yelp
How have I never been to this restaurant before?! I never knew it was tucked back there off of Keystone, but I am so glad my coworker recommended it to me! The food was all so delicious. I could've used a few more clams in my linguini, but even once the clams were gone, the white wine sauce was so flavorful that I had to force myself not to devour the whole thing. The restaurant has a very calm, quiet, romantic setting, with classical Italian music and dim lighting (maybe a touch too dark). I have to compliment this place on their wine education. The server explained a few of their special wine offerings, right down to the soil composition. So kudos for educating your staff on at least some talking points on a few wines! As a wine nerd myself, I was pretty impressed; however, I could see others finding it a little pretentious or off-putting to receive a mini-lecture on the soil composition & root structure of the $100+ wines he was describing without having any idea of what we were planning to spend on wine. But I have criticized places before for having servers who know nothing at all about the wines they're serving, so I'd much rather see a place that maybe overdoes their wine speak than a place with servers who have no clue. Overall, I was super impressed, and I am sure we'll be back!

Yelp
Wednesday night dinner at Capri. We were seated promptly even as a walk in without a reservation. Our server was no nonsense and explained the menu. They had a special chef's menu that we ordered a few items from it. The best dish of the night was definitely the shrimp appetizer(Gamberoni Fra Diavolo). It was spicy but not too spicy. I could use that sauce on a pasta. That would have been perfect. I enjoyed the chef's lobster risotto with scallops. The scallops were quite large and seared nicely. The flavor was good and rice was not overcooked or mushy. My date and I split a Caesar salad. I did not try the raviolis but my date ate and enjoyed them. The truffle cheese sticks was melty and I used the spicy sauce to dip instead of the marina it was served with. They were dusted with truffle seasoning. The biggest miss was the broccolini. It did not have a great flavor. I had high hopes because it was served too with crispy garlic. We were offered dessert but no room. I did however finish the meal off with a limoncello. Can't pass that up at a good Italian restaurant. Overall experience was great and I would visit again!

Yelp
Bolognese Lasagna 8.94/10 - best thing on the menu, taste and presentation top tier. Loaded with meat Rigatoni Vodka 7.6/10 (Sundried tomato Rigatoni, Soleggiati tomato, cream, fennel, burrata) - underwhelming. I did take a bite with no burrata so probably why. Calamari Fritti 8.8/10 (Calamari fried in Capri's house batter) - really good calamari, was soft and flavorful. The sauce was way too thin for my liking. Truffle Mozzarella Sticks 6.5/10 - no cheese pull so major deduction was necessary. ALSO I thought there'd be truffle inside of the mozzarella stick but its just a truffle powder on a normal mozz stick Stuffed Portobello Mushroom 5/10 (Stuffed with chicken, spinach, ricotta cheese and onions, drizzled with truffle oil and balsamic) - absolutely not. I make GREAT stuffed mushrooms that don't even compare to these. Caesar Salad 8/10 - Very solid Tortelloni Alla Papalina 8.3/10 (Homemade pasta filled with ricotta, sauteéd in olive oil, onions, pancetta, mushrooms and cream) - so insanely rich. could only eat like 3 til I went blind from heavy cream. Tagliatelle deal Fattore 8/10 (Homemade pasta tossed with sauteéd diced chicken, olive oil, garlic, sun dried tomato, asparagus, cream) - Basically the same as the Papalina just noodle form and not little raviolis. Not as such since it doesn't have the extra ricotta Warm Bacon and Pear Salad 6.8/10 (Spinach and Kale blend, pear, red onion, soleggiati tomato, walnut crouton, ricotta salata, warm bacon vinaigrette) - the lettuce was too green and like leafy. Prefer a nice crispy lettuce. Flavors were good though Risotto -/10 (Lobster stock saffron risotto with scallops) - didn't try but Nancy brought this home a couple months ago and I had the leftovers. Was good not great. Probs better fresh but I wasn't in the mood

Yelp
We went for the Easter brunch and going in, I did not have many expectations for it. In my opinion, brunches are often overpriced, lukewarm renditions of heat and serve options. However, the Easter brunch at Capri was everything BUT! The options were standard with some additional flairs (think: scrambled eggs AND frittata). There was ham and lamb as a meat station and their awesome Bolognese Lasagna as one of the pasta options. And for the kids, chicken tenders and mac n cheese (that adults would like too!) Our servers were fabulous. I liked how they had 2 servers per area and encouraged us to ask either one for whatever we needed. I want to note that there was no flagging down that needed to be done due to the servers always circling back to check on us. We were in the patio room and it was gorgeous with the amount of light coming in. We decided to make this an annual tradition and if they do the brunch next year, we will be doing it again. At $39/adult and $15/child, we thought it was a great price point for the food they offered. This was my first time at Capri and it was exquisite. We will certainly be going back in the near future.

Yelp
I loved every aspect of dining at Capri. Many friends in the area mentioned how great this restaurant is and it did not disappoint! After I made a dinner reservation for 5 the staff personally called me to ensure that everyone was able to climb stairs if necessary to get to our table, which was much appreciated. Our server was warm, gave helpful dish recommendations and was extremely accommodating throughout the entire meal. We enjoyed complimentary bread, fried mozzarella stick and artichoke appetizers to start which were all yummy. I ordered a fantastic spicy pasta dish and saved room for bread pudding and decaf coffee for dessert. If I had to give a critique I would have preferred the onions in my pasta sauce to be cooked a bit longer (they were a bit crunchy) but otherwise thoroughly enjoyed all of the food. I can't wait to dine here again and try more of the menu items!

Yelp
I had my birthday dinner for 13 people at Capri and they knocked it out of the park! I had a delicious aperol spritz and espresso martini to drink and linguini with clams for my meal. At the end they brought out a complimentary bread pudding for dessert. It was delicious and huge! The service was very good. Can't wait to be back and try more!

Yelp
I've been a fan of Capri for a long time and used to stop in and get a lunch to go when I worked close by. I think this place is a good choice anytime but it is especially great when you can sit outside. On this occasion I was here with my husband and we always seem to get the same thing because it always comes out amazing. This evening we got burrata instead of caprese and a stuffed portobello for our starters. I always get the Tortelloni alla Papalina it has all my favorite ingredients a nice cream sauce pancetta and mushrooms. My husband always gets the Linguine alla Vongole with white wine sauce. Both are absolutely amazing. The tiramisu and cannolis are also a great way to end the meal. We got ours to go to share with our kids:)

Yelp
We've dined several times at Capri as well as ordered delivery a couple of times via DoorDash. Either way, the food is always excellent! When dining in, we like to sit in the bar area -- either at a nice table or at the bar top. We enjoy the classic décor, Sinatra-era music and overall vibe of the bar area. We've tried several menu items including fresh salads, intriguing appetizers, delicious pastas, well-seasoned filet and veal entrées, delightful seafood, and yummy desserts. Many of the items we've tried were from the Chef's Features found on the back page of the in-house menu. All that to say, I can't recall the names of all of them, but I've provided pictures (and captions of ones I could recall). All meat entrées include a side of patate al formaggio -- you do not want to miss out on this side dish of Heaven!! Tip: Capri is a nice place for celebrations. Personally, we've celebrated a career promotion with our family in the bar area. Last evening, a family of six was celebrating a mother's birthday with great food as well as a nice wine selection, by bottle as well as by glass (all over 21, of course).

Yelp
The food here is fantastic! I can't believe how many times I have driven by Capri and haven't stopped in. It's definitely a favorite for my family now! The service was pretty good, only thing was our waitress was a tad forgetful at times but was very apologetic and friendly so not bad at all. I ordered fettuccini Alfredo which isn't on their menu, but they made it when I requested that which was a very nice touch. The pasta was a bit thicker than I usually like but tasted fabulous - definitely homemade! The crème brûlée was probably one of my favorites I've had - it had a light citrus flavor which was delightful. The atmosphere is pretty formal and quiet. Definitely a very calm place to have a great Italian meal! My biggest complaint was that we were seated in a back room that I would guess was on the other side of the kitchen. Throughout our entire meal that was a very loud bang on the wall right behind me which definitely startled me on multiple occasions. This would absolutely be a 5 star review if it weren't for that, but I would absolutely return for the food (and hopefully a better table!)

Yelp
My second visit to Capri was with my husband's family from Korea. We were a group of 11, and half of our group could not speak English. We were seated immediately and our water glasses were filled quickly. The waiter was patient and helpful. It is always hard to please everyone, but everyone at the table was happy with their food. I was too full for dessert, but I made my husband promise to bring me back.

Yelp
What an elegant vibe. The tree growing in the middle of the patio is a unique touch. Unfortunately I can be a little ocd and would was extra conscious/worrisome of random tree debris falling in my food and drink. They make everything from scratch which I love, and the servers know a ton about the restaurant and of course featured items. There was one waiter who sounded like he literally flew here straight from Italy. I got the spaghetti and meatballs which were quite filling. I wish they were a little bit more flavorful but it seemed like authentic Italian with simple fresh ingredients. This restaurant tends to draw in an older crowd but it just seems like a classic place. I would definitely go back and just sit inside next time.

Yelp
Why did I wait 30 years to return......I am legitimately nuts!! I had Spaghetti Bolognese which was all veal. I order Bolognese in every state we visit, I can truthfully say this is the best I've ever eaten. No take home container was needed. We sat outside which was very enjoyable. Next time I'm eating inside because it was so moody, cozy and welcoming. Who wants to go with me next time??
google avatar

Lexi S.

Yelp
We were in the mood for Italian so we went to Capri for dinner. You get bread and butter on the table. For an Italian restaurant, I wish they had oil but the bread and butter was warm. I started with a lettuce wedge that was good not great but great portion. For my pasta I got tagliatelle del fattore. It was very filling with chicken, garlic, sun dried tomatoes, and asparagus. Our server was friendly but I felt like he was rushing us. The ambience was cozy!
google avatar

Amber K.

Yelp
Food was exceptional -service was impeccable and ambiance was perfect. The prices were reasonable across the board.
google avatar

Yelp
The cocktails weren't good. Old fashioned and whiskey sour. I got the tagletelli and it said light cream sauce but it was very heavy. The lemon tiramisu was spectacular! Ambiance as always, was beautiful. Bartender just wasn't on his game tonight.

Yelp
Went here for a birthday dinner back in November. Great service and food. My pasta was very tasty and we overall enjoyed our experience there. I will definitely be back the next time I am craving good Italian food.

Yelp
We have come here for year at the holidays with friends. Between the two families we are a lot of people and huge age range. They always are able to accommodate us and are very welcoming. Have food allergies is also a challenge yet they have accommodations for us as well. It's fancy but beyond expensive place to eat. So grab the fancy dresses and friends and head on over to Capri for some wonderful dinner.

Yelp
A hidden spot off of keystone avenue. We had such a great night here with family friends. Our server was wonderful and the food was incredible! My favorite appetizer was the Diablo shrimp. My husband had the special that day- shrimp rissoto and it was delicious! I had the chicken with prosciutto which was also very delicious. I can't wait to go back!

Yelp
We had dinner with friends at Capri last night. We've been regulars there dating back to when my friend Arturo Di Rosa opened it many years ago. While it's still a top notch restaurant, it's just not the same since Arturo sold it a few years back. Nonetheless, it's still a wonderful Italian restaurant. We planned to eat outdoors on their patio but the rain forced us to move indoors. Our waiter Steve was very personable, attentive and professional. He provided suggestions on our wine and meal choices. I opted for the Veal Scaloppine Parmigiana and my wife chose the soup of the day paired with the evening special Insalata di Mare - a mixed greens salad with shrimp, scallop and calamari. Both meals were very good and quite flavorful. Capri is still one of the best Italian restaurants in Indy.

Yelp
Wonderful lunch at Capri! I grew up coming here - my dad and stepmom even had their wedding reception here. It's one of the few Indy restaurants I miss now that I live in California. I took my mom (who still lives in Indy) to Capri for lunch and we had a wonderful time. The restaurant still looks wonderful and it was great to hear that Arturo retired (but still owns the building) and a new generation of entrepreneurs has taken it over and retained the same quality. Lunch is a great deal - you can get smaller portions of house made pasta dishes and full sized starters for a lower price than dinner. They also have seafood, steaks, chicken, and chef specials. I started with a house smoked salmon salad and a glass of sparkling rosé. Both were delicious. For my entree, I had Fettucine del Golfo with white wine sauce and my mom had Linguine alle Vongole with white wine sauce. Both were absolutely delicious! Mom said the Linguine alle Vongole was just like the kind my grandma used to make (and we still have the recipe). Our server, John, was extremely friendly and attentive. All the other staff we interacted with were also very nice and efficient. A lovely lunch and great time spent with my mom.

Yelp
My husband and I visited Capri for our anniversary last month. We had a reservation, and it may be that you need to specifically reserve for the patio, because we were seated inside, where Sinatra played on an endless loop. I had a pasta dish with chicken and asparagus that was pretty lackluster, but my husband enjoyed his special risotto. The cocktails were enjoyable as well, and our waiter was attentive. I was really looking forward to tiramisu for dessert, but our waiter said it was a "deconstructed" version of tiramisu and that he didn't really recommend it. At least he was honest! All in all, it was fine but not amazing for me. I would want to try a few different Italian restaurants in the area before returning to Capri.
google avatar

Yelp
The ambiance on the terrace is very nice. Yes it's next to the parking lot but the partially covered beams make it more inviting during nice weather. If the weather isn't so nice like in winter, the tables in the bar are really nice. The big fireplace is very nice. The staff is very well trained n knowledgeable. Now about the food...... it's outstanding and it will not disappoint!!! Solid!

Yelp
Tonight we visited one of Indy's finest and oldest locally owned restaurants. For restaurant #94 we visited Capri Italian Restaurant in Indianapolis. This restaurant is about as close to authentic Italian as you can get from the food to the staff and the experience as a whole. It is no surprise that this restaurant has been open since 1951! We started out with freshly baked bread and butter, Calamari Fritti, Antipasto Misto, and Melanzane Parmigiana. For our entrees we got a little bit of everything. Some of our favorites were the Chicken Parmigiana, Fettuccine del Golfo, Tortelloni alla Papalina, and the Gnocchi de Patate Sorrentina. We finished out the night with Crème Brulle, Tiramisù, Raspberry Cheesecake, and a couple of other desserts, none of which were disappointing. While the food was good, I think the warm and welcoming ambiance here is really what made this restaurant stand out! The engagement from all of the staff members, especially from our amazing waiter Eugenio and the general manager Aaron, was something that you would not experience anywhere else. We can not recommend this restaurant enough if you want fresh house-made pasta with an authentic Italian feel.

Yelp
My entree -stuffed pepper cold - veal parm salty - wedge salad missing more stuff - drinks were odd - infortunately we are unlikely to return - Bocca the only decent Italian in town imho

Yelp
Wonderful venue for our friend's small reception dinner. The staff did a fabulous job making sure everyone had plenty of food and drinks. All the food was fabulous. We loved looking at the pictures on the walls and spotted several familiar spots in Rome since we were there a few weeks ago. Highly recommend for dinner and events!

Yelp
I can't believe I haven't weighed in on Capri sooner! This restaurant has a classic club feel with big fireplaces and comfortable chairs that invite you to sit and dine and enjoy your meal. We chose to eat in the bar area since the patio was closed for weather, but that is a great spot also. The service was excellent. Our waiter paced our meal to our leisure perfectly. Food: excellent. Pick anything.

Yelp
We were lucky to get a reservation for 8 on a Saturday night to celebrate a birthday. We started with only 5 people, but they kindly accommodated 3 more guests with just a phone call. We arrived and were seated promptly. The dining room was very nice! It's a beautiful seating area. We started with salad with balsamic dressing & mozzarella sticks, both were delicious! The mozzarella sticks were the best any of our party of 8 had ever had. We ordered Gnocchi di Patate Sorrentina, Costata di Maiale Masaniello, Filetto Dell' Alpino, a lasagna & a lobster dish that I didn't see on the menu (these may have been specials?). Everyone loved everything! The Gnocchi was delicious with a tasty, but light, red sauce. My brother had the filet and cleaned his plate! The pork chop was delicious. Everything was so good. My husband had the grouper special, which I hope they'll have the next time we're able to go, because wow! This was a little on the higher end, price wise. Dress seemed to be business casual, but really not a jeans and t-shirt/hat kind of place. We would definitely love to dine here again. It's a great special occasion place!

Yelp
Capri Restaurant feels like you're in Chicago at a top-notch Italian restaurant. It's classy and has a very big city feel about it.

Yelp
One of the best restaurant experiences I've had in a long time. The service was AMAZING and the food was even better. I had an espresso martini, scallop risotto and the crème brûlée. I've been on an espresso martini kick and this is the best I've had in Indianapolis. The restaurant is so beautiful as well, very comfortable and homey. I would've loved to sit on the patio as it is just as nice, but it was too cold. We will most definitely be back!!

Yelp
once a stellar restaurant & place i'd bring all my wonderful friends & guests, now inconsistent, overpriced, arrogant, angry host, elitism, favoritism & neglect; my dinner not prepared & waiters who can't pronounce or converse about menu items, undercooked crunchy pasta, eggplant sliced so thin & tastes akin to seaweed, small portions except to preferred customers; not a wise gamble; so sorry to feel & experience a lovely place w/o quality, care, negligence & anger if food served returned to kitchen; rather than improve to show customer appreciation & effort to please, even w/information to encourage proper cooking time of pasta; extremely disappointing Came on another night when not busy & lovely platters of food served: deceptive & nOne star for interior. Yelp
I am so disappointed to write this review on this seemingly beloved restaurant, but the way we were treated here tonight was unacceptable. This was my first experience at Capri. While I was born and raised in the Indy area, I no longer live in Indiana but return often. However, my entire family lives here, as well as my extensive friend and professional network, and I was excited to try this place out. I have heard great things about it and when it was suggested by my mom as a girls night to celebrate her end of chemo treatments it sounded like the perfect place. We made our dinner reservation for our party of 3 at 4:30pm as to get there early to avoid as many people as possible since my mom is immune compromised as a cancer patient. We were running behind due to traffic and called at 4:40pm to let them know, to which we were told okay and "we will mark you down as late". We arrived before 4:50pm, were greeted with a couple of extremely unfriendly and unwelcoming girls at the hostess stand and told they needed the table vacated by 6:30pm. Never in my life have I ever been told how long a table was available to us, but, no problem. It was before 5:00pm at that point and 6:30pm was over 90 minutes away. We were seated at a lovely table right by the fireplace. We sat down and were poured water, began to peruse the menu, napkins in lap and settled when Liv (Liz?) the head rude/unwelcoming hostess comes over to our table and tell us she has to MOVE US to another table with zero explanation. What??!! Is this a joke?! Shocked, we gather our stuff and get up and move from the fireplace table, which by the way, we never asked for that specific table in the first place. I asked why we were being moved and Liv/Liz says it's because another party is coming in earlier than expected. Our night was saved by our wonderful server Jason who was very pleasant and we enjoyed very much. He was very nice, chatty, knowledgeable, and accommodating. Outside of the company, he was the best part of the night. However, I will never, ever return to this restaurant and will make sure to tell any and everyone about this experience and recommend never wasting their time here. The owner walked around the dining room and greeted guests and never made an effort to come to our table to explain or apologize. Oh, and if you were wondering, the table we were moved from at 4:50pm was not seated by the guests that were "arriving earlier than expected" until 6:35pm. This place is classless. 10/10 do not recommend.

Yelp
The food was tasteless. Think MCL cafeteria but expensive Italian food. The gnocchi was soggy, the lasagna was under seasoned. The Caesar salad was the only edible thing that we ordered. I do not recommend.

Yelp
We had dinner here on a Wednesday night. We had reservations and were seated immediately. Our waiter was very nice, but clearly he had too many tables. He rushed over and said he was bringing us water, we asked if we could also have iced tea, any quickly walked away, and did bring our drinks to us quickly. He also brought us rolls, which were cold and hard. Two other tables were seated after us, and while we were waiting for 30 minutes for our waiter to come back and take our order, both of the tables that were seated after us already had their salads before we had even placed our orders. I don't eat, veal, and all of the choices with meat sauce were made with veal. I decided to order the short ribs, and unfortunately they were out of short ribs that evening, so I ordered the linguine with clams and red sauce, because I asked if the white wine sauce had a strong wine taste and he told me that it depended on my pallet, and I'm not a wine drinker, so I opted for the red sauce, but it really wasn't that good and you don't get a lot of food for the price. On a good point, the wedge salad was delicious, and I left wishing I had ordered the wedge salad with a protein for my dinner. Unfortunately, Capri does not come close to Mama Carrollas or Iozzos...

Yelp
I had the best experience at Capri Italian Restaurant today. They really made Thanksgiving special! I started with having an Espresso Martini at the bar. The bartenders were so friendly and had such an amazing attitude even though they were working an holiday. Then I had the Thanksgiving buffet that included both traditional Thanksgiving foods and Italian dishes. I was so impressed with the quality of the food and the service. I can't wait to go back and try their regular menu.

Yelp
I used to love this place. Great food but the service has gone to heck. Here's how I arrived at my rating: Rude Item: Went to Capri yesterday (4 pm reservations). Our party of 5 walked in and up to the hostess stand at 3:55 pm. Hostess was unnecessarily rude, telling us, "You cannot go to your table until 4 pm when we open." Strange Item #1: Our server took each of our drink orders and then just stood there. Not saying a word, just staring at the table. I mentioned to him that he had each of our drink orders and asked him if he needed anything else. He said "no" and walked away. Strange Item #2: Our server did the same thing again after he took our appetizer orders and then, later, our entree orders. Both times, the server just stood there staring and did not move. Both times, my husband reminded him that each of us had already ordered. Strange and Rude Item #3: At the end of dinner, our server brought one bill and handed it to my husband. The server NEVER asked how or if he should split the bill. My husband and I never intended to foot the bill for everyone in our group! Shocked and not wanting to embarrass anyone, my husband gave the server his credit card and said "thank you." Super Strange and Very Rude Item #4: Upon my husband saying, Thank you," the server replied, "Don't thank me, your the one paying the bill." Our entire table gasped at the server's remark. Strange and Rude Item #5: After adding in a 15% tip *, my napkin was slightly on the black bill/invoice holder. The folder was on the table between my husband and me. A napkin was slightly on it. While our group was talking, the server reached his hand from behind my husband and me (we were sitting close to each other), removed my napkin from the folder, and grabbed it. Never did he say, "Excuse me," or "Would it be all right if I took the folder." Strange Item #6: After grabbing the folder and looking inside (for his tip we assume), he approached another employee and started pointing at our table in a very unhappy and obvious manner. He did this in plain sight of us and other customers. At one point, we all though he was going to come over and yell at us. Final Rude Item: While leaving, we walked right next to him. He would not look at us or acknowledge our presence. * We normally tip between 20-22%. Due to our server's uncomfortable behaviors and rudeness, we gave him 15%. If he is mad at that, then he needs to look inward at how he treats people.

Yelp
Yelp lists spaghetti bolognese at $11, online menu for Capri says $23. Significantly different, I would say.

Yelp
Great food and wonderful service. I always forget about Capri because it's tucked back off the road but this place is a diamond in the rough!

Yelp
We just had a dinner meeting at Capri for 19 people in a private room. Andrew was our server and he did an amazing job! The food was outstanding and he never missed a drink refill or any request. Thank you Capri for a great evening!

Yelp
Beautiful exterior and interior to match. Our waiter was lovely and the food was delicious. Bruschetta was amazing, calamari was cooked well and the Gamberoni Fra Diovolo (shrimp) was perfectly spiced. Their salad, caesar and house was delicious. I personally love salad haha The food was delicious, my meal the Tortellonni ala Papalina was so creamy. The desert was also amazing. My dad had a great birthday meal. Definitely recommend Capri.

Yelp
This is an amazing little hidden gem! One of the best Italian restaurants I've been to! Excellent service, awesome food, and the cutest outdoor dining. Pasta is made fresh in house daily as soon as you take that first bite you can tell! It's also not overpriced like some other Italian restaurants, the drinks from the bar were on point too. I can't wait to go back and try more of their dishes. Maybe even go just for dessert, I was so full after our meal we didn't get a chance to try dessert but the tiramisu looked wonderful!

Yelp
The chefs special risotto was elite. Very generous portion and succulent shrimp. The atmosphere in the place is really cool and I could have totally hung out there longer. Definitely a great spot for a date.

Yelp
Exceptional service, decor, atmosphere and ambiance. Best veal parmigiana I've had in a long time. Only negative was the Old Fashioned was a bit weak. Overall outstanding and highly recommend.
