"Classic Italian charm radiates from this Pembroke Pines favorite, with a central chandelier bar, white tablecloth-draped tables, walls of wine, and arched entryways. Amid a laundry list of staple Italian dishes, its lobster ravioli is as creamy as it gets." - Jesse Scott

I really loved the restaurant! Authentic and delicious food/drinks! Looking forward to try other dishes there. Our server was really nice and gave us great recommendations. We also enjoyed the live piano/violin music! Perfect for a date night.

Michael has done it again! He's an absolute treasure, always funny and helpful with the menu. My boyfriend always gets the pear pasta (Fiocchi De Pera), which is top-tier. I usually try the specials, but the pear pasta is my go-to. The mozzarella and tomato appetizer is always a hit, and the complimentary bread and tomato sauce are yummy! We also had a bottle of Pinot Grigio, and they play live music too. Tonight, Michael suggested we add Italian bacon (panchetta) to our usual fiocchi di pera with chicken, and it was delicious! I honestly can't complain about the food, drinks, service, or scenery here. It's a win-win with a classic Italian vibe. Perfect for a first date or really good food with a boujie atmosphere and affordable prices. I definitely recommend Capriccio!

Have been wanting to go back here. Live piano player that isn’t too quiet, but also not overbearing. Lovely ambience, romantic. The food was delicious. The lobster ravioli was 10/10. Giuseppe was our server and he has incredible diligence and delivered a phenomenal experience.

Let’s start with the atmosphere what a beautiful place it make you feel right at home the Ambiance is stunning beautiful piano, Chandelier Birthday Song they sang in English and Italian. Now service was on point.I had a reservation and arrived a little early but was seated immediately William our server did a phenomenal job he made sure we were not without he and the establishment allow us to be us. It was my husbands 55th Birthday and the first time we had been there we are always looking for new places for food to try out new thing we both highly recommend this restaurant. Food is fresh and place is clean they will even show you the kitchen as a courtesy. We will definitely make this the go to celebration place.

Google
Amazing place. Amazing food. Lately the owner has a new rule that makes you order appetizers and food all at once. I understand her statement of having to take time to prep the food, but the way that’s presented it’s not even an option. IMO, if it was explained that it might take longer to get the food, and that we could choose to order the food with the appetizers, at that point is the customers choice. Instead it was a demand. That felt very rude to me.

Google
Very pretty atmosphere of a restaurant establishment, (INSIDE) outside is not very nice looking. But a little bit lacking on overall experience . To begin on a Sunday night , music was repetitive sounds and very loud. The food was exceptionally good and big portions, as a family , we had the PESTO gnochi, chicken parm, tuna carpacio apetizer , lentil soup (this was actually smaller portioned then expected) the plate wasnt filled to the top,ONLY mid way. kids ordered chicken nuggets with fries. The star of the menu in my opinion was the pasta carbonara. The taste was very flavored and you can tell the pasta is made in house. Unlimited bread was also a good vibe. Server was attentive, but not very experienced with people that have food allergies and intolerance. I asked for gluten free dairy free options, she just mentioned pasta gluten free and a plain marinera sauce as the only option in the whole menu. I did find some other options but I also felt the place didn't have the appropriate accommodation for the situation of someone with sensitivities. My neice also wanted pizza and they dont offer that on their menu. Weird for italian restaurant not to have pizza.... Another complaint was they don't accept apple pay , it was a little awkward but managed to get someone else in the family to pay with credit card. I felt the place deserves it's stars for atmosphere and delicious food. But definitely needs a little more work to make it into a 5* restaurant. The prices are also pretty high as mentioned before and gratitude is included but they will ask for more when paying. So be aware of not tipping twice if you feel it's tricky..i felt the food was high priced for the location of this restaurant , it being in a plaza in a corner street in the middle of a so so neighborhood, just dosnt feel appropriate to be in that price range. But overall it's good if your willing to spend a good amount of money and don't have any food sensitivity..allergies. Almost everything on the menu was dairy infused or yeast breaded food. Including their sauces.

Our waiter Luis was amazing. The ambience was awesome. They had live music, and for those that need to know a little bit longer than normal for the food to come out because the food is freshly made while you wait, worth the wait. Can’t wait to go back.

Google
Absolutely phenomenal experience at Capriccio Ristorante! From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was elegant yet warm and inviting. Michael, our server, was outstanding—professional, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. He made thoughtful recommendations and ensured everything was perfect from start to finish. Every dish was a masterpiece, especially the homemade pasta. The wine selection is top-tier, and Michael helped us choose the ideal pairing. Whether you’re celebrating something special or just craving exceptional Italian cuisine, Capriccio is the place to go. Five stars without hesitation—can’t wait to return!

Yelp
10s all around for Capriccio; we come here often and you really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Service is always amazing, space is beautifully decorated and nicely lit, as well as spacious. I like that there are many seating options: nook/booth, table seating, or at the bar. Service is quick (even when we come on major holidays like New Year's Eve) and delightful always. Today we got lobster ravioli and fried calamari as apps. Can't go Italian without some fried cal in my opinion, and Capriccio's doesn't have anything necessarily special about it but it's definitely quality and always a nice opener to a great entree. The lobster ravioli was really good and soft, the lobster was tender and the sauce on the ravioli was great. They also give complimentary bread, which paired well with the ravioli sauce. The entree I ordered was the chilean seabass with asparagus. Can't remember what the waiter said the sauce was but this dish was, unsurprisingly, amazing. The seabass was just as soft and tender as the ravioli's lobster. The sauce was slightly sweet and paired perfectly with the fish. It also went great with the asparagus, which surprised me because I'm usually not a huge fan of asparagus. Also came with grilled veggies (zucchini, peppers, potato). I also tried the pear gnocchi--delicious. The sweetness was just right, and the pear was definitely present and well balanced. The Veal Capriccio w Pasta was honestly delectable. It was done perfectly, so tender and was seamlessly balanced with an equally perfect mushroom and cognac sauce. Practically melted in my mouth. I had the opportunity of trying the snapper of the night as well, but wasn't my dish so I can't speak much on it and also don't know what the sauce contained. The piece that I tried was okay, honestly surprised it wasn't a 10 but even at a lower rating than the rest I'd still say it was an 8! Overall like I said, Capriccio never disappoints!

Yelp
The food was good especially the calamari. It was spectacular. The meal was average, not worth the high price tag except for the wine. Perfect. The ambience was cool with live violin playing at the tables. However, they sat us in a banquet hall with a piano player. Next time I will definitely ask to be seated in the restaurant. Now the service was incredible. Personal service with a smile. That is all.

Yelp
perfection achieved The food is amazingly great !!! excellent service lovely ambiance I will definitely repeat. and a piano player to top it off I strongly recommend the experience

Yelp
I ate here once in...I think it was 1995. I live near here and really don't know why I haven't gone back. Well, tonight I did. We were sat in a very nice booth in the bar area. I have to say...there was a not great smell when we walked in. It dissipated but can't figure out what it was. Service was excellent. We got there before the music started and left right when it started. They have live music nightly which is nice. We were served bread with a red sort of sauce. Neither of us were a fan of the bread. It lacked flavor. The mussels with white wine sauce were delicious. J do wish they were bigger. We each had a side salad. This had a very tasty dressing and was fresh. My entree was delicious! It was the Penne Marie E Note. It is penne with a creamy vodka sauce and mushrooms. It comes with baby shrimp but I substituted that for grilled chicken. I like big shrimp!! Anyway, this was a HUGE portion. I took home half. He ordered the grilled chicken with balsamic glaze and roasted potatoes. I kept thinking the balsamic glaze was chocolate sauce. I tried it. It was ok. The potatoes were kind of good. We had tiramisu. It was very good. There are other entrees that sound good as well. Capriccio's has been in business since 1987. That is saying a lot because this area had not many houses back then. What a great restaurant all these years later.

Melissa T.

Yelp
Very nice and elegant restaurant. We were a group of 16 celebrating a graduation. They had a person playing the piano then the violin. It was so nice to hear it live BUT it was so loud that we couldn't hear each other talking, including the water. He had to ask the person to lower their speakers. Each room had their own music going on, it was a bit much. You can't enjoy a nice dinner. Food was okay, pricey for sure. My husband got 4 pieces of ravioli filled with lobster, plate was almost $50. They were not big. Thankfully he wasn't too hungry. The tiramisu was almost $12, it's mostly moose on top. I don't want a tiny piece about 2 inches by 1 inch and a pile of moose for that price.

Yelp
We were able to score a reservation on Christmas day, and I'm really glad we decided to check this place out. This restaurant takes up a majority of an older shopping plaza, and doesn't appear to be much from the outside. However, once you step inside it has such a cutesy/romantic Italian vibe going on! We lucked out and were seating in the bar area- what a ridiculously cool little room! (It seems like this restaurant is pretty broken up to allow for4 events and/or larger parties). My kids LOVED the live entertainment, and were very excited when the pianist stopped by to ask for any Christmas tune requests. Service was a tad over the top. LOL. Our waiter was very attentive and perhaps a bit too aggressive with his suggestions, but overall he did contribute positively to the experience. Would rather have someone care too much than not enough. All of the entrees were very good. The veal cappricio was excellent, and the portion was certainly hearty. I thought the children's portions seemed a tad overpriced, but they were happy with their buttered noodles, so whatever (the penne with butter was $15). Looking forward to making it back at some point so that we can try additional options and report back.

Yelp
This place is phenomenal. We took a gamble, tried somewhere new for Valentine's Day & had a wonderful experience! It's romantic & rustic with various seating areas, including a decadent bar that sits under a glamorous chandelier. We were sat & greeted by staff immediately. We didn't interact with a single employee there without being told "Happy Valentine's Day" at least once. Now to the food... The complimentary bread & salad were simple but so good/fresh. We had a bottle of Rodney Strong Merlot which was perfect & not too dry. For our entrees, I had Chicken Parmigiana & my boyfriend had Snapper Meuniere. My chicken breast was huge, perfectly cooked & topped with the perfect amount of cheese/marinara. My boyfriend also loved his food to my relief because he can be picky with sauces. Aside from the kitchen doing a great job, the servers were exceptional. Our wine & water glasses were always filled. We were checked on often by the two servers covering our area and numerous other staff members. In summary, this restaurant will be added to our rotation of favorites & will remain a go-to for special occasions!

Yelp
I absolutely love Capriccio Ristorante. I have been 6-7 times now. The Paperdelle del Nord is FANTASTIC. Every time I come here, I tell myself I will try something else but still end up getting the Paperdelle del Nord because I love it so much. I have also tried Fiochhi di Pera as well and it's great if you want to try a pasta dish that's on the sweeter side. Portion size is quite large for pasta dishes and I always leave with leftovers for the next day. Hazlenut gelatto is also amazing and I highly recommend it! I love the overall ambience of the restaurant and you feel a sense of family and hominess when you walk through the doors. It's a HUGE restaurant with multiple rooms and lots of live music. I just love the warm atmosphere here. Wait staff are also very knowledgeable and professional. Always a great experience!

Eddie M.

Yelp
Food was excellent, server Simi was very helpful and prepared. Will be back.place has live music (piano), very nice place.

Olivia G.

Yelp
I've had this place literally 50 times and the food is always as good as I remember. There's a huge room in the back for private parties/dinners and we threw a scar faced themed party, we slayed. I made all the decorations myself and we had a DJ. You must try there pear and Alfredo pasta it's to die for !!! Save room for dessert, 10/10.

Julie V.

Yelp
Giseppe serves us every visit , every time we come we are more and more pleased. his service is above and beyond. we have celebrated birthdays , anniversaries & common family dinners here. we absolutely love it. thank you for another beautiful experience.

Yelp
This is the way I remember my parents taking us to a real Italian restaurant, with old school charm, delicious food and proper decor & enjoyable live music. Top 3 Authentic Italian restaurant in South Florida.

Viany L.

Yelp
Very authentic italian food and great service. Our server, Michael, did a phenomenal job serving us and making sure we had everything we needed while also suggesting his favorites from the menu. I always love when the waiters recommendations are actually good. All in all, it was a great restaurant for a classic italian fine dining experience.

Kim J.

Yelp
We were there this weekend celebrating Fathers Day. We dined in the lounge/bar. An experience with fantastic food, great service and amazing live entertainment (piano player/singer) was had by all. Please extend our sincere thanks to your staff for making our experience so wonderful! PLEASE don't change a thing! Kim J

Yelp
I was recently here for a dinner party and had such a a great time! I'd been here before but it had been many years between visits, my loss for sure. Started dinner with appetizers of mini meatballs, and calamari served with delicious focaccia bread for the table. It was followed by one of the best penne al vodka I've ever had and gnocchi with pear and ricotta cheese. We also had their house salad with homemade vinaigrette that was delicious then our main course with cannolis and tiramisu for dessert. They have an excellent wine list and a full bar with a gentleman playing piano. It's definitely worth trying if you're in the area. The service was excellent and everything ran smoothly. I highly recommend coming here if you're in the mood for some delicious food. Reservations recommended.

Mary Ann C.

Yelp
Capriccio delivered an amazing experience. The food was excellent and the service was superior. The house salad is so good that I would go back just for that! The cannolli was very good too. I liked how there was extra dollops of cannoli cream around the plate. Many tables ordered the calamari, which was a huge tower of fried fresh calamari with marinara sauce. The bread was soft and nothing special. Crusty bread with olive oil for dipping would have been nice. I had the lasagna and while it was wonderful, I can't deny that I was eyeing other dishes that looked equally good. Why haven't I been back here sooner? Because the decor was outdated and the service in the past was not so great. I was pleasantly surprised at how much Capriccio has changed. I think it's time to make a new reservation!

Anna C.

Yelp
The food was ok to say the least, I ordered Alfredo fettuccine with chicken. The chicken was too dry. The Caesar salad with chicken as a dinner that my husband ordered was also dry. We had to ask for extra dressing. The anchovies were not chopped up and included in the salad. It was really nothing to go back for. I could do a better salad than that. My daughter ordered a mushroom something dish and it was to the salty side and the mushrooms were not cooked properly. I waiter was obnoxious. Perhaps he was trying to be nice but he was obnoxious. He even came across like rude. The ambience of the restaurant we have to give it a, 4+ because they had a nice guy singing in the piano. Overall, if you want to pay for a nice ambience, it's worth it but for the food, it was not worth it. They should also have a dress code. There was a woman two women with pajamas, and a dog. Unacceptable.

Nina C.

Yelp
This place is sooo much bigger than it looks from the street! It spans about 5 rooms east to west from the front to the back of the plaza. I came here for thanksgiving dinner with my family and didn't know what to expect but was more than pleasantly surprised. They had a thanksgiving menu with the traditional turkey/potatoes/greens options as well as their traditional menu. It was actually a nice break to have some Italian food on thanksgiving for once and the pasta was amazing. Started with some wine and everyone was given a house salad which had a delicious dressing (although they drench it in it like most places and as usual i had to order separate one with dressing on the side). Me and a friend shared both the lobster ravioli and the fiocchi di pera. The fiocchi is my favorite Italian dish and I'm a pretty tough critic bc I've had it all over the world but this was delicious. 9/10 on that. And the lobster ravioli was also amazing, the sauce was creamy and rich and the lobster inside tastes present and fresh. The server even mentioned he could add chicken to the fiocchi and so we did, which really brought a depth of flavors and textures to the plate and made it feel more well-rounded. Our server was surely overwhelmed with all the big parties that night but it wasn't difficult to get his attention and it seemed like they were all working together to get through the busy night. I've lived in this area my whole life and never eaten here but now i will for SURE be back and probably order the same 2 things again!

Gus Z.

Yelp
Excelente service, food amazing just a great place. I been there many times and never had a bad experience.

Carlos C.

Yelp
The food is good but overpriced and there's no date ambience- smallest table is for 4 persons. The wait staff is okay, nice waiter but didn't give me chef specials until I asked the rest of the support staff is not good for the money. I would not pay to go there again!

Lau C.

Yelp
The food was Ok, at best. The artichoke was not edible. The porcini pasta was ok; however, it did not taste like porcini mushroom. I expected it to taste better. My partner ordered the short rib ravioli and it was edible but nothing to be impressed over. The service was great and attentive. The ambiance was good too since there was live music. The restaurant is overpriced for the quality of the food and ingredients.

Susan P.

Yelp
Celebrated my birthday here with my family. Italian decor and ambiance. The place was buzzing, live music and a happy atmosphere. Everyone was very nice and service was excellent, they gave me a very special treatment because it was my bday! Violin guy came to our table! Food was authentic Italian, flavor and presentation was outstanding!

R J.

Yelp
I really wanted to love this place, but it just didn't turn out to be the amazing place I was expecting based on others' reviews.  To start, we were seated in the banquet hall which was a far cry from the cozy atmosphere of the main restaurant area.  There was a very nice piano player, thankfully.  The main area had a strolling violinist.  Service by Luis was excellent, and the wine was delicious.  The fried calamari were fine, presentation very nice in a type of nest, and filled with plenty of calamari.  The pasta with clams was just like in any other restaurant, a bit on the salty side, but with plenty of clams.  I didn't find the veal chop up to par and, unfortunately, it was overcooked.  I am grateful they served the chop with the mushroom sauce on the side, as I found it would have been too overwhelming since it was a strong tasting sauce.  The Italian cheesecake was not as good as in other places where I've been.  In summary, it's OK, nothing to write home about, although I would return just to have another glass of the wine...

Frank P.

Yelp
Had another bad experience there yesterday. last time was Feb 24 but gave them another chance. waited 1 hour for entree's...they screwed up again. server had on our receipt 4:45? we got there at 6pm our reservation time. they rushed to get our food when we asked...pasta was under cooked and returned. the food is good but the service not. They had an automatic 25% gratuity. when we asked the manager they said you ate here and its automatic. we asked but what is the service is bad and food as well. Long story short NO CREDIT just bad policy.

Raissa R.

Yelp
Amazing food! Amazing ambiance. Reminds me of my childhood. Great service too! Bravo!

Judy S.

Yelp
Good food, friendly atmosphere what else can you ask for? This is my second time coming in a long time. I can't believe I waited this long. I made my reservation online. It was simple and fast. I then got a confirmation email with some of the restaurant policies. It was a smooth transaction. We got seated right away. It was a crowded day. To my happy surprise, they have a musician playing. I enjoyed the music very much. we were a party of 4 and we all were having a good time. The stuffed mushrooms were delicious. I don't know what was on the stuffing but it was very good. I ordered the Pollo Primavera. It came recommended by the waiter. I liked it. I got a side penne with Vodka Sauce. The vodka sauce here is OMG good, gone of my favorite. Everything I had tasted good. Our waiter was great. He was funny. What a character he was. This is a nice family-style restaurant. It has been here for ever and I am glad it is.

Anabel B.

Yelp
The food can be a hit or miss depending on what you like, but the staff is so friendly and the ambiance truly romantic. I come here all the time

John O.

Yelp
We were back at Capriccio for Mothers Day weekend! We met some friends of ours there. Once you get inside, this place has a unique old school charm. Food was terrific! Steaks are as good as any steak house. Great dressing on the house salad. As busy as they were the service was the best we have had in quite a while. Great wine selection with great recommendations from the staff. We ended up in the lounge (what a chandelier) as we love the entertainment they have in there. We have seen that same guy there before and he never disappoints- has a very large repertoire including a lot of contemporary songs. If you have yet to experience this place you are missing out! We will continue to visit Capriccio Ristorante whenever we can. Plenty of Parking! They seem to welcome kids with open arms. We even saw some of them dancing in the lounge- how cool is that?

Stephanie B.

Yelp
What a phenomenal dining experience at Capriccios. Classic family-owned Italian restaurant with exceptional service (please ask for William- you won't be disappointed). The food was absolutely delicious from the seafood stuffed mushroom appetizer to the classic chicken parmesan and seafood risotto. They have two dining rooms- each with its own piano and on Friday and Saturday a violinist accompanies the pianist in the main dining room. What a wonderful atmosphere for your dining experience- we will be regulars here. I absolutely recommend you try this for your next date night.

Ashley M.

Yelp
Professional and delicious Italian food. I especially loved the tiramisu. Very great service and attentive staff.

Carmen D.

Yelp
Short and sweet when it comes to Capriccio and the generous portion flavorful dishes, impeccable service, and inviting ambiance ... Fine dining at its best. The end.

Maria S.

Yelp
Came here for an anniversary dinner in the middle of the week. I will say I'm pretty particular when it comes to Italian food. Growing up with my Dad who is an Italian chef developed my taste buds to specifically crave and enjoy Italian food that is homemade. Food was OK. It wasn't terrible but it wasn't great. The pasta sauce was watery. The mushroom appetizer was not what I expected but still pretty tasty. I found the bread service a bit awkward since it was focaccia with what appeared to be a side of pizza sauce...I wasn't a fan of that. Pasta fagiole soup was also just OK a little watery whereas some places Ive had it as a thicker consistency. We skipped dessert. Service was also OK. We made a comment that it was our anniversary and decided to come during the week vs the weekend and server mentioned that since it was middle of the week and less busy we'd get more personalized service. It didn't feel that way though. When my soup arrived I wanted grated cheese for it but server never came around so I had a couple spoonfuls and passed the soup to my hubby since I really like grated cheese on my soup and since the soup was watery I didn't really want it. Our busboy was actually really nice and helpful though. When my meal came and I asked him for cheese he gave me a plate with a mountain of grated cheese. My hubby had also purchased flowers for me and the busboy offered to put them in water for me while we ate. Ambiance was 5 stars. The decor was nice the live music was romantic. There was someone selling flowers to those interested which was also nice. Which is the bouquet my hubby bought for me.

Richard D.

Yelp
Bread is insane, lobster ravioli is delicious, ambience is lovely. I love everything about this restaurant, will definitely be the first place I go to for dinner when I return to Ft. Lauderdale

Eric B.

Yelp
Thanksgiving diner was great. I had the rack of lamb, excellent. The gravy was delicious and the lamb was tender, prepared perfectly. . My mother had the sea-bass, it was delicious. My wife had the ravioli, thoroughly enjoyed it. The dinner salad was very good, so good my wife wanted the salad dressing ingredients.

Jenny A.

Yelp
This is my parents' favorite Italian restaurant in the area. It's mid to upscale. They have a piano player playing classic songs. Food and service is great. It has that old-timely Italian American vibe

Dianne C.

Yelp
The pasta was delicious. It was expensive, but there was enough pasta and sauce for 3 people. I did not love the bread that came with it.

Jamesandmary L.

Yelp
This place is The Bomb! Been here a few times. The bar/lounge area is very unique looking with a choice of high tops and low tops to sit at besides the bar- get a table near the entertainment, the guy that plays piano and sings there is fantastic and will play all your requests. We ate in the restaurant part once (separate from the lounge) - a bit more traditional. This most recent visit we had the Eggplant and Chicken Parm. We both liked the sauce! Nice size portions and both tasted very good- our friends had similar dishes and were equally impressed They give you a salad (great house dressing) with the entrée along with bread service. The bread is nothing fancy but good enough. The place is a bit pricey but worth it as they give you a lot for your money- Entertainment, Great food, Unique ambiance and the service was always on point when we were there. We were told about an all night happy our with live music on Wednesdays so we will try that next.

Lindsay M.

Yelp
statted of with. an appetizer of cheese tomatoes and bruschetta so flavorful and delicious taste then we got a salad with some dressing not sure what kind but so good followed up with bread and butter i got the. fetticcunie Alfredo with chicken my favorite and my husband got a meat dish and for dessert canolis thanks for yelp when you check in complimentary

Suzanne G.

Yelp
10/10. I love this restaurant! Excellent service (ask for Leo), fun and lively ambience, and great food. Their lobster bisque is awesome, salads are great, and the hot bread is addictive, so try not to fill up on it before your entree arrives. You can't go wrong with the fried calamari appetizer, seafood pasta, lobster ravioli, lasagna, and any fish specials your server may recommend. Your tastebuds are in for a treat! You can thank me later. :-)

Phyllis S.

Yelp
Everyone treats you like a true guest. The food is amazing. The ambience is great but you need to sit in the lounge or by the piano. The service is surprisingly good. My waiter in lounge is so good that I don't need a menu.

Katherine C.

Yelp
My family has been choosing Capriccio as our go-to birthday celebration spot for almost 20 years, ever since we discovered it. The food quality has never let us down, no matter what dish we have. From the seafood risotto, to the pear pasta, to the filet mignon, every plate we've ever had has been wonderful. The servers are always pleasant and give great recommendations, and the ambiance feels authentically Italian with live music (piano or violin) in the house. We will continue holding Capriccio at the top of our list for birthday dinners, because it never disappoints!

Marina Z.

Yelp
The food here is good but the bartender is the reason we will not be back. They legitimately gave us an attitude for asking a question about a drink. My husband told the bartender that the drink didn't taste good and the bartender said "your pallet changes after a few drinks". The bartender proceeded to ask how many drinks he had and said that maybe he should be cut off since he didn't think it tasted right. I own a restaurant/bar myself and I would be appalled if my bartender spoke to someone that way. I personally had 2 drinks in the span of 2 hours (because I too thought they weren't tasting right but didn't want to complain) so when I asked what he used in the drink to make it, the bartender told me to ask the manager what the ingredients were in the drink, as if the manager had made it. It was a very awkward scenario, the bartender could have easily just re-made the drink. This was for our rehearsal dinner the night before our wedding - which really only made it that much worse.

Gema R.

Yelp
This is definately one of my favorite Restaurats a bit expensive but worth it. The best Rib Eye I have had was here ,everything is delicios!!! The Rack of Lamb is absolutely delicios , the presentation is how a Rack of Lamb should be presented. My Husband always has the Lobster Thermidor which is really good he loves it. Great Atmosphere, there is always music playing a gentleman playing the Violin. You definately need a reservation.

Yelp
The restaurant had a great atmosphere upon walking inside and was very spacious with many families dining for Thanksgiving. It was busy and the waiter kindly showed us to our table in the furthest room behind the bar. The large array of food options was nice and we settled on the Lobster Ravioli as well as the Fiocchi Fe Pera. Small table salads were brought by the waiter which had a bit too much dressing on it but still was delicious. Both dishes were really tasty, had an authentic feel to it like the classic Italian we all love. Creamy and rich in texture , I was happily satisfied with the flavors thanks to the chefs at Capriccious. Dessert consisted of cappuccino which was perfectly made , with that last delicious sip of sugar at the end. A wonderful Thanksgiving dinner for my family and I in the heart of Pembroke Pines.

Yelp
I have heard about Capriccio, but never tried it until now. I was dining as part of a large (14,) group for a surprise birthday. It was mostly couples and we were seated in the main dining room right up front along the window. The menu features dozens of dishes with everything you'd expect at an Italian restaurant; pastas, chicken, steak, veal, snd seafood specialties. There is a full bar in addition to the wine list. The decor is dim and classy and they had a gentleman singing that also walked around and visited all the tables. There appeared to be several other large parties dining there and the restaurant was quite busy for a weeknight. Our waiter seemed to have been there for many years. He was really good at rattling off specials and telling us about menu items. We were also given water and delicious fresh bread with a marinara dipping sauce almost immediately upon being seated, even though not everyone was there yet. There was a little confusion with menus, (they were handed out, taken away, and then randomly given to a few diners a second time,) and with drink orders. (Some received the wrong drink, others were billed for a drink they didn't order, etc.) As for food, I had the risotto di funghi, and it was delicious! It was also a really huge portion. My husband had the gnocchi and his was a really big serving too. He said it was light and fluffy, so he really liked it as well. One friend had the penne pasta with shrimp and another had the lobster ravioli. Both said their meals were great and many of us had a good sized portion to bring home for another meal. Sides salads were also good. I just had beer but a few members of our group who had mixed drinks or wine; said their drinks weren't good, and at least 2 in our party sent their drinks back. (The waiter was a little cranky when drinks were sent back.) Everything was going pretty well, and everyone seemed to be enjoying their meal. Since it was a birthday one of our friends had brought a big cake for the birthday girl. (This is something we have done many times before at different restaurants around town.) When she asked for plates she was told that the staff could cut & serve it however it would be an additional $2.00 per person. She offered to serve it herself.....but still $2.00 person. A few members of our party have been coming to this restaurant for over 20 years, and the son of one guest bussed tables here as his first job. We were all in shock at the exorbitant charge. We could see a $5.00 or even $10.00 charge, but $2.00 was crazy! Especially since all of us had ordered full meals and lots of drinks from the bar! The sad thing was we were all having a lovely meal; but the "cake fee" at the end kind of soured our experience. I might come back to Capriccio in the future......but I think we all learned our lesson about bringing in a cake from a 3rd party.

Yelp
Capriccio Ristorante is exceptional!! I have visited many great restaurants and Capriccio is one of the very best. The food is wonderful and beautifully presented. We could save this place for special occasions, BUT I perfer going every Wednesday. Bar bites are great appetisers. My personal main course favorite is Fiochhi di Pera. But everything is great. Save room for the Hazlenut gelatto for desert. And throughout the time there, Capriccio's excellent bartenders concoct excellent cocktails. The always remember our names and drink preferences too. The bar is "our spot" and truly beautiful. The chandelier must be seen to be believed. It makes the entire bar seem like a fairyland. And the piano talents of Carl make it all the more wonderful. Carl has thousands of songs ready to perform at your request. He plays and sings them beautifully. The music at Capriccio's bar makes every visit fabulous. I can't say enough about this wonderful gem in Pembroke Pines. Don't ever change. We love this place

Yelp
This is a local go to if you are craving what tastes like home made Italian. The ambiance is perfect. Unfortunately this evening there was no music, but it's okay. Eating at the bar and people watching is fun. Across the bar was a couple that appeared to be on their first date. Sorry, I digress- I am here to do a review of the food. We ordered beef carpaccio for appetizer. I was craving carbonara- so that is what I went with. Never had a bad meal here. They are consistently delicious.

Yelp
There is so much I can say about Capriccio... THE FOOD, THE ATMOSPHERE, AND THE ENTIRE STAFF! This place is a hidden gem and certainly worth visiting!

Yelp
Worst service I've experienced in the Miami area, and that's saying something. No eye contact.. and apparently it's my fault it took 45 minutes for the pasta to be ready because we ordered appetizers... unbelievable. On top of that, it's expensive... not coming back Addendum. The main waiter was EXTREMELY disrespectful and rude. He ended up throwing the check on the table. Obviously, by your answer, you think you've done nothing wrong which makes the whole situation even worse. For me to put up with this kind of service the food better be four Michelin stars. This food is dominos +
