"Step aboard this Lincoln Park ship and discover the flavors of the sea. Nosh on fried oysters, soft shell crab, fish po’ boys, and fresh catch like king crab legs and head-on shrimp. To finish, all guests receive a complimentary beignet." - Jeffy Mai, Eater Staff

I ordered a pound of shrimp in the Captains Mix, and the Cajun twist fries with Spicy Mayo. It was actually pretty good, better than I expected - I really like the fries. Plus, they brought us a couple of beignets on the house after dinner :)

Pretty mediocre restaurant. We went at 1:30ish on a Sunday afternoon and the entire place was empty. The food was just okay. Typical greasy, fried items. The soft shell crab sandwich had kind of a weird taste. The chicken and fish in my captains choice basket were so heavy and greasy. The fish tasted like it was frozen. It was mushy on the inside. They also didn’t offer lemon slices and they didn’t have malt vinegar? Service was fine. No complaints there. Probably won’t be back though. Nothing special.

Spicy seafood boils in a bag. Great for big groups and they serve beer. Went on Saturday for lunch, fairly slow, the construction next door makes it less visible from the street. I recommend the lobster, head on shrimp, and crawfish, we got the potatoes and sausage too. On the down side was we got the curry sauce with mussels, it tastes more Japanese than Thai, not my favorite. The other sauces were great.

Awesome food, great atmosphere. Creole boil style. Good draft tap list too

I got the special half off lobster deal they have for their opening and it was delicious. Little bit of work to eat, but I'm an amateur. Good draft beer too. The ordering system can be confusing, but it is nice because you get to choose from multiple flavors and levels of spiciness. Messy eats, but they give you a funny looking bib and provide a sink to clean up near the bathroom.

This place is amazing. It's a laid back style restaurant. You can get any type of seafood for market value price and choose your flavors. We got the crawfish, mussels, and queen crab legs and all were very tasty. All the employees were helpful and kind. Will go again!!

Unfortunately my experience was poor, which is heartbreaking because I've heard great things about this place. I just think the server was in a bad mood or tired, but the way our group was treated was unnecessary and very rude. After being seated and ordering drinks the server informed our group that the restaurant would be closing in about 45-60 minutes. He also suggested (strongly) that we carefully think about and order some items over others (it's a time issue, plus I'm sure folks are tired, I totally get it). However even after we ordered our carefully selected items, our server returned to tell us the kitchen were out of said items. We attempted to ask about other items, before the server again, implied the time was an issue. We decided to leave. I have a few issues with this: Besides the 5 people that had just walked in (including myself) there were 2 other people sitting down, and they looked awfully comfortable. My point is, it wasnt a busy period. There were more staff than patrons. It was very obvious to the point of plain rude, that the server did not either want to wait on my group or just didn't want to continue working. It is strange that our server wasn't aware of what items were available or not. We weren't told this after sitting down, in fact we had taken the servers suggestion. It seems very odd the server would suggest items that aren't available during a time where it isn't busy or even near close. I totally respect closing policy and procedure, but the staff could do a better job at telling folks. I wish I could give a better review, I really do, but there are other places in the city with the same concept.

It just opened and we've been there twice. Loved everything we've gotten!!! Lobster, crab, shrimp, crawfish, calamari!!! So fun!!! I like the lemon pepper seasoning. My bf likes the captains mix. It's a lot of garlic!
