Caravan Canary Wharf Restaurant

I had a wonderful early evening meal at Caravan before seeing a show at the O2 (perfect pre show location - just one stop on the tube). Cocktails were great, and the service was good, both outside and then inside. Very welcoming. Food was excellent! Highlights for me were the croquettes which were gorgeous, and I would come back for this dish alone. The cod dumplings were delicious and I could have scoffed more; I didn't get to taste the cornbread because my fellow diners were greedy and ate my portion. For mains I had the Cod with miso (?) Flaky, well cooked fish in a gorgeous sauce. Sadly didn't get to stay as long as I would have liked as we had a show to get to, but I would definitely come back again for a more leisurely meal. The staff were really friendly, new about the menu and made good recommendations. The Manager was really helpful, finding us a seat outside for drinks before we moved inside for dinner, and overall the service was prompt and friendly, the food was hot, swift and tasty and the general atmosphere lively. Finally, the loos were CLEAN and very nice indeed - always the benchmark! Will return.

Caravan far exceeded my expectations. I ordered a flat white and the Islands Hazelnut Chocolate and Blood Orange French Toast (awfully long name) and loved it so much I’ll definitely be going back. The brioche was perfectly soft and fluffy, the praline on top gave it a bit of crunch, and the chocolate and blood orange balanced each other out perfectly. My only reservation would be in the two slices of orange on top which didn’t add much to but flavour but can’t fault them too much because they did add to the aesthetic. The restaurant was dimly lit and warm, giving it a really relaxing feel, perfect for a weekend breakfast.

Loved the variety of all plates. Loved the chilli tofu and the sauce in it. We got an ice latte and a normal latte. The labneh was very creamy and the chick peas gave a very good crunch. The salmon salad was great but it was more salad than salmon.

I really liked the place and the atmosphere, service was the best thing. I just think is overpriced and the menu is too small for a brunch. If you want toast it can only come with avo or eggs, everything else is above £4 to add each. I also ordered a juice and it was £6.3 for a normal water size glass and had 4 ice rocks! That’s crazy the cost of that must have been 50p if. I got the full English and it was literally one mushroom one toast one tomato, idk very small and average for that price I don’t think I’ll be coming back.

Nice decor, atmosphere & delicious food. I had the crispy salt tofu starter, & coconut red curry with tofu. I really enjoyed both dishes, the curry was my favourite with brown rice. Only thing I asked for no spring onions on the curry but it still came with them, & way too much coriander. I guess it’s mostly to garnish the dish but I just picked them off. I ordered the Phony Negroni non alcoholic drink which was so bitter for me that couldn’t drink it I would definitely visit again & try something different & maybe a dessert too

I have been here a few times - on a personal date night as well in larger groups with teammates. The food, ambience and service has been amazing every single time. It's situated right next to the Canary Wharf station entrance and can get quite busy. But wait times are worth it for the atmosphere and the food, especially the variety and style of food offered - there's something for all kinds of eaters with great tasting balanced meals. If it's sunny outside, their outdoor seating offers nice views of the crowds passing by at a comfortable distance.

Lovely place! Visited today for a coffee while I worked and the staff were lovely. Nice atmosphere too. I've also been here for brunch and recommend the chorizo hash with poached eggs 🤤
