Great ambiance and a warm welcome at reception, but that’s where the positives ended.
The food was consistently mediocre. The fried chicken pancakes were especially disappointing: dry, oddly sweet, sour, and spicy, not to our taste.
But the real issue was the service.
I understand things get hectic when it’s busy, but what stood out was the clear lack of care. We were served by Zoe, who made us feel like we were inconveniencing her. It took 25 minutes before we could even order, and only after I called her over. She forgot our water, never checked in on our meal, and when the food finally arrived, the waiter accidentally collapsed both our pancake towers.
We gave feedback on the food and asked for the bill. Ten minutes later, they offered free coffee, which never arrived. Instead, they removed just two drinks from the bill, even though we were a table of four.
We were planning a business lunch here next week, but we’ll be going elsewhere. Disappointing experience overall, never coming back.
