"For Londoners, the original Caravan in Exmouth Market was a schooling in how to do brunch properly, and the all-day menu of modern dishes (with the odd Asian twist thrown in) are excellent. The coffee’s roasted on-site, and there’s a vibe that’s perfect for a casual lunch with friends or a drink and a snack. Brunch at the weekends is legendary, though do be prepared to get there early or face a wait." - David Paw

DON'T COME HERE! Please do yourself a favor and don't come here. They bake in the 15% service tax and don't even serve the table which is laughable. They don't even provide water and just straight up charge you for bottles. Kebabs were fine but nothing ordered was particularly good. Honestly wasted potential for this establishment.

The food is probably the only decent part of the restaurant. The bread is decent, but nothing special. The meats are okay, generally better than some Middle Eastern places. But they do not serve rice at all for dinner, which is kind of weird but whatever. That is probably the best of what I have to say. The overall cost and portion is okay in general, but some other reviews mention better prices in other places. The service was not only nonexistent, but they actually charged for it. It took over 10 minutes just to get water (not to mention we didn't even ask for bottle water, we asked for tap). It took 15 minutes to get the bill at the end, and the plane only had 4 other tables at the time but had 3 servers. They actually forced a service charge on the final bill despite doing nothing at all. I highly recommend that people avoid this place. I felt like trying something different and this is quite probably the first time I was actually disappointed picking a new and different place.

The dumplings were delicious and the stuffed pastries were amazing. They also have kompot which was pretty surprising. It’s a great place to chill and the service is great, all for a good price.

Yelp
We stopped in for lunch and it was delicious! We had the plov, samsa with lamb, and cheburek with meat. We highly recommend all of those options!! Everything was soooo delicious! The sauce that came with the cheburek and samsa was excellent... compote also yummy!

Yelp
A good restaurant with Uzbek cuisine, which is I guess under new management as previous name was 1001 nights.
