Caribbean Sushi

New favorite sushi place in Tulsa. Went for a dinner date and loved the food and atmosphere. It is a small place and I can imagine it can get packed. Servers were awesome and nice and were able to accommodate my shellfish allergy.

We tried this place after seeing their Vegan Food Month award for best vegan sushi. Everything is crafted SUPERBLY, especially vegetarian options. Probably the best vegetarian sushi I've ever had. Atmosphere and service is great too. Great effort, great taste, and affordable compared to other sushi places. Will return.

I love this place. It is definitely worth the drive from my house. Brought my kids too, and helped them appreciate that sushi can be delicious. The server was amazing. I didn’t catch her name, but she was amazing. It’s a smaller dining area, but they make sure to clear tables quick to ensure adequate seating at all times.

We love this place and recommend it to our friends. The staff is very friendly, and the food is fantastic. We always share an Omakase, and let the chef pick. He's never done us wrong, and the sushi is always on point. I love the fusion of sushi and Caribbean. The chef will include sometimes include fried plantains or fresh fruit in the rolls, yum! They also make their own hot sauces for dipping!

Congratulations! It's their 9th anniversary! Gotta have sushi? Gotta have it there! I had their 9 piece nigiri yellowtail, salmon, ahi tuna and Galapagos roll. In addition, if you like it spicy, they can easily accommodate from jalapeño to Carolina Reaper. Their flan is the best. Forever a fan. Family owned and operated.

1st visit, and we were so pleased. We were trying to decide what to get because the menu was fantastic, we were ordering to go but sat down to decide, and while we read the menu, my daughter ordered the miso soup, awesome idea!!!! I chose a poke bowl with rice, Ahi tuna, cucumbers, avocado, and seaweed. Also, the sushi rice balls and the plantain veggie roll. Customer service was perfect, with quality ingredients and flavors to match. Definitely returning.

This place is incredibly good. Seriously, I wasn’t expecting sushi this good in a strip mall. Sitting at the bar made me feel like I was at a high-end sushi bar. The chef and waiter made me feel like a VIP guest. I live in Dallas, but if Broken Arrow was my residence, then I would eat here all the time! As a bonus, they have a massive selection of hot sauces with a range of flavor and heat level.

Unique style sushi, with a mix of Caribbean flair, fruit and spice. Ask for the Omakase Platter, they will ask you what you do not want on it, and how spicy you want it, and wait for the surprise. It's always worth it

I just love this place. It's near where I live so it's dangerous how good they are. I went with my cousin and we of course had to get the large order of garlic edamame because it's the best thing ever and no one else has it. Then she tried the pokey bowl and really liked it. I got my usual which is the fried shrimp roll.

Caribbean Sushi had me rethinking and expanding my notions of what sushi is and what it can be. This is such a good restaurant. Everything was fresh tasting and mostly balanced. Lots of interesting options that taste amazing. The fish rolls are good, but the vegetarian ones are perspective shifting. Service was excellent. Great spot for a casual date night.

This kept popping up as a recommendation on Yelp. The Garlic Edamame is delicious. The Arepitas were good but even better with the dipping sauce. We also tried the Caribbean sushi roll and poke bowl. My daughters got kids cali rolls. Everything was good. Service was fast! Ambience is fun. They have fake plants, fun lighting above the sushi bar, & music videos playing on the tv.

This place is a small little Tucked away treasure ! The food was really good and it was very flavorful. I will be back for more .

Don't let the shopping center scare you away. Sushi was great!!! Love the omakase with three small rolls. Don't be scared as they don't have octopus or anything strange. Location was a little worn and bathroom were indicative of a "hole in the wall" type place. No liquor license here so don't expect plum wine or sake, which disappointed me some. I'm not sure if I will return as I live out of town but it's was very affordable, staff was friendly, it appeared family ran and it was good food. Hope I helped.

I was visiting my girlfriend in Tulsa for a few days last week. She was excited to share with me that Tulsa was hosting a Vegan Chef Challenge with over 60 restaurants competing in the challenge. She showed me the website and mentioned a few places in town she hadn't tried yet, but was excited about items on their menu. CS did not disappoint, when we walked in we were greeted at the hostess stand immediately. We shared we were there for the vegan challenge. A very friendly young man was excited to hear that, he asked if we were interested in a table or bar seating. We decided on the bar, so we could watch them create the yummy rolls. He spent quite a lot of time going over the vegan item challenge items with us, as well as other items that were vegan, or could be easily made vegan on their menu. We decided on the dragon fire balls appetizer and the trio. Don't forget to check in on Yelp- you will get a free miso soup. I showed him our checkin, and asked if it was vegan. He said it wasn't, but quickly offered an alternative of a house salad for each of us. We enjoyed all of the rolls we tried- and would be hard pressed to pick a favorite. We did try, and each time we took a bite would would decide that was our favorite. But then the next time we tried another one and then that was our favorite. The young man later came to ask how our journey with the vegan challenge was going. We told him this was our first time in, but that we would definitely be back. He shared this was a family owned/run business. That his sister is vegetarian, so that was why they had so many vegetarian/vegan options. We really like the decor, very pleasant and inviting dining experience. We both used the restroom before we left. Even during the busy lunch rush, they kept them well stocked and tidy.

Normally, I love Caribbean sushi and I go here quite often. However, today was a tragedy. I was not met with satisfaction. In fact, I was met with quite the opposite; dissatisfaction. We placed an order, drove to the restaurant, and paid for it. Upon arriving home, we discovered that our order was incorrect and we were missing one of our delicious poke bowls. We called back and replaced the order for the poke bowl and also requested a side of jalapeños. Once we arrived back home, we realized they failed a second time, and forgot the jalapeños. It's not worth the drive just for jalapeños, so I'll be forced to use hot honey instead.

One of a kind and unique sushi fusion experience. Great service and fun environment. Owner has a true passion. Order the chef's selection and you will not be disappointed.

11-11-2023 Went with my Son and D-I-L to his favorite restaurant. I had the Spicy Red Norimaki and a Salmon Poke bowl with added strawberries, masago, and Serrano pepper. Poke Bowl was beautifully presented, tasted great and was filling. Pickled ginger on both dishes was great. Exceptional customer service by friendly owner/chef and waitstaff. If you go, check hours account split shifts Tuesday-Friday and closed Sundays.

Quiet little spot off the beaten path. But such a treasure. When they say fusion they mean it. The spice level was hot but paired so well with everything! We will be back. Our server was also so helpful and attentive.

My daughter wanted sushi for her birthday dinner and we decided to try somewhere new. Firstly, I loved the atmosphere, such a fun tropical vibe! Our server was excellent and gave good recommendations. We had a boba tea, arepitas for an appetizer, two tempura rolls and a poke bowl. Everything was absolutely fresh and delicious. The arepitas were so good, I've craved them since!

I love all their tempura rolls and miso soup! Owners and staff are very attentive and nice!

The food is great, service is awesome! Ambiance is cute and makes you feel at home. The sushi portions are huge (that's all I've gotten there)

I will be honest. I had very low expectation when I ordered because the name of the restaurant threw me off. I am glad I tried the poke bowl though. I had half/half (sushi rice with mixed greens) with ahi tuna, and I added spicy yellowtail and spicy tuna. I think I will just order extra ahi tuna next time because it was the nicest out of the three sashimi. I might try their tempura some day too

It was good but pricey. The rolls were well put together and tasted great and the selection was abundant.

Excellent food! Service is great! Ambiance is warm and cozy! It was recommended by some friends at QT and we were not disappointed.

Food was very good a little different offerings than traditional Japanese shushi and sadly no alcohol.

Small sushi places hidden in a large strip malls are always a toss up but this place is a gem! Really good sushi, garlic edamame, & fast service!

Absolutely wonderful...best sushi in Tulsa This is now our sushi place. We decided to try it out after reading the reviews..found it hard to believe as most were 5 stars....and here I am giving 5 stars as well. No complaints, and it did not take long to get our food either.

This is our favorite place to get sushi, hands-down! we love everything we have gotten there and the staff is so nice.

After hearing about Caribbean Sushi from multiple friends and family members, the hubs and I decided to give it a try. And are we GLAD we did!!! Their menu has something for everyone. Today I enjoyed the GF Vegan Poke Bowl (YES, those are fried plantains in the picture ), the vegan sushi roll, and the fruit & chili roll. I'm not kidding when I say this was the best sushi either of us have ever tried. . As if the food wasn't good enough, we were fortunate to have the opportunity to meet the chef (who is also the owner) and he was a joy to speak with. It is evident that he has a passion for making meals from fresh whole foods which speaks to my heart (and my belly). . We will definitely be back as I'm certain this will be our new regular place for lunch/dinner dates. . Love supporting my local business entrepreneurs!

Who would have thought that a hole in the wall sushi joint in Broken Arrow, OK would offer the best sushi in the Tulsa Metro area? Better than In The Raw. I said it. Cheaper, too.

A friend and I shared the 3 rolls Omakase platter and it was divine! I don't know what everything was but I do know we had eel, tuna and yellowfin tuna on our rolls. We sat up at the sushi bar and talked to the chef while he made it. He explained everything to us and added strawberries to one of the rolls for a hint of sweetness. Super fresh sushi with to die for flavors this is absolutely my new favorite sushi place in the Tulsa area.

Small sushi restaurant, and we went during a week night so there was only one server but she was really nice and attentive. I've always been curious about this place because I don't hear about it much. The quality in the fish was excellent and the rolls were so good. They don't offer a lot of kitchen entree so I would only highly recommend if you truly want sushi. I can't wait to go back! We got the saba, mahka roll, and the carribean. All excellent choices

Some of the best sushi in the Tulsa area. Try the unique rolls but the Salmon Poke bowl is incredible.

Omg their poke bowl with mango is the best I've ever eaten. And their coconut rice pudding is fantastic!! Love the owners and staff as well!

Yum! We loved our dinner here. We asked our waitress to make the selection of rolls for us and it was fabulous. Nice mix of flavors and some unique rolls that we loved. We sat at the bar and enjoyed speaking with their friendly staff.

By far Our favorite place to get sushi in Tulsa! Great atmosphere, friendly staff. The food is great portions and fairly priced. Food is Always given with great presentation which I feel like is part of the sushi experience, so never disappointed there :) I like how they have music videos playing of artists from other countries, it makes for a great conversation piece when you are sitting at the bar with significant other or friends.

Great great sushi!!! Always fresh and DELICIOUS I love eating at Caribbean Sushi. The owner is a chef and prepares your food. I recommend this to all my family and friends. None of us has ever had bad food or service there.

Fave sushi ever! He's so creative and we love it here!! They make us feel like family and the sushi taste so much more fresh than anywhere else!

The service was great! Server was super on top of things, happy, and helpful. I loved the garlic twist to the edamame. It was fantastic! The volcano shrimp roll was not my favorite. It had an odd flavor to it. But I liked the tempura shrimp roll. Probably won't be back but it was a decent meal with friends I hadn't seen in a while!

It's a different kind of sushi. Very sweet and fruity. If you are looking for authentic Asian food, this isn't it. But if you are looking for something different this is a great place to try. The staff is great and the food (while not your usual sushi and Asian turn out) is tasty when you are in the mood for something different and flavorful.

i have been coming here since 2018 and it has been my favorite place to eat ever since. the owners and staff are so kind & the food is literally a 10/10. my favorite items are the garlic edamame & the sweet veggie roll. if you try this place you will not regret it!

This place is sooooo good. The only thing that stops it from getting 5 stars is its a little pricey. However, the sushi bowls especially are awesome. Whatever you do, DON'T modify the bowls (unless you have an allergy or something) because the fusion of Caribbean and Japanese is delicious and where else can you get it really? Also, the miso soup is delicious and bottomless!

I went to this sad excuse for a sushi restaurant back about three months ago (wrote a review that they would not let me reply back to). Anyway, this place tries to do a Japanese/Caribbean fusion type of sushi. They fail. When I visited I ordered 6 rolls and all of them were really fishy (I get that its sushi but it was bad fish fishy). I alerted my waitress and the chef came out. He asked what I didn't like, I told him the fish was not fresh. He then proceeded to ask me if I had eaten sushi before. I informed him that I have eaten sushi my whole life (fine establishments like Nobu). He then proceeded to tell me that I was probably not use to sushi. I asked to have two rolls that my party had not touched taken off the bill and they refused. This place is a joke and I now plan on putting reviews about this awful place everywhere since they disabled my response on the original thread. Keep up the awful work guys!!!!

You do not want to overlook this place. It's hidden away in a shopping place and from the outside isn't super inviting primarily because of its location. Once you go in you realize it's kind of a hidden gem. It was pretty busy when we went but service was still good. The rolls are so good! Not typically a fruit on sushi kind of person but it was all good. Going back for sure!

Still best sushi in Broken Arrow big rolls , the best miso soup and the Chef will make you own unique sushi roll ....you won't be disappointed

I've been coming here since they opened back in the day and everytime I've came I've never been let down with quality of service, or product. Great place to eat with your family and friends. Very affordable, good food, with generous servings. Cheers
