Me and my family stopped in for dinner. The atmosphere was good. Our first food server was very attentive. Unfortunately it was the end of his shift and the second food server was lackluster. Unfortunately the food was a bit of a mess. We ordered calamari and they brought a random fish patty. We also got there fish sticks and shrimp jalapeno poppers. Which were completely saturated in Grease. our other dishes were okay.

I live close by, and I am so glad that there is a good Mexican food option in DTLV. We came on a Friday night, and it wasn’t very busy, but the service and food were excellent. The classic margarita on the rocks was deliciously fresh. The margarita mix didn’t taste acidic as if it were from a bottle. It tasted home made! Yum. The shrimp chile relleno with ranchera sauce was very good. The sauce was flavorful, and I liked the rice too. My husband ordered the ceviche Veracruz, and he liked it a lot. They are currently redoing their menu, so some items were not available, which was no big deal because their menu is already extensive. I’m excited to see what new items they offer i the future. This place is really good. I look forward to coming back.

Upon arrival we were seated right away by the hostess. Our waiter was nice, attentive and offered his opinion on a few dishes which was helpful in our decision. We decided to go with the Mary Tierra mocajete, quesabirria tacos and the tropical ceviche. Ok just ate. Oh my Lord! This place was so far above expectations. Food amazing the service fantastic. Enrique our server was solid. Absolutely will be back again.

First time visiting this restaurant & would come back again! Great food & the agua fresca (jamaica) was delicious , more on the sweet side which is how I prefer it! Our server Victor was very attentive & provided amazing service!

We came during the day it was just us and another table, you’d think that says a lot abt a place in a negative way but let me tell you NOT EVEN CLOSE! Exceptional service and our server was so kind. Food preparation time is a bit of a wait but worth it. Tortillas and everything is hand made🫶🏻. Loved it here, I am 33w pregnant and had a nice meal and time here. Very clean :) we didn’t get a picture of the food it was gone before I could remember to lol

Everything I have to say about this place is good. The food was amazing and the portion sizes are large. We shared a ceviche between 4 people and got two molcajetes worth of food. The quality of the food was excellent and our server was great. Good atmosphere. Would recommend.

Victor was an amazing waiter. Beria omelette during brunch was amazing. Cafe and ceviche was very good. Must try!

The food here was amazing. Better than I was even expecting, and some of the dishes came with extra food than advertised on the menu. The food may take a while to come out, but I promise it is worth the wait because they are preparing it perfectly and with love in the food that you can taste. Very reasonably priced as well. Would definitely recommend to anybody looking for delicious, top-quality Mexican food.

Our server Enrique was incredibly attentive '! And just an all around great guy . The food is different flom most Mexican restaurants. No enchiladas Tamales or other standard fare . A lot more seafood . I had the tuna torre. So good and husband had birria tacos ex excellent and the tacos were huge

We came to Vegas to celebrate my birthday and both the reservation for 7:30 p.m. we called a business at around 5:00 p.m. to confirm and also ask what time they close which the gentleman had notified us that we had to call a different phone number to speak to a manager for reservation information and that they close at 9:00 p.m. we went ahead and called the manager and we did not get a response and when we tried calling the restaurant back we got no response. When we arrived for our reservation there was a lock at the door. A gentleman came to the door and had signaled that they were closed we let him know that we had called and made a reservation and that we were told they close at 9:00 p.m. and he just shook his head and told us that they were closed. I let him know that I had purchased a Groupon for this reservation and all he did was not his head and say sorry. I was very excited to try this place out because of the reviews and looking at their menu the food looked amazing but the fact that they were not open at the times that they set out for their business was a bummer and we will definitely never be coming back here again.

Carmelita's Mar & Tierra is a real deal very nice Mexican Seafood (lots of shellfish, shrimp) and Steak Restaurant (T-bones, tomahawk) that is located near to downtown in not the nicest area but it is nice, clean, and attractive inside. They offer a bar area and have booths around the room and in the center are traditional tables. They also have a small stage for entertainment. We started with margaritas and the complimentary chips and salsa. The top shelf margarita was delicious and the happy hour margarita was strong enough. The salsa was very good and did run spicy. We tried an appetizer that was described as fish croquettes with chipotle aioli. They were tasty and were freshly made. They were very generous with the chipotle aioli. I only needed a couple spoonfuls and wasted a lot of it. My husband said that the shrimp a la diabla was one of the best he tasted in Las Vegas so far. He said that the rice and beans were delicious. the shrimp were cooked to perfection and was in a delicious but crazy spicy sauce. He doesn't think that most people would be able to eat it because of the extreme heat. Somehow he ate it but it really was too spicy hot for him. I tried the (tuna tower) called torre de tuna. It was very generous in size. It was very fresh tasting and did have good flavors to it. To me it seemed like more of an appetizer that can feed several people. The menu says that it contains rice. The rice was left off of mine so I got more fish. Our server was attentive and answered all questions that we had. Plates were cleared in a timely manor. If you want to try a nicer Mexican Restaurant this is it.

Really unique tasting food as not a typical Mexican food place. Service was great and friendly. Ultra expensive however at over $30 per person. Unfortunately they had no ice so no cocktails.

Absolutely a must try. Best seafood in the city. The flavor in everything is great. I'm not Mexican, but I know great food when I taste it.

So GOOD!! The chips and salsa were delish! Definitely get the cafe de olla! The service was great and food was amazing. Worth stopping by!! Bonus the bathrooms were clean and cute!

My cousin Randy and I went to eat dinner here recently. This is a huge restaurant with lots of menu items. We made it in time for happy hour. Our server Enrique was amazing. He helped me narrow down the best item on the menu. The food was very good. Not a lot of people inside so I hope it gets busier. We had wonderful happy hour margaritas. Very strong for $5. We had the deep fried ice cream dessert, it was delicious! There was a good DJ and the atmosphere was pleasant. Bathroom was clean and spacious. We will definitely go back here again soon. My husband and I went for the first time tonight. We have been supporting Leticia Mitchell since she opened her first place in Centennial Hills. The food here is so delicious as her other locations. In fact, it's a step above all the rest. Our waiter was very attentive and served us well. My husband gave him a sizeable tip. And the place is a very lovely venue that would be great for an event. This is a true diamond in the valley! EXCELLENTA, my friend!

I have traveled 80% of Mexico, have tried authentic foods all over. Oaxaca Mole, Puebla Mole. I can say this restaurant has one of the best Mole. I met Lety the owner and she is a great host. The service was fantastic. Recommend highly.

I'm a lover of lettys on main and decided to come in for lunch. We ordered the shrimp ceviche and shrimp tostada to start. Both were on point. Burria omelet was enough to feed two people. This is definitely a hidden gem in Las Vegas. All of the food was excellent and the staff (victor) was awesome. I will definitely be coming back for brunch on Sundays.

Fast, friendly, flavorful and filling! The Molcajete Azteca is very generous, bring help to finish. The Torre De Tuna is both a work of art and a fantastic dish! I will be back!

when I first walked in was around 7pm the entire place was empty so I was a little nervous at first but as soon as she brought me the chips and salsa actually warm tortilla chips (homemade) I knew it was going to be good ...... I can't even begin to put into words how amazing my food was...as a foodie from the east coast I've tried pretty much every birra taco from New York to here and this was by far the best..... I mean the homade tortilla shells to the consume was amazing !!!! the mole chilaquiles were out of this world you can taste all the spices it is defianlty a hidden gem I will be going every night before I leave and I can't wait to try their brunch !!!!! please check it out worth every penny and the amount of food

So I did not actually eat the food as I was here for an event I was working for several influencers. The staff, management and the owner are very friendly. But looking at the food and cocktails that were being brought out they all looked absolutely AMAZING!!!!!! Parking is a bit challenging as there is limited parking up front but there is a back parking lot. The area can be sketch so be prepared for that but it may be worth coming by looking at the food and drinks.

The Food was delicious! The ambiance is awesome! I can't forget The service by our server Enrique who has the same name as me! He was terrific! All of the staff help my birthday be so much fun! Including the Chef Leticia! Congratulations your restaurant is beautiful and everyone there deserves an applause! Can't wait to return!

Friday night 630ish music pumping not too busy nice big open place decorated very nicely!! Service was a bit slow but food was good had dozen oysters and molcajete. Didn't try any alcoholic beverages but they looked good the restroom was a surprise very cool felt very proud to use it hehe!

The service here was amazing, our waitress was sweet and attentive. The food and atmosphere however lacked. The meat was dry, and just not impressive in taste, presentation was lacking and different than advertised. When we were there we were the only customers at 6PM and a DJ blasting music...just an odd environment for a restaurant. It's also extremely overpriced for the quality--what they charge is insane for the quality of what you get.

DJ was awesome on a Friday night! Fun atmosphere and cool bday celebration for our friend!

Very good food and attentive service. We ordered the mimosa bottle service with guava, cucumber and mango juice, the Tres Leches French Toast and the chilaquiles molcajete. It was a LOT of food. I didn't try the steak in the chilaquiles but my friend said it deliciously and well seasoned. I tasted the non meat parts of the dish and it was very good. Well seasoned with a nice spice to it. The French toast was also very good.

Wow! This place was amazing, total surprise we had tried several plates burro enchilado, quesabirrias, tacos dorados and shrimp tostadas all were great. Can't wait to come back. Has become my favorite Mexican food

Me encanto este lugar le doy 10 de 10 el ambiente fue bueno con buena música el lugar muy limpio y para empezar estuvimos muy bien atendidos por Enrique siempre estuvo al pendiente de nuestra mesa muy amable y siempre atento a lo que nos faltara nos trajo chips y salsa muy rica por cierto pedimos molcajete mar y tierra y pulpo zarandeado muy rico sabor en ambos y sirven muy abundante con tortillas hechas a mano horchata y agua de piña súper recomendado cuando regrese a Las Vegas voy a probar algo diferente del menú!

The place was great, music, food was delicious, drinks are also refreshing, we ordered a Guava lemonade! Fast and friendly service.

Lamentablemente este lugar es un NO, voy a resumir mi experiencia, primero que no hay mucho parking el lugar está bien decorado pero olía a drenaje fuerte, segundo el mesero es gentil pero no sabe nada del menú está perdido, no sabe sugerir ni explicar que lleva un plato, tercero mi esposo pidió unas tostadas aguachile y el pulpo estaba malogrado olía feo, lo poco que pedimos no lo recomiendo, No regreso, es otro restaurante mexicano más y hay opciones mejores en Las vegas

This is my third visit to Carmelita's, first two visits were in the morning and food/service was awesome. Third visit was in the evening, staff was friendly, food was decent. Great options on the menu, we've had Ceciche de Camaros, enchiladas de mar, breakfast chilaquiles and but the table favorite was the chicharom with guacamole!

We had lunch here today and the food was great! I had Tacos la Gobernadora, best I've had. Atmosphere is nice, it looks like it's been around a long time, but I think it's pretty new. Parking looked tight, but I noticed a sign saying parking in rear when we left. Service was very good, perfect amount of attention.
