Very good food but service and overall experience was zero. It was our 2x after having being before Covid with a positive experience and I brought some guests this time, but it was very disappointing and a pity. (I wanted to bring another couple of guests next week but I will choose another restaurant). It is not worth the price you pay, especially if you want to make a good impression with your guests. It is not enough the good food when in a fine dining restaurant and knowing to spend a lot of money, I expect also a certain experience and to be treated with kid gloves.
As per the food, we had a 5-course menu, it was everything very good, except 1 appetizer with tomato (too simple and nothing special) and dessert (not very tasty, and too much a mix of flavours that we didn’t think were well combined).
BUT for a fine dining restaurant where I spent +100€ per person, I expect also to receive a very good service and atmosphere, while:
1. Waiters were free style and not trained, one guy looked lost when talking and one guy was definitely too arrogant. And it’s not our task to remind repeatedly to refill water and wine glasses if we pay +100€! Also not properly dressed for a certain restaurant level - we didn’t understand initially they were waiters.
3. We sat outside but looked to be eating at the beach. Without any sets on the table (okish) and we were FORCED (like if babies) to keep our cutlery after each dish (only 1x change), that needs to be a customer decision not your request!
4. No small plates for placing the bread. They bring the bread at the beginning in a basket and then where should we place it, on the naked table!? And if I ask for other bread, can’t wait 15 mins because you have to cook it, if I ask for it, it’s because I need to eat it with my dish, not for dessert.
5. Long waiting time between dishes (almost one hour per their dish) and no apologies, after we complained.
