Casa del Toro

Hot damn this is the spot! We were in the hood and craving some yummy Mexican - Casa del Toro did not disappoint. From the funky eclectic styling (there’s a guitar on the ceiling above the bar!) to the “just right size” tacos and excellent service to round it off. The cocktails go down so smooth (and fast) despite being an appropriate size for the cost. Go for the Mistress and try tequila instead of mezcal if you aren’t down with the smoke. Yummy spiced chips with guac was the ideal way to start. Pick a few street tacos as long as one is the short rib (our fave). Save room for dessert as their flan is second to none. We will be back for a repeat and to catch some of the known aerial acrobatics too!

We came in on a Monday night at around 7:50pm. The restaurant was pretty empty. Got immediately greeted and sat down. Ordered chips and salsa with guacamole. Guac was good, salsa tasted like Italian sauce. We had 4 tacos each. The bistec one was the best, short rib was my least favorite. My fiend liked the fish best and the mushroom one the least. Service was fine, but not sure if I would come back.

Amazing place! We enjoyed everything we ordered and service was surprisingly fast. We had a fun chat with the manager who was super nice and she even surprised us with free táquela shots that we took with her and our waiter. Definitely check this place out if you enjoy Mexican food

Fresh and delicious food and drinks. Happy hour is from 5-7 with half price cocktails. Cocktails are creative and made by an experienced mixologist. I recommend the five mix and match tacos for $20. There are vegetarian and vegan options. If you love tacos visit for taco Tuesday for $3 tacos. Great service too. Highly recommend.

We sat in the hidden garden in the back on a cloudy Tuesday night. Totopos was a little by spicy and delicious. Salsa vas good guac was great. Cocktails are different and delicious

Great neighborhood spot for good Mexican food! We enjoyed the food and cocktails; and had fun watching the aerial show. Totally recommend it if you are looking for a nice, cozy evening in an eclectic ambiance with delicious Mexican food and good service!

Friendly server, good prices, love the chips, and drinks are spot on. Had a margarita, chips (yum), guac, salsa, and chicken burrito. All was delicious! 😁👍

Went for a pre-show meal. Everything was fresh and full of flavor. Recommend the tacos. Staff was very friendly and even cleared up a bill mix up in a matter of minutes. Would certainly return.
