If you are searching for hotel where you can feel peaceful, happy and just like home — «Casa Faena» is the best option to enjoy Miami Beach! I spend in hotel 3 weeks and I could even live there.) The atmosphere is so amazing, very unique decor, all people that work in hotel are super nice, friendly and helpful, especially Gerrit and all reception workers, I loved Diyana and Italian boy. The restaurant in «Casa Faena» is always busy, food and drinks are very delicious and perfect service, every Saturday life music. For beach just need to cross the road, 2 min walk, it’s clean, not crowded and safe! Hotel provides: beach towels, umbrella, chairs and u r free to go to beach any time, not like in other hotels till 6 pm. Cleaning was very impressive, every day they did decor of my toilet paper, I never saw in hotels such a cute thing.) In room there is free water, coffee machine and cream for coffee, also I had kettle and microwave. I stayed in hotel alone, but I never was bored, enjoyed every moment, felt secured and absolutely satisfied and happy. Will definitely return there again and again to get that unforgettable vibes! So I Highly recommend «Casa Faena» not only for holiday, but also for long stay! For more information about travel around USA — follow my instagram @anna_maria_simone

I had an incredible stay here. The modern rooms was comfort, but the real highlight was the service. Gerrit, the General Manager, made sure my experience was seamless, offering personal recommendations and ensuring everything ran smoothly. Im addition, im the hotel's restaurant, Kim provided exceptional service—she was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. Her recommendations were spot-on. If you're looking for a fantastic hotel with amazing hospitality in the heart of South Beach, The Casa Faena hotel is a right place. Highly recommended!

I had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful hotel for several days with my father, and from start to finish, the experience exceeded our expectations. The atmosphere is beautiful and relaxed.||We met the Gerrit, the hotel manager on our first day and he was extremely accommodating to my elderly Father’s needs. In addition, every staff member we encountered — from the receptionists and restaurant team to the housekeepers — was incredibly polite, friendly, and hospitable plus they all spoke multiple languages which was great to see!||One particular moment that stood out was on our final day. Our flight was delayed, and the hotel offered us a generous late check-out. They also kindly stored my luggage while I had a last minute massage.||We loved the chill vibe of the hotel and the friendly and accommodating staff.

Really nice building and nicely decorated hotel. |Good AC and comfy beds and pillows.|Amazing beach nearby which (in June) was almost empty - it's not something you often get to experience so that was amazing.|Easy to get around Miami given it's proximity to two large roads.|Had a couple of small issues with our booking as we booked through a third-party but Mudo the manager was very attentive and sorted all these out.

Alan Faena has created yet another exquisite masterpiece. In fact, we prefer this location to its big sister down the block, Faena. ||The interior design seamlessly blends Spanish colonial architecture with tropical themes. The expansive great room is perfect for conversation, reading or a few hours of relaxing. It feels like you are in a private home.||The Campo restaurant has delicious food; we enjoyed breakfast, lunch and dinner there. ||Nicola in Reception was so helpful and welcoming. Our king suite was very comfortable and it had a balcony; we enjoyed the view, breeze and the ocean view.

We stay at the Casa Faena every time we visit Miami. We feel it captures the culture and essence of the city in a beautifully chic and individual way. The hotel’s design, amenities and ambience are blend of luxury and contemporary aesthetic. The staff are kind, friendly and highly attentive. Orlando, Markel, Diana and Gerrit make sure your stay is as best as possible and nothing is too much trouble. We’ve stayed in most of their rooms across all size categories and love how each room is unique in its own design. Miami can be hectic, however, we love this hotel for its quieter location. Opposite the beach is ideal for our morning walks and beach time relaxing. The hotel has a wonderful food selection through breakfast, lunch and dinner, amazing cocktails, stunning ice creams and live music to enjoy. We are always excited to come back.

I’ve stayed at many of the very top hotels on Miami Beach, including The One Hotel, the Faena, and others at this level. I must say that Casa Faena is excellent. It’s charming, chic, spotless clean. |My room was impeccable. The linens, towels, robes, all wonderful. |I had breakfast and dinner and the food and service is at the high Faena level of excellence. |I’ve stayed at this hotel many times in the past 18 months and it continues to raise its level. |What I’ve really noticed is since November of 2024 that there is a General Manager that always seems to be present and engaging and he is very in tune to detail. All of The staff is kind, patient, professional, and helpful. |I travel extensively and I expect a lot. I truly receive a 5 star experience every time I’ve stayed and again something is rising even higher in the past 6 months and I think it relates to the new GM.

This hotel is a little treasure of South Beach. Very cute and cozy environment, super clean, nicest stuff ever, 2 min walk to the beach. It’s close to restaurants but the area itself is peaceful and relaxing. We will definitely stay there next time we are in South Beach. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Booked over Labor Day weekend and was shocked that rates were so low considering this is literally right across from the beach and it's big brother fancy property, the Faena Hotel. It's a historical building and the decor is cute and well thought out. Rooms are clean and spacious, they follow the theme so don't expect modern and bright. Nothing fancy but there were also no high expectations. Bed is on the harder side and noise can be an issue but luckily for us, the area was rather calm labor day weekend and we had zero issues with noise. I was concerned when I heard engines revved at some point later in the night but it quickly dissipated and there were no additional disturbances. Parking is across the street in a public lot with metered parking. It's free from like 3 AM to 9 AM or something like that so you'll have to be mindful of your meter or your parking ticket is like $38. You can also valet at the Faena if you prefer but i assume you'd have to lug your luggage over. Overall it's a great option to stay if you want a good location, no frills, simple and an affordable price.

Yelp
While I enjoyed my stay at this hotel, there were a few things that knocked down my rating a bit. Starting out with what I did like, the location, decor and ambience was super cute. The front desk associate was kind and helpful with all of our requests. There's a great rooftop with bar service and lounge chairs which is a great touch for a small boutique hotel! What I didn't love were the rooms. While the rooms were a bit outdated and the furniture was a bit random, the biggest issue was how thin the walls are. I could hear entire phone conversations the person in the next room was having so much so that it genuinely felt like we were in the same room. Every creak and cough you can hear through the walls. Also, our toilet broke twice and we had to switch rooms, but they were super accommodating. Overall a convenient hotel with a great location, reasonably priced and close to the beach.

Yelp
Pretty decent hotel, but only if you get an upgraded room. The basic rooms are very stark and have small beds. Restaurants and bars throughout the hotel are quite good. Unfortunately it's quite expensive for what you get.

Yelp
Had an amazing 2 night stay, got lucky with an incredible rate on the hotels tonight app. Room was large and super clean, front desk agents were super helpful and friendly. Looking forward to my next stay!

Yelp
They charge for a wake up fee. I'm leaving to the airport and they charge a fee for an early morning wake up call.

Yelp
Beautiful, historical hotel. Loved the decor and ambience. We stayed in a standard queen room and it was quite roomy. Bed was super comfortable I loved that the sink was separate from the shower/toilet-I can do my makeup and hair while my guy takes a shower etc. There was a little condensation dripping from the AC but it didn't really bother us much The Lavazza machine in our room was a highlight for me Like other reviewers have said-the walls are thin and it's a noisy hotel We stayed on the third floor and had a room that could be adjoining-the rooftop patio/bar is on the 4th floor and so expect to hear music from 5 PM-10 PM/11 PM. We could hear everything our neighbors were doing/talking about, but we just turned the tv volume up We stayed there on Tuesday-Friday but I can imagine it getting a little more louder on Friday/Saturday night All this didn't bother us much, but if you are looking for a peaceful night-this isn't your hotel It was nice that they gave us complimentary chairs/towels/umbrellas but I much prefer to not have to lug everything across the street, plus I prefer lounge chaises Circa 39 Hotel down the street, is the same price, but they actually have their own beach w/ chaises and umbrellas set up-because of this we probably will be staying at Circa 39 next time The restaurant and the rooftop patio were a nice treat-the branzino in banana leaf was one of the best dishes I've ever had Definitely make sure you go to the mothership-Faena-it's just down the street and their breakfast is amazing

Yelp
Horrible service Don't even bother coming here if you want to waste your money and wait 30 minutes from everything The bathroom was disgusting

Yelp
Location is great !!The place is old However is very Chick, need a little improvement with technology....The Costumer Services is fabulous!!! Everybody is super nice and professional..they make me feel very welcoming and special ..Jorgito in the front desk was professional and very sweet...The only one thing I didn't apriciate was an Asian woman at the restaurant, very rude...the rest of the staff deserve 10 ....

Yelp
Location for this hotel is great. Steps from the beach - and lounge chairs and umbrellas are included in your room price. The decor is nice for a historical building. The main interior room is stunning and great for photos. Being a hotel however, the service was mediocre at best. I went to the restaurant and ordered a coffee at around 5pm. The server literally served me cold coffee. When I asked her about it, she told me it was made at 6am which is why it was cold and they don't make more throughout the day. Why serve it to me then??? Why have it on the menu after breakfast time??She told this to me in a way like I should have known this. I sent it back. This is very basic service skill a hotel should have. Pretty unacceptable. I really want to give this hotel more than 3 stars but it's super unfortunate the lacked in service. Thanks for the cold coffee?

Yelp
We ate at Casa Faena twice. With all of the wonderful food in South Beach, it means something when you go back twice in five days. First, Caesar our server treated us like royalty. And, his knowledge of the Argentine Faena complex, its restaurants, hotels, origins, chefs, owners is quite impressive, and he shares in such a way to make it a delightful dinner plus. The food, oh, the food, so memorable. Our dinners were spectacular. I had the sea bass in a grapfruite reduction with mashed potatoes, carrots and cucumbers, presented so artistically, I simply must learn the technique for parties. Hubby had the seafood pasta, and Caesar gladly switched out the marina for a pesto sauce, which was very tasty. The entrees were around $25, really a good value for the quality. Our Sunday brunch, on return, was also lovely--quite a bit more expensive. Our tab was $85, which included unlimited mimosas--I could only drink one and a half; I think maybe Jay had 3--wasn't counting. I had the flatbread with chorizo and tomatoes--really good, and Jay had the poblano peppers with huevos, which he thoroughly enjoyed. I think this casa is worth a side trip if you are anywhere close. Say hello to Caesar for us.

Yelp
It is difficult when you come with all your suitcases and not having a valet waiting to help. No breakfast service or room service, no gym. If you want to use the beach they provide towels, chairs an umbrella but you have to carry it yourself. We couldn't use any of the facilities of the main hotel. I stayed here for a wedding and would not recommend it to anyone.

Yelp
What a great choice! Plan to park on the street and walk through the front doors of the hotel. The bartender served the floor and was really friendly and professional. The menu has lots of variety and everything looked good. I had the spinach and cheese empanadas first. They were incredible. Perfect temperature. Cheese the melted and not too hot or cold. Made me wish I had just ordered more for my entree. I had the turkey chili and sweet potato fries. It was really good too. Just enough of a serving to fill you up. I added tabasco and it was just right.

Yelp
So sad this place has potential. But they miss the mark. Price is so overpriced and online photos should be removed as false advertisement. The service is mediocre. No coffee in the rooms but it dose have coffee maker lol. I Went downstairs and complained to the front desk giving them a chance to tell me why the bathroom look laughing like the pictures. I actually showed the girl a picture of the bathroom that was moldy and in desperate need of caulking. Her response to me it was an old which is beside the point. I would recommend I stay somewhere else. The hotel itself is beautiful but the rooms are severely outdated and the bathrooms are disgusting. Also they charged you and resort fee but the hotel has no resort. There is no spa there is no pool so I'm not sure what the resort fee is for I am changing it to a 1 star after I received a lame response from the management.

Nathalie D.

Yelp
It's such a shame that the service is so bad. The hotel is charming but room service is pitiful. Also I've been trying to reach them about my hotel bill and no one answers the phone for days...they don't answer emails... like what is this?!

Yelp
Casa Faena is a rare and cute boutique Spanish style hotel when you can easily find modern and/or Art Deco style hotels everywhere. The hotel ISN'T updated (this means old school everything, pretty much), probably to preserve its historic charm, but that didn't really take away from it for me. It has everything it needs--cable TV and a small refrigerator, even a rooftop patio. Umbrellas in each room for those rainy afternoons. Super soft robes. And a good price. As a guest at Casa Faena, you can use the gym at Faena two blocks away, but you can't use the pool or their beach chairs. In our room, the sink was OUTSIDE of the bathroom, which was a bit awkward, but simultaneously convenient. The bed was super comfortable. The water was hot :-) We got a glass of champagne at check-in. The beach is across the street with towels and chairs as part of the small resort fee ($12 or $14, I think). We also had breakfast at the hotel restaurant once. I got a bacon and egg croissant, and it was decent. They had other things on the menu that looked good. They had live music duet there Sunday morning when we were there. Nice and chill. Can't complain. Really cute spot if you want something different or are trying to save a buck. And we made friends with practically the entire staff--Jerry, Armando and can't remember the others' names. Really cool peeps. 3.5 stars rounded to 4.

Alexandra C.

Yelp
Incredibly loud construction starting at 8 AM in the hotel. Shouldn't be renovating while accepting guests. If you want to sleep, don't come here.

Linda M.

Yelp
This place is trash. It's a disco w a few rooms. It's like sleeping on a speaker at a disco. In addition to the Loud nonstop music from 6 to midnight there is no sound proofing anywhere. You can hear the people in the next room talking even with the ear plugs jammed into your ears and you hear every car that goes by. This is a scam. Unfortunately I booked thru Booking.com and now it's an ordeal to leave. Most of the clientele are drunk in halls talking loud. Constant bass beat. Trash music. Trash no soundproofing anywhere. Disgusting scam.

Yelp
Can I add another star???? We had an amazing experience here. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay extra special. Everyone was super helpful and friendly! The hotel is beautifully decorated and clean. Our room was spacious and bright. The entire hotel had a really nice fragrance. It is located in a quiet section directly across from the beach and close to restaurants and public transportation. Great experience all around! My only con was that the tub was small and not in the best shape, I guess because it is a historic hotel... I would say that was the only thing I did not like, but not a deal breaker. Great place to stay! Good food, great service, great location.

Yelp
I went to grab a quick lunch here since I work near by-- big mistake. From start to finish, it was an epic fail. I arrived and sat at the bar inside, and the waitress ignored me for a solid 10 minutes while serving tables outside. Ok, fair enough, she's alone and busy. However, the manager arrives and doesn't offer her help.. just frustration. So finally she comes over to me and says "LADY, listen are you ready to order? Because it will be a long while before I'm back.." ok so I take the hint, order my lunch and a cocktail. 20 minutes pass and the food comes, still no drink. Food is just ok-- you can tell the pasta is reheated and badly burned, but edible. Finally my drink is served, 30 min after ordering. At this point a table from outside comes in to ask about the three beers they ordered 30 min ago. Waitress tells them it will be a few more minutes. She promptly made my drink (which was actually surprisingly good-- considering she's not a bartender) and went back outside. When I asked a busser for my check, the waitress came back and said again "HEY LADY, are you done? I have a lot of people outside". Paid for my meal and left-- vowing to never return. Also why did the manager not help this girl at all??! Yes her service and demeanor sucked, but her manager could have "rowed the boat" with her instead of shouting how to steer the ship. Casa Faena has a LOT of work to do. Save your money and time and head over to the Faena hotel where they do service and food ABSOLUTELY RIGHT!
google avatar

John B.

Yelp
I liked the way the place looked, but what an unusual establishment. The front desk is a table, and you might have to wait a little if you get in late. Parking is terrible. Try to get a place in front. It is a good deal to park there. Food good, room good, but you can't go to the Faena and use the pool. They recommended we try and crash a different pool. I recommend they fix that problem soon. Top floor is nice but loud as hell.
google avatar

Yelp
We stayed for my birthday and had the greatest time at this hotel. From the moment you walk in with Christopher greeting you and he remembered my name the entire stay to the front desk young ladies we had a blast. The rooms were really clean and nice we had the Queen suite and it was laid out nice. ERIC the bartender was the greatest with his drinks and so much knowledge of the entire Miami scene!! He was AWESOME!!! He gave us lots of places to go to while we were there! We even extended our stay and the hotel staff worked to make sure we stayed with them!! And accommodated us with a room even though they were pretty full! Will def visit this hotel again!

Yelp
The decor is amazing ! I loved the vibe of the place. The menu has a lot of good stuff, I went for Sunday brunch. Their coffee is delicious and the Huevos Rancheros were good. The service is a bit weird, they don't have a host and you don't get told to sit down I just did. Our server only approached us and said "what you like" she didn't greet us but oh well. The food was amazing I would go back and hopefully I get another server.

Yelp
Its restaurant week here in Miami, Miami Spice!!! This is an awesome opportunity to try out places that one would not normally try out. This experience was ok. The jicama salad was missing the jicama?? it was brought later, salad seriously lacked seasoning, vinaigrette was well tasteless. The Vahlrona Alfajores (cookies with caramel filing) were delicious. The Pan seared corvina (fish) had a very nicely seared crust, well seasoned, moist, mild fish flavor, a tomato based sauce, and the arugula raisin quinoa, tomato salad on top was seasoned and tasty. The calamari was crispy, light, well seasoned, once dipped into the aioli, it was delicious. Good deal for $23 fro Miami Spice, but not necessarily worth the full menu prices.
google avatar

Francesca L.

Yelp
Went here for a quick girls Lunch. Super cute little place with impeccable decor. My friend and I ordered the wagyu empanadas and the cesar salad. The salad was delicious but the empanadas were incredible! A definite try if you're on Miami Beach and want a different experience.

Yelp
Certainly not a bougie luxury spot, but a wonderful boutique beach hotel. Casa Faena is kitty corner from the new Faena hotel and a 45 second walk to the beach. It's super casual but very pleasant, and everyone on staff was shockingly accommodating. They do do buckets of beers to bring to the beach, but the $45 price tag for Coronas sobered me up real quick and we bought the rest of our drinks at a nearby liquor store. One drawback - there's not a whole lot nearby. This is *not* south beach, which is a good thing if you're over 22 or have any sense of decency, but I do wish there was a broader range of restaurants/bars/things to do close by. *Of note, there is no pool nor access to the Faena's pool.
google avatar

Nikki P.

Yelp
Such great service! The staff is so kind and soo accommodating. The only thing is the walls are so thin. We were there for our anniversary and our neighbors tv kept us up all night. We could hear people talking on the phone too. Aside from that, the staff is top-notch and the patio is great for afternoon cocktails and people watching.
google avatar

Yelp
My company booked this hotel as part of a conference room block. Good location. Gorgeous lobby and atrium but the rest was not acceptable. Two days of cold and lukewarm showers. Very slow service in the bar area. My room was not clean. I took a shower and walked out of the bathroom - there was hair (not mine), debris and dirt on my feet as I walked around the room. So gross. The sound proofing between the rooms was not good. I could hear my neighbors conversations like they were in my room. The elevator was very slow. I had to call house keeping for a robe after they took it the first day. The staff also took my coffee cup so I had to call down and ask for another. It is like no one is paying attention here. There are too many other good hotels in Miami. Don't stay here. Very disappointed.

Yelp
I traveled to Miami by myself and stayed here from May 8th 2015 until May 13th. The hotel is very pretty on the inside and very clean. The staff are very accommodating and all of them are nice and friendly! I stayed in a queen suite which was huge....I had a small issue with lack of hot water in my shower, I asked to have it fixed twice but I'm not sure it ever got fixed, I took luke warm showers the whole week. The area around the hotel is under a lot of construction and I'm usually a very light sleeper, plus my room was on the side facing the construction, however the noise wasn't as bad as I expected. There is a public parking lot across the street from the hotel, it's free from 6pm-8am (I think) there's also another one at 27th and collier, otherwise if you have to park you'll need to find street parking. I didn't have a car while there but I figure that info is useful for people who will have one. There is access to the beach directly across from the hotel (literally a 2 minute walk if that) with their own lounge chairs and towels for guests to use There is no pool or fitness area in the hotel, but there is a boardwalk/running path on the beach which is super convenient. The restaurant in the hotel has some really good food!! ( the empanadas, burger and the Apple cinnamon bread pudding were my favorites) I ate lunch there most days. There's no breakfast that I saw even though the hotel website shows a breakfast PDF menu. There is a small deli/supermarket across the street and to the left of the hotel that you can get breakfast type things from. I definitely recommend using uber to get anywhere in Miami/Miami beach if you don't have a car. Super convenient, friendly, quick and cheap :) taking an uber from the hotel, it takes about 15 mins to get to south beach (without traffic) about 10 mins to get to Lincoln road mall and about 20-25 mins to get to the shops/entertainment area at bayside (located in downtown Miami near the port of miami) Overall my experience with Casa Claridge was excellent and I would definitely stay here again!
google avatar

Amanda V.

Yelp
What a cute and quaint place! The colors and vibe are so Miami. We definitely enjoyed our 2 night stay here. We were a road away from the beach and found everything easily navigable. To be able to secure the beach towels and chairs with our stay was also easy and convenient. The lobby breakfast (not included in our stay, but based on affordability made sense) was a great addition. Parfait and coffee = awesome morning start.

Yelp
Great gem overlooking the beach. Management was amazing from the beginning of my visit. Boutique hotel. Perfect location. Very quaint, gives u a feeling that u possibly might even be in Havana. Definitely a keeper.

Yelp
While on a last minute trip to Miami, I hopped on hotel tonight and booked Casa Claridge the same day I arrived. This turned out to be a home run from multiple standpoints. This hotel was recently renovated and now looks like an artsy paradise. When you walk in the hotel you instantly see a modernly decorated living room which serves as a community room for all guests. It's decked out in red lighting, couches and modern decor all around. The check in process to 45 seconds.. I know because I clocked it. Given that I you're in Miami and want to start enjoying the city, it doesn't get much better than that. The room, which was a basic room with a queen bed, was perfect. Just the right size for two people, modernly updated with white touches, tile floor, and an interesting bathroom set up that houses the sink outside the actual bathroom. The room is just spacious enough and full of light. Though it's modern, the decor seems specifically chosen to represent the classic culture of Miami and display a Spanish paradise vibe. I thought it was perfect. This perfect experience was then brought home by the bar in the lobby. I was fortunate enough to have the best mojito of my life made by the bartender in the hotel. This guy put as much effort into making a blueberry mojito as I've ever seen. It tasted even better then his exceptional effort. Amazing hotel, unique decor, classic Miami vibe and an awesome bar.. What more can you ask for? Well you also get free access to the beach across the street via the hotel. Comes complete with a concierge who walks the beach ensuring you have all that you need.. Winning! The only slight negative to this hotel is that there is only one elevator and it moves quite slowly. Otherwise, complete home run. Excellent experience here and an excellent option when in Miami. Short drive to the heart of south beach, but away from all the madness that comes with it. Congrats to this hotel. You'll definitely see me again!

Yelp
-1 STAR.... Elevator looks terrible. Checked in and the room was filled with smoke from the restaurant to the point where you could not see clearly inside the room. Mind you I came here on Valentine's Day for a romantic night. The only other room they said they had was a room with double beds... i called to see if they had 24 hour room service ahead of time because we were checking in late and they said yes. We got to our room @ 11:20 and tried to order room service and it was closed. I tried to leave and go to a nice hotel to save my Romantic night but they said they would not give me a refund. So they offered us free breakfast. We ordered pancakes, fruit plate, steak , parfait and churros... my girlfriend found 2x long blonde/brown hairs inside the buttermilk pancakes! This experience was soooooo terrible I had to write a review so someone else does not make the same mistake and book here. I expect a call from management ASAP. I'll leave my Number here 4 0 4 ... 3 7 6... 6 7 7 2 .

Yelp
Casa Faena is my home away from home. I live in NYC, but I'm in Miami for work once a month. I always choose Casa Faena out of all the hotels on the beach. It's small and intimate and feels so much like home. Estefania-Porta Sierra truly goes out of her way to make sure everything is perfect and taken care of... all with a smile. She's the reason I keep returning. This hotel is a must if you are looking for something a bit more design/art oriented with a personal touch , but still connected to all that is MIAMI beach. The beds so happen to be amazing too.

Yelp
Wow! Amid the large skyscraper-esque hotels and apartment buildings, Casa Faena stands alone as a beautiful Spanish style oasis. Parking was very simple, with a lot right across the street. Due to our 7:30am flight arrival, the front desk graciously allowed us to check in to the hotel at 9:00am. Our room was beautiful, clean, and we were greeted with complimentary champagne. As others have pointed out on Yelp, the hotel has a very distinct and relaxing scent throughout the hotel. After we settled in, we walked across Collins Ave onto the beach, where beach chairs, cushions, towels, and an umbrella were reserved and waiting for us. While many parts of Miami Beach can be crowded, loud, and rambunctious, the beach was peaceful and quiet. Great beach for wading, floating, snorkeling, and just enjoying the clear water. After we enjoyed touring around Little Havana and Coral Gables, we came back to the hotel to enjoy dinner at Los Fuegos across the street at Faena Hotel. So amazing and very delicious. Check out our review for that experience too! We only had the opportunity to stay for one night, but without a doubt it will be our hotel of choice every time we visit Miami!

Yelp
After a beautiful day at the spa at The Faena hotel we decided to stay overnight but they were booked so we booked into Casa Faena (across the street). Everything about this place was beautiful, welcoming and comfortable. Hanging out at the bar they were definitely a little busy and probably should I had a few more servers on but the general manager Armando Payton stepped in and started working with the servers and that was great to see. Being that I have been in this industry for over 30 years I notice everything and it was awesome to see such team work I also must definitely make mention of Stef the girl that greeted us and checked us in, She was so welcoming and sweet! Then there was the girl that checked us out another gem!!!! Lianet was so sweet and refreshing to speak with. When I tell you First class service, so professional and so welcoming they wanted us to feel like their home was our home and boy did we. It was truly a treat and we will be back often as we are locals and do many staycations! It was a Pleasant surprise ! Very impressed with this hotel and the team!

Yelp
Update: This was part of a pre honeymoon cruise mini vacation. This was in 2006, so things may have changed. I have understand there is new ownership, and the hotel is renovated. This could be really good. You should check it out! Original review: A street away from the ocean. Pretty hotel inside and out. It has character. Out of r first room had hair on the beds. The room did not feel barefoot clean. Management said they didn't have other rooms except an Alcove Suite of which was more expensive. They seemed hesitant to switch us. Of course, guests expect you to make the n happy, and we politely expressed this sentiment. Management finally decided to give us the suite at no extra cost. It still didn't feel barefoot clean, but it was cleaner and had cute character. Breakfast was average. Oh. They didn't have our reservation on file, we booked thru last minute deals. So it was a hassle just getting into the room.

Yelp
This hotel does have a certain shabby charm, but just wasn't my cup of tea. The good: The room rates are competitive. The location is good and very up-and-coming and in a year or two will be gold. But the best part of Casa Claridges is the staff. Every porter, every receptionist, every waiter is absolutely charming, accommodating and professional. Now for the bad... The problem here is the management. That is, the decisions made by management. Hard, uncomfortable beds. Musty smelling, uncomfortable, poorly functioning bathrooms. Average to poor restaurant and room service. No matter what anyone says, without comfortable beds and good bathrooms a guest's stay will never be a good one. OK, you can always find better food outside most hotels but for a boutique hotel like Claridges, having a competent kitchen - not just short order cooks - would be such a plus. The bottom line: fine for the average tourist who might not know better, but somewhere I wouldn't recommend to anyone over 30.

Yelp
The chic decor alone is a reason to check this place out! The service was great! The only downside is that the place was completely empty.. we were the only table on a Saturday for lunch, so it was a bit quite. The cocktails were delicious I got fresas en fuego- a spicy marg. To eat I got a burger with fries which was absolutely delicious!

Yelp
Amazing little boutique hotel in the heart of south beach. Beach is within walking distance, restaurants near by walking. Decor beautiful but only tiny and petty complaint the bathroom should be updated to match the beauty of the hotel but other than that tiny dumb gripe everything was perfect. Will be returning for a 2nd visit soon.

Yelp
Exceptional service / front desk staff helped us swap rooms, and gave us glasses of Champagne at arrival, and helped tend to business shipping needs for me without hesitation. Amazing furnishing in rustic bones and a great location.

Yelp
Beautiful hotel! The staff was very friendly. Really enjoyed our stay. The food was wonderful in the restaurant and bar. Great lounge in the inside as well on the outside. The architecture was exquisitely done, holds true to the era it was constructed. The aromatherapy smells set the tone to complete the sensual experience. Definitely would stay again.

Yelp
Went in for lunch on a Saturday at approximately 3:30pm. There was one other table being served beside us. Cute place, food was ok, very slow service and costumer service was ehhhh, we had to ask for water fill ups and they actually forgot my aguacate and kale to my dish so had to ask for that as well, and we were the only table being served.

Yelp
Nicer than expected. I booked this hotel for less the $100 a night and it was satisfactory. It was very clean, king size bed, partial ocean view and collins ave and even had a mini fridge (see uploaded pics). Its not a fancy hotel but i like the fact its across from a public beach...so there's your pool. The over all look is updated mediterranean. Lobby has restaurant and large indoor jacuzzi. Staff was very friendly. I agree with other reviewers about thin walls but if you are out and about all night, it does not matter. The bottom line is the cleanliness, location, plenty of street parking and value. Will stay here again.

Yelp
We ended up staying at Casa Faena due to complications with a reservation we had with another company and boy are we glad we stayed here. From the start the customer service was amazing, Johnathan checked us in and was able to turn our whole experience around when things got off to a rough start for our trip. We had breakfast in the dining area that's in the hotel and to food was amazing. Lazo and another nice lady helped us out. Lazo gave us some cool places to check out and all around had good conversation. Everyone made us feel like family. One thing to keep in mind is some of these buildings are historic so there's not much they can do to the actual building. Most of the hotels in south beach are older. Even with that being said we wouldn't hesitate to come back here. They also have a private beach area with seats and umbrellas where you can order food and drinks from which is very nice. Thank you to everyone that made our stay enjoyable.

Yelp
Casa Faena is a quaint, peaceful, charming hidden gem on Collins Ave. Away from the crowds (but not too far) and across from beach, this intimate hotel is perfect. We only spent the night but enjoyed our way stay immensely and cannot wait to return soon for a longer one. We were visiting Miami to attend Coldplay concert...we arrived really late to check-in. We were greeted warmly by Armando. He checked us in promptly, as he cld tell we were exhausted, and answered all our questions. As it was late and everything closed, he was helpful and making us feel comfortable. Within minutes we went to our room...Our room was adorable and had an old charm feel...very clean and cozy! The next morning we went up to roof deck where there are lounging chairs and tables and overlooking the city. It was so peaceful, We relaxed and got some sun before checking out. We thoroughly enjoyed our quick stay and will definitely be back! Highly recommend if you are looking for an intimate and relaxing getaway!

Yelp
hmmmmm this one is a bit tough for me. I want to love this place, i want to rave about this place. The design and aesthetic is what my dreams are made of, its fantastically done but the food....meh. A little over priced for the portions but its a South Beach spot so you already assume it will be costly. However one of the dishes we had came with black beans and they were SOOOOOOOO salty, it was like taking a bite of a salt lick. It must have been a major accident but it was just outrageous and I like salty foods. Well the waiter made a bit of a face but did change the dish for us because it was absolutely inedible. The rest of the food was good but again I just wish the portion was a bit more generous. Then we were having Bottomless Brunch and I kept having to ask for more, in total I had maybe 3 but I was hounding her for more Mimosas and it was really annoying. I don't want to pay for bottomless and have to chase you for it, dont offer something and then make me feel like Im inconveniencing you when i ask you for more. that really annoys me anywhere. After all its a beautiful spot and I would check it out again to hopefully remedy this bad situation.

Yelp
We went here for their Happy Hour - 4:00 - 7pm. It was really fun and enjoyable. Not many people, but it was good if you want to catch up and talk. We chose not to have any of the featured cocktails, but stuck to our Prosecco. Nice offering. We also enjoyed the fried calamari - the sauce was really good. The bartender was just great, very attentive and nice. There was a little seating area outside if it's not too hot. It's in an area of Collins besieged by the construction of the Faena growth, but if you can find parking, a nice oasis for a leisurely drink.

Yelp
Horrible service, horrible bathroom and fictional one line pictures. Not recommending this hotel!
