CASA GITANO

I can't wait to stay at Casa Gitano again. I loved almost everything about my stay there. The room, the terrace outside our villa, the beach is only steps away, scenery was the best part and there are lots of resting areas, including the 2 private areas outside our villa. The restaurant, Gitano Beach, was also steps away. And the staff, great people, very attentive and friendly. They go above and beyond to make your stay unforgettable. Special requests are fulfilled with great communication and planning. P.S. To the staff, thank you all, especially Anna, for planning everything with great detail.

Casa gitano is beautiful! It feels very secluded, cosy, jungle vibe and the staff are all lovely. We had a slight problem with our room on check in, but Era was so helpful in sorting us a new, better room and made it special for me with a birthday chocolate treat. It felt super personal and we loved the space. We would return. Only points of improvement are WiFi / general connection across the hotel and maybe some mosquito spray or net in the rooms may be helpful, and ideally some free bottled water or coffee as per standard in other hotels |Thank you again

Everything about this hotel was amazing. The bed was incredibly comfortable — we slept like babies. The service was professional and super friendly, and the hospitality was exceptional from the moment we arrived. The location is perfect, just steps from the beach, and the vibe is peaceful yet chic. Our room was beautifully decorated, and we especially loved the terrace area to relax in the morning. Highly recommended for a relaxing and stylish getaway!

Well where do I start, let alone finish… Our experience was magical all throughout our holiday, thanks to the dream team at Casa Gitano orchestrating the blissful time we had in paradise with five star service that truly made the world of difference! I would especially love to thank the manager Alejandro for his first class service (what a true gentleman) with exceptional attention to detail, generosity and genuinely care about our very sacred time in our spiritual home Tulum making our stay so memorable and understanding the meaningfulness of our trip… I’d also love to thank Ian, what a wonderful young man, who couldn’t do enough to make us happy and he went above and beyond to give us the greatest time of lives! The property is stunning, located on the best part of Tulum beach (also the best beach beds), it’s kept to such a high standard as was our sea view suite… It was spectacular with the most beautiful view of sunrise (perfect for morning meditation), it was well maintained by the lovely maid and the bed was sumptuous every night (very important for us), the food and non alcoholic beverages were absolutely delicious and we loved it so much that it literally became our kitchen, it truly felt like home! We can’t wait to return but until then we will miss you dearly Casa Gitano but will hold you in our hearts as our favourite place to keep returning home to again and again❣️

A peaceful oasis in the heart of the jungle. I started the day with a calming sound healing session and stayed in the Jungle Suite — beautifully designed, serene, and surrounded by nature. Perfect place to unwind and enjoy a more intimate, authentic side of Tulum.

I had the best time, so sad to be leaving! I would 100 percent come back. Loved how the hotel is on the beach and the food in the beach club is great. The beach is stunning and definitely go to Gitano jungle restaurant, amazing food and atmosphere! Era at the reception is so lovely and helpful also ❤️

Comfortable enough sink was leaking water over a blow dryer but no one ever got around to fixing it. asked staff to help us get cabs to go to “club gitano” (their club less than a mile away). Cab was almost as much as it was to take a two hour cab to Cancun and then we get to the club that is owned by the hotel where over 20 of us were staying at and the conceirage helped us get cabs to specifically go to and the hostess at the club would not let us in even though we had the wrist bands given to us from the hotel. The restaurant was out of most of the food we ordered for dinner and some members of our party didn’t get their food for over an hour. Whole place feels like a big scam that is not actually interested in guest experience and there are plenty of other nice hotels with staff that is helpful. My favorite was when I was checking out and the conceirage was annoyed he had to stop smoking his cigarette to help us.

Good overall stay. My only complaint is that outside the hotel’s main gate, there are stray dogs on the adjacent land. On multiple occasions, especially at night, they bark at pedestrians, and no one seems to be attending to them. The hotel also closes the main gate at night, so every time I return, I have to knock to get in while the dogs—often more than six—follow me and bark. On one occasion, a dog even grabbed my dress. Other than that, the hotel’s location is nice, and the beach club is beautiful.
