This is an amazingly beautiful space, wow. The service was impeccable, so attentive and really makes you feel special. The food is just incredible. Delicious apps, the Salmon melted away by my fork. The dessert and cocktails were also spot on. Then a belly dancer came out to top off the magical evening. Truly a special place, great for dates, out just a relaxing drink. Happy to finally come here. You should too. Enjoy

Came here to celebrate my cousin’s birthday and we had a great time. We did the $45 prix fix menu for the 9 of us. We tried pretty much everything on the menu and everything was tasty. The service was also great. The reason for my 4 stars and not 5. As I went back to look at the menu because we wanted to come back I noticed that there were desert included and we never got the desert, that was kind of disappointing since everything else was great. But it made me feel like we didn’t get everything we paid for.

it was an unforgettable experience. The moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed and immediately felt the cozy, authentic atmosphere. The food was delicious. The highlight was the live belly dance performance, which made us feel like we had stepped out of New York and into Egypt. The service was exceptional, with attentive and friendly staff ensuring we had a wonderful evening. Highly recommended for anyone seeking an authentic Egyptian dining experience. This interior 😍😍😍 even the floor. I absolutely love this restaurant.

Google
The appetizer bread was very good, it had a very nice flavor and felt fresh. The mousaka was very flavorful too. The dessert baklava is just two pieces, can't say much about it. The service was okay, they were very helpful with the menu. We went on a Monday so the place was very empty, the decor is very nice. But upon close inspection most of it looks very old. Overall I would say that the place was good for a birthday or a special occasion, there were a lot of good spots for pictures.

Google
Pretty expensive but it’s a beautiful place. Great atmosphere and service, good drinks. Food is good but not amazing. I’d only go here for a special occasion due to the price and the fact that there’s a brief belly dancing thing which is kinda cool.

Such an amazing experience!!! Lewis is the sweetest and made sure we were happy till the end. The decor is straight from Alice in wonderland and the food was magical as well. The mocktails looked and tasted great. Definitely recommend it for any occasion especially a girls day out!!

Came here for a huge birthday dinner, and yeah, CLF is goooorg, but I'm not sure there's much else going on. Birthday girl chose the spot because she wanted belly dancers to liven up the night, but we got one beautiful dancer who danced for about 2 min near us, then flitted away and that was that. I guess I shouldn't complain because the performance was free? If you count dolla bills in the brassiere free. Anyway, the very frazzled staff who clearly didn't enjoy that we were a party of 25 or so people made it clear that we had to order from the Large Group Three-Course Prix Fixe. Fine, sure. The Mezze (hummus, babaganoush, spicy feta) was tasty, but the Mediterranean Arugula Salad was missing arugula of any kind--unless arugula has been rebranded as cucumber and I missed the memo. Entree-wise, the Mixed Grill was okay, with the lamb being the best part. The Egyptian Baked Moussaka Terrein was huge, but tasted just okay. And the Tagine Khodar was easily the best dish of the night--ironic, considering it's the vegan option. Note for future birthday revelers that they charge a $10pp cutting fee for cakes. We weren't willing to pay that, so we ordered one very sad, not-so-good Kunefa for the birthday girl so we had something to give her after singing. I can't stress how bad the Kunefa was--this is my favorite dessert, and I've already Eternal Sunshine-ed CLF's version so I can have peace of mind. In short, good for the 'Gram, not so good for the tum.

Yelp
First, our waitstaff was wonderful. She was informative, attentive, and always seemed to appear at just the right time. High marks for her and the other staff who delivered food and drinks. Casa La Femme has excellent staff! We did some sampling and sharing of dishes to fully enjoy the experience and found each dish beautifully presented and seasoned nicely from the trio of dips and sauces to the tasty fresh pita to the gorgeous moussaka. The desserts are lovely and best consumed with a coffee to balance the sweetness, but even if you aren't a coffee drinker, one desert shared with a friend is the perfect complement to a wonderful meal. Enjoy your visit!

Yelp
We came tonight to celebrate my cousins 50th birthday as a family. I understand the challenges that a big group can present, but WOW...what an experience. The food was decent, the restaurant is indeed pretty and the dancer was fantastic but unfortunately I will not be returning and I would NEVER recommend anyone coming to this place. The waitress that we had was the most rude person I've ever come across in my 30+ years of dining in NYC. She was condescending and had no sense of customer service. When my dish came out and it was served with the wrong side so I asked her to make sure I had the right dish. She responded by saying that this is the way they come out. I tell her that it might be helpful to inform the customer or correct the menu and she responds with an attitude that this was not her responsibility. That was just an example of the multiple times throughout the evening that she repeatedly made us feel like we were doing her a favor by dining there. It's terribly disappointing that she received an almost $500 tip for such subpar service. I would like to thank the manager that apologized at the end, but would suggest he really takes stock of the personnel he has. At least Maria is definitely not someone I would want to have on my team. The other woman who filled up our drinks was very kind and respectful. I will not be returning but if you happen to go, make sure you avoid the waitress - Maria. She's horrific.

Yelp
A friend hosted her baby shower here, the place had nice floral decorative and ambiance was intimate. Enjoy sitting in the cute personal table with curtains. Service was great, frequent water refills, prompt table cleaning and staff were friendly. The food was decent, the rice with the mixed grill was too vinegary (a bit too sour to enjoy) and the chicken skewer a bit dry. My partner ordered the chicken dish, which was more juicy. Dishes were a bit overpriced, so expected more from the food.

Yelp
Casa La Femme is the kind of establishment you see on social media and get REALLY excited about. I'll say the front of the restaurant (in front and along the bar) is probably better than the back, where we were seated. Overall, the place is rather large yet somewhat intimate, the entire ceiling (or pretty much everywhere you look up) is adorned with a multitude of decorative flowers. The furniture consists of ornately velvety couches and upholstered chairs, tables of all sizes and dimmed lighting.. oh my. Sounds so gorgeous. Right? In reality, it's a big photo op place that looks soooo much better online than IRL. The couch seat I sat in was far for comfortable and didn't quite fit right with the height of our table. My friend and I both caught continuous whiffs of moth balls throughout the night and the flowers (needless to say) are fake - a cheap plastic that's easily recognizable even in the dimmed lighting. Moving onto the food - I really enjoyed the warm pita bread. We had to ask for seconds. We all had the Prix Fixe menu for $59 - the Mazza is shared for the table (which I guess no one realized but I later thought that it should have been for each person? But maybe not!). It was my favorite part of the food with the pita. The Hummus as was good, the Babaganoush and the Spicy Feta were all really tasty. We each then received an OK Greek salad, followed by the "third" course - I had the Salmon Mashway, and the others had the Mix Grill and Lamb Chops. (Each are a $10 add-on.) The meat was cooked in well, tender and flavorful. My salmon was just okay. Overall, all the food potions were very small. So that was disappointing. The Kunefa was also disappointing, but it could just be the Egyptian / Moroccan spin on it. We had a few NA drinks which were very sweet, but overall OK. I personally enjoyed the Tamarind drink I had. Service overall was very good, the waiter(s) were attentive and friendly. Oh, and the Belly Dancer was a nice touch to have, but she came out just for about 15-20 minutes. She was very nice and took some photos with us. Overall, 3 stars for Casa La Femme. (NOTE: I'm happy I didn't read the previous reviews about mice running around this place... because I would NOT have stepped foot in it otherwise. YIKES. didn't see anything while we were there...)

Yelp
The food was delicious. I'll be honest--I have no idea what authentic Egyptian food should taste like, but the Egyptian food at Casa La Femme was excellent. Maybe the best chicken I've ever had. The service was immaculate. They embody customer service. They also know their menus inside and out, which is always a plus, so that you can ask them questions about the food if you're unfamiliar with Egyptian cuisine. The ambiance is amazing. We didn't get to see the belly dancer, unfortunately, but we did get to walk around the restaurant and look at how beautiful it is. The aesthetic and vibe are both a win-win. Romantic, for sure.

Yelp
We dined in the front, which was open air. It was a little chilly but nice. The service is definitely 5/5 stars. The waitstaff was excellent. The food was good, not great. The shrimp skewer was impossible to get the shrimp out of the shell, so I would avoid that one. The dips are so good and so were the pitas. The show was not really a show, one belly dancer came out and danced around the restaurant at 8 pm (the show was supposed to be at 730 pm) and asked for tips which I thought was weird. They also had a photographer taking pics of you and then bringing them over in a frame to sell. Which I hate being propositioned when I'm eating. Overall the food and service were good.

Yelp
Went here for a birthday party. Reservation was for 20 people but only 19 people showed up. The owner still made us pay for the extra person who didn't show up. I also got food poisoning and spent the whole next day throwing up and shitting myself. Will not be coming back here and don't recommend ever coming here.

Yelp
I fell in love with the decor at this place, serving Egyptian cuisine. I found it to be one of the most beautiful restaurants in the city. There is lovely outdoor dining with fairy lights and pretty sheer orange curtains. Inside, it is even more elaborate and impressive looking with gold lamps with candles, seating set ups with comfortable couch chairs or tents with curtains around them, and a gorgeous hallway in the back with pink flowers, little lights, pale pink shimmery cut outs, along with a semi-private area featuring a long wooden tables, flowers and stunning glass chandeliers above, as well as mirrors throughout the space. There was also a space with colorful flower display. My friend and I decided to partake in the Special pre fixe menu, which is offered Monday through Thursday. We were there after 7PM and the waitress didn't know if the pre fixe menu is available at that time. However, I had called them previously to confirm the pre fixe menu was still happening and there were no time restrictions, so thankfully we were still able to order from it. For my appetizer, I chose the Falafel, which came with a little salad and pita pockets. The Falafel was a little different than I expected, and had sesame seeds with aioli sauce on top. They tasted pretty good and I really enjoyed the pita pockets, which were warm, fluffy, slightly crunchy with sesame seeds and spices on top. I selected the Salmon fil Forne for my main dish. This consisted of roasted salmon, aromatic vegetables, with Alexandrian Sayedia rice. This was plated very nicely and there was plenty of orange colored sauce with finely chopped carrots, red and green peppers on top. The sauce was on the spicy side, but full of great flavor and the vegetables were perfectly cooked. The salmon was charred to a nice crisp, delightfully tender, flaky, and well seasoned. The yellow rice had an almost cous cous quality to it with a little stickiness and quite yummy tasting! My dessert was the Baklava Ice Cream with actual pieces of baklava, and was delicious! It was creamy, velvety smooth, rich, and just the right amount of sweetness. Service was solid. Our waitress was friendly and on top of it. Prices from the a la carte menu was a little high, but on par with the Greenwich Village neighborhood. My friend and I definitely enjoyed our evening meal here. I would love to return to try the Mix Grill (beef, chicken and lamb chop) and Kunefa, one of their desserts.

Yelp
Beautiful experience . We celebrated a birthday of a 21 years old girl and we had a blessed there

Yelp
Went here for Mother's Day & were required to order off the prix fix menu. At first it seemed worth it since it includes a belly dancing show...but alas, the food was basic. Certainly not worth the price. Better middle eastern food elsewhere. I'm still insulted by my salmon dish that resembled a hotdog. It's the smallest piece of salmon I've ever received. My sister & I truly couldn't believe it. Belly dancer was 30+ mins late. We waited an extra 20 mins after our meal for it to begin. Service was good overall. Staff was kind & accommodating. Decor was nice as well.

Meera R.

Yelp
This place is great if you're just going for the vibe , the ambiance, and the dancing show. If you're going for the food and drinks , spend your money somewhere else. The portion size sucks and the pre fixed menu food wasn't great. Thr drinks are subpar. Especially for the price you're paying - good to experience once. Probably wouldn't go back.

Carmine B.

Yelp
What a fun filled place. The food was tasty and full of middle eastern flavors. We had three tasting dips to start-highly recommend doing the three-taste selection for $29. We then had Vegetable Stew, Bronzino and grilled chicken. The rice was infused with olive oil...nicely done. As to desert, we had Baklava....then we had the Anise tea which tastes like licorice and fennel! It's an herbal tea made from the plant Pimpinella anisum. It is also known as aniseed and is a spice native to the Eastern Mediterranean and South East Asian regions.Look it up-you may like it. Great for groups. The entertainment is fun.

Yelp
Had an Amazing time! Maria was very present and helpful! The food was very tasty. I will definitely come here again with more friends family.

Yelp
Casa La Femme - is an EXPERIENCE! If you're looking for a place that offers a beautiful and picture worthy ambiance, this is the place! From the over the top decor to the lively Egyptian music playing, Casa La Femme makes you feel lovely! Service is great! It usually has a packed house, as often when I come, I find myself being asked if I have a reservation and it always looking full. But they were quick to find us a seat and attended to our requests. We drank some of their cocktails from the Guava Royale, Tamarind Tequila, to the Guava Martini (my fav)! The tapas/food were also good. We got the grilled octopus and a falafel platter and enjoyed both. This is the place you come to on an intimidate date to a group or family celebration! Casa La Femme has the space for it all!

Ruth H.

Yelp
Beautiful restaurant the staff are amazing, be back soon. Delicious food my cocktail was perfect.

Sally W.

Yelp
Not the friendliest restaurant to go to... the stars from this review solely goes to the salmon dish which really saved my experience from being a complete 1 star. I came for a friend's birthday and despite her having made a reservation for a relatively large crowd, we needed to wait for every single person on the reservation to arrive before being seated. Also good luck trying to find the host when you first walk in - I tried asking a few waiters and employees but they all told me they don't know (even when my friend asked to use the bathroom before being seated, they said they don't know if she can). Additionally, after we were seated, it took so long for anyone to come by with water, instructions on ordering, the actual ordering, the wait for food, and finally the check. I'd also recommend managing your expectation with the belly dance because the single dancer passes by once and very quickly - she was good, don't get me wrong, but don't expect a whole show. Also, at one point we needed to speak to the manager since our waiter didn't know the question to one of our questions, and the manager was very curt and snappish in his response. All in all, not the best experience, but if you do find yourself here, manage your expectations and order the salmon.

Urvashi G.

Yelp
A great place to have fun but not the best for a meal. The dinner was okay, nothing spectacular. But the dancers and the ambiance is wonderful.

Nicole K.

Yelp
This place is very cute. It's hard not to stop in with all of the extravagant decorations and beautiful seating area. Really appreciated having such a comfortable seat. As for the food, it's very pricey and just so-so. The plates are small and in the $30-50 range per entree. It would've been worth it if the food was good, but I really was not impressed. The shrimp kebob platter was very average. The mix grill was better. The basbousa ice cream sandwiches were cute and decent tasting. Service was alright. There were a lot of servers that were hovering right around the entrance where we were seated the whole time - it might be better to find a less central place to hang around. I'd definitely recommend sitting further toward the back and coming just for drinks - the cocktails looked fantastic.

Sally M.

Yelp
Delicious food, great drink, beautiful positive feeling inside and entertainment while you're eating on certain nights. Definitely recommend this place, dinner with friends or that special someone. Beautiful private dining section in the back for intimate setting for party of 2 or upto 50 people.

David T.

Yelp
I had the 3mix grill, $49for 2, for one chicken skewer, one-small lamb chop, and a small meat skewer, and 3mix bread, and I ordered another 3 bread, So 2 mix grilled over rice with 6bread ,with 3 sauce/mashala with one distiller one, and one ginger ale soda $7 Total bill were about $200 with tip. I can get this same quality food at any food kart, with $15-$25 bucks. So very over priced ,I don't have money to come back next time. But the place is very nice and romantic. $7 for a soda with tax is $10 bucks!

Glory C.

Yelp
The waiter, Maria, is EXTREMELY rude. She definitely needs to find a different job. The way she talks to people is unbelievably rude! Even the people at the table next to us were talking about her rudeness. The place is beautiful, the belly dancing was beautiful, and so was the food, but for the love of God, the waiter Maria is absolutely horrible! with 0 customer service skills. She is super rude! The way she speaks to people is absolutely disgusting! I have never experienced such horrible customer service!

Maria M.

Yelp
What a beautiful restaurant! The decor is flowing curtains and flowers.!Very beautiful and relaxing. The food is Mediterranean cuisine with pita bread with hummus, eggplant and spicy feta dip as an appetizer. The entree was salmon. So very delicious . On certain days there is a belly dancer It is a really enjoyable

C. Elexus H.

Yelp
Two weeks ago, I celebrated my friend's birthday with brunch at Casa La Femme. The brunch included a belly dancer as the afternoon entertainment. Let me tell you, we had a great time. Thank you, Casa La Femme and Nadia. Your hospitality was top-notch. Now, let's talk about the decor and the delicious plates. This was not my first time visiting this establishment, so I was accustomed to the greenery and the stunning chandeliers. But it was great to see my friend's reactions to the restaurant's decor. The plates displayed some delicious food, along with being well seasoned.

Ying G.

Yelp
We celebrated my Husband's birthday at Casa La Femme last night. What an absolutely beautiful restaurant! The service and staff were exceptional, and the food was well prepared and delicious! Everything was perfectly prepared and the presentions were beautiful! The dancer was fun and nice to watch. Such a beautiful place and we look forward returning here soon for a romantic dinner for 2, or with family and friends! Just beautiful!

Yeimi D.

Yelp
What a great experience! The only issue I had was that even tho we had reservations and were there on time, we had to wait about 40mins to be seated. There were actually alot of people waiting and seemed a bit chaotic and disorganized at the front. Once seated, the service was attentive and was on top of everything. Drinks were amazingly good and food was exquisite. The decor and the interactive dance show was amazing. Definitely recommend

George N.

Yelp
This place is strictly for a couple pictures because it looks cool. We did a brunch thinking there would be belly dancers and entertainment but there was nothing. Everything was insanely overpriced. We bought 3 pitchers of guava mimosa which were literally just champagne and juice and they ended up costing $175! each. We didn't even get drunk! The food was ok but portions were sooo small for the price especially for a NY brunch. We spent the same amount for this brunch as we did for bottle service (with 3 bottles) and food the night before. We had a really nice female server , but the guys working there were a little strange. Overall not worth price. So many other better options in NY.

Michelle C.

Yelp
My boyfriend's best friend had his wedding dinner at this restaurant. It is absolutely beautiful as soon as you walk in; there are flowers and tents everywhere. It looks like you are in a scene from the movie Aladdin which is magical. We ordered from a prefix menu where they had a selection of fish, mixed meats and 2 vegetarian options. For appetizers, they brought us pita bread with 3 different types of dips. The pita bread was fluffy and delicious. The dips were babaganoush, spicy feta and hummus; all of them paired so well with the bread. The green salad had a light dressing and was very fresh. The main entree was delicious. The mixed grill comes with a chicken kebab, 2 beef kabobs and a lamb chop over rice. All the meats were tender and tasty. The rice was fluffy and soft with great flavor. For dessert, they ordered an assortment of sweets that were baklava and basbousa. The basbousa was one of the most delicious coconut cakes I have ever tasted. It was rich in flavor and was perfectly paired with the vanilla icecream. There was a belly dancer that performed for over an hour or so which was great entertainment. Our server was very accommodating and did great at attending our large party. All of our food came out at the same time. The only complaint I have was that the music was quite loud and would have been nice if they had the music at a level where it was possible to converse with others around me. I will definitely be returning with my boyfriend to enjoy some drinks and dinner.

Wharton G.

Yelp
Food in the fixed price menu was AWFUL. The salad had no dressing! When we asked for dressing the server was mad. All other dishes had zero flavor. Service was terrible. We weren't served for more than an hour. I had to keep going to ask about our orders. The boys were hungry. Was overcharged for dishes we didn't order. When I contacted the restaurant and texted the manager the bill, he promised to refund the errors, but despite our following up, he never did it.

Yelp
I just came home from this restaurant, we celebrated my sister in law's mother's birthday and had a reservation for party of 5... I am not much of a person to leave such bad reviews, but for the food and service, I really feel like we got scammed/rip off from this place. My sis-in-law Mother lived in the Middle East for quite some time, so we were excited to take her here to get a taste of "home" and the show with belly dancer seem fun. Now, we probably saw the belly dancer once for about 2 minutes, but it's not even as great as to other places I been. Anyhow, we told our server, Maria that it is our first time on this restaurants and we were excited about it, then, she gave us a choice to either do pre-fixe menu or order a-la-carte, we picked the pre-fixe for $59, cause it sounded more sensible. Though we all ordered mix grill and lamb chops, those meals are extra $10 each on top of $59, which made our pre-fix $69 per person. And then, our waiter started "suggesting" or more on convincing us about other add-on, such as octopus, falafel platter, and French fries. It was very mapped out on how she introduced these "add-on", like those vendors in the middle of the mall that convince you to buy their product. Kudos to her sales talk, she scammed us! Let's talk about the food... I loved loved loved Mediterranean food. I've had so many different ones from different states, different cities, and even different countries. This place, definitely TOO OVERRATED, TOO OVER-PRICED, and TOO MEDIOCRE. We ordered 4 mix-grill and 1 lamb chops. It was okay, the mix grill was very small in portions for $49 entree, the chicken was dry and bland, the beef was okay, and the lamb chops were super overcooked. The food also came out cold and seems like it has been sitting in the kitchen for quite some time. We also ordered 1 each cocktails that range from $19-$21. The drinks were regular, and were served in a smaller glass than expected. Though, we really did liked the appetizers that came with the pre-fixe menu, I was disappointed that we have to pay extra for pita bread, for the price that was charged, it should have been free. The place is nice, there were decorative flowers everywhere, it's like a garden theme except the flowers were fake. The decor was very well thought out, but the seating is a bit crowded and everyone pretty much on top of each other. Our server, Maria. She was pleasant, however, I really feel like she hustled us, I felt taken advantage and scammed by her. We agreed to all the add on that she suggested because it felt like if we said no, she'll spit on our food. Plus she presented everything so special, like how the octopus is really good, the falafel is the best thing ever, and the French fries is from farm to table French fries. What's crazy is when all of these "add on's" came to our table, they all tasted regular, even somewhat bland, and nothing really special at all. What really disappoint me the most is that she "full disclosure" demand us to tip between 20% to 30% on our $550+ bill. For 5 people we paid $660+ for food that's truly just ordinary. I've had so much better food elsewhere, don't get me wrong, I wouldn't mind paying $150+ for food that is high quality, delicious, juicy, and worth the money, but this one, oh my, I'm very very very disappointed and never ever coming back again. Great job on the marketing and advertising team, but honestly I would not even recommend this restaurant to family, friends, or even strangers.

Yelp
Amazing Time! Such a cute place . Food and drinks were delicious . Decor and service were great! I called ahead of time to ask to be seated inside and close to the belly dancer based on past reviews. The belly dancing was fun. Great place to celebrate a bday . We had the dips and a greek salad . Then the kebobs. Everything was great! Definitely reccomend !

Suzana C.

Yelp
Great vibe. Awesome decor. Sultan's curtains and much more. Waitress is awesome! Drinks are delicious!

Genevieve O.

Yelp
Great food and entertainment. The appetizer, some bread I don't know the name but was worth choosing. Everything was great and the belly dancing was awesome. Wait for table long even after reservations. The waitresses and their services could be better. I recommend restaurant.

Carla O.

Yelp
Came here for a friends bday and it was a large group , about 15 of us . We were sat outside but we didn't fit in the space given so we moved indoors - it's honestly even nicer inside so better for us since we like to take pictures . The inside is gorgeous and the bathrooms are wow - they're individualized and massive ! Okay onto the food , we had to do a pre-fixed menu since it was a lot of us and we chose the $59 option . First course was a selection of hummus ,babaganoush and spicy feta with fluffy warm pita . Second course was Mediterranean arugula salad and third course was many options but I chose the mixed grill with beef kebab , chicken kebab and lamb chop ( it was additional $10 ) . Everything was delicious . To drink, the entire table got pitchers of the hibiscus margarita (it is a yummy drink) . We had a couple of pitchers so I lost track of how many we ordered . We ended the meals with their dessert platters - delicious . All in all , the service was great and the food left us more than full . The bill did come out to about $170 per person but that was expected . I would definitely recommend this place for a special occasion or date night .

Yelp
I thought this place was solid. We came in at 1PM on a Saturday. It was empty. We had attentive service, good food (mezza, Greek salad and a frittata) and everything went smooth. I am surprised to read some of the poor reviews on here. That was not my experience at all. The prices are what they are - it's Manhattan, you know going into this what you'll spend, so it should not come as a shock. The decor is stunningly beautiful and I am surprised just how big the restaurant is inside. We did not get to see the dancer this time as she was starting as we were heading out. Overall, this was a very chill and relaxed brunch spot with good service.

Yelp
This is the perfect spot for a celebration of any kind! I took a friend here for a birthday and we had a great time. As soon as we approached we were greeted and escorted to our beautiful table. Reservations can be made via seven rooms. On that platform you have the choice of outdoor table, indoor table or a tent table. The fees paid upon reserving are NOT deducted from your final bill. I chose the tent as it's more private. We started with the mezzas: spicy feta, tahini & hummus which was amazing. Full of flavor and the perfect portion for an appetizer. Moving on for dinner I had the Lamb Chops with rice & my friend had the Shrimp Kebob platter. Both dishes were full of flavor and enjoyed but we we're definitely still hungry after. I wish the portions were bigger and more filling. For my cocktail I had the Quibiscus which was served beautifully on a tray covered with flowers. The drink wasn't strong enough for me BUT the presentation was everything! Our waiter periodically checked on us which was much appreciated. On my next visit I'm hoping I can watch the Belly Dancer performance.

Yelp
Had reservations for this place on a Friday evening with some girlfriends. Super cute spot. Loved the decor and both the interior and outdoor seating area. The drinks and food were also presently really nicely. ( See photos) Overall my friends and I enjoyed the food and drinks and the experience there however, there were a few things that were a bit underwhelming in my opinion. The belly dance performance though fell short for us and was a bit underwhelming as the dance was just a few minutes and the dancer was average. So that was a but disappointing. Other than that the service was good but a bit annoying at times because even though we weren't finished with our food the severs kept coming to ask us if they could take the food. Like clearly we are not done with the food! Also, someone will come and ask if they can take you photo. Be aware that if you so say "Yes" to the photo, they will then frame it and you have to pay $20 to keep the photo. I thought that was a very clever way to get people to spend more money than they are already spending there so, just say no or you don't want to spend the money!

Yelp
Just in case if you wondering if you should eat at this restaurant, I highly recommend you don't. Not only was there a mouse running around during our dining experience, when it was reported, we received a 15% discount because "there was nothing they can do about it". The manager shrugged his shoulders, continued to vape, and then sat more people in the area. They messed up my order twice and the "rice" that came with my salmon was so mushy, it tasted like sushi. As we were paying for the overpriced bill, the waitress Joyce, reminded us that tip is not included in the bill and that we would have to leave cash. If you want to be harassed about paying $20 for framed photos, this is your spot. We've dined here before and the quality has depleted.

Yelp
Girly restaurant to go with your girlfriends. The drinks were too strong we were drink with only one. Food was okay, could be better. Ambiance is very chilling. I really loved the decoration that was the main reason me and my friend went. Also I like how the bring your the drinks with flowers and all that.. if you love to take photos this is the perfect place to go to..

Yelp
During high levels of Covid in early fall 2020, the lady friend and I needed to get out from our studio apartment and have a drink. But we wanted to be safe and find something with open air seating despite a chilly rain that day. Enter: casa La femme! While a bit pricey, it really hit the spot for us: creative and strong drinks, beautiful Moroccan decor and plush seating, and lots of open air with the garage style wall pulled up. Many comfy rugs and wood carvings adorned the restaurant making it feel like someone's home--perhaps a rich spice trader's living room. The seating was diverse too: couches, soft reading chairs, or wood dinner chairs. The food was good, but not great. The mezze was standard but a little pricey for the taste. The lamb chops on the bone were delicious, however, and accompanied by flavored rice. Worth a try! Overall, this place really hit the spot during a dark time in 2020. Would like to go back when the sun is out and Covid is in decline!

Yelp
1/1 Ambience; 1.5/2 Food; 1/1 Service; 1/1 Value Casa La Femme is one of those restaurants you cannot walk by and not glance at. The ambiance is charming and mesmerizing in an extravagant, yet cozy and romantic manner. The restaurant is massive and can easily accommodate large parties in the fun tents to intimate dates at the front tables. One thing I really liked is that the layout allows couples seated towards the front of the restaurant to sit next to each other, rather than across from each other as is perhaps usual in restaurants. This restaurant readily lends itself to celebrating special occasions and taking lots of pictures given such a beautiful atmosphere! My friend and I shared several mezzes (babaganoush, humus, foul, harrisa, and spicy feta) with pita, chicken kebabs, beef kofta, and basbousa ice cream sandwiches. All of the mezzes were delectable with the harrisa and babaganoush being the standouts for me. The harrisa is also not too spicy; and, none of the mezzes were drenched in too much olive oil, as sometimes happens. The pita is made to order, so it comes out fresh and soft, dusted with sesame seeds and a bit of za'atar. The chicken kebabs and beef kofta were tasty, rich and well-seasoned, but they were both a bit on the drier side and not the best kebabs I've ever had. The basbousa ice cream sandwiches were fantastic and balanced without being too sweet. In terms of drinks, the virgin mojito tasted like an elevated limeade, but the hibiscus tea did not have much flavor at all. We initially thought that the portions were on the smaller side, but we were very wrong to assume and left practically in a food coma. The dining experience at Casa La Femme is going to be super memorable for me given the service and the entertainment, however! The staff was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu, and they come out and sing you happy birthday here. We went during a bellydancing show, which was a lot of fun to see as part of the experience. The bellydancer was very interactive and even danced with some patrons, creating an overall very fun atmosphere. For a place that exudes style and aesthetic the way Casa La Femme does, I expected underwhelming food. However, I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality and overall flavors. I would rated closer to a 4.5/5 rather than a pure 5 given some of the drawbacks of the food. But all together the dining experience was lovely and a great value, especially for a fun, celebratory occasion or an intimate, romantic date night.

Yelp
This is our second time visiting Casa La Femme, while traveling in NYC. It has easily become our favorite spot. The vibes are divine. Great for a date night or for an outing out with friends. They have beautiful indoor and outdoor tent seating. It really does uplift your spirits, even if you are only eating a small meal. The food is unique and delicious. During our first visit we got the Mazza appetizer and a few main courses, including the lamb chomps. My husband said they were some of the best lamb chomps he had eaten. If you get the Mazza Platter, highly recommend adding the Gibna to your dips. During our second visit we we tried the Koshery. If you are vegetarian, I highly recommend it.

Yelp
This restaurant looks super cute from the outside but if what we got for food and drinks is any indication, maybe the only good thing about it is it's looks and perhaps some belly dance performance they do on the side? The house white was tart and sulfite-y, and their cocktail was a little watered down. Food took about 45 minutes - in the end we got it in a takeout bag. I had ordered an Egyptian Salad (or something like that) It was store bought arugula mix with about four chopped cherry tomatoes and a smattering of feta cheese. This was $19. My friend's order of a kebab was equally unexciting. I get that we didn't order the particularly high priced plates - we were actually just making a quick stop and a drink before heading somewhere else for the night. But goodness. If this is what the preview is like, I don't want to see the main act.

Yelp
Took my girl here for her birthday weekend, coming from DC. This was a nice restaurant with an intimate seating which I love. The staff and service were great. The only issue I had was the grill chicken was dry, but overall the food and drinks was great. The ambience was perfect. The price and portion don't bother me because I'm not expecting a buffet lol.

Yelp
TL;DR: Gorgeous space furnished with ornate furniture & flowers worthy of some of the Tik Tok hype. It stops there though--the "Middle Eastern" food is subpar; the restaurant is better suited for influencer/ambiance types. I recently visited Casa La Femme based on recommendations from friends. However, there were a few areas where the restaurant fell short. The furnishing feels gorgeous but overdone to the point it's tacky & exemplifies that "club" feel: there are ladies that come around to take your photo & try to sell it to you ($20). Additionally, the server's attention was a bit annoying as they kept coming to ask if they could clear our food even though we were not done eating. On the bright side, the cocktails were excellent, but the food does need stepping up. The kofta platter was good, but basic and small for the price. That said, the kunefeh, while unconventional, was delicious--sweetened perfectly and served with high-quality ice cream. Overall, I would rate Casa La Femme a 3 out of 5 stars. While there were some highlights, such as the cocktails, the sneaky photo policy & price for bland food were drawbacks.

Yelp
Beautiful decor, food is decent. I loved the ambience- from the dimly lit dining area to the gorgeous hanging floral arrangements, La Casa Femme provides a truly unique Egyptian dining experience. My drink the quibiscus was top notch, as was the spicy feta dip. The rest of the food (from the prix fixe menu) was average- the meat was dry and chewy. I would like to return and try other items off of the regular menu. Overall it was a win

Yelp
We "called an audible" and visited Casa La Femme in lieu of place nearby that was pretty much fully booked for dinner. I had the place flagged on my "Want To Go" list. So it worked out that it was two blocks away from where we started. The décor draws you in immediately, beginning outside. Their outdoor seating looks just as beautiful as the pictures you see online. It was a little cool outside so we decided to sit inside instead. The décor inside is nice too but the setup outside made my eyes dilate. We ordered drinks to start, including The "Tamarind" (Qui Tequila, Tamarind, fresh lemon & lime juice, mint leaves, served on the rocks), The "Mango Martini" (Vodka served up with fresh mint and Mango puree) and Hibiscus Tea which one of my companions described as "Perfectly sour and looks like blood." To eat we ordered some hummus, tahini, and Harrisa with pita (which was always hot out of the oven). For mains we went with the Mixed Grill which included beef & chicken Kebabs as well as lamb chop with cous cous. You can't go wrong with the mix. It's a little of everything. It was all rounded out by Tagine (Egyptian vegetable stew). All of it was flavorful and savory! For dessert we finished up with Kunefa (small phyllo dough stuffed with Egyptian custard, topped with vanilla gelato) as well as some Baklava Ice Cream. The bottom line is that Casa La Femme absolutely merits a visit. In fact, I plan on visiting again, on a warm day, to take in the outdoor dining experience. You should too!

Yelp
We went here on Tuesday night for the dance performance. Reservation is unnecessary, so save your money guys. Service was very late. People who came later than us got their food first when we ordered same thing. They should pay more attention towards their customer. Kebabs were very dry. I can find better falafel from NYC food carts. I gave 3 stars just for the dance performance. Her moves were amazing. She looked like a goddess.
