Casa Mexico absolutely blew me away. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and beautifully authentic. The service was personal and top tier and our server made us feel like more than just customers, offering genuine hospitality and thoughtful recommendations throughout our meal. And the food? Incredible. Every dish was bursting with flavor, clearly made with fresh, high-quality ingredients and plenty of heart. You can tell the kitchen takes pride in their work and it shows in every bite. Whether you're a local or just visiting, this place is a must. A perfect blend of ambiance, service, and unforgettable food. I can’t wait to come back!

Google
Friendly Service, but Some Concerns I recently dined at Casa Mexico and had a mixed experience. While the staff was friendly and tried to make up for a long wait by offering free queso (which ended up being the highlight of the meal), there were several areas that fell short. The Chori Pollo had decent flavor but was pretty average overall. The Birria tacos only had noticeable flavor when dipped in the consommé; otherwise, they were quite bland. The rice on both plates was also disappointing—bland with a grainy texture that didn’t add much to the meal. One thing that stood out was the visibility of the prep counter, which is fully open to guests. While this transparency can be a good thing, I noticed an employee eating at the prep table and another drinking from a gallon jug, which they placed back down in the prep area. It didn’t exactly inspire confidence in cleanliness. Another thing to keep in mind is the 3.28% charge for paying with a credit card, which isn’t outrageous but is worth noting. With entrée prices averaging between $17 and $20, I expected a bit more in terms of food quality and attention to detail. While the service was friendly, the food was underwhelming, and the visible prep habits raised some concerns. If you go, the queso is worth trying, but for the price, there are areas that could use improvement.

Marie is such a friendly server! We’ve eaten here several times since they opened up and we’ve always enjoyed our food! The lunch specials are great and Taco Tuesday is a great way to eat cheap and enjoy the flavors of Mexico! Dont believe me? Check out their reviews!

Google
We came here on a whim and ended up making this our dedicated to go spot on Tuesday nights for taco Tuesday! They have both flour or corn tortillas— depending on your preference —their tacos are deliciously authentic & with the Tuesday special of $2 tacos, you seriously can’t go wrong!!! Thank you Gabriel with being so polite and welcoming! Highly recommend!

I recently dined at Casa Mexico and was thoroughly impressed. The ambiance was warm and inviting, with vibrant decor that captured the essence of Mexican culture. The staff were friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. The menu offered a fantastic variety of authentic dishes, and everything we tried was delicious! Casa Mexico is a true gem and I highly recommend it for a memorable dining experience. I can't wait to return!

Google
Thank you so much Patricia for the amazing guacamole, it tasted so good! And thank you Daniel for being such an amazing server! They were both really nice and the food came out relatively fast. The Fajitas were yummy and so were the various tacos! Definitely going to come back!

Google
We were looking for a restaurant with vegan options that was open late on a Friday evening. We liked that they have a vegan section on the menu. When we arrived, you can see party lights thru the windows. I thought maybe it was club. It turns out that they had karaoke. The music was loud and made it a little difficult to have a conversation, but they were having fun. The staff was very friendly. There seemed to be confusion with our order at first but in the end, everything was good. The portions were huge. The food was fresh. They were not scraping the bottom of the pot to feed us late in the evening. We prefer more spice, but they brought us hot sauce (might have been made fresh. It was not in a bottle). Although I am usually happy with beans and vegetables, it was a unique opportunity to order mock meats. I would visit here again. Maybe not on karaoke night.

Google
Absolutely love this place! Have been about 3 times and they always have the same excellent service. The exterior and interior of the restaurant is the cutest! Always really clean and attentive customer service. The staff always makes you feel so welcomed. The food is always great, super fresh and quickly made. Always tasty. Also, the passion fruit margarita is to die for, delicious.

Yelp
i was absolutely blown away from my experiences here!!! not only was the food phenomenal, but the service was outstanding & the staff was so friendly. made us feel right at home (ironically) a few of the items we tried on the menu are: - aguachiles (shrimp dish, raw) SO GOOD - enchiladas - flautas - Pina Costena (INSANE) came in a pineapple on a skillet - 3x aguas (tamarindo, horchata & jamaica) - espresso martini everything was completely out of this world. shoutouts to Ann, Mary & the owner Gabe for the guidance in choices & excellent hospitality ! i can't wait to come back & show this place off to my family / friends. highly recommended if you're in the East Orlando area! kindly, GTB

Yelp
When you first walk into Casa Mexico it is well decorated and has plenty of ig worthy photo opportunities, as well as lots of seating. A group of us decided to have lunch and take advantage of their $7.99 lunch specials. The server greeted and sat us down immediately. The $7.99 lunch special menu is a good variety and has a little of everything for everyone. We ordered the chicken fajitas and they came out smoking and for a lunch portion, it came with tons of meat plenty for 2 people to share. The chimichanga, beef taco, and taco salad were just ok. I felt it lacked seasoning. If you want a cheap lunch that's not fast food or a burger I would recommend Casa Mexico. The food just needs more seasoning and maybe I'll go back but as far as the portion sizes and price I find them reasonable.

Yelp
This is a fairly new location. There's plenty of parking. Nice and clean. There was wait. There are plenty of tables. Service was fast and food is great. Great Mexican theme decor. Chips and salsa are brought to the table right away. For a drink, I had a top shelve margarita with Lalo Tequila. Yum! It did not disappoint. For the main dish, I ordered the steak tacos with no onions. They are served with rice and beans. Nice portion. There is a cute bar area with a couple of small tables and a TV. There is a small outside seating area, about four tables. Down side, it faces the parking lot. I enjoyed the traditional Mexican music playing mixed with other Latin music. staff was very polite and attentive. Will try this place again.

Yelp
2 stars off my previous review for the wonky service and mediocre food on this visit. As soon as we were seated we were accosted by the table side guac lady. So it was a good 10 mins after that the server showed up to take our drink order. It took a while to get our drinks because they were making and bringing them out 1 at a time and we had 3. The second drink was wrong so they had to re do it. None of the drinks tasted like they had any alcohol in them. When our food came out the plates were very hot, but the food was only luke warm. The third persons dish came out later than the other 2 which made them cooler still since we had to wait. When we asked for boxes for our leftovers they brought tiny boxes that wouldn't hold all the food. We had to wait again for larger ones. Our server was much more interested in chatting with her coworkers than serving our table in a proper manner. Even though we were sitting there with empty plates, boxed up food, and empty drinks she didn't bring our check. We had to again ask for it. We won't be back. Very disappointing as our first visit was totally different. It wasnt busy at all so not sure what the issue was, but it doesn't bode well for them staying in biz.

Yelp
The food here was not even authentic Mexican. We ordered tacos ( carne asada) and horchata for a drink. The meat in the taco was super salty. It was also cold by the time it was brought out. The horchata was not very tasty. I don't know how this establishment was even given high ratings. The food is not good. The only thing I enjoyed eating was the fresh tortilla chips. The salsa was no bueno also! The place was pretty empty and the music was loud. Seats were uncomfortable. The server also did not understand the questions we were asking. Do not go to this spot.

Yelp
Phenomenal service. Extremely kind servers. Would highly recommend restaurant. Will gladly sit many people. Came in at peak hours and they sat a group of 12 with no problems. sweet staff! When we come with a crew and they treat us as a group of 2 make a huge difference. Will come back! Food came out fast and hot! Mrs guacamole, made it even more memorable! Come on and try it

Yelp
Children's lunch is not worth it $$$ The birria tacos were fine not the best I've had The steak lunch taco deal was ok but just ok The drink was actually well made The place is really nice and new and modern only been open two months. Waitress was fine Food was solid but nothing to write home about or need to return unless your in the area
google avatar

Yelp
It was yummy! The Birria Tacos were amazing! We were able to get one more taco with it and shared. I also had the tortilla soup, it was huge. They have a really good habanero hot sauce and free chips and salsa. Definitely will come again :)

Yelp
This place is awesome! Beautiful ambiance, table side guacamole was delicious, and the waiter was so accommodating when we ordered a pitcher of "vodka-ritas," despite being a little confused by the request, lol. The food was AMAZING! I got choripollo and it was excellent, my boyfriend got steak and zucchini, which doesn't seem super authentic, but he said it was bangin', so who cares?? We were there until after closing (sorry, guys! We were having too much fun!) and made sure to tip well for their trouble. I've heard places don't last long in this location, so if you like Mexican food at all, PLEASE patronize this place!

Yelp
If you have read my reviews before I am short but hopefully informative. Fiancé got ChoriPollo and i got the Carne Asada. Both were wonderful. They even gave me an extra jalapeño charred to perfection. Their rice is quite good too. the best I have had in a while. Service/servers were wonderful, super nice! I love what they did with the place too, seems like no stone went unturned here when renovating.

Yelp
4 1/2 stars! Came here recently early on a Thursday, and it was empty (though more people came as we enjoyed our meal.) I liked the menu because it wasn't just the standard tacos/burritos/quesadillas that so many 'Mexican' restaurants offer. I had the molcajete, basically a mixed grill served in a blazing hot stone mortar: all sorts of delicious! Sides of rice (not dry!), refried beans and tortillas were good. Service was good.

Yelp
Out on a girl's day out with my family, and we decided to try Casa Mexico. It's found in a quaint parking lot with a colorful exterior. Walking in there's a hip yet clean vibe with traditional Spanish music playing in the background. There's a good amount of booths-to-table ratio, and everything is well-spaced out. From the second we came in everyone was very friendly and accommodating. Our server was attentive and willing to accommodate anything we needed. The first thing you'll see when you sit down is a guacamole cart being pushed towards you. Here you'll be able to get fresh guac at your table side. We opted not to do that and instead ordered the trio appetizer that brings queso dip, guacamole, and esquites. (Corn with mayo, chili, and cheese) I will note that the esquites had a rich smokey taste that I quite enjoyed. (Something I have to note is the cactus-shaped cups they give you if you order an agua fresca, it's both cute and hilarious) Our table ordered the carne asada, the chile relleno, the lunch fajitas, and the white enchiladas. Mom said the carne asada was very tender and juicy. The portion was also hearty and very filling. Grandma, who's not usually a fan of Mexican chile rellenos loved these. She said the flavor was rich and enjoyable. Stepmom enjoyed the lunch fajitas and noted there was more meat/chicken than bell pepper and onions, which is usually uncommon when getting fajitas. Other than the generous amount of meat, the accompanying salad, and tortillas were also a good portion. Lastly, my enchiladas blancas (white enchiladas) weren't quite what I expected. The flavor wasn't bad and the tortilla was fresh, but the filling taste was a bit off to me. The order brings one meat, one chicken, and one cheese. The chicken felt a bit under-seasoned to me, and the meat was a bit watery and not too flavorful. The cheese-filled one was a bit thick for my taste, so it was a bit of a mouthful. I'm not sure how much of it was my tastes specifically, and how much was the chef, but they were unlike the enchiladas blancas I've had before. While I may not order them again, I'd definitely try something else I might enjoy. Overall, it was a pleasing lunch and I would come again to try something new.

Yelp
Good Mexican spot on east colonial. The lady they have making table side guac is so nice. They have good drinks and I can recommend the tacos and birria empanadas.

Yelp
Awesome take on an upscale Mexican restaurant! Love the drinks here. Huge margarita glasses. Fun decorations. Awesome chips and guac. I was pleased with everything here, especially the service. Will definitely be going back.

Yelp
Food was great! Service was excellent. Drinks top notch the fresh lemonade was the best! Cool place enjoyed it .. We are not locals but if we were we would visit often.

Yelp
The food quality is incredible here! They have legit awesome vegan dishes and dishes for non vegans! The service is quick and the ambiance is instagram worthy! This cute spot will have you coming back again and again!

Yelp
Decided to give this place a try as we are always looking for a good Mexican place and it didn't disappoint! I got the tacos Al pastor and my girl got the Birria tacos. They were both delicious!! The price is fantastic at just $17 for each meal. We used to go to Don Julio's but $25 for the birria tacos is a little much. Can't wait to try other dishes.

Yelp
This is an amazing find. We were looking for something near our accommodations and saw this restaurant was close and thought we'd try it. It's so good we went again a few days later. The food is fresh and flavorful. They even make fresh guacamole at your table. The service was excellent. The restaurant was clean and well maintained. Prices were very reasonable.

Yelp
Time to try a New Mexican and we weren't disappointed, friendly welcome, bright and very clean. Beer was ice cold and the wife's margarita was good and strong. Queso was queso but good chips fresh and the spicy salsa was as spicy as they said- even got a warning.i had choripollo, tasty, hot and good portion, the wife had enchiladas verde again very good. dessert was flan- home made and tasty. Music wasn't too loud and bill was reasonable. We have a new favorite, watch out Don Julio's

Ginny W.

Yelp
Not a good neighbor to have. Loud music at night after 10 pm. Some of us are trying to sleep because we WORK! Also other neighbor has recently had heart surgery, I'm sure he is not enjoy this "ambiance".

Yelp
Food and Service were awesome! Everything was hot, fresh and delicious! So excited for this great new gem of a restaurant in East Orlando!

Gabs T.

Yelp
Service was great, but the food was at best OK. The Birria tacos were just OK and the dipping broth seem to be just a water down onion soup.
google avatar

Ken A.

Yelp
Very nice environment, and a great staff. The menu is large and even has a Vegan section, but not the typical vegetarian section. The beans in the shell is good. Chimichangas are a fried style and are good. Queso is very good, quac is good too but has a strong lime flavor.

Yelp
This restaurant is outstanding! I had a wonderful time celebrating my sister's 25th birthday with my family. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, and the food was not only delicious but also served quickly and at a great price. The service was so exceptional that I left a $30 tip. Highly recommended!

Yelp
Food was amazing. Especially the table side guacamole. Margaritas were on point and strong. The service was excellent. If you're looking for really good Tex-Mex you can't go wrong with this place.

Maximo G.

Yelp
Amazing service and food was delicious! The atmosphere is family friendly very clean, bathrooms too and I really enjoyed the food. I can see us coming here on a regular basis as it's 10 min from our home. It's located in East Orlando 15 min from UCF. My only recommendation as the area is predominantly Hispanic that they add more music variety and if I compare to Don Julios on Goldenrod that's what I would add that is missing. If I go to a Mexican restaurantI expect to hear rancheras, Vicente, bachata, reggaeton a little of what's current from Latin America. Other than that, this is my new FAV place.
google avatar

Loreocookie G.

Yelp
Love this place. They remodeled the building very well. Providing nice booth seats and regular tables. Full bar. Food was delicious. Service was very friendly and very nice people. My only complaint, I wish they had more ground beef options on their menu.

Yelp
This New Mexican restaurant really took me by surprise! My husband and I went to the soft opening with the intentions of just grabbing a beer while browsing the menu, just to check it out. Both of us are VERY picky when it comes to Mexican cuisine. I love flavor and spice and he loves flavor and spice in a mild way. Let me start off by saying that the super spicy salsa is probably the best salsa in town! It's perfectly balanced with its intense heat and amazing flavors. The regular table salsa tastes like any other regular mild salsa. Any Mexican restaurant that I go to, my first impression of the place starts with the salsa. I have stopped going to certain Mexican restaurants near here, just because their salsa sucked and lacked flavor. I've also become a loyal repeat customer to a certain Mexican restaurant near here because of their salsa. But, Casa Mexico Restaurant is now my new, "Go to" spot! Not only is the super spicy salsa amazing, the food was just as flavorful! The meat was seasoned and cooked to perfection! The portions were amazing and the presentation was thoughtful. You can tell that the owner has passion and love for Mexican cuisine. The only downside is I prefer draft beer over bottle and they do not have any drafts. They do make up for that with the passion they have in their mixed drinks. My husband LOVES old fashions and No One in town makes a proper old fashion. By our surprise, not only does Casa Mexico make a proper old fashion, they got creative and made it with tequila and man oh man..... it was smooth and delicious!!!!!

J W B.

Yelp
Great food and wonderful service. Most menu items made from scratch. This is not your typical large it corporate owned Mexican restaurant. It is privately owned. At dinner time an elderly lady comes up to you with a cart to offer you a delicious made in front of you guacamole side dish large enough for two persons. Absolutely delicious. This restaurant is worth your visit

Mitchell S.

Yelp
The food is always on point with great service and excellent ambiance. The food is always prompt and hot with rich flavor and the grilled steak tacos or tacos de carne asada are never fatty meat but lean and tasty. In addition, the tacos come with plenty of cilantro and salsa verde to pour over and the tortillas are freshly made corn and hot and wrap around perfectly for good bites. The ambiance of the place is modern, great mexican music, never too stuffed or too full of people and plenty of space. The bathrooms always clean and almost detailed radiant with hygiene and smell like fabuloso. The service is easy going, friendly, and always attentive. Definitely recommend it if you look for a good mexican hideout spot that becomes a lively place when you enter it and are received with open arms for a great food experience.

Yelp
Patricias guacamole is delicious plus she is very nice and the food is great, the restaurant is beautiful and the service is awesome
