Service was exilent. Food was fresh and tasted great. I especially liked the rice. My son loved the breakfast tacos. The potatoes were perfect. Prices are reasonable. I have been a few times and would recommend. It's not super fancy but the food is great.

Google
Okay let me tell yall. This place right here hit a little different. The fact that most of all the food places closed at 9:30pm to about 10pm. My wife and I hurrying to find a spot to eat. “Quick date night”. 👏🏾🤩. We looked this place up and seen the reviews. Well this place did not disappoint. They greeted us, were fast and friendly and kind. Most definitely the food was phenomenally good. I had the refried beans and rice with 2 carnitas tacos and my wife had the refried beans, rice with birria 🌮 plate. We also added menudos bowl. Wow, omg all this was slamming. Kudos to the chef!!! Please don’t wait and get up and go. Let them know I sent you… 🙌🏾🙏🏾🤤

Google
We were in the area and saw the rave reviews on Google. This place truly is a hidden gem. The quesabirria tacos were legit!! My wife had the tostada and really liked it. They were out of the flan so I didn't opt for a dessert. Prices were very reasonable and the service and atmosphere were great. Our bill was about $25 for two people.

Google
Love ❤️ 😍 💖 this place has true Mexican food! Get the tacos de carnitas here so juicy not dry like other places. Highly recommend, plus has cute heart light-up seating for a date night vibes.

Google
What had happened here after the rebranding from Taco More?! We had always religiously go here for their cabrito soup, tostada or cabeza tacos. The cabrito consome is no longer on their shortened “refined” menu. It is part of their quesabirria plate though or regular birria consome. Lo behold when it had came out, it was like looking at a piece of meat in brown water. In the past, the cabrito consome was dark, full of spices and flavors. This was bland af, no salt or spices. Extremely disappointed. You can’t call this a birria consome either. Watery. I can make this consome blindfolded at home with more flavors and thick for dipping. Needless to say, definitely would not be returning and can’t safely recommend it to other people anymore. Go to Tacubaya if yall want a better experience.

Google
I recommend to give them a try I love the food, I sat outside table nice weather to enjoy my beer 😎🍻 the food delicious I wish I can remember the waitress name but she was pretty nice and helpful. I looked on Google for birria tacos so I stop here I'm not from the area, I really enjoy everything including the music playing. Again very delicious tostadas I tried ceviche & camaron and bought this good beer sauce or chamoy but it was reaaaallly good 👍

Taco More in Round Rock is a true hidden gem for taco lovers. We have always had amazing experience there. I ordered the chicken fajita and pork tacos, while my wife enjoyed the birria tacos and goat soup. Everything was phenomenal! The flavors of the chicken fajita and pork tacos were outstanding. Tender meat, perfectly seasoned, and served in handmade tortillas. The birria tacos and goat soup were equally impressive, showcasing authentic Mexican flavors. I was never fan of birria tacos due to the smell but last night I tried some and it was so flavorful. I am definitely ordering them next time. The salsas at Taco More are to die for. Especially their hot red salsa 🔥. The service was friendly and attentive, adding to the overall great experience. If you're craving tacos, Taco More is the place to be.

Google
One of the few places we could still go out and dine under $40. The food is on point, love the free chips and salsa. The flautas and the Birria tacos are amazing.

Yelp
After getting my car parts at Auto Zone, I was stoked there's a "Taco More" right across the street! This location is called " Casa More". Same great prices, sweet staff and excellent food. I'm miss my San Diego breakfast burritos! I can't drive and eat a "breakfast taco"! So, I asked my server, Karen if they could make me something to-go that wasn't on menu.... THEY MADE IT! " My favorite breakfast, a burrito with chorizo, egg, cheese and potato and I got it at 2pm since they serve breakfast ALL DAY! There is a slight variation to their "cacajuetes" salsa. It was good but, I think the other location uses more pepitas and maybe a touch of sugar and salt? The place is super clean and the chips are definitely made in house, not sure what the other reviewers were taking about. Maybe they came when there was an off day? I think the complaints other reviewers have left is due to not understanding the cultural difference. The kind folks that work here, some don't speak English so maybe it was a communication break down. There's a lot of flavor! This is definitely NOT Tex-Mex! Thank God for that! Oddly, they did serve me "queso" which I don't care for but, there was really good.

Yelp
My first time in Texas and I wanted to eat some real Mexican food. This place was recommended by a friend and did NOT disappoint. From the homemade tomate salsa and chips to the quesabirria tacos and soup, I was blown away. Everything is delicious, well portioned, and I would guess authentic. I'm a gringo. The beans and rice with some salsa and fresh onion and cilantro were the perfect side. Super good. Super cheap. And Mexican soccer on every TV at the bar. Check this place out! Super nice staff and patrons. Parking isn't ideal but who cares.

Yelp
Terrible service. I was very excited to come eat here since a friend from work recommended this place, and said it was worth it, said the prices were great. The prices were really great. Their taco cost three dollars, tortas are around eight dollars. The size of the food is good. I thought it was tasty, but the service ruined. The entire experience was ruined by the service, they had no idea what was going on. They kept coming back to my table, asking about the tortillas, flour or corn, what was the salsa I had asked for, had I ordered already? They were so lost, you could tell they had no idea what was going on, and they did not know how to do their work. It was pretty tasty, kind of very greasy, but not that bad, again terrible service.

Yelp
Excellent food and service in a casual, authentic surroundings. Great drinks too. Will return.

Yelp
Little local place full of fun vibes and amazing flavor. Chips and salsa were fine. It was a little weird that the salsa was warm but the chips were not. My son enjoyed his beef fajita tacos. I ordered the quesabirrias, and they were delicious. The tacos were crispy and melty with a generous portion of goat meat. The refried beans and rice were flavorful, and the consomme was delicious. I had a large frozen margarita as well. It was good and a generous size. Service was good, though I didn't realize that we just went to the counter when we were done to pay. I kept waiting for a check at the table. The goat is definitely worth going back for.

Javier B.

Yelp
Horrible food and service, they were all laughing in the kitchen and looking at our table just bc I told them their birria smelled really bad. And didn't eat it bc I couldn't with the smell and taste but they wanted to charge me for the plate.

Yelp
Taco More is a very traditional Mexican restaurant in Austin, a good Mexican friend recommended Taco More to me and I go every so often when I want authentic Mexican food, their chips and salsa are always great, I normally get tacos Al pastor which are tasty and Jqrritos, I have tried their soups and love them! Service is always friendly and rather fast! If you are a soccer fan, there is always soccer in their TVs. Often I also order chicken flautas and Love them!!!! I will keep coming back for sure!
google avatar

Lisa G.

Yelp
This place is consistently excellent whether you get my personal favorite, the carnitas, the fajita tacos or the Al pastor. The beans and rice are simply my very favs. I also LOVE their salsa/chips. The margaritas are always good too. This place never disappoints.
google avatar

Yelp
I stumbled across Taco More while looking for a new Taco place in Round Rock. It did not disappoint! From chips to tacos, everything was hot, fresh & tasty! I ordered 3 tacos: Goat, carnitas & head beef. I liked the carnitas & head beef the best. The goat just wasn't my cup of tea. The tacos are $3 each, so my bill was around $10 before tip. Great value for the cost, and pretty popular too. I didn't have to wait, but it was filling up quickly! One star knocked off for slow service in placing my order & getting my check so I could leave. Otherwise great experience!

Yelp
This place has really great food, friendly service, decent prices, yummy queso and refreshing limonada. Would come back and recommend!

Yelp
Taco More has delicious tacos! The service was fast and friendly. They have low priced and good quality food. I ordered the pulled chicken tacos, they where GREAT! I will have to go back and try other dishes, if you are ever in Round Rock, TX check out Taco More.

Yelp
Excellent authentic Mexican food!!!! This place Really really good. We all know Mexican food done right is amazing, and Taco More does it right. The two tacos I had (Pastor & Goat) were fantastic, with lots of meat. The Cubana Torta was a meal in itself!! This place is amazing and can't wait to be back with family & friends. FIVE STARZZZ!!!! .... Fahgedaboutit ......

Yelp
Went to this place once a while ago and was pretty good. Wanted to come back and the address that's listed here, google, and their website is incorrect as the door says "closed for relocation," while still saying open on google and yelp

Steven S.

Yelp
Food was great, service was also great. If they're going to charge gratuity at least let us know. Basically they tipped themselves I came with a party of 10 people. 7 adults & 3 kids. I was going to leave a $10 tip & my uncle in law was going to leave a $7 tip as well. We split our bill in half, once we got our receipts, guess what? 18% gratitude charge was added without our concern to EACH receipt. $8 was charged from me and $22 was charged to my uncle. What if a poor family only had enough money for the bill & top? Then their card would came back declined because of their gratuity charge. I'll ask a cop friend if this is legal or not.

Yelp
Being in Austin I can never find good Mexican food. Everything is to gringo out here. But this place is bomb af. Super authentic food . The food is amazing if your looking for Mexican food. 10/10 I'm coming back

Yelp
I really tried to like this place but after a few rounds I just can't. The recommendations come as they have goat tacos. Quite a unique offering comparatively in Austin. Well I've tried goat tacos in regular corn tortilla form and then in quesobirria form. Both needed some additional salt. Not much seasoning or fat to make up for it. I would even say the regular beef carnitas or beef head is more flavorful. The consume birria broth was warm water with hint of smoky spice chili with hominy that were too crunchy for my preference. I also tried the chile relleno with cheese as generally, those are difficult to messed up (fried cheese) but to the biggest disappointment, the cheese inside was not cooked all the way it was not melted. It was cubed and crumbly resembling the appearance of hard tofu. Similarly, little flavor but the fried part was good and fatty enough. It did come with a side of sauce that helped tremendously but all it all still bad. Rice was scrapped from the bottom of the pot due to its spotty burn marks and then beans were just okay. They added extra fat in there but again, need salt.

Yelp
Taco More- Round Rock is so good! It's tucked back a little from 79 in Round Rock, right behind Long John Silvers (unfortunately). I don't know how I hadn't been here prior. When Spanish-speaking individuals are eating here, you know it's gonna be good! The servers speak more Spanish than English. I got 3 tacos with the marinated pork (Al pastor) being my favorite. The chips and warm salsa are also great. Voy a regresar, gracias Taco More!!!
google avatar

Paula P.

Yelp
Solid taco spot with authentic Mexican choices. The salsa bar is still out but the servers still bring out all the favorites including cut cucumber and radishes to snack on while you wait for your food. If you are looking for TexMex, this is not the place for you.
google avatar

Tammy G.

Yelp
My husband and I ate lunch there today and we will not be coming back. We ordered beef enchilada plates with 2 sweet teas. The bill was $34.64. I had to remove the fajita meat because it was so tough I could not chew it. White refried beans, rice and the red sauce was tasteless. We drove to Round Rock to go eat at La Tapatia and they are temporarily closed due to moving into a much larger building, rightfully so! The service was fine and yes we did tip our waitress directly and thanked her. But this was the worst tasting Mexican Food I have ever eaten.

John D.

Yelp
DO NOT place orders online. I ordered twice online and order was not taken for both times and my card was charged. It's been 6 days and still waiting on refund.
google avatar

Keo T.

Yelp
Great food I suggest the carne asada plate. Also the green sauce and other salsas are awesome. Lemons are great with the cucumbers and salsa. Also the beef fajita plate is great as well. The meat is not overly seasoned but it is still flavorful.
google avatar

Jeff U.

Yelp
Well Let me say I've never been here but, I won't return. Refried beans were watery and tasteless Rice was white and tastiness Salsa was served hot, so hot in temperature I think I burned my tongue We said no avocado bc we have allergy-served it anyway Wtf? Tortillas store bought and bland to say least Service slacked off and became non existent Please Don't waste your time

Yelp
I have been stopping by this place for a few years now, every time I'm in the Austin area. My favorite food item on the menu is their chicken soup. This coming form a non-soup person means it's really something special! FYI it's made with consommè (broth/stock). The soup has rice, garbanzos, shredded chicken. It comes with a side of onions/cilantro/tortillas. The soup is very flavorful and not just your typical chicken soup! Their tortas are also pretty good. I also like their micheladas. The seasonings are well balanced and the glass they serve it in comes with a plastic part to hold hour beer in place. Not a fan of their tacos the meat is sometimes dry and the seasoning they use is not my favorite. Everyone is different. I continue to come primarily for the soup! They a few locations in the Austin area and they are all consistently good!
google avatar

Yelp
Probably the best Mexican food I've had in the Austin/RR area of Texas. Fresh made chips, spicy salsa, perfectly cooked Chile Relleno and amazing horchata. All the food that my party had was beyond delicious. Great breakfast tacos too. Looking to make this place my staple
google avatar

Susan B.

Yelp
What a hidden little gem for some great goat tacos and goat broth soup! I had a most excellent Michelada, and very friendly wait staff.
google avatar

Patty J.

Yelp
Had been wanting to visit for a while. Heard great things, finally made it there. My friends thought it was good, but There was really no options that were vegan/gluten free so I just had a drink
google avatar

Alexandra B.

Yelp
I really wanted to like this spot as the goat tasted decent. My torta had hardly any filling (see photo). To make things worse, the meal revisited soon after eating. Overall underwhelming and disappointing.
google avatar

Samuel T.

Yelp
Decided to try this place for a change in breakfast tacos. Were a bit disappointed after reading so many positive Yelp reviews. The price was a bit high and my two egg, potato, bacon, and cheese tacos were not quite what I was hoping on.
google avatar

Kevin M.

Yelp
This place is badass! Great tacos, great salsa, cold beer and it's not that dirty. I like it a lot!
google avatar

Kisha C.

Yelp
Taco More is my favorite spot to order breakfast tacos for myself, family and/or co-workers. They always taste so fresh and good. Price is reasonable as well. Haven't tried anything else on the menu as of yet but I will be soon. Will definitely be back for my tacos!

Destinie R.

Yelp
The food is great, there's no doubt, But the service is horrible!! My fiancé and I come here often and today we received the worst service ever!!!! First of all, the food was brought out to each of us separately. Everyone else in the restaurant was not served that way. This establishment is very racist. They served us our food and never came to check on us. We never received refills on our water, that we drank before our food even came out. So we ate our whole meal with nothing to drink. The waitress checked on all of her other tables, made eye contact with us and still didn't get us water. We waited about 20 minutes and finally our waitress came to the table, with our empty waters at the end and asked if we needed anything. It was very obvious we were being treated differently. I get fajita beef tacos every time I go, and this time the meat wasn't cut up all the way, I look around and everyone else's was diced. Mine were 2 inch chunks that were impossible to chew. After going back and forth with one of the employees they didn't want to, but they remade my tacos. And guess what they were cut up just like everyone else's. It took us calling them out before they stopped treating us differently. We will not be back to this location, I advise you to avoid this location and drive 20 minutes to the Austin location. The food and service there is 10x better!
google avatar

Holly E.

Yelp
I'm struggling to figure out why this place has such great reviews. The chips are store bought and stale, the enchilada sauce is canned, the salsa isn't salsa... it's ranchero sauce, and the refried beans are so pale and runny that I couldn't get past the look to try them. Very disappointed.
google avatar

Yelp
Taco More is a chain in Austin, and this location is just off Hwy 35 and W Palm Valley Blvd in Round Rock. Blink and you'll miss it as it sits right behind a Short Stop. I'd give this 3.5 stars but Yelp! isn't a fan of the half star thing. Food: Not a ton of options, but they had posole, which is why we went. A medium sized bowl was the perfect portion of soup, filled with tender chunks of pork, hominy, and mildly spicy soup. It had a bit too much powder in the soup base, and could have used a bit more porky flavor (perhaps more bones in the stock,) but a good soup nonetheless. It was served with a side plate of shredded lettuce, chopped Spanish onions, cilantro, a sliver of avocado, and three tostadas. Tacos - the bean and cheese was ok. Beans needed a bit more flavor. Beef fajita was good. Chicken fajita had way too much black pepper. Al pastor was the best. The bacon and egg taco can be skipped. As you'll see from the pic, it was almost an omelette slapped onto a tortilla. Chips and salsa are served when you're seated, and there's a salsa bar. Service: Friendly and efficient. Food comes out in good time, and drinks are refilled often. Cost: Four tacos and the medium posole with a diet soda ran us $22 after tax. Pretty decently priced. Overall: Parking is plentiful. The restaurant is clean, and has a good vibe inside. I'd come back for the posole again as it seems not many places make it in Austin. Affordable, and they take cards.

Yelp
Greatest breakfast tacos!!!! And so quick! Good service! Can order to pick up. Their spicy salsa is the best and definitely not for the week!!
google avatar

Yelp
Updating to 5 stars! We just ate here again and the service was fast, the food was fresh and hot, the prices are very reasonable, and there was silverware! I'm trying out the Keto diet and the alhambre meal was perfect! ------------------------------- We visited today for the first time. The restaurant was very busy which made me happy because this location seems to not keep a business for too long. The tacos were excellent. My son commented that he can't remember having better Barbacoa anywhere. He said this is 50 times better than anything I've had. The soup with the goat meat was fantastic. Such complex flavors without being overly spiced. The salsa bar was phenomenal. I've never seen anything like it. There were six or seven different types of sauces unlike any I've had before. They also had radishes, oranges, fabulous roasted jalapeños, cucumbers, and some interesting pickled vegetables that were very spicy. I would go back again just for the condiments bar. The reason I'm giving this restaurant four stars instead of five is they don't give you silverware. I know it sounds funny, because it's a taco restaurant but we really needed silverware and once we were able to get someone's Attention and say we needed silverware, she came back after quite some time with just one fork and there are four of us. I'm laughing as I write this because it's just so silly but having some silverware at the table would be great. I really enjoyed my time at this restaurant and I can't wait to go back and hopefully be able to bump my review up

Yelp
Nothing but a positive experience on my first visit! I had this place bookmarked for a bit. Oopsy! We finally decided to try something different so we came here. The menu has breakfast tacos and tacos (a la carte) on one side and the other side has their traditional plates, seafood, soups, speciality plates, specials (hamburger, nachos, enchiladas, burritos, etc) desserts and drinks. Breakfast is served all day! Woot woot! They have a salsa bar too! Yyyeess! So glad I can get my spicy salsa and try different flavors too. I love caldo, but the weather decided to get warm. I ordered tacos: fajita, chicharron and pastor. The tacos were so good!! The meat is full of flavor and taste. We were served chips and salsa. The salsa was warm. It wasn't spicy to us so we added the spicy salsa to it to give it a kick. So good! The service was awesome. On a Monday night, they had three servers assisting so we didn't go without drink refills and had excellent service. Thank you for the amazing tacos and service.

Todd K.

Yelp
Tacos were subpar salsa was liquidy, and flavorless tortillas were OK and my ice tea was cloudy. Won't be going back here.
google avatar

Justice R.

Yelp
Giving this place a 4/5 simply because of their to go order customer service. This place has really great tacos and we love dining in here! Definitely think it's worth the price. BUT if you are ever wanting to pick something up quick on the way home it's never quick. Every time you come in they will always have your order wrong or there was never a ticket given to the kitchen. Just be cautious!
google avatar

Brittany L.

Yelp
The tacos here are okay...nothing spectacular but good. They are open late and the prices are low in comparison to other taco places in the area. I do love the salsas they have - super spicy!

David Z.

Yelp
Probably the most authentic Mexican restaurant I've been to out here. Very friendly, welcoming, and great food. Even brought out water for my dog without having to ask.
google avatar

Bobbie U.

Yelp
So delicious, the menudo is worth it. Concerning the menudo its spicy and comes with flour Tortillas, onions, cilantro and jalpenos chopped on the side. The large menudo is 10 bucks. The tacos as others have said is awesome. They don't skimp out on their food. It's cheap and awesome. I love this place, its clean and the people that work here are sweet and awesome.

Corinne M.

Yelp
Love this place! Really amazing, authentic Mexican food for a great price! Never disappoints!
google avatar

Adolfo G.

Yelp
This place serves authentic Mexican food. You can't go wrong, everything on the menu is delicious.

A B.

Yelp
This place sells the worst tacos and salsa I ever tasted in my life! if I could give 0 stars I would. How they even in business and for the price they charge is a total rip off!

Rebecca H.

Yelp
Ordered 4 tacos. Yes tacos were good but one thing- I was given only 3 sauces. C'mon man! This was the 2nd time this happened. One inside the Pflugerville-where I sat down to eat. I asked for another sauce. This one was to go. Thank goodness for pace picante at home. Pkease give me some sauce.
google avatar

Alejandro C.

Yelp
Taco More, what happened to you?! we have been coming here for quite some time now and everything was great the quality and taste of the food was good and the quantity too but now they have changed the style of the menu and everything is more gringo style now when we ordered it tasted almost as always good but did not come in the quantity as always. Taco More in Rundbergh tastes diferent than here.Super friendly waitresses and workers as always too. But the prices have gone up and the quantity of the dishes has gone down they used to be really generouse with the plates.
google avatar

Kayla I.

Yelp
5 stars for the drinks! Stopped In after dinner and fell in love with their drinks. Best Michalada I've had that I didn't make! They also have a Mariachi Band on Friday and Saturdays staring around 7pm. It was packed but no line. We will be back to try the food for sure.
google avatar

Tammy Y.

Yelp
The salsa is not salsa. It's ranchero sauce. The chips are store bought. The bean and cheese nachos were SO bland all I could taste was the cut up and deep fried corn tortilla holding them. And the "queso" was melted velveeta cheese with maybe some generic, watered down version of Rotel mixed in. And the whole place had an overwhelming smell of fabuloso. Will not be returning. But I wish them well.
google avatar

Teresa P.

Yelp
Out first and last time eating here. I was looking for a authentic mexican restaurant and let me start the tortillas were store bought the food was disgusting and the drinks had no flavor. I'm gonna keep looking til I find Mexican good!
google avatar

Ed S.

Yelp
Just not very good from start to finish. I'll start by saying that I really enjoy Tex-Mex food, but not this version. The chips were boring (a word that I'll use in this review again), and seemed slightly stale. I would have gladly switched them out with almost any brand of packaged chips. The salsa was very tomato-heavy, and tasted like it came out of a can. My chili rellano was beautifully presented, hot and fresh, but that's where the positives end. After we requested actual silverware, instead of the plastic service that was initially brought, I found the beef to be generously portioned, but it seemed boring (there's that word again), and totally unseasoned, with the egg coating actually overpowering any other taste. This is a dish that I normally love, and I didn't finish this one. My SH's enchiladas were also very nicely presented, but were so spicy hot that she couldn't eat more than a couple bites. And while the sauce was very hot, I tried it, and personally didn't find it particularly tasty. Finally, the dining room didn't seem very clean, and was not serviced well (e.g. the napkin holder on our table had one napkin). I had heard great things about this restaurant, but sadly we won't be going back.
