Casa Pei+ is my go-to spot for a Saturday noon lunch in Madrid. The dumplings à la plancha are simply phenomenal — perfectly seared, flavorful, and consistently excellent. The wonton fritos are just as impressive: crispy, satisfying, and hard to stop eating.
The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, with nice, simple furniture that makes the space feel relaxed and unpretentious. It’s the kind of place where you immediately feel comfortable.
I highly recommend arriving before 13:00 to secure a table, as it fills up quickly. That said, even if you end up waiting 30 minutes when it’s busy, it’s absolutely worth it.
