This was my first time here and it was for a work outing. From the beautiful outside decor to all the amazing memorabilia inside and various historical photos this place was top notch. We were greeted promptly with friendly service and we were wished away upstairs to our reserved area. The food was amazing and the drinks were flowing. I was thuroughly blown away at the presentation and service. A wide range of food from chicken and raviolis, meatballs and salad set up like a Michelin star restaurant. Great for a gathering or a date night. I would definitely come back again. *Side note there is an awesome white rooster that hangs out front. Treat him nicely!

Tampa Bay Food Tours is highlighting a local treasure. Housed in a former 1925 Ybor City Ferlito Macaroni Co. factory, Casa Santo Stefano pays a fond tribute to Sicilian food. Richard Gonzmart 4th generation caretaker of the Columbia Restaurant Group knew he wanted to share the food he grew up eating at childhood friends’ homes. Those Nana-cooked meals provide the inspiration for the pastas, sauces and seafood featured at Casa Santo Stefano. Not just Sicilian, but Tampa Sicilian! The menu pays tribute to the wave of Sicilian immigrants who – along with the Cubans and Spanish – helped build Tampa and Ybor City after coming to America looking for a better life. Specifically, a huge percent 60% of the Sicilians in Tampa came from Santo Stefano Quisquina area. During a recent meal with CMO Michael Kilgore one of his quotes resonated with us. "They came looking for America and instead helped create it." The hand-painted, colorful backsplashes, tabletops and countertops were ordered from a family in Caltagirone, Sicily. The vintage pictures artfully scattered around the restaurant represent many of the founding Sicilian families in Tampa, they were generously shared by their proud descendants.

Great drinks, great food, great service. Extensive wine menu if you’re into that. Very well set up on the inside. Ambiance, service, location, all stellar. Down to the parking availability this is just a great spot. Came here because other restaurants in the area have gone downhill over the years… was not disappointed. I highly recommend stopping by.

I wasn't aware of this restaurant until a friend of mine told me about it I'm from New York, so I know what good Italian food is. This place checks every box. The atmosphere feels like a New York City Italian restaurant. I went in for a late lunch, and from the moment I was seated, my server Ciara was attentive, friendly, and knew her stuff. I ordered the chicken parmesan and the side Caesar salad. That Caesar salad what's the best one I've had in years. I finally found a place that does chicken parm the way it's supposed to be done, with the chicken breast pounded thin and sauteed, not fried. I didn't even need my knife to cut the chicken. The red sauce was fantastic, and I'm very picky about my sauce. The pasta that came with it, was cooked perfectly, and the portion sizes are huge. I have the best leftovers for lunch tomorrow! I added an affogato for the perfect ending to an amazing lunch. I will definitely be back, and I don't think I'll be ordering chicken parm from anywhere else from now on. 5 stars. Loved it!!

I don’t even know where to start! My sister and I celebrated our birthday. A friend of ours recommended this restaurant for dinner. First of all, the atmosphere alone was amazing. This restaurant feels so cozy, warm, and welcoming. We were immediately sat at our table. Our waiter Vincent was the best waiter I have ever had. He was so polite, welcoming, and his sweet personality and smile was everything. Vincent was very attentive to every detail. Vincent was patient, and allowed us to enjoy each other’s company as a family. Vincent recommended certain drinks, food, and desserts! The drinks, appetizers, entrees, and desserts were absolutely amazing. I love that they give you a signed card and cookies for your Birthday. We will definitely be back to Casa Santo Stefano in the future. Definitely recommend, our visit was a 10 out of 10!

Came here for a girls' night and had such a great time! Loved that we got a booth it made things feel super cozy and fun. The place is gorgeous, with a really cool vibe that works for a date night, girls night, or even something work-related. The food was really good! The menu is pretty big, so I’d suggest taking a peek at it before you go if you don’t want to feel overwhelmed. Shoutout to our server Rebecca — she was awesome and had us laughing by the end of the night! & if celebrating a birthday they bring over a box of cookies with a card signed by the staff which I loved the attention to detail!

We went there to celebrate my fiancé’s birthday, and the manager surprised us with the sweetest gesture at the end of our dinner. It was such a unique experience! Despite dining at countless restaurants, from casual spots to fine dining, this was the first time we received something so thoughtful. Our server was great! The food was absolutely delicious too. We truly loved this place and will definitely be coming back.

Google
We absolutely loved this restaurant—everything exceeded our expectations. The quality of the food and the pricing were both excellent. It’s authentic Sicilian cuisine served in a beautiful ambiance. The arancini appetizer was the best I’ve ever had, and the grilled fish was perfectly prepared. Be sure to try the mussels—the sauce they’re served in is simply outstanding. It’s been a long time since I’ve enjoyed a restaurant this much. We were truly amazed by our dinner experience. They also have a fantastic wine list with very reasonable prices. A heartfelt thank you to Panos, the manager, and the entire team for a wonderful evening.

Yelp
My friend and I came here for desserts The lemon vanilla cake is my favorite and my friend enjoyed hers as well. We were given a very nice slice for each of us . I also had a cappuccino with my cake. The ambiance was very nice. We were able to talk and catch up and the overall cleanliness of the restaurant.

Yelp
It had a comfortable atmosphere and friendly service. Overall the experience was good-- some things could be better; others were great. Grapefruit basil smash mocktail (2/5) -- It was good at first but it got watery after a few sips so I wouldn't recommend. Tiramisu (3/5) -- It was a big size and had a good balance of flavors. Toasted gnocchi (4/5) -- I've never had toasted gnocchi so I'm not sure if it's possible to make it crispier because that's what I expected. I enjoyed it overall. Even without the sauce, the gnocchi tasted delicious on its own. Meatballs (5/5) -- The meat was perfectly blended and I could've had many more of these.

Yelp
I came here for an early lunch and let me start by saying the inside is beautiful! They have a rooftop on the second floor with a bar and cigar lounge, which is definitely a nice touch. There is a dedicated parking lot for parking that is for the Columbia and Casa Santo Stefano. Parking in ybor is always a pain so it's nice they have free parking. They did bring focaccia bread to the table for free, the ravioli was delicious! The Barrata salad was also a hit. I highly recommend getting the Arancini as a starter that was very flavorful. The service was spot on. I will definitely be back with my family for dinner! I definitely recommend this spot in Ybor if you were looking for some good Italian food!

Yelp
Classic Italian restaurant. The interior is decorated with lovely old photos. Had the best service I've experienced in a long time dining here. The waiter was professional, knowledgeable about the menu, and attentive. Food was fantastic. I had the lasagna which was delicious and large portion. The cannoli is a must for dessert.

Yelp
Came here for a brunch. We made a reservation a few days ahead. Service was absolutely exceptional! It's very hard to find a place with truly amazing server. Vince was above and beyond! Ambience is wonderful! Traditional, family style but at the same time romantic and cozy. Food was great and also price was very affordable. We had a salad to start with two mocktails. We also got complimentary bread, which was wonderful! Pizza was excellent as well as linguine with clams. We absolutely loved it and excited to try it for the dinner time.

Yelp
We came here on a Tuesday night for a friend's birthday dinner. Parking was easy in the lot across the street. The service was amazing from start to finish, and they really made her feel special on her birthday! The restaurant was beautiful inside, decorated warm and comfortable, yet upscale. I liked how the kitchen was open so you could see the chefs at work. The food was everything I was hoping for and more! The foccacia bread was soft and pillowy. The arrancini appetizer was so flavorful and the red sauce was slightly sweet but balanced. For dinner, I decided on the gnocchi dish, which came with a white cream sauce. The gnocchi with the vegetables and grilled chicken was amazing!! We were all so full, but had to get some gelato for dessert. All in all, an amazing experience!

Yelp
Reserved and sat as 4 top on a Sunday evening at 7. We actually arrived a little early and the accommodated us. Evening was our server,, explained specials too libations order and gave us a few minutes to check out the menu. Rustic brick outside, spacious inside with colorful settings. We dined on Margherita pizza, pasta nona, pasta bolognese and chicken francese. Everything was hot, delicious and plentiful. Saved some room for espressos and cannot, yummy. Enjoy!

Yelp
Ate there last night and STILL thinking about how amazing the food was! Can't wait to go back. Our server, Carlos, was absolutely a gem. He gave great recommendations and was so personable. The burrata appetizer is delicious. The gnocchi was possibly the best I've ever had, so full of flavor in every bite! Fantastic espresso martini too! Highly recommend. Send like reservations are preferred and maybe even necessary during peak dining hours.

Yelp
From the time you walk in the door you know you're in for a good meal. The aroma alone sets the stage. Combine that with a smiling wait staff and inviting booths and I was sold!

Yelp
Last night was my 7th or 8th visit to Casa Santo Stefano since they've opened 4.5 years ago ~ one of only two restaurants I truly love in Ybor City. I'll be honest, I'm not usually a fan of Ybor, but this place keeps drawing me back for all the right reasons. Our server, Carlos V., was attentive, kind, and never made us feel rushed. He took good care of our table and added to the overall relaxed atmosphere of the evening. I enjoyed a refreshing Lemon Drop Martini, followed by an Espresso Martini, and ended the night with the Kettle One Blueberry Lemon Spritz, which were all delicious! I usually stick with my go-to: the seabass with broccolini (though the grouper is equally phenomenal). Both are consistently prepared to perfection. A friend ordered the white pizza topped with spicy peppers, another one ordered fried calamari ~ absolutely delicious, and the eggplant appetizer was another hit. We also tried the gnocchi with shrimp, which was flavorful. It was an early birthday celebration for 1 of our friends, and Carlos kindly brought out a complimentary dessert. While it wasn't our favorite, the gesture was appreciated. One thing I truly value about Casa Santo Stefano is how accommodating they are when it comes to splitting checks. Sadly many restaurants in Tampa limit payment methods or force even splits now (regardless of what each guest orders), Casa makes it easy and stress-free ~ something that goes a long way in making guests feel welcome. The space itself is beautiful and spacious. We initially had a rooftop reservation, but it was closed for a private event. The team seated us downstairs, and we were more than happy. The décor feels authentic and warm, and it brought back wonderful memories of my recent trip to Italy and truly made my heart happy!

Yelp
First off I'm not a huge Italian fan but every so often I just get a craving that needs to be satisfied. After searching for hours I found this place and it did not disappoint. When I arrived it was so busy I had to wait to get a table and the wait was worth it. I started my dinner with dessert and got the torta al limone. It was the perfect start. It was light, delicious, and lemony. I got the spaghetti al Nero as my entree and it had the perfect amount of seafood. The sauce had just enough kick to it. And the ambiance made me feel like I was in a classic Italian restaurant made for a movie. Next time I need my Italian craving satisfied I know exactly where I'm going.

Yelp
Every aspect of our experience was top notch, down to the luxurious feeling yet disposable hand towels in the bathroom - just like the ones in some of the restaurants in Italy. We had an artichoke appetizer, split the familial salad and a veggie pizza, and each had the affogato dessert. The server brought us some house focaccia to start and it was amazing. She was also very attentive and checked on us repeatedly despite being very busy. I will definitely be back next time I'm in Tampa!
google avatar

Brittany D.

Yelp
Andrew the server was great! Attentive and accommodating! The food was good...the saving dish was the Rinaldo with spicy red sauce added in. The Vongole was a huge disappointment with a lot of grit from the clams. It was a check done type place for us. We love Sicily and had high hopes. The decor has Sicilian feel but can be spruced up a bit.

Yelp
I've been twice for dinner. This is a great spot for large group dining. The service has always been great. Food is solid and they have many options for different dietary preferences. I have been here to celebrate different birthdays and they do a good job of making the birthday person feel special.

Yelp
Had date night planned and wanted to try something new. I stumbled upon the restaurant and after unknowingly passing it every time I'm in Ybor! I was blown away by my experience. Our server, Vincent, was so attentive and made our time at the restaurant enjoyable. I had an Aperol Spritz and it was great. I loved that they added limoncello to it, giving the drink a citrusy twist. I had the Chicken Parm and my boyfriend had the Filet Mignon. The chicken parm was so good!!!! I just wish there was a little more pasta. The filet was phenomenal -- extremely tender and full of flavor. When I go back, it's going to be tough deciding what I want! Definitely a new favorite of mine.

Yelp
We came here for a weekday Birthday celebration for just two couples. Started with a Limonata Cocktail, very herby with Rosemary and Liqueur. Both couples ordered entrees to share, and Fried Calamari for an appetizer, and the other couple two sides for their fish entree because they were sharing. We ordered Littleneck clams with Linguine. I love it when the kitchen plates a shared entree for two people instead of being brought an extra plate. I consider myself a Calamari Officionado, as I order it everywhere it's made fresh, not frozen and fried. I will tell you it's the the best I've ever had, a huge portion, dusted and fried light, and so tender. Also included was fried slivers of Zucchini, a nice touch. The Clams and Linguine was excellent, plenty of clams, Linguine cooked aldente, and the perfect amount of sauce. The reason for my one star deduction was because the other couple's two sides were presented not with their fish dinner, but served well before the entree and after our Appetizer. The Birthday girl was presented with Lemon cookies and a Birthday card hand signed by the employees, what a thoughtful touch. Our server Pablo, was excellent. We looked upstairs later to check it out. Beautiful Pizza Ovens imported from Sicily as well as Vases, Paintings, and other Antiques.

Yelp
A great venue for classic Italian severed in an upscale well appointed restaurant. Service always great and attentive and the menu choices varied and extensive. Even the bathrooms are well appointed (I can only attest to the men's room)

Yelp
Still the best. Whether you are seated in the dining room with friends and family or at the bar with your sweetie. Great food. Great cocktails. The absolute best wait staff and bartenders in the business. Always a fantastic meal and a fabulous time.

Yelp
Consistently good food, excellent service, and a great space. The pork chop and ravioli were tops. It is a better value with better food than many other places in Tampa.
google avatar

Yelp
Great food , service and ambiance ! We had the meatballs for a an appetizer The sauce was amazing and two large meatballs were perfectly cooked ordered a beautifully made burrata salad then we split the grouper and broccolini for dinner which was perfectly made with crust on top and the broccolini tasted awesome Homemade gelato for dessert was delicious end to the dinner We have been here several times and are never disappointed In my opinion the best Italian restaurant in Tampa Definitely stop by if you are in the ybor city area
google avatar

Luis F.

Yelp
The ambience and food was really good here. We had no complaints about the food, everything was good. Our waiter though, seemed like he did not want to be there, everyone else that worked there that we came across were super helpful and professional. Great place for an Italian , Sicilian style dinner.

Yelp
Went on Saturday night sat a nice comfortable booth. Ordered the bruschetta board for an app., The sea bass and chicken Marsala. The server was very attentive and informative of the menu. The bruschetta was 3.5 out of 5, the sea bass was cooked perfectly and had great flavor the side was over cooked 3.5 out of 5 the price for what you get , the chicken Marsala had great flavor and was the star of the table 4.5 out of 5. The house cab is good, the old fashion was a little too sweet, ordered 2 both came back the same not worth the price.

Yelp
Even in Ybor City, right in Tampa, you can find a good Italian restaurant. Yes, you can get a pizza and a sandwich. But step inside a few others and you can find a real home-made Italian Meal. And when you come to Casa Santo Stefano you will find cooking the way it is made in Sicily. It is made like typical Italian fare, but here it is with the touch of what you might find in Sicily. More sauce. More garlic. A touch of heat and spice. It is what you would find there but you have here in Ybor City itself. We went inside and were given a seat. It is good to have a reservation even for lunch sometimes. The team was great. The young man was ideal. Started with beverages and suggestion of what we might find for today. Once he came back with the beverage we asked more questions. He is in no rush. You can take your time and prepare to stay for some time to eat, talk, and enjoy. The first thing we decided to have was an antipasti of meatballs and another of the grilled sausage. This was a good way to start. The meatball was made fresh. It was cooked in a sauce they are famous for. This was a delight to have. As for the sausage, this is not a big sausage. It is the round sausage that a true Italian knows of. This was grilled in oil and half a lemon. The flavor of the cooked lemon was different. It was warm and tasty. Dip in some bread and it was good to have before the entree. As for the entree, we did start with a fresh Lasagna. Had to have that. It is what you expect if you made it at home. It had around 3 layers and was filled with cheeses and sauce. A good size to share. Which we did as we sampled everything we ordered. Next we had home-made Gnocchi alle Verdure Fresh potato gnocchi tossed with cremini mushrooms, broccolini, baby spinach, peas, garlic and shallots in a light cream sauce with Pecorino Romano cheese. This is alone a meal that four people could share as the pasta course. Of course, had to have Linguine with Clams. This was sautéed and simmered in white wine, fresh grape tomato sauce, shallots, garlic, spicy crushed red pepper. Again, heavy with garlic and some might want it lighter. But overall it was something to enjoy. the clams were fresh for the day. Finally, had a traditional house dish...Pasta alla Norma. Made with Sicilian Casarecce pasta, fried eggplant, house-made tomato sauce, garlic, grated ricotta salata cheese. This was a meal you could not stop having. Perfect. After the fresh meals and courses, had to finish with an Espresso. It was freshly made. This was not from a store. This was from the espresso pot itself as you find in Italy. It was a good size amount which is ideal if you like a good espresso. Casa Santo Stefano is a good place to find in Ybor. You might never know it was there. It is off the main street just behind a famous restaurant Ybor is know for. The selections are good. The team is helpful. The prices are great based on the amount and quality of the food you will be having. We liked it so much, we shall have a family event there later in the year. Buona!

Yelp
Today was Our second visit to this charming restaurant Casa Santo Stefano, a Silician restaurant owned by the Columbian family, Gonzmarts. It is becoming a new Tampa/Ybor City favorite!m for us! Thankfully our darling waiter, Gino let us know how generously sized their sandwiches are. WOW! HUGE!!! Their Italian sausage sandwich on Cuban bread was excellent with their handmade potato chips. Their side mixed salad was one of the best that I ever had! For dessert we ordered their cannoli's. By far one of the best that I have ever tasted!!! We will definitely be returning...since they weren't busy yet, I enjoyed perusing the old photos from the Silician families who landed here generations ago.

Yelp
10 out of 10!!! Wow this place was good. Amazing service. Beautiful atmosphere and food...chef's kiss! I came with a group of 15 tonight and everything was on point! I had the sea bass with spinach to eat. So good! I had the Sicilian sunset to drink. And for dessert, a delish Italian cake (not on the menu). Great experience! Totally recommend!

Yelp
Hands down, this is my favorite Italian restaurant in the Tampa Bay area, out of several I've tried. And that's saying a lot, having been born and raised in New Jersey. I've been here twice now, and both times the service and food were amazing. Shout out to Becca, our server, who really made our evening special and took extra good care of us! The ambiance is wonderful, great for a special occasion, and very romantic for a date night. 100% recommended. Please leave room for dessert - it's worth it. My favorites were the tiramisu (some of the best I've had and close to what I make), and the cannoli (the filling was freshly made with a beautiful flavor). Make sure to make reservations well in advance. Arrive early for parking - there's a lot across the street from the restaurant, but this can fill up depending on the time of day. Please note - the tiled floor is slippery to walk on - the only thing I didn't like - so please be careful when walking, especially in heels and make sure to assist those who may lose their balance.

Yelp
What a fabulous dining experience! First of all, the restaurant is gorgeous and really big. We had an excellent server who was so friendly, so willing to make the entire night great and was also very funny. He was very knowledgeable on the menu and was patient with my indecisiveness! To start, my party ordered the Tostata Taormina, the Valenti's Burrata and we had Focaccia Bread. Everything was delicious and tasted so fresh. Enjoyed all of them. As my entree I went with the lasagna and I was pleased with my choice. The portion was nice and the flavors were just so good. To drink I ordered the Sicilian Aperol Spritz and when my server noticed I didn't quite like it he helped make it a little bit sweeter for me which I really appreciated. Afterwards it was great and I was able to enjoy it! Overall, great place. Great food, ambiance, and service -- can't wait to come back!

Yelp
Cute little place down the street from where we live, so we're long overdue to try it. The menu is pretty expansive and the house bread has an amazing texture and is served hot. Our server was very nice and the drinks are reasonably priced and refreshing.

Yelp
Vincent was great. Highly recommend. Food was delicious, atmosphere was cool but the service was the best I've had in a long time. Great find and will be back next time we are in town.

Yelp
I came here for lunch on Mothers Day it was my second time and first time for my group. We started off with Calamari Fritti (so good and loved the zucchini strings that come with it) and the Mussels "Lazarra". My mom couldn't stop talking about how good and fresh the mussels were. For entrees, my mom and grandma split the Linguine Frutti Di Mare (they even split the dish into two serving dishes for them) it had clams, shrimp, lobster and squid in it. They both really enjoyed this. My son has the supremo pizza said it was good and I had the tortellini dish with shrimp and scallops this was on their Mother's Day menu and I don't remember the name of the dish but it was good. My mom and I really enjoyed their red sangria too! I was looking forward to their pistachio gelato for dessert but we got a tiramisu to go (which is soooo good) because my son had to get to work! Service was good. She welcomed us and went over the history of the restaurant and some of the menu items. She was attentive and so were the other staff members. It was a nice Mothers Day lunch and everyone enjoyed themselves. My mom is already planning her next visit there after being introduced to it.

Yelp
I LOVED this place from the second we walked in. So much character, so much to look around at and enjoy! Our service from Pablo was over the top outstanding, even though they were packed and busy. We had two appetizers.....the calamari with zucchini and the eggplant. Never before had we had such a great app as the eggplant that was sliced thin and topped with the amazing red sauce. I ordered pollo Parmesan for my dinner and there was so much that I took half home. I recommend Casa Santo Stefano. Such a fun, lively place.

Yelp
First time trying this place, we made an 8:15 reservation and didn't get seating until about 8:40 which was a little frustrating but the place was PACKED. Our server was very knowledgeable of the menu and wine list and the food came out ridiculously fast! The food was yummy but it wasn't the best I've ever had... But the ambience was great, and we especially loved the guitarist walking around playing/singing! Fun place to visit if you're celebrating a special occasion!

Yelp
Very nice Italian restaurant in Ybor next to Columbia. Lots of parking. We had a Carnival special menu Bracioluni which was braised flank steak with sausage and cheese, and pasta, very good. Look at the special menu for carnival. The grouper fish was too tough, almost was going to return. Server Gia was fabulous. Most highly recommended!!

Yelp
I ordered a tiramisu espresso martini & it was delicious, the food was also amazing. the staff was very attentive the service was also great.

Yelp
This is a review of their rooftop bar. I came here for a PanCAN Tampa Bay celebration. 1905 Family of Restaurants donates every year to PurpleStride, the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer. I was already primed to like this place because my friend, Brett N.'s, five star review popped up for me when I was looking into this place. I didn't expect to be as wowed as I was. First, their drinks are amazing. I got the Paradiso, which is a blood orange margarita made with fresh blood orange juice. I'm a weirdo who loves freshly squeezed juice and was recently disappointed at a local fine dining spot that they didn't have freshly squeezed orange juice. Here they do and they put it in this amazing margarita. Even though I didn't really taste the tequila, it was strong. I was pleasantly surprised by that. Future Christina, get this drink every time. We had a variety of food. Unfortunately, I couldn't eat most of it since I don't eat pork, but I did get to try the Margherita pizza and the Scacciata Siciliana. I usually avoid carbs, but I ate four pieces of that pizza. It is to die for. It is so thin, perfectly seasoned, and not too much cheese (which is a weird thing to say, but trust me, it works with this pizza.) I wasn't planning to eat much, but I ended up devouring this pizza. My son who is a notoriously picky eater actually ate three slices. I was floored. The rooftop is gorgeous. There are seats inside when it is too hot (like it was for us) or if it's raining. There is free parking in their parking lots. There are two giant parking lots that they have signs that they're Columbia and Casa Santo Stefano parking. When we got there at 5:30 there were tons of spots. By the time we left around 7:30 there were no more spots in the lot I was in, but there's another lot behind the restaurant so there could have been more spots there. Regardless, I love that this place offers free parking when most parking in Ybor you have to pay for. The service was also spectacular. I was in the restroom with my two young sons and one of the servers helped my son wash his hands. She said she was a former preschool teacher. That was really sweet of her. I wouldn't have had my kids here except to pass them off to my husband when he was off of work. However, everyone was so nice to them and made them feel welcome. I will 100% come back. This place exceeded all my expectations.

Yelp
Enjoyed a beautiful evening with great food, ambiance, and amazing service in Ybor City. The hostess Kayleana gave us such a warm welcome and although we didn't have reservations (highly recommend getting those) she offered us great seating where we could see and enjoy everything, to include the wood grills the wonderful chefs prepared the awesome dishes on. Kendall was also awesome and suggested great cocktails and food. It is neat to see the history and enjoy amazing food.

Yelp
The Casa Carnevale menu is amazing! Had the Linguine Granchio and finished off with the Biscoff Gelato. All parts equally amazing. Have a LOT of fun and sit at the pasta table in the heart of the restaurant!

Yelp
I'm so thoroughly impressed with last night's dinner we had here. Every single item we ordered was delicious. From the appetizer meatballs and calamari, to the Caesar salad, to our seafood pasta dinner to the dessert and coffee. The building is beautiful and amazing and our server, Britni, was attentive, funny, but not too much. She paced our meal beautifully. We love this place.

Yelp
Excellent, authentic Sicilian food (I was born and raised a few blocks away)! Great service! Returned for a special birthday dinner for our 22-year-old grandson. The food was wonderful. Veal Scalopine, Merluzzo, Pasta bolognese. All main dishes were excellent. But for me, the true proof of the kitchen was with the sauteed spinach with olive oil and fresh garlic side dish. It is so easy to overcook spinach so that you might as well have just opened a can. However, this was done perfectly... not raw and not overcooked. It was right on that edge of just begin done. Still hot when it arrived! Someone back in the kitchen has some great timing. Very nice wine, espresso, Amaretto sour and Nonino's Merlot Grappa. The Blueberry Lemon Spritz mocktail was excellent. Our server, Britney was extremely professional, efficient, courteous and new just the right mix of being a great server and giving us space and adding some very nice personal interaction (her grappa story was great)! We will absolutely return for more special occasions!

Yelp
Always amazing experience. You are made to feel very welcome as soon as you arrive. Beautiful place. Extensive wine list, cocktails very good. But the food is what will keep you coming back. The eggplant appetizer MILLEFOGLIE MELANZANE is large enough for s meal, especially paired with the Familia mixed salad. Really good. All their pastas are great. Their staff are terrific too, my husband's birthday dinner was made very special by them. Oh, and the affogato is a fabulous dessert!

Yelp
Casa Santo Stefano thank you for the oh so good food. Thank you to Stefano, our waiter/server who has been with the establishment for six months and hails from Italy, SanDiego California, he was great and so nice! Such a wonderful ambiance! The bread they start you off with is mouth watering and amazing. The 1925 Manhattan is such a delicious drink. I ordered the Pollo Marsala and it was great. i loved the Marsala sauce, the chicken and the tasty mushrooms! Parking is across the street from the restaurant and there are ample paces especially if you can beat the crowd during certain times. This establishment is a must when in Ybor city!

Yelp
Been for lunch and dinner and both were great. Parking is very easy right across the street in dedicated lot. The food is wonderful, good portions. Will definitely be back to check out their rooftop!

Yelp
Lovely room, but over priced for the quality of service and food. 7 PM reservaton but was seated at 7:25, asked for booth but was given a table, 15 minute search for a parking spot, ordered grouper but was served sea bass, focaccia was tasteless fill, broccolini stems were too chewy. All in all just ok but not superior.

Yelp
This is some of the best Italian food in the Tampa Bay area - the restaurant itself has such a nice family-style feel to it, while still feeling more upscale. We dined here for a friend's birthday and they were able to accommodate a larger party without issue. The only thing we didn't love was that if you are part of a larger party you can only order from a select, smaller menu rather than the normal dinner menu - I don't think anyone from our party was aware of this beforehand. The menu options weren't bad, and the food was still delicious of course (nobody had any complaints and the quality of food was still 10/10). We are planning a date night to go back so we can try the entrees that we had our eyes on from the regular dinner menu though. The rooftop bar area was also really beautiful - it made for a great picture spot and it's a great place to get together with friends and loved ones when the weather is nice (which is 90% of the time in Florida lol)

Yelp
Visited this spot a few days ago with a dear friend. The ambiance was very inviting. Service was exceptional. Server was very nice and provided great recommendations from the menu. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious!

Yelp
Will return. Love their tiles: colorful and beautiful. High ceiling, brick walls, really good ambiance, service and food. Lovely stems. Warm bread. The mussels and grouper with pesto is delicious. The tiramisu is to die for. The roof top is nice but the view is so so. The water in the bathroom is painfully slow. What do they have in the hand soup bottle?

Yelp
Our server was great.... Lasagna needed more layers with meat sauce and ricotta. ... chicken Marsala was really good. Bread needed a side of marinara sauce... gnocchi needed the veges cooked- were too raw. Otherwise was a really nice dinner

Yelp
I was here with my son (he's 19). We love chicken parm (I know, very basic). Nothing stood out about it. The sauce wasn't my favorite and the chicken tasted weird to both of us. Also, not part of the meal, but please don't give me 2 small slices of focaccia bread with my meal. Give me bread I can dunk in the sauce. While my review isn't really positive, I want to be fair and say the place is beautiful, a big parking lot and an extensive menu. Since I went based on reviews, it might be a better experience for you. Just don't order the chicken parm.
