Casa Tua Review - Aspen - The Infatuation

"Casa Tua is connected to a private club that has locations in Miami and Paris, but you don’t need to be a member to eat here or hang out at the back outdoor bar. Think of it like Soho House for skiers—just smaller and chicer. At this impeccably designed chalet, you’ll see plenty of people in Moncler cozying up with wooly throw pillows, browsing the coffee table books, and eating piles of antipasti and handmade pastas. And you should join them. Share an entree like the Mediterranean whole branzino or veal milanese, and don’t forget the more-than-worth-it and extremely large $30 pistachio gelato for dessert." - Katie Shapiro

J.K. Place Paris: What to Do in the 7th Arrondissement - AFAR

"The hotel's on-site restaurant offers approachable, satisfying Italian cooking—think plates of pasta and whole branzino—presented with more ambition than typical room service. After dinner, the marble-top bar is a cozy spot for a nightcap such as a negroni; the venue is also notable for being the brand's first location outside the United States." - Lyndsey Matthews

Nice atmosphere, but when my husband and son were handed a bag of "one size fits all" stretchy black pants to wear at outside seating, that ruined it for us. Son has autism and didn't understand. Left his belt in restroom trying to put on these different pants he was handed. Ridiculous. $28 beet salad. Won't go back.

Sweet little spot for a couple or small group, lovely sharable options with a great wine selection. A little too dim to read the menu comfortably(eye aches to headaches), so I ended up taking recommendations from our delightful server. I have no regrets other than forgetting my eyes are bigger than my appetite. Everything was delicious!! If it is a full house, be prepared to walk a narrow aisle between tables and duck around trees when seated outside. This wasn't a bother to us but may be for others. Hats off to our very accommodating servers... staff was attentive, patient, knowledgeable, and friendly. Definitely too pricey for it to be a regularly attended place.

We had dinner here the other evening. Neither of us was dressed to be "chic" and I did feel a little as if we were relegated to the table farthest from anyone else in the corner of the front porch. The more fancy dressed people were sitting inside. However, the evening was lovely and it was nice to sit outside. The food is excellent but be warned that this restaurant is very expensive. My husband and I shared the pasta with truffle sauce as our appetizer and it was superb. I could have eaten another full portion - portions are not huge here. My husband had the lamb chops and I chose the turbot. Both were excellent. Our waiters were very attentive.

Hilariously bad service! I tried making a dinner reservation online, following their through Open Table, but every date I plugged in returned the error message that there wasn't anything on that date within 2 1/2 hours of my requested 8pm. I looked for their phone number on their website to call instead, but this was not provided. A website which doesn't volunteer a phone number! So I Googled it and found it, called, and asked about an 8pm reservation for this Saturday. No, not available. What about next Saturday? Here I was told that I would have to call back another day as reservations are only taken between 10am and 4pm - it was 2 minutes past 4! And whereas she had time to repeat that there policy is to get ready for dinner service at 4pm, and to explain why I wasn't able to make a reservation online (they don't do - despite still having this link on their website as seemingly the only means by which to make a reservation). Casa Tua was recommended to us by friends in Florence, Italy but from the reviews it's apparently fallen off the cliff very recently. I'll have to let them know so they don't waste their money on their next visit.

I would have loved to give this restaurant a higher review because the food was superb. But at these stratospheric prices the service should be impeccable! The wait staff rushed around like they were on a marathon and kept banging into us . I had to ask 4 times to get water or wine refilled. There were many other issues I would have ignored in a lower priced restaurant but the general ambience noise level and service were quite below par .

Absolutely disgusting behavior. Refused to serve are group as the men where in shorts but yet its ok for the women to be in regular beach clothing. And it wasn't just that they where completely ignorant about it. Last time trying attending this hole in the ground. Its ok because another restaurant took are group of 10 and got a big check outta the hour an abit we spent there.

Unfortunately my party was never seated. We were told there was a dress code that had to be met but they seemed to only have an issue with what the husbands in the group were wearing. Other women in the restaurant were in typical beach “Miami” attire but the staff refused to serve us because we were not in full length pants. That wasn’t the biggest issue. The hostess and manager were extremely rude and refused to give an explaination as to why the clothes we were wearing was not allowed but what the women had on was.

They happen to kick a guy out for wearing shorts but looking at the photo associated with this place ya see alot people with there legs exposed..... Sadly they happened to kick the one guy out wearing shorts with a social media following, lesson of the day don't be rude to anyone what's so ever. You're a 4 star hotel treat every guest that shows up as if they have a social media with many followers and a wider influence. Do better in future.
