Let’s start of with the good thing, when you enter the premises it’s really nice, peaceful a really good ambient. We got greeted by the staff and after 30min of waiting we had a tour of the winery. The tour was really nice, the tour guide Lucas took his time to explain the things and also the ambience and story are amazing. After that the trouble begins, we get seated to our table, I went to the restroom and came back to the table with my first wine glass being poured already without any explanation except telling my girlfriend that he will be back to explain it to us. Well he didn’t until almost the second glass was filled and we asked if we can get an explanation of it as we didn’t get it. I think it’s because they have too many tables to accommodate with just one sommelier as the last wine we got instead before the desert almost when we were finished. And don’t get me wrong, he did a great job explaining all the wines and answering our questions, just overwhelmed i guess by numbers of guests? Then next of is the service, it was very slow, noone noticing we ran out of water to refill it for us. When we got the dishes even the waiters weren’t 100% sure what they are giving us as the dishes were presented very vague, or missing details. Between the courses we were given some “special” olive oil and said we will get bread to try it out. Well we didn’t. We had to ask for it as they forgot to bring it. The food presentation was nice but lacked depth. Especially the main dish the veal ribs and potatoes both had so much salt in them i could even chew some salt in the mashed potatoes… overall I don’t understand how this place has gotten a Michelin star as I have travelled the world and tried lots of restaurants and many Michelin ones and never have I been so disappointed and unimpressed. The price definitely isn’t worth the experience.
