"Casablanca, a spacious new bar in the Bishop Arts District, will officially kick open its doors next week. The latest establishment from Exxir Hospitality, the restaurant group behind other Bishop Arts spots like Paradiso and Botanist, will debut at 200 Bishop Avenue, Suite 113. According to a press release, the bar’s indoor-outdoor space is intended to evoke a vintage ‘70s vibe complete with frozen cocktails and shareable snacks. In addition to the main dining spaces, the bar will also boast its own “singeasy” complete with private karaoke lounges. Chef Nick Hurry, formerly of now-shuttered Dallas Arts District spot Proof + Pantry and current executive chef at Paradiso, will lead the kitchen. According to the chef, the menu will take inspiration from “food you might get at street stalls in southern China and Malaysia, bazaars of Persia, and smaller shared dishes in Northern Africa.” Sneak peeks of the menu on the bar’s Instagram hint at saucy noodle dishes, cardamom-scented lamb skewers, and fresh figs showered with pistachios, and steamed dumplings. Details on the cocktail list, developed by beverage director Iluggy Recinos, are scant, but it’s clear that the tropical influence will be heavy-handed. Expect swanky umbrella drinks, frozen pina coladas, and a Moroccan tea service that’s spiked with rum. Casablanca will officially debut on Thursday, October 21. When it arrives, the bar will be open from 5 p.m. to midnight Wednesday and Thursday, 5 p.m. to 2 a.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 5 p.m. to midnight on Sunday." - Amy McCarthy

New menu items are incredible! We tried the tempura green beans which were served with a spicy sauce. The steak tartare with truffle and crispy rice was so unique, I’d come back and order two. Other standouts were the Patty melt, taro chips and caviar, and the Garlic noodles were the best I’ve had in the city. The new enclosed patio is a game changer and the dj was on point. We can’t wait to come back and karaoke soon!

Google
The atmosphere was really nice especially when the weather is beautiful outside. They have karaoke rooms in the back that seem really fun. We got the alcoholic tea pot for around 60 bucks and yeah I would not suggest it. The food looks amazing and some dishes more flavorful than others. The Karaage was delicious.

Google
I visited Casablanca recently, and overall, it was an okay experience. The place looks nice and has a pleasant ambiance. The menu is quite simple and seems to focus more on alcoholic drinks, which might appeal to those looking for a variety of cocktails. We ordered a few items, and the edamame was a decent portion, which was a pleasant surprise. However, one major downside was the flies inside the restaurant. There were about eight of them just hovering around, which was beyond annoying and definitely took away from the dining experience. Despite the attractive setup, the presence of flies really needs to be addressed to improve the overall atmosphere and comfort for guests.

The tipsy bar has themes throughout the season. Summer is beach theme along with great drinks and ambience. Definitely worth checking out for a summer night out!

Google
Great ambience and vibe!! The food is great!. It’s all about the experience and a great place to visit with friends. They have patio arrangement for sitting as well but won’t recommend sitting outside especially when it’s summer. Drinks were good too.

Google
This is such a great place for hanging out with friends! Atmosphere is so vibey and drinks are 10/10! Definitely will be my new spot for a bite and some cocktails

I used to like coming here for the food, but the music was always a little too loud for conversation. So I stopped coming. I came to revisit again on Sunday, while I was hungry, and in the area. Not sure I had any expectations coming back, but I was pleasantly impressed. The playlist was awesome, and not too loud. Omar welcomed me in to have a seat at the bar, and made me feel right at home! Drew took great care of me! I was excited to see there was a new menu to try and overall could see there’s been so many improvements both on the bar and kitchen side. Drew walked me through the new menu and my whole experience. Service was above and beyond any experience I’ve had here prior. Great job Casablanca! The talent here speaks for itself keep up the awesome work, I’ll be back more often now!! Oh, and can you please bring back hot tea service? 🫶🏽

Google
The place is nice for hanging out. The environment is fine, and the music is decent for conversation. They have nice decorations there for pictures or contemplation. The food is limited to Asian fusion with not many options. Portion sizes are alright, and the flavor is just okay. Prices for meals are average. They offer a variety of drinks, but some are on the pricier side. It's suitable for a date, family, or friends. Finding parking can be a bit challenging, though.

Yelp
Came here for a birthday to do karaoke. Unfortunately our computer kept stopping so we didn't get the full experience but customer service was amazing and it was still a great time! The mini bites were also really great too. I believe it was duck wings and tater tots. Even if I don't come back for karaoke I will def come back for cocktails and bites

Yelp
I want to begin by saying that you are here for the vibe and the ambience and not the food. I want to give an additional star for our fabulous server Hebert . He was exceptionally fantastic and took very good care of us. The ambience is great, with nice seating and beautiful tiles. It is a good place to hang out with friends. The food was average. We had the fried beans, that were tasty but were very oily. The tots were OK..They call it poutine but the cheese was poorly melted and had very little of it.. and the egg was fried to a crisp. Ideally the cheese should be gooey in texture and should have a little more than served and the fried egg should add to the creaminess but it delivered none of that.. the tots were covered in a jarred gochujang sauce.. chicken fried rice was sub par. The chicken was very dry and didn't have any flavor. The rice was just a yellow rice with no vegetables or flavor. The chicken biscuit was again very average.. I had a non alcoholic drink which was sickeningly sweet and tasted synthetic.. We went in thinking that since the name is Casablanca, we would be served some unique North African flavors but instead we had Asian fusion.. Also, when requested for additional spoons, although they were very kind to get the spoons, but they were cheap plastic ones.. a gorgeous place such as this.. I am sure they can get some better quality disposable spoons. I believe the place was opened just a two months ago and I want them to succeed because it is truly a unique place. PS: a suggestion please have coffee during brunch

Yelp
Went here a while ago and ordered the Moroccan Toast, Golden Rice Katsu, Frozen Pina Colada, Beach Juice and Passion Fruit Margarita. The Moroccan Toast is a traditional french toast finished with mascarpone cheese, ras al nut, and bruleed fig. It was good, but has a ridiculous amount of sugar in it. Perfect choice for someone with a sweet tooth! Really enjoyed the Golden Rice Katsu - it comes with fried chicken katsu over chinese golden rice. The flavor of the rice is strong, something I really liked and the chicken had a nice texture to it. For the drinks, the Frozen Pina Colada was decent, but not something I'd order again. Beach Juice was very refreshing and it has so much ice in it, which was perfect since it was super hot the day I went. Last but not least, the Passion Fruit Margarita. I personally wouldn't order it again because it was way too strong to fully enjoy and I didn't finish it.

Yelp
I enjoyed every minute of this place even though I was alone and stopped at the door to check for capacity. I was there for a Bacardi event. The drinks were on point and the food was really good. The bartenders were very attentive. The ambience is everything! Sexy, classy, just really cute for date night or girls night out. I can't wait to go back when there's no events happening.

Nishitha M.

Yelp
Ambiance was 10/10 very different vibes and amazing interiors. Great place to dress up and take pictures. Wasn't a fan of the food, service or drinks. I didn't understand the drinks to order one and the menu was very limited.

Yelp
When I stepped into Casablanca, located in the heart of Bishop Arts, is like entering a Mediterranean dreamland! From the moment you walk to the building located off the street in the middle of some buildings, you're greeted by an atmosphere that's both chic and inviting. The decor sets the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable evening of culinary exploration and entertainment. Casablanca's has a limited menu but it's filled with Mediterranean delights. One standout dish is the Red Cooked Pork Belly, garnished with fragrant lemongrass and served alongside ginger rice, topped with a perfectly fried egg. Each bite is a harmony of flavors that will transport your taste buds on a journey of indulgence. Additionally, don't miss out on their tantalizing Thai Chicken featuring Thai popcorn chicken, fish sauce caramel, and curry aioli. It's a burst of exotic flavors that will leave you craving more. The waitress made sure we were well taken care of. Casablanca delivers with a live DJ spinning beats that keep the energy high all night long. While the DJ may leave at a certain point, the music remains a vibe that continues to set the mood for an unforgettable evening. We stepped outside onto the enchanting outdoor patio - it's an oasis of tranquility amidst the bustling city streets. it's the perfect spot to unwind and savor the moment.

Yelp
Casablanca is a beautiful restaurant. Light and airy and dreamy- makes you feel like you are on vacation- far far away from Texas. Service was unfortunately terrible- we had to wait and wait and wait some more. When a friend asked for the manager, we had to wait, wait and wait some more- she finally had to get up and find a manger- however after asking for the manager, we had several people come by to check on us- hmm. Food- we ordered a few bites- -the shishito peppers were pretty terrible, no flavor, extra crispy and sadly we threw our money away. -the short rib was good, flavorful and plentiful -the pumpkin dumplings- meh, they were fried and dried and not very flavorful but the sauce they dumplings sat on- very good and we used that to flavor everything we ordered. -garlic noodles, very good and seasoned well. Could have been saucier. -Dan Dan noddles were also very good and very spicy. Pretty disappointed in the service and response to wanting a solution with a manager. -

Yelp
What a cute lounge!!! PLUS karaoke!! $85 for one hour of karaoke. Good selection for appetizers and beverages. Our bartender was Eric very knowledgeable about everything on the menu and soo sweet!! Plus, there's free street parking that's always a win downtown !!

Yelp
12-30-2023 - My friend booked a Large karaoke room for birthday celebrations. Most of our group is not familiar with the Bishop Arts District so finding this place was a guessing game and maze. Once inside it was still very nicely decorated with Christmas trees and decor. We arrived exactly at 3pm our appointment time. The hostess was quick to check us in and we were escorted to the room. A quick explanation of how the system works was provided then we were left on our own. The room was small even though it was the "large" and for up to 15 guests. We only had 9 and it was cramped once you all have drinks, food and getting up/down to sing in the dark. There are QR codes you use to open the site where you can select the music. I suggest being prepared with a list on your phone with songs you may want to sing. The system allows you to input the name of who is singing the song, I loaded the queue with songs for the birthday girl to sing. You can move the songs in queue up/down. You can also adjust the volume and key on the site. There were only two microphones in our room, and it's very dark in the room but there is a slider light switch by the door if you need to adjust. The food options are lacking here, we ordered a few items to share and try. All food items were spicy, and nothing we would order again. The chicken skewer, sweet and sour pork dumplings, chicken and mushroom dumplings, a few guests ordered drinks. Total bill including the room rental was $318.08 and that included a 20% auto gratuity.

Yelp
We went for the tipsy elf/tipsy beach vibe which was cute. I wish there were fans outside because it was cute but hot so we were able to get a couch area inside Casablanca at 4pm on Friday with no issue. The couches are comfortable. Both of these cocktails are very good. The frozen pina colada tastes like it has amaretto and it was unique and delicious. Lots of ice in the beach juice so it was gone fast. The service was nice and accommodating!

Talitha C.

Yelp
What a fun place to be for brunch. If it's cool or not their outdoor patio is covered and has heat lamps so that you're still cozy. The seating is plentiful so it can fit large groups easily. The food wasn't really brunch food but the choices were good. Some of the highlights were The Harissa Chicken skewers The Pork and Plum dumplings The Thai Popcorn chicken. Red Lentil Hummus. They were all good. The table loved the Popcorn chicken the most. The drinks were deliciously on point. I had several of the Spice up Your life and Espresso Martinis. They were very well balanced. The best of all I would say was the ambiance. They had a dope guest Dj spinning. The service was also on point the entire time too.

Yelp
Super good vibes! We will definitely have to come back later in the day (night time) when it's more of a bar lounge! We went kinda early (5ish) so it was quiet. Just got 2 appetizers: edamame and garlic chili noodles. Edamame was super fresh & the salt was spread throughout which made each bite delicious! If you go, you MUST get the garlic chili noodles. They were flavor packed & the butteriest tasting noodles I've ever had. So soft and smooth.

Julia R.

Yelp
Casablanca never disappoints. The restaurant has Djs come in so the music is always upbeat, makes the meal more enjoyable. Every time we have ever come to Casablanca the service has been great, this time was no exception. We will definitely be coming back.

Christina O.

Yelp
I only went here for karaoke for my bachelorette party (didn't eat any of the food). The vibes in the karaoke rooms are GREAT! They've really put a lot of effort into making it such a fun experience. Unfortunately the karaoke equipment malfunctioned for most of the night. The staff were kind enough to comp our room rental, and eventually they did move us to another room and added more time to our booking. It still took away from the experience because we weren't able to stay in the moment and enjoy the whole time. I would come back and try again, but from other reviews it does look like this is a common experience. I will also say that our waiter was AWESOME and made our experience more fun despite the tech difficulties.

Claudia S.

Yelp
Absolutely stunning restaurant!!! I honestly don't think I've ever been to such a beautifully decorated restaurant I literally felt like I was in Bali!!! My bestie and I sat outside and we felt like we were in an oasis in the middle of Bishop Arts District!!! As for the food I can't rave enough about the unique fusion of cultural Silk Road flavors. We started with the chili garlic noodles. They come with a garnish of veggies and egg yet the garlic didn't overpower the dish. We also had the sweet and sour pork dumplings which weren't too sweet I loved them especially since they were crunchy on the outside. The papas bravas weren't actually spicy but more on the Indian spice level of tasty flavor without a kick. The gold medal goes to the pork belly. I just couldn't get enough of the crispy yet tender pork belly in the lemongrass sauce. Absolutely divine!!! I also tried ranch water and let's clarify cocktails but I felt they were kind of watered down and I didn't take pictures because they weren't cute as they were just clear liquids. Regardless I highly recommend this restaurant if you're looking for a chill and beautiful ambiance in the middle of Bishop Arts District in Dallas. Great for big groups to sit outside as well since they have a permanent tent!!!

Natalia R.

Yelp
Service - friendly, professional, quick Ambiance and Music - upbeat, modern, fun; has a Mediterranean and Moroccan vibe. Beautifully designed space - I would come back here any day! Food - nutritious, fresh, flavorful, filling. I loved the mix of cuisine; there's something for everyone on the menu. Special note: there's karaoke rooms available!

Lily M.

Yelp
We stopped at Casablanca (Casa Versace) to get a bite to eat before checking out the Tipsy Beach pop up that is right outside of the lounge. Casablanca is beautiful inside, I love all of the decor and cute places that can be perfect for pictures. Our waitress was friendly and gave us drink suggestions. I ended up ordering the Piña Colada which not only tastes great but it came in a beautiful white martini glass, with a cute little umbrella and shark to match the beach theme. The food however was a total miss. We ordered Sweet and Sour Pork Dumplings, Chili Garlic Noodles and Fried Shishito Peppers. I don't know what is happening in their kitchen but they need to use salt!! None of the food that we had contained flavor. The garlic noodles were spicy but aside from the subtle heat, there was no flavor whatsoever. My friends also complained about not being happy with their drinks. We ended up asking for our checks and leaving to just go ahead and check out Tipsy Beach. I was a bit disappointed because I wanted to enjoy the food. Maybe Next time Casablanca.

Kehmia T.

Yelp
So cute. Came to celebrate an engagement. They were able to accommodate a large group of 20 people so that was great. I will say it was difficult for our waitress to keep up without orders but to be expected with large groups. I had the thai chicken and the chili garlic noodles for my entree - there was a spice on the chicken (i can't tell if I ate a seed or what) that kept leaving a weird after taste in my mouth; it didn't happen with every bite and overall it was still good !

DeAnjole M.

Yelp
Nope! Bartender sat on the bar and took shots in front of guests. Love this type of establishment.

alexandra m.

Yelp
Fun place but don't come for birthdays!! We brought a cake for my friends birthday and not only did they not have any candles or sparklers (which was fine) I asked them to bring the cake out like how restaurants normally do etc so we could sing happy birthday and the hostess simply walked over and handed me the cake still in its box and walked away. Sad that there wasn't better customer service especially since we had chosen this place to celebrate a special occasion. Other than that the service was good and food was alright!

Bill M.

Yelp
Waited for 25 minutes and no one ever came over to take our order. Saturday night and not busy at all. Told the host no one came by when leaving and they said"Oh okay"....

Heema N.

Yelp
This place is beautiful! My husband and I sat at the bar, it was 100+ degrees when we trekked from Plano to Bishop Arts, however totally would go again for the ambiance. The patio seems like the place to be on a cooler day. The food was tasty and so were the drinks. Definitely a little pricey, but again, it was tasty! We got the PokPok wings. They came out hot and crispy, we loved the dipping sauce as well, such a unique combo! The service was great at 5:30, we sat at the bar and were attended to super quick. Overall Price- not an everyday place for me Food- pretty good Ambiance- top notch

Elizabeth A.

Yelp
Location Bishop Arts mall Parking Street Atmosphere Upscale-think Vegas lounge When we went- decorated up for Christmas-candles flickering. Like a vacation hide a way-offers a private karaoke room. Seating Choices of table or couch, bar, tables, inside, outside Service Very friendly and attentive. AZ brought water with menus. Menu Wide selection of drinks and food-appetizers, main. We had the Chilean pinot noir-yum-and the pork meatballs-5 served on skewers with a sauce-not sure what it was but so yum-wanted to lick the plate. Summary Local elegant bar with choices for seating-super service. Outstanding food. Beautiful and delicious.

Nicole G.

Yelp
Great vibe, good music, and even better food! This is a tapas/shareables style restaurant so bring friends and share a bunch of things. Service was good and quick at lunchtime on a Saturday!

Julissa B.

Yelp
Love going here! It reminds me of Tulum for some reason. Been here a few times but last time I came was with some friends and we finally tried the tea and it was delicious. We first started off outside at the bar (and had a few cocktails). As the night progressed we moved to another part of the restaurant, and even though the place was busy, the service was still great!

Anna C.

Yelp
Came to Casablanca for a friends birthday party where we did karaoke! We had an absolute blast. The menu is really limited so I mostly ate beforehand, but did get the chips and dip, which was served with a very rich peanut butter dip. The waitress was easy to get in touch with and kindly brought plates, knives and spoons for the birthday cake! Overall great location for a birthday.

Jacqueline O.

Yelp
Good Vibes Good DJ Beautiful Place Food (as an Asian) Pork Belly Not Good Tater Tots Not Good Edamame Weird but manageable Shishito peppers rock hard they fry it but its tough not like tempura and the batter is thick Okay: chili oil noodles and dumplings. But we're here for the vibes drinks and pictures so it's good for that.

Terrance G.

Yelp
Came here while looking for happy hour spots in bishop arts, while this place doesn't have happy hour it is still worth the visit. The aesthetics in the place are great. You gave tables with chairs but also couch option, great place for a date. It is a big location too with alot if seating. The bartenders are very knowledgeable on the menu and will easily tell you their recommendations, which are great. Definitely worth a visit. The pot sticks were delicious too had a slight spice to them and the presentation was

Yelp
Such a cute place! Came for galentines and the food was amazing! Loved everything we ordered. Drinks were good too!

Chloe C.

Yelp
This restaurant is NOT open right now. I walked up earlier today and the place is undergoing construction. They need to update their business profiles online.

Lina M.

Yelp
Went here for the first time for the Christmas tipsy elf event with my girlfriends. It was packed and a lot of fun. The service was a bit slow because it was so busy. We had a ton of appetizers that were all delicious. It took me 30 minutes to find a parking spot which is, not unusual. I finally paid for parking. Everything was very Instagrammable we took some cute photos and video. Would go back.

Linh Q.

Yelp
I really enjoyed this cute little place! Right in the heart of Bishop arts, remember, it's gonna be side parking, or parking lot. This place is next to Paradiso and mod and Jo jewelry. The inside area is so cute, they have couches and cute chairs, they also have a bar area. We went on a Friday afternoon around 6 o'clock, so it was really easy to park and we didn't need reservations. It wasn't that crowded either. It's also really cold right now so that could play in part. Really great waitress, food came out fast!! my favorite was the hummus with pickled vegetables. Surprisingly, very delicious, I believe it is butternut squash hummus, so it had a different taste, but I'd rather prefer this. They don't have pita bread they just have the vegetables. Just FYI. I also recommend the sesame noodle, it's cold, but so good. My friends enjoyed their noodle dishes as well. The inside area is Instagram worthy! Definitely give this place a try. I would say I spent about $16 on my dish! Not bad!

Caroline N.

Yelp
Food was 2/5 but decor/interior were 5/5 so overall 4/5 stars We ordered the $35 4 course meal, but it was overall lackluster and extremely overpriced. One of those "courses" was a cucumber salad which consisted of 2 cucumber slices with hummus on top... be fr

Yelp
Updating my previous review, I strongly believe that any one or two star review deserves a second chance. It goes a long way when management acknowledged that my experience didn't represent the values of the company. For that reason alone I have added 2 additional stars. I appreciate their willingness to invite me back and correct the situation. I look forward to visiting in some future month after the holidays to see how they have improved their bar and food program now that they have replaced most of their regular staff.

Alondra G.

Yelp
The food and drinks were overpriced and not good. The restaurant is beautiful, but the food menu could be improved. Also, they should add tables and chairs for their guests. It is extremely hard to eat at a small table on a sofa.

LeShea B.

Yelp
Cross posted July 2023 8-10 pm Sunday night Booking: through the website, you can find menu/ booking information and be directed to RESY to book your karaoke room. You have to put a card on file. Parking : there is parking across the street from the area where the restaurants are located. It's paid parking. No valet available. I believe my friend stated she had to get the max parking time (less than $7). Find the code for parking on the sign, and use your park app to pay. I believe it was the park mobile app. Street parking was an option, but it was full. Please allow yourself 10 min for finding parking if you want street parking to make sure you're not late for your reservation. Location: After parking, we went down some steps and crossed the street and up some decorative stairs and through an open bar lounge like area (photo op for sure). Casablanca is on the right. Staff: All were friendly. My room was NOT ready at 8:00, but around 8:05-8:07 it was. They worked quickly to clean it up for my reservation. It worked out because others were late, finding parking. Our Waiter, Darnell, was a vibe at the end (while still working) caught a small vibe with us when we were acapella on the mic. You have a server for your room. I believe he may have worked the bar area(where we initially met him) and the rooms, so be patient and know your order upfront while the server is available. Confusion with my reservation: There was some confusion with the hosts per manager Paloma. She wanted to push the time back to 8:30, but let me keep 8:00 after I asked for extra time accommodations. Call and check and double check your reservations. Splitting the tab: I didn't ask about this, but another review says they could split it a few ways (possibly 3? 4?) but everyone cannot have an individual tab. Please ask beforehand. I just had everyone Cashapp me for their drink AND PART OF GRATUITY to cover the bill. Rooms: you can get the small (up to 8) or large (up to 15) room. Personally, 15 people in that large room would be too much. Unless people sat on the floor, or you had two singing at a time. My party of 8 was very comfortable in the large room, and I could do maybe 12.... But maxing out that room -- especially since it was HOT in there, I wouldn't advise. Note larger rooms cost more by the hour. And more on busy weekend days. Equipment / set up : The server walks you through what to do before you start. But there's a QR code on the screen that leads you to the karaoke options. https://www.karafun.com/ is the website, but you have to be in close proximity of course to make actionable steps. You can look through the songs available. Once in the room, you sign up with your name, and that's presented on the screen when it's your turn to sing. While others sing, you can put your song choice in queue and it'll automatically play when the other song goes off. There is a tablet on the side of the tV where you can view upcoming songs. There are two microphones. One can stretch out to the couch. The other, not so much. Two tables are in the big room to sit your drinks. Couch wraps all around the room. Bar cart on the side by the door. Disco lights are on. At the end when your time is up, it'll let you know on the tablet and you won't be able to play songs. But the microphone is still on. We sung a couple songs acapella to make up for the time at the beginning when the room wasn't ready lol. Costssssss Drinks: we didn't order food. There are cokes available for $4 if you need to chase your liquor. Also a self serve water pitcher, glasses, and straws. The Lemon drop was good. I had a couple of them $12 each if including the "cocktail charge" on the receipt. Specialty shots were $10 each. It was a lemon drop shot. My friend had 3. Drinks were good and kept the vibe flowing. We didn't order food because it didn't sound appetizing, and it would be brought out on a platter, party style. Auto gratuity: it's 20%. (Tax was around $16 for our bill) I initially booked one hour. That was NOT enough time. I recommend 2 at minimum (time for people to show up. Time to flip through songs and select them, etc). We didn't get started singing good until 8:20ish. Towards the end I extended the room another hour through my server. I remembered what an employee said about "flexibility" on Sundays. Since there was no party after me, I got my extra hour. $120 was for two hours for the room only. And I would do it again. Wednesdays and Sundays the rooms are cheaper than Fridays and Saturdays. Check website for current pricing. I had SO MUCH FUN. $256.49 for everything. I plan to return because it was one of my favorite experiences in the DFW area.

Yelp
Casablanca is the perfect spot for a date night or a girls night out. The restaurant is absolutely stunning, it feels like you travelled to a Malibu ocean view restaurant. We only got drinks for our first time here, but the presentation and taste of all the ones we tried were perfect! (not all drinks we had are in the videos shown) Our server was super nice and personable. Next time I will be trying the food, other peoples plates looked very delicious. Portions looked a little small, but its okay because Casablanca is the kind of place you go to for a GREAT drink. I look forward to visiting again!

Odette H.

Yelp
The ambiance of this place is just amazing, loved the inside seating and design. The service was great and I enjoyed the food so much.

Kira M.

Yelp
Had my birthday here and was told I had to move when I booked reservations ahead of time. Terrible service. Waitress was snooty and didnt care at all. The DJ who was a sister was fire though. Other than that I would not reccommend. Food was nasty as well. Ambiance was nothing to write home about. Its a no for me..

This place was SO cool! We absolutely loved our dinner out here and we were lucky enough to get to sit on the patio which was just a gorgeous back drop to all the incredible food. The drinks were also next level and the manager could not have been kinder. It was so great to get to chat with her to hear her story about how she came from New York to Dallas and the great stories she had. I will definitely be back, and I think it would be such a blast for a girls night out.

Yelp
I came here late at night with my boyfriend and we loved the interior design and the Afro beats music. I'm not sure if it's always like this or just on that night but it was a party! The music was great and the vibes were great. You can tell it's the same designer as paradiso because the whole thing is just beautiful

Yelp
Kept seeing videos of this place and I just had to give it a try. Like I often say so many people advertise for places like these on Instagram and TIKTOK that it's hard to trust but this place really is just that beautiful! I came with friends and we were expecting a table to sit comfortably but note that there are no tables of that sort here. Instead there are couches with small and low tables. Had I known that I wouldn't have come here to eat and just have come for drinks. I guess it depends on the day but it was soooo loud. They had music playing and besides that the people talked super loudly and it was so hard to hear my friends. The chicken bites I got were pretty tasty however the noodles were just pure soy sauce. Sooo don't order that! The drinks on the other hand were so delicious. I would've loved to get three more of what I ordered easily. I still would recommend people to come purely based on the fact that the decor of the restaurant is so beautiful. I've never been to tulum but looking up videos this place has those same vibes for sure. Come if you want to take cute photos and have tasty drinks!

Yelp
Totally completely obsessed with this restaurant. The apps seemed quick and the dumpling we got were delicious!! The drinks were creative and yummy. The service was probably one of the best I've ever had with Kai as our MVP. And don't even get my started on the decor!! the restaurant absolutely transports you into Moroccan paradise.

Yelp
The only reason I'm giving two stars (and not lower) is because my waitress was very kind, and the space set up is pretty fun and effortful. You can tell there was planning for the layout and seating, and I appreciate live plants. As far as the food, I'm disappointed. I had heard about this place for some time now, and I have been wanting to check it out. I finally had the opportunity, and I didn't stay for more than ~30 minutes because there wasn't much for me to eat. I have fish allergies, and their entire menu is made with fish sauce. Sure. I have eaten at many East Asian influenced cuisine restaurants, and this happens. However, I am so grateful when the kitchen staff is able to accommodate. That was not the case tonight. I had the shishito peppers; they were good- good crunch on the breading without overpowering the pepper. My waitress kindly brought me a chili sauce to dip in because the menu item sauce had... fish sauce. So I appreciated her substitution because they definitely needed a sauce with them. It's just disheartening that I couldn't enjoy any other menu items because accommodations couldn't be made. Sure. Kitchen is tough, packed, and busy. I know I have allergies that make it hard for dining out. I have had many kitchens able to make something, or warn me about cross contamination, so I continue to try to dine out and celebrate well crafted food. I check menus before going to restaurants to make sure I can find something to eat, so please adjust your menu for people with fish allergies so we don't get our hopes up.

Yelp
The interior designer of this place went OFF! They do a very good job of creating a mini oasis out of a bar with an occasional DJ & even KARAOKE in the back! I've also heard the food / apps are great! Their specialty drinks are solid; however, I definitely missed out on the secret menu memo.. my buddy got a special watermelon drink and it took the spotlight. Vibes : 8.75/10 Service : 8/10 Cost: Priceless... jk this ain't a Mastercard commercial. $$$

Yelp
Enjoyed everything! Great ambiance, service and food! The menu is really creative and well done! Everything was delicious! Had the cucumber green apple salad, Korean popcorn chicken, and Dan Dan noodles. Generous portions; More than enough for 2 people.

Yelp
This review is only for Savannah the waitress. The. Greatest. Of. All. Time. We just told her our flavor profiles and liquor and she brought back beautiful, tasty drinks. Ask for her, it's worth it.

Yelp
The atmosphere at Casablanca is truly stellar. I felt like I was in Morocco although I've never actually been there. The whole freaking place is Instagrammable. We got there right when they open at 2pm on Saturday and they already had a decent crowd on the outdoor patio and at the bar. There was a good live DJ that started playing at 3 pm. We ate tacos at the stand down the street so didn't order any food, but the creative cocktails were pretty decent. The "Long Road Ahead" cocktail with mezcal was the favorite of our group. The boozy frozen drinks packed a nice kick but I don't think I'd want to have more than one of them. The beer selection is terrible (Miller and Lone Star) which is to be expected at a cocktail and wine place. They have a private Karaoke room in the back too which I imagine is pricey.

Yelp
Zero stars!!! Do not recommend! It's crazy how this bar's name is Casablanca and they limit the amount of Mexicans (per the door lady last night) as she yelled out "No more Mexicans" while we in line. We didn't get her name but she was so rude and racist. My cousin made a reservation in advance for 10:30p for 15 people and because of this lady. It's crazy because the the other employee was Hispanic...I wander how they feel about the comments she made. This establishment employees who are discriminatory and racist. She didn't let us in at all so we left and went to West Jax Cigar Lounge instead and were treated much better.
