Everything about this neighborhood spot is enchanting (feels like you’re transported to Miami or the Caribbean) and makes you want to stay and come back. The drink menu is thoughtfully detailed and curated, cocktail Sirius is my fav. The staff is fun and professional….if you catch it on a weekend night you may enjoy a shot poured directly in your mouth directly from the bar haha. Some of the best DJs on a fri and sat! Weekdays are chill happy hour or date night and I love the vegan patties! Local or destination, highly recommend you check it out and enjoy yourself!

Casanara is like my second home. This is coming from someone that doesn’t go out much. The patrons are amazing you can strike up a conversation with anyone even if you are shy. Sasha is an amazing bartender. She makes impeccable drinks. Always a great vibe. An amazing neighborhood bar.

The owner, Tom makes the best cocktails I’ve ever had in NYC and Noah the bartender is on par. Service and vibes are 10/10 and anyone who says otherwise is a liar

I visited this bar at the recommendation of my local friends, who have enjoyed it regularly over the past year. The ambiance was excellent and the music was great. Unfortunately, my overall experience was disappointing. The bartender, Sasha, appeared to treat customers inconsistently. Although we were next in line, she proceeded to serve two other guests before acknowledging us, which made us feel overlooked. When she eventually approached us, we asked whether the bar served green tea shots. Her response was simply, “No, it’s whatever is on the menu,” after which she walked away despite the fact that we were ready to order. She did not return and instead began conversing with her colleagues and serving other guests. I believe that customer-facing roles require a certain level of attentiveness and professionalism. If someone is unhappy in such a position, it may be worth considering a role that is better aligned with their preferences. But again don't judge the whole place based on the behavior of a single individual. We ultimately left Casanara Bar and went to Bar Francis which is a block away, where the staff treated us with genuine courtesy. I would highly recommend them based on our experience.

This bar is very vibey w/ a lovely interior and lots of space. It suffers from what I call the 10% problem: the music is 10% louder than it needs to be, which means it’s very difficult to talk, leading nearly everyone shout during conversations, and before you know it you can’t hear a thing. There’s a DJ setup, though I’ve never seen a dance floor really jumping. I sort of wish they’d commit to being a swanky bar where you could hang out and hear the people around you. Perfectly average-prices cocktails which is appreciated. Beer on tap. I’ve mostly gone here for birthdays, there’s a back area I believe you can book and availability to seat large parties.

Hi! Just wanted to drop by and comment on how much fun I had here last Friday night! This was my first time and I must say it was a refreshing experience. The bartenders were attentive and very nice which in my experience rarely happens. Had myself a couple of Atlantic sours and they were delicious! My one and only complain was that there was a particular man who carelessly, in my opinion, was rude to one of the bartenders. I noticed them when he seemed to be upset over a drink option. He seemed pretty aggressive and the bartender genuinely confused at what had just happened. I was nosily listening in and he was completely insane. As the group got up to leave he slammed the menu! I felt bad for the bartender. Women shouldn’t have to deal with men in tantrums over a drink. It was pretty outrageous. Men like this should be held accountable because the world is already dangerous enough for women.

Wonderful spot with a great neighborhoodly vibe and vibrant decor. The drink selection crosses the spectrum and the frozen drinks are particularly spot on. The jerk BBQ jackfruit empanada from out of the heating thing always does the trick when I want a little nibble. And lovely staff. Sasha is delightful and great to strike up conversation with. A must if your in the neighborhood. And oftentimes a great band kicking up some music and energy!

Casa is the spot, no question about it! The good vibes, friendly crowds and always good people. And the bartenders Straight-up legendary. Special shoutout to my girl Sasha, who keeps the drinks flowing, the energy high, and the whole place feeling like home. Casa is the kind of bar you walk into once and immediately decide it’s your new go-to. Absolute fire!

A welcome addition to the neighborhood. Love the overall energy of the space, the drinks are delicious(give the sea plane and golden dawn a go!) Came last night after work to meet with a few friends and it was paaaaaacked! Nonetheless the bartenders were friendly, fast and attentive(not to mention pretty hot). The vibes were welcoming and the staff really went the extra mile to ensure my friends and I were well taken care of. Don't let lonely pricks who get mad that people have friends deter you from this gem lol (here's looking at you Bat B.) Dog friendly spot which scores hella points. No food on the premises but they got a deal with bklyn burrito across the street where you can order food and they'll bring it right over. Genius.

This is a cool bar with some unique cocktails! It was lively in here and we got 3 cocktails in our group to try. We sat at a table and had to order at the bar, as it appeared there were no servers. I don't remember which drink I got, but the drinks my wife and I got were just okay.

Great new neighborhood bar! They offer a nice happy hour deal until 6pm each weekday with $6 well drinks - honestly unheard of in NYC. The bartenders are also friendly and the place is spacious enough for you to move around. When I was there, a few people had their dogs which can either be a good or bad thing lol. I heard they have a DJ late at night - will need to come back and check it out.

Cool space with great energy! The happy hour specials are actually reasonable. Fun new addition to the neighborhood.

Drinks are decent. Noisy and the service is terrible. Waited 10 minutes to order a drink while the bartenders chatted, first amongst themselves and then with their friends at the bar. The music wasn't particularly loud and crowd wasn't big but it still managed to be noisy.
