"The tapas at Cascal are top-notch any day of the week, but we love going on the weekends when the live latin music turns dinner at this colorful, eclectically decorated Spanish spot into a full-on party. Start with drinks (the “guavarita” with fresh guava puree, tequila, lime, and agave is refreshing and fruity), then go for the mojo-marinated Cuban pork. If you're dining with a group, don’t skip the paella Cascal, topped with a mountain of chicken, pork, sausage, and shellfish. Excellent Upscale Latin American Tapas Restaurant with an emphasis on extremely well prepared and delicious small plates with a Latin theme. Excellent margaritas, sangria, and wines. Absolutely recommended if you’re looking for high quality food with a slightly higher price point. The ambience is wonderful, with salsa music playing in the background and plenty of outdoor and indoor seating. The restaurant is well kept, plenty of space, and the inside has wonderful decorations. The service here is excellent and fast. Especially if you come here on off hours. We barely waited at all to be served! The food came out minutes after we ordered it. One of best restaurants in Mountain View and possibly the entire South Bay Area.

Went here with my family for my birthday! The food was delicious and quickly eaten by the 5 of us. The spices and seasoning as wonderful in all the dishes we had. One thing I would say is that the larger sized paella was surprisingly still small and rather difficult to share with 5 adults. We still left happy and would come for more!

Overall a great experience and well worth. Amazing food and unique dishes, surprisingly quick service, and a nice atmosphere. Would recommend for anyone wanting to try out a unique take on tapas. Paella was top notch as well!

First time to dine at Cascade even though I have passed it many times. South American cuisine? The dishes are delicious and well presented, especially the seafood. I forgot to take the pictures of the Poke, Mussels and shrimps 😂😂🫠🫠 I actually went there for dinner on the same day for lunch 🤭😛 and of course, took the photos for the night scene. It was extremely popular with almost all locals and some after hour business social folks. Highly recommended 👍👍

We had a wonderful experience with friends. Tried the Seafood Paella and ceviche sampler and it did not disappoint. Red sangria and Mojito to drink and chocolate souffle with coffee ice cream for dessert. Everything was fantastic. The atmosphere was great with live guitar and excellent service. Definitely worth it.

Tried all new items that I have never had here before and was not disappointed! The seasonal sangria was wonderfully fruity and fresh. The Potato Gratin was creamy and the cheese on top was deliciously gooey and crisp. The Muscles in Saffron Cream Sauce had the perfect bite of rich cream, with the fresh muscle and just the right amount of acid from the tomato and onions. Every bite was delicious! As always the service was friendly and professional, and the outdoor patio was the perfect setting for our evening out.

Great food and amazing service. We (2) ordered the Oaxacan salad, jamón croquettes and Cascal paella. Food came quickly and with nice presentation, good size and delicious flavors. The red sangria was also very fresh and tasty. But what I liked more than the food was the amazing service from the waiters and host. Everyone was super nice and making sure we had a great night. Would definitely recommend and can’t wait to go back.

Absolutely love the energetic vibes of this place! The live band performs romantic Mexican songs. The ambience of indoor seating is 5/5. They serve complementary bread. My favorite here is Eggplant Tian, Vegetable Payela and Warm Chocolate Cake. The waitresses are very kind too. Best overall service. Good for team lunch, date or get togethers.
