Prices are pretty high, but the quality wasn't terrible. There were problems will our order, so be sure to check your food before walking away. The staff did their best to fix it; they were out of certain toppings and originally chose to leave them out without telling us. Be sure to ask for extra sauces. The food was much better with the spicy mayo and ranch dressing.

Came here for a quick dinner since our gate was nearby. This new food court area in terminal 1 is gorgeous though. So we ordered a protein Chainbreaker with sweet potato fries and boyfriend got the Classic Burger with fries, total was over $30. LOL. Probably the lamest protein burger for $9.00 I've ever ordered. Tiny patty, caramelized onions, ICEBERG lettuce, a slice of red onion, two pickles and a slice of tomato. Could've at least used butter lettuce or something. The patty was also overly salty while the boyfriend's patty was overcooked and supremely dry. The sweet potato fries were thin waffle cut (compared to a thick waffle cut like Chick-Fil-A). They were personally too crispy for my preference. I liked their fries over the sweet potato fries I ordered. Ehhh. I think I'd opt for something else next time.

I should have checked the reviews first. DONT come here if u r rushed for time. 20 min. $26 meal. Some assembly required. $2.35 bacon - 2 mini squares as shown in photo. If only Chick Fil A was open on Sundays.

Google
TL;DR: save your money. Overpriced and not delicious. This location makes burgers worse than McDonald's. I've heard a lot about Cassell's Hamburgers but never had a chance to try it while I was in LA and I was suspicious that the airport location would be a good representation of their establishment. I should have stuck with my gut and not have tried it. I ordered the Burger with American cheese and regular fries. The fries weren't hot and tasted rather soggy and stale. The meat on the burger was dry and had no sauce. I'm fine with no sauce burgers but they better damn be juicy.

Google
Horrible. Paid $5 for the amount of french fires that barely fit in the palm of my hand. This is theft in broad daylight. Bottle of water was $6. I know it's airport and everything but dang! Never again :/

Google
Worst $14 cheese burger ever. Couple that with limp, cold $4.50 fries. Ordered burger medium and received an overcooked, dry, unseasoned puck of meat. They tout special home made sauces, to which they do not actually have. However, they do have single serve packs of Mayo, Katsup & Mustard. Addition of these were not able to moisten my burger enough to enable me to swallow wothout copious amounts of water.

Daniel Martinez

Google
Probably the most expensive and blandest cheeseburger and sweet potato fries I've ever had. No bit of salt on the fries and burned. Burger was also super dry and missing whatever sauce it was supposed to have. The only highlight was that I was hungry and could order with a machine. Whataburger would have been a better choice in this terminal.

Cassell's was the next stop on the Bloody Mary Tour. Cassell's also has one of the great Gin Bloody Mary's at LAX. If you have time give it a try.

Yelp
I'm a pretty big fan of Cassell's Hamburgers because of their DTLA location, so of course I was happy to find out that they established a location in LAX's Terminal 1. Which makes this review all that much more difficult to write because standards here are clearly nowhere near the established locations. Have come here twice. First time I had The Classic protein style, which was alright but certainly not memorable. Second time I had the Breakfast Scramble without toast, which literally was...some eggs and a hash brown. Really for how much I am paying here, I really expect better. Not a lot of food and fairly underwhelming. Bottom line, this Cassell's location is a pale imitation of the real deal in L.A. The limited menu really hurts here. If I came back here, it's probably only because I didn't want Chick-fil-A.

Yelp
I'm sure I've mentioned time and time again on a few reviews that my stomach has no idea what time it is. I just happen to find myself in here T1LAX unusually early in morning to catch a flight. With plenty of time to kill (and hunger pangs beginning to stir) my stomach decided to have a hamburger during breakfast hours. So, I got up on the kiosk - which was easy to use - and got me a burger topped with fried egg. (Because you know... it IS in the morning and all.) Receipt got printed and... BLANK. (But the screen did say I was order #24.) I made sure to point this out to a staff member. There weren't a lot of customers ahead of me, so my order came through in no time. I was getting some napkins and ketchup after I was given my to-go box of yummies when I overheard front staff tell the kitchen staff my order is going to be the last burger until 10am or after. At the same time, there was a customer who was ordering a burger at the kiosk but was told by the same front staff they can't serve anything other than breakfast items before 10am. Wow. I got lucky! And at the same time felt bad for the customer who couldn't get a burger for breakfast! I wonder if its stomach went on a rampage after that! (I know mine would have!) But my burger, I gotta say, was exactly what my taste buds and stomach was craving! Cooked to order, seasoned well, juicy and just all around delicious! It absolutely hit the spot! FOOD: 5. Exactly what I wanted! SERVICE: 3. Mediocre at best. And they should have handled the whole "breakfast only before 10am" situation better. I'm sure that other customer was bummed (at the least) for not getting his first choice. VALUE: 4. Fair for airport prices. PARKING: N/A. OVERALL: 4. I hope to be starving during my next T1LAX run. A repeat is an absolute must. I am keeping their DTLA * K-Town location in mind as well because now I really want that experience. Can't wait!

Yelp
Waiting on a flight home out of LAX in Terminal 1 and there are plenty of choices...California Pizza, Tscos, Chinese, Einstein Bagel but Cassells is supposed to be local and good. Casual fast food is what it is all about. Really on 6 items/sandwiches on the menu and 2 salads (chicken caesar and a house). 4 breakfast options for those early birds. I haven't had a party melt forever and the guy sitting next to me looked pretty happy so I went for it. I skipped the O rings and Fries as they are of the massive size variety (I'm an onion straw aficionado) so just did the melt. I must say it was tasty. The burger medium well was as expected ( although I prefer medium rare to medium) it was nicely toasted and just the right amount of fried onions. Generally pleased but the airport prices are always more than what I feel we should be paying. I'd do this again.

Yelp
Not known by many but those who do regard it as the best Far better than I&OB. Wow and WOW

Yelp
This is simply a great burger. Love the options For go orders the fresh veg and lettuce are packed separately. We used them to cater a very large gathering near by and they killed it!!! Good place for a work lunch. Love that they have a full bar.

Aimes O.

Yelp
Nope. Don't do it. I walked up looking to just order something light. I ordered the Kid's Meal chicken strip in which she explained that they no longer had strips for the day. From there, I ordered the burger (no cheese) with sweet potato fries. Y'all. The fries came out SUPER BURNT with a side of extra oil dripping from them. My burger, that I ordered with no cheese, came WITH cheese on it. Wondering why there's no picture (besides the ones seen) accompanied with this review? Well it's because I TOOK IT BACK!! There should be no reason as to why it came out that way especially since it wasn't busy. Throw the whole joint away. Oh... and their milkshake machine wasn't working either. #McDonaldsNextToKin

Yelp
Hailing from Koreatown, a new addition to the newly remodeled Terminal 1 at LAX is welcomed (around gate 11). Why? I was transported to Cassell's before my flight. Designed like a 50's-style counter, you grab a high-top chair and sit. So nice, I forgot where I was for an hour. Service was extremely nice: personable, attentive, and all with smiles from the staff. The menu: all the usual suspects plus patty melt, breakfast burger (before 11am), grilled ham & cheese, egg salad, and fried chicken sandwich. My order: ======== I ordered a Classic burger with Cheddar cheese (they have 4-6 types to choose from). The burger came with the usual fixings (tomato, lettuce, pickles, red onion), and had a nice brioche bun (different than their Ktown Portuguese-style bun). Good mid-level burger. All in all, it fixed the craving. Under-seasoned, and was a bit similar to Johnny Rocket's and/or Shack Shake [$11.95, 4.0 stars]. Along, with Fries [$3.50] and a bottomless fountain diet coke [$2.89] -- I was stylin'. Yep, I'll be back: ============= 4.0 stars: they're new (less than 2 months), and wonderfully nice service.

Yelp
I wanted to try this place because I was drawn in by the sign saying that their burgers were popular;I guess it was marketing its best. I ordered the Bacon burger I asked for the potty to be medium rare and the bacon extra crispy but they only got one of those right and it was a bacon they overcooked the burger to a well done, very dry consistency. The burger was so dry that it was hard to chew, and I would have sent it back had it not been for my flight that was about to leave. For $15 it definitely wasn't worth it, they say they grind their own beef, and it was okay, but honestly Wendy's would be a lot cheaper and a lot better skip this place and go to Trejo's tacos instead.

Yelp
Located inside Terminal 1 (Southwest) Cassell's Hamburgers is a long standing burger joint when they opened on 6th street in Los Angeles. They have Alcohol! With that being said, as I'm doing a happy dance and enjoying a burger, its in the newly established section of LAX of this terminal. Has a diner type feel with stools and milk shakes made in the old fashioned metal vase.

Yelp
It can be hard to find an upside when your flight has been cancelled, but at least I got to try Cassell's while I waited to fly out of LAX. Located in the newly renovated Terminal 1, this restaurant offers burgers and other sandwiches for your eating enjoyment. I ate here during their first week of opening, so the staff members were still working out kinks in their ordering system. They offer counter seating for people who want to dine in, but you could also stand on line for to-go orders. I got the classic burger and added American cheese (they also offer cheddar). The burger came with the usual fixings (including tomato, lettuce, red onion, pickles, and their version of a "special sauce") on the side, but you can also add upgrades at an additional cost. The menu listed fried egg, mushrooms, bacon, sausage, or grilled onions as additional add-ons, and they offer a variety of sauces to try. Per their menu, they grind their beef daily in house, and the burger was a meaty and juicy delight. The default meat temperature is medium well, but I thought that the beef was not overly tough or dry. The bun was a bit on the dry side, but overall I liked what I ate. I also appreciated how friendly the employees were despite the long lines and technical glitches. I would definitely try them again, and I'm eager to visit their outpost in Koreatown!

Yelp
3.5 stars Had a classic burger ($11.95) + a side order of fries ($3.95). Classic burger: large patty, extra sauce, onions, lettuce, and tomatoes. Good, but not so good because the burger patty was super overcooked and was borderline dry, but whatevs - it's airport food. What did help were the super fresh veggies - nice snap to the red onion. Fries were generously portioned as well. What I do like is that you have the option of choosing Cassell's at the airport instead of having to drive all the way to K-town - that is a major plus. If you've had Cassell's on your eating list, this is the perfect opportunity to try it. It might be lacking a little, but it is pretty close to the real thing.

Yelp
Crazy prices. $18 for a well Bloody Mary that comes from a (dirt poor) mix. (I checked and they said a nonalcoholic version is under $4.) Their food is incredibly poor quality - worse than fast food. The burgers are bad, guys. You have "burger" in your name.... For God's sake, get it together. The salads are 80% wilted or even rotten (the onions were fresh, though); and there are only two dressings: ranch and thousand island. This place is a mess.

Maira R.

Yelp
Cassell's was pretty darn good, I can't lie. I ordered their grilled cheese sandwich with a side of onion rings- I know... I went all out. And I have no regrets, thank you very much! It's definitely on the pricier side, I doubt it was just because I ordered from the airport location. The only other complaint that I have is that it was really greasy, I needed a stack of napkins just to dry my lips after every bite. Was it worth it? Totally! It's comfort food material all the way. I haven't tried their hamburgers but I've bookmarked this place on yelp and in my brain as my designated grilled cheese sandwich spot! Thinking about it now is making my stomach go weak. I WANT ONE!! It was sooooo cheesy, so delicious, nice and crispy as it should be! MMMMMMMMM Can you imagine it? The cheddar, sharp as an only child-Ivy League prospect! Can you taste it? Go try it for yourself. Not flying out? Find Cassell's menu items at their Downtown or KTown locations. Don't wait.

Brian W.

Yelp
The burger is quite solid, on the meaty side, although the bun is a little too soft/thick? Even considering airport price premiums, tho, it stings, and that limits the upside, no matter how tasty the burger. A merely solid burger for what they're charging? I'd say that's 3*.

Catie M.

Yelp
They are not able to customize your order and it is only done through the touch screen monitor. The service was not good and the workers acted as though I was a hassle. I ended up getting a milkshake that was hardly mixed and was like eating ice cream with milk sloshing on the outside. It seemed so rushed. I ended up going back to chick fil a to get fries because I was so upset how I was treated. Used a candy bar to eat with my milk and ice cream.

Stephanie N.

Yelp
I came here because I had an hour to spare before my flight. I ordered a cheeseburger and my boyfriend ordered a chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries. I am the type of person that just does not like pickles and I don't like it touching my food. I let my server know and she said it's on the side anyway, I asked her if I can have it without it. She said yes but guess what? It came with it. That's just one small detail. After we ordered we realized that she did not ask us what kind of cheese we wanted, how we wanted the hamburger cooked, if we needed any condiments. I noticed this because she asked every person after us those questions. I say please and thank you I smile and I'm just wondering why I am treated any less? Is it because I'm wearing leggings? When she gives us the food she drops it in front of us and leaves. ask for a refill for my drink and she gave me my check instead. After I paid through the system, she made me wait about 5 minutes for my refill. not sure why customer service was below-par, let alone just awful. Food was all right but I guess the ambience really dropped the rating. The chicken was extremely tough and the sweet potatoes were overdone. The burger was cooked well done and was very dry. I would not recommend coming here if you are at the airport. There are other options. I warned you!

Yelp
After reading about the famous Cassell's Hamburger spot in Downtown LA all these years, I was really excited to finally see it open in the Southwest Terminal of LAX. We had a really early flight and was really happy to see that they were open at 7am! My girlfriend and I split the Breakfast Burger which has egg, cheese and avocados, the perfect breakfast burger! This location is a full bar, so we saw people ordering drinks, which was weird, but no judging. The burger itself sounded a lot better than it tasted. The patty was dry, not much flavor to it. Kind of upset, but I can't do a full judgment of Cassell's based off their airport location. Overall, I love the addition to the Southwest Terminal, it's a great spot to check out!

Yelp
I've been flying in and out of LAX for the past 10 years and have always been so disappointed in the food options. As a result, I was so excited to see that LA's famous Cassell's Hamburgers made its arrival in LAX. Cassell's is delicious, but unfortunately, this airport locations is nowhere near the taste of the actual restaurant. The burger was very overcooked and so dry. The french fries tasted like overly salted fries that you could get in the freezer section of the supermarket. I know that this is an airport location so it's not fair to compare it to the actual restaurant. I'm glad that LAX finally has some food options that are local to LA. I am hoping that this was just an off day. I will definitely try it again the next time I am at LAX because I love Cassell's that much!

Danielle S.

Yelp
Angel the manager is top notch. He knows customer service. They don't make 'em like that anymore. Completely and totally accommodated every need even before asking. He'll be CEO of his own business some day. Got a keto friendly breakfast with very minimal workaround on the menu and without having to throw out food from a larger breakfast platter. Made my day by starting out with a proper breakfast.

Les W.

Yelp
Love Cassell's other locations in KTown and Downtown LA - Definitely some of the best burgers in all of LA. - certainly a five star experience every time. I was really happy to see the red and white Cassell's sign as I came up the escalators from security - something about a pat down search that makes me hungry! While not quite the same as the other non-transport hub Cassell's locations- I'll give five stars here because this place definitely rocks it for airport food and the service was friendly and fast - I think they know you have a flight to catch. Here at the LAX Terminal 1, I had a cheese burger, fries and a soda - you know - the basic burger meal. Burgers come with good stack of fresh fixings - lettuce, tomato and sliced red onion - cheese is extra with a choice of cheddar or Swiss. While not quite as amazing as the other Cassell's locations (burger meat at the others is cooked to order nice and medium rare - here I think for expediency, the burgers are held on the grill till ordered and thus getting a juicy medium rare burger is more challenging) this was certainly a cut above most airport "cuisine". The service was super fast and guy at counter kept my soda full and sent me on my way with a to-go soda that I sipped on all the way to my destination. The fries were really fresh and tasty too. I'll definitely be sure to get here early next time I have a Southwest flight so I can have a tasty start to my trip.

Suleman A.

Yelp
I recently stopped by Cassell's while I was waiting to catch a flight from LAX because I thought their burgers looked quite appetizing. Boy was I right but I decided to give them 3 stars instead of 5 because they ran out of fries by about 6:00 pm. Who can eat a burger without fries????? They did have other options like coleslaw and sweet potato fries but none of those can compare to your standard fries. Another downside besides not having any regular fries was that the burger itself cost more than $10. The total price for just the burger was about $14.25, while is a ridiculous amount to pay for something that is good but not great. The staff was nice and the seating plan was open with seats in front of the bar, seats in front on the restaurant or on the sides. Overall, the burger did taste good however, it's probably not a place that I'll come running back to if I'm fly into LAX again.

Wayne N.

Yelp
Apparently this place is part of a well known chain in LA, but the airport location is definitely a bit disappointing. While I can understand you're a bit limited serving in LAX, at the same time, just on sheer taste to price ratio, there's definitely better options. I opted for a chainbreaker with cheddar cheese and some onion rings. The burger when it comes out look amazing - and they put the veg on the side for you to stuff in yourself. But the burger was overall very bland and nothing special, the onions oddly sweet. If you add some thousand island to it, definitely gives it more pop in flavor. One redeeming factor is the onion rings - they're well fried and large and don't suffer from the teeth pulling effect when you bite into it. But given the price, the wait time and the other options around, I'd say pass.

Elizabeth A.

Yelp
Atmosphere Burger bar airport.Immediate friendly service. Food Huge burgers. Large portions of fries. Summary Great food, friendly service. Easy to sit at bar or table or take out. Wait time for food-10 min.

Julie S.

Yelp
I loved this. My burger was delicious, my fries were fantastic, and the Moscow Mule was great. I'm not sure what is happening in these other reviews. Maybe they're in love with another location? Well, that location isn't at the airport, beyond security, etc. Let's dig in. Others say it is too expensive. Isn't all airport food expensive? If it is too expensive, definitely don't order a drink! Just drink water - it is good for you when you are flying anyway. We were splurging (calorie-wise and food wise), so I tried to not compare it to what I could get had I not been at an airport. Limited menu as a downside? I like a limited menu. It means there's a better chance they will get everything perfectly right. Like I said, I loved my meal, so I think the limited menu works in their favor. You wouldn't say that about the offerings at a trendy food hall, and yet, these spaces are roughly the same square footage as a food hall space. Our service was excellent: our order was delivered accurately, the server was friendly, and most importantly, we were able to get in and out in the amount of time we had before our flight.

Maggie L.

Yelp
Service is TERRIBLE. The bartender is so focused on greeting new customers that he actually doesn't pay attention to the seated patrons. I see my burger right there... been eyeing it for the last 12 minutes and it's still not in front of me. **edit 16 minutes before the cashier turned around to collect food for the FOURTH time and felt bad and brought me my burger. Also, I told him I was closing out and he took my last 2oz of beer. RUDE AF.

Gary O.

Yelp
Hit this place on the way through LAX @ 7:30 Sunday eve. We had the typical airport food sticker shock but decided we need something substantial to eat before the next leg of our flight. The wife ordered the "grownup grilled cheese",no choice of bread, apparently all they had was rye. Not her favorite but it sounded good with the three different kinds of cheese. I opted for the Classic Burger. The snarley girl @ the counter didn't offer any choices so I figured we would get what we got. For only $22.67 (no drinks) we got an "over" grilled sandwich and a dried out burger. There were plenty of dirty tables to sit at also!

Crystal S.

Yelp
I was debating between this place and Chick fil a...decided on the burger. Wrong choice. I ordered a burger, medium with American cheese, and it came out well done. Really well done. Meat was kinda tough and dry. Free drink refills and good onion rings which is why this review is a 3 instead of a 2. Total cost was about $21. Next time I'm in terminal 1, it will be chick fil a, or CPK.!

Ashtar B.

Yelp
Stopped here for a breakfast burger before an early flight out of LAX. I had never been to a Cassell's before but figured wouldn't be bad to try while waiting in the airport. The breakfast burger comes with and egg on it which actually took away from the overall burger. The egg was bland and had an odd texture. The burger patty itself was salty and a bit dry. The hash brown on the burger was crisp and tasty - I almost wished it had just been served separate on the side. Granted I wasn't expecting much in an airport. It was fine overall all things considered.

Jaimie K.

Yelp
The food is overpriced as expected. The burger is okay but the patty was over cooked. Service is mediocre. The balding server is extremely rude and ignores you if you're not seated. I tried to sit down to eat when a seat became open but he told me to leave because I had a box instead of a tray. I wanted to order a few drinks but left because his poor attitude.

Peter K.

Yelp
Disclaimer: this review is for there cheeseburger. Very subpar cheese burger and fries. Bland and flavorless. There quality has gone waaayy down. $15 cheese burger too. DO NOT get their burger. I can literally make a better burger at home. There so many good burgers out there do not get it trust me ! There patty melt on the other hand is their best product and the best patty melt in LA. For a place that specializes in burgers it's pretty sad. You don't season you patties and fries? Why was the bun so dry? Go to burgers neversay die instead. Mcds quarter pounder was better in fact. Get the patty melt!

Tommy T.

Yelp
Looked like it would be good. I really wanted to like it. Waited over 20min for a burger and fries. Burger looked good but was way over cooked and felt like I was eating rubber. No taste. Fries were ok. Way to expensive ($25) for burger, fries and a medium Pepsi for something that I definitely did not enjoy.

Aaron D.

Yelp
Americans eat a ton of cheeseburgers. There are tons of burger restaurants anywhere you go. Cassell's facade when you see it in LAX terminal 1 looks like an iconic American burger diner. I've walked past it tons of times and finally tried it out today. You order with a touchscreen like at Shake Shack. I got the standard burger + Swiss cheese. No edits, nothing crazy, i figures I'd give their classic cheeseburger a try. Service is sloooow. Wasn't crowded when i was there and it was at least 10 minutes from order to food. Food is expensive. For just the classic burger with no extras, my tab was over $15. I'm immediately measuring against $15+ burgers. Cassell's is far outclassed in this regard. Burger was completely forgettable. Bun was better than fast food burgers. That's where compliments end. Patty was totally unseasoned. Vegetables were fresh but not unique (pickles as an example tasted to me exactly like Kosher Dill pickles you would buy at the grocery store. Burger was totally dry. They had ketchup and mustard packets (Heinz, if i recall) so i applied that myself. Basically, what you're paying for is a $15 version of a burger you genuinely can make at home on your own BBQ. There's a reason this place has terrible reviews. They are severely over-charging for the most base version of a burger you will ever have. Even if the burger was priced below $10, these burgers are worse than chains like Shake Shack or local mom/pop shops.

S.E. K.

Yelp
Worst Burger Ever!!! Old meat left in frig too long, very rubbery. Basically paid $20 bucks for fries, piece of lettuce and slice of tomato could not eat the meat. Real embarrassment to have such a lousy eatery at the airport. :(

Nick S.

Yelp
Edit: came back on my way home 2 weeks later. Perfect medium temp!! Woohoo I'm bumping up to 5 stars again It's painful for me to give 3 stars here. Cassels is far and away my favorite burger place in LA, or anywhere! They routinely overcook them at this location and I asked why, I was told the airport requires medium as the minimum. That's totally fine but they need to start making sure then that burgers are in fact cooked to medium. Especially when you request that. 3 times I've been here and 3 times it's been well done regardless if they asked or not. I'll be back in 2 weeks and hope to post a positive update to this review. I will say the staff is awesome and it's still worth coming if traveling through LAX but PLEEEASE CASSELS! Fix this

Charles Y.

Yelp
I soooooo looked forward to eating this burger. Cassell's was featured on YouTube and other shows as being one of the most delicious burgers out there. Unfortunately, the burger and sides were expensive and took really long time to get (over 20 minutes). 2 Star is not for price or the wait. It's 2 stars because the patty was WELL DONE!! It was so dry!!! I could tell by the seasoning that the burger will taste better of it was cooked to medium. Please Cassell's, do yourself a favor and stop cooking your patties well done.

Yelp
Chef Christian Page, AKA the Burger Whisperer, has taken the best burger Los Angles and made it available to all of the weary travelers at LAX!!! Christian's attention to detail, as well as his passion for excellent food preparation, and quality ingredients shine through! If you haven't had the opportunity to visit this brand new burger joint, give it a try. You won't be disappointed. The burger at Cassell's is hands down the best thing you can find before a long flight, but you don't have to take my word for it ;)

Yelp
Cassell's is an old and popular burger place in LA. Nice to see that they are trying to bring some LA eating establishments to the airport (Trejos Tacos is here too). We were excited to try the burgers as we waited for our flight. $46 later we couldn't have been more disappointed in our 2 Classic Burgers w/ cheese, fries, onion rings and a drink. The burger patties were dry, dense and over cooked. No pink to be seen in our requested Medium burger. While the Onion Rings were crispy and tasty the fries were soggy. Totally understand it's an airport location, but I would hope they would have a standard for quality of cook on their burgers. Not a good choice of you want high quality for the high price you pay.

Yelp
Alright I'm at the airport, I've eaten vegetarian for two days because that's all there was (not that there's anything wrong with that) but I saw "BURGERS"...it was like a magnet. So I saunter up to an empty bar seat (that was rather uncomfy) don't care...burger. Order smaller burger with grilled onions and cheese, side of fries and a tall glass of ice water. Then I look at the reviews on Yelp, I'll admit I'm not from around these parts so I don't "know" Cassell's. But the reviews for the airport version aren't too favorable, I guess this place is some LA institution and local peeps have been disappointed. Well, with nothing to compare it too I dive in to my BURGER ... but let's add some condiments. Oh yes the rusty edge iceburg hunk and after "lifting the hood" and thinking where the hell are those grilled onions? I see they're little bitty chopped things imbedding into the cheese...still eat BURGER.... meh it was okay. My fries were actually pretty good. It was just a tad under $15 so I've had better, and let's face it how hard is it to make a decent burger ‍.... oh well. It's airport food for ya.

Yelp
Very good but expensive burgers. No knowledge of this chain but gave it a try based on how many years in business. Food service fries. Very good burgers. Onion rings possibly made there. Toppings were good. Price high for take your food to a food court table. Running out of some items. Served the purpose of satisfying hunger. They need to get better at this airport location. Still. A very good burger.

Yelp
I was looking for Wahlburger because I have yet to try it. I was skeptical at first because I saw a review that gave them 2 1/2 stars. I'm glad I didn't let the review be my deciding factor. Great burger and fries. I added the ranch homemade sauce.

Yelp
Cassell's is just ok. I've definitely had better. Met up with a friend here for lunch while I was visiting and I've always wanted to try their burger because of the hype around it. That's exactly what is was, just hype. It's not a bad burger but definitely not that great either. The meat is kind of bland and nothing special but their fries were pretty tasty. Not sure if I'll be visiting Cassell's again when I'm back in LA as I come quite often every year.

Yelp
Cassell's LAX: Public school food, airport prices. Overpriced, underportioned and greasy tripe passing for breakfast was put in front of me today. Complete waste of dough and digestive effort. I can feel my stomach screaming...

Yelp
The burger came out so fast. I feel like it was less than 2 minutes to get the burger and fries. It was not bad! Staff are nice.. They kind of let you do your own thing. Theres also a full bar here. You can pay with cash or Credit card.

Yelp
This place should be ashamed of itself. $25.28 for a classic cheeseburger, waffle fry, and coke combo? Might be fine if it were the best burger or waffle fry I've ever had - but it is not. Far from it. Highway robbery. Way overpriced - mediocre food. Thought I was in for a real treat with a local hamburger stand, but it fell short - perhaps even below McDonald's. Bland burger. Sweet potato waffle fries were overcooked, almost burnt. Will try my best to remember to avoid next time I'm passing through LAX.

Yelp
Never eating here again. There are no signs when you walk in to be clear where to sit or order, so when the girl at the front said shed take my order I ordered from her. I sat at the counter and she brought my food a few minutes later. I asked the guy at the counter for ketchup and he ignored and me and placed it next to the opposite side of THE ONLY OTHER person at the counter. I asked him a second time and he made me get up and get condiments from the to go station. I asked why he brought the other guy ketchup when hes sitting right next to me and not me, and he said because you didn't order from me. I didn't even finish my food because I felt so awkward and unwelcome.

Yelp
$42.34 for the worst value I've had in the last 10 years. Not only was this overpriced because the store is in LAX (which is expected) but the burger bun was stale, the burger patty tasteless and a poor value. I don't mind LAX pricey, what I don't like is poor quality.

Yelp
The service is terrible. The wait staff is rude and disrespectful. They practically ignored me when addressing them about my order. I was there only customer. The breakfast burger was just ok. Don't eat here! They don't deserve your business.

Yelp
Had me wait 25 minutes for my food.. gave it to the wrong person.. expected me to just wait another 25 minutes .. terrible service from manager Alex and crew
