"Castillo De Feliciana is the best wine operation you might not have known about. It’s never too crowded, so we like it as a first stop to kick things off, or as a low-key last stop if someone in your group had one too many and is starting to look like one of those inflatable flailing tube people at car dealerships. Castillo produces primarily Spanish-style wines, which means you’ll see types like Albariño, Tempranillo, and Garnacha. The backyard has plenty of room for your group on the first-floor patio or the second-floor balcony, where you get a great view of the street." - aimee rizzo

Google
We went for their sangria release and it was okay. $12 for a glass of sangria served with ice was a bit much. I didn't understand why a Spanish winery paired sangria with Mexican food and Mexican music. the cultures are of course quite different... The place looked cool so maybe we'll give it another shot on a non-event day. Glad they're pet friendly!

Amanda

Google
Went to this place as someone said it had the best sangria around. I lived in Spain and this was really good. They have a nice outdoor area too! We couldn’t really enjoy it as it was too hot but we sat there anyway! Bring your own growler if you want to bring some home!

Google
Great spanish winery in the beautiful Walla Walla region. If you planning for wine tasting, I recommend taking reservations in advance specially on weekends. You can still get a spot without reservations and buy a bottle/glass. The setting is beautiful, the music is great, the wines taste awesome.

Google
Thank You Casitillo de Feliciana Vineyard for hosting wine and wags with Blue Mountain Humane Societ Oso, and Jada really eoyed the field trip and alll the attention from your fine guests. Beautiful grounds, exceptional views, I'll be back for the 2018 Malbec. CHEERS!

Google
Gorgeous views and good wine. The sparkling chardonnay is particularly nice on a warm spring day. They are known for their sangria and tapas, but those don't start until mid-May, so don't come expecting lunch before then. But it's still nice to sit on their patio and enjoy the view anyway. Hawks, magpies, swallows, robins, and other birds all frequent the area for bird watching fun. Also, this winery is in Oregon so no sales tax!

Google
Can’t say more wonderful things of this family owned winery. They are amazing genuine people who want to get to know their guests. You will be treated like family from your first step in the door. Go here!!

Google
Castillo was a fun place. Their wines are very good. We were all surprised how good their white (albariño) was, and we all bought a bottle. Same goes for the blend they had (miércoles). Our host was a cool guy who knew his stuff. The tapas we ordered were a nice touch. The grounds are simply amazing. The pictures just don't do it enough justice. Out front they have some games like corn hole and bacci ball. We had a good time that was only cut short because our host suggested a couple more wineries we could hit before our next appointment.

Google
This is our favorite winery to go to in Walla Walla. All the wines are amazing and if you are there are the right time they have the best sangria that you will ever have! It is also a great taste house as they have great views and a great property that is family friendly as well.

Yelp
We made a reservation to come here on a Saturday afternoon. All the staff members were great especially Sonya and have tremendous knowledge about their wines. 2 different view options of walla walla, both are very scenic and amazing. The overall ambiance and vibe is a very relaxed Spanish theme especially with the background music. Two flight options (red and white): $25 each with 4 pours. Our favorite ones were the Garnacha and the Estate Malbec. However all of their wines have wonderful aromas and very interesting tasting notes. Currently, the sangria is not available yet. But it will be starting on 5/15 with live music and food truck. Definitely will come back for that!

Yelp
This was our third winery of the day - we were a bit underwhelmed by the quality of the wines, but may have been tired and hot! The highlight was definitely the Sangria. Wow wow it was perfect - not too sweet but completely refreshing. We came home with a growler and will be buying more on the west side in Woodinville!

Yelp
Overall 4.5. We have visited their Woodinville tasting room many times, but this was our first visit to their Walla Walla area facility. SERVICE: 5.0. Susana was outstanding. She was tuned to our frequency, providing the right amount of education on the wines and the winery. Her demeanor persuaded us to inquire about the flamenco performance and dinner planned for that evening; we bought two tickets. (more on that below). AMBIANCE: 4.5. Warm, inviting interior. Pleasant exterior seating with view of countryside. WINES: 4.0. We like several of their reds in particular. BAND / FLAMENCO PERFORMANCE - DESEO CARMIN with DINNER: 5.0. We returned in the evening for the Paella dinner with music and dancing. We got to watch the chef prepare the meal and ask him questions. He prepared both a seafood and a vegetarian paella (with sauces); both were excellent and we especially enjoyed the seafood version. Dessert was a Mexican pastry home-made by the owners of the winery. The band was very fun, and engaged closely with us viewers. The singer did some flamenco dancing which was a joy to watch. I have to give a 5.0 for the dinner and music because in over 30 years of marriage, this is only the second time I danced, and the first time I enjoyed it; thus my wife was very pleased. It was great fun!

Marna K.

Yelp
I love it here and was so happy to be back! The sangria is just so delicious and the large outdoor space is so perfect for a relaxing visit. I got a growler of sangria to take home to keep the vibe going!

Elena L.

Yelp
Great vibe at this beautiful winery. Susanna was amazing. She was friendly, very knowledgeable and served us with a smile! The wines were excelle mnt and the Sangria too notch! We will be back for sure!

Lauren S.

Yelp
Amazing scenery and delicious wine. Frank really made the experience friendly and easy. Will definitely come back for some spicy sangria days

Alexis G.

Yelp
Visited with 3 adults and 2 kids (ages 13 and 4) and felt very welcomed :) Beautiful small winery and nice seating areas. There was a deal if you bought a bottle (~$30-50), your wine flight is free

Keely H.

Yelp
So many great wines I had trouble choosing. The wine expert who helped us (can't recall her name, she had really blue eyes) was excited and knowledgeable about the wines. Thoroughly enjoyed this tasting!

Vincent M.

Yelp
Came out with high expectations, the grounds and winery are nice but the music was very bad as usual, it is not an isolated incident either. They tout wine in this region and then give us some of the most unsophisticated and untalented musicians there are. I'll keep waiting

Cathy R.

Yelp
Enjoyed this place so much. They allowed our dogs inside (it's Oregon) and the owner/staff was incredibly friendly. They have a Rose Tempranillo, which is an unusual blend but soooooo good.

Estela R.

Yelp
We had made a "flight" reservation for 4:00. When we arrived they had an event and informed us they weren't doing flights and only had wine by the glass or bottle. Had our server been able explain the wines it might have been ok. She could only tell us it was red but not the blends. Not her fault, management's fault. The wines all tasted the same. Disappointed

Jessica L.

Yelp
Great service and ambiance! We got the summer flight and a red Flight and shared them and ended the day with a glass of sangria. Awesome service and friendly environment.

Michelle H.

Yelp
One of my favorite wineries within the region. The service is outstanding and if you're into Spanish red varieties this is the place to be. Prefer the Grenache here, but the Tempranillo is pretty good too. Also.. the sangria is wonderful!

Jeff K.

Yelp
I will preface this review by saying my wife and I are fortunate to live in the midst of Washington wine country. We also travel to other regions to visit wineries. Yesterday was our first visit to Castillo de Feliciana. Out of too many wineries over the years to count, this is my new favorite. The setting is beautiful. Deborah and Sam, the owners, are welcoming and gracious. Sonya in the tasting room is a true gem. This is a family owned and run winery. Their son is the winemaker. It's rare for my wife and I to sample a good number of wines anywhere and thoroughly enjoy everything. We had our favorites, of course, but all of the wines were very good. I realize taste is subjective, but if you are a fan of Spanish wines, or would like to try some truly amazing wine of that style, don't miss this one. They also produce a sparkling which is very, very good. In addition to joining their wine club, we joined their separate bubbles club for the sparkling. Great wine is only part of the story, as for us it was also the people that made this such a great place. Sonya was extremely knowledgeable about all of the wines, as well as a delightful person. We enjoyed a chance to talk with Deborah and Sam, and Sam graciously thanked us for joining their wine club. A great family with great staff producing delicious wines in a stunning setting. To say we look forward to returning, and upcoming wine shipments would be an extreme understatement. I highly recommend this be on anyone's "must go" list when visiting wineries in the area.

Keilys C.

Yelp
What a lovely place!! The wines are delicious, the view from the location is very relaxing, and the staff is amazing! We will definitely come back soon.

Molly R.

Yelp
Beautiful winery outside of Walla Walla! I enjoyed the Sangria a lot, and the people in my group liked the Summer Flight best. However, the service was verrrry slow, which felt a little frustrating bc we were given a time limit on our table (for Covid, so not upset about the time limit itself, just about the service that didn't meet the demands of their time expectations). Side note: The wood fired pizza food truck that came to the winery was

Sophie S.

Yelp
What a beautiful experience. Frank started a wood fire for us and we got to stay toasty while doing an outdoor tasting in the most beautiful setting. Cows and hawks (and owls once the sun set) surrounded us as well as beautiful sprawling views of the fields, vines, and foothills. The wines are delicious and Frank was great at helping us find the wines that were best suited for our tastes. Will definitely be back!

Tatum J.

Yelp
So delicious! Had a great flight with amazing views and service. The flight was so good that we got a full size glass.

Hayley K.

Yelp
This place is SO GOOD! Beautiful scenery, exquisite wine, and vivacious staff. Frank made this experience magical for us - we love him. Yasssss feliciana

Yelp
This was the last stop of the weekend on our wine tasting road trip of Eastern Washington. Oddly enough, we actually crossed the state line and entered into Oregon to get to Castillo de Feliciana. To be honest though, when we pulled into the parking lot of the vineyard, it felt more like we were in Spain. The tasting room was warm and lively. Our server was really friendly and had good stories to tell about each of the wines as far as the taste and origin of the names on the label. All of the wines that we tasted were quite good. From the start though, we knew exactly which wine we would be purchasing. They had a table wine called 'Cohones' that could only be purchased as a set of two (haha) for $30, so we got that. We both liked the artwork on all of the bottle labels. Of the many wineries we visited on the trip, most of them just had plain labels with the name of the winery and sparse color. These labels were fun and vibrant. We also appreciated that they had chocolates available to pair with some of the wines. Perhaps they were just leftovers from the previous day (which was Valentine's day), but we appreciated them all the same. We both really enjoyed our time at this winery, and we'd definitely come back.

Janine F.

Yelp
The perfect setting for an afternoon of wine tasting with a nice lawn and fire pit. I loved all of the whites and the rosé. I had a hard time deciding which bottles to get. Great service, great wine, and great environment. Highly recommend.

Kathy L.

Yelp
We stayed just down the road from the winery, it was so inviting we decided we wanted a tasting. We had read a couple of unfavorable reviews but felt we needed to decide for ourselves. Sonya was charming and informative, the wines were wonderful! We had a warm friendly experience. So happy we stopped!

Deb P.

Yelp
Beautiful winery. I love wine. But, I also love to sit and sip wine in beautiful surroundings. This winery hit the mark with beauty. The wine was nice, but none of the them really wowed me. My favorite of the day was the Tempranillo Reserve ($40). My friends loved the Tempranillo Rosebud ($27). We bought a few bottles of each. Lots of outside tables with pretty scenery. They allow you to bring your own picnic, which is lovely. We plan to visit again next time we are in Walla Walla.

MM Z.

Yelp
Arrived at 3pm last Saturday afternoon, a very hot day. The staff was clearly overwhelmed by the orders for Sangria, and didn't have the time to spend on wine tasting. We tasted the first 2 wines offered on the list, and then paid and left. Although the space is extensive, it appears to be catering it's Sangria to the Bachelorette party groups, and not really interested in promoting its wines.

Susan M.

Yelp
Great wine, beautiful scenery. The staff is lovely and generous! Well worth the trip!

Carmen L.

Yelp
Beautiful views and patio. Sangria was okay. Customer service was okay. Had friendly service at other wineries.

Bob R.

Yelp
This was our first stop on one day of wine tasting, and it set the bar high! The wines are good, the setting is beautiful, and the staff took their time to explain the wines and tell the story behind each. Exactly what a winery should be! We finished with sangria since it's the thing to do here, and my wife, who normally does not like sangria, absolutely loved it! It's that good. The quaint setting a few yards (literally!) into Oregon's rolling wheat fields make this a preferred location.

Kari N.

Yelp
The setting is beautiful! Nobody told us about this gem, we discovered while driving around. The staff were super friendly, the wines were fabulous, and the setting and style were different than any other wineries we had visited which was refreshing.

Aimeé R.

Yelp
Castillo de Feliciana is another taste room that is also available in Woodinville. We fell in love with their Miércoles a red blend that we always run to get because of its rich get gentle taste, enough that you can drink it as a table wine. This is one of those spots were you will learn about Spanish heritage, cool owner anecdotes and the passion that goes into making every bottle. Their Brillante is sparkling wine worth its price in gold. Try the Tempranillo Rosé during the summer heat. It is like drinking a fruit spritzer of the out most quality. If you don't like Rosé wines, the traditional Tempranillo is also a treat and very well received in the local wine circles. From what ai beard they have concert series and food trucks so check their schedule of events. On Labor Day they do a Salsa dancing contest. Salud!

Ryan D.

Yelp
This place is beautiful and just over the state line in Oregon. Fantastic setting, wonderful service, and delicious wines make for a highly recommended stop on your Walla Walla Valley winery tour! Do it!

Bear L.

Yelp
Great location, service, wines, and overall vibe. Architecture is quite equisite. I had wonderful time with friends here!

A B.

Yelp
We stumbled upon this beautiful hacienda & vineyard! A gorgeous location, it brought me back to my times in Spain! The Malbec and the Sangria were our favorites

Collette R.

Yelp
Stunning location and exceptional staff. Great wine and they treat you like family. The owners are very generous to the community and actively participate in a lot community events. When you step into their tasting room, there is a warmth that is most welcoming. If you can its definity worth the little drive to find this gem.

Patrick C.

Yelp
Had the most amazing afternoon tasting lovely wines at this beautiful spot! The Albariño (as well as the sparkling Albariño) were so refreshing and luscious. They are featuring the bubbly Albariño in a sparkling Sangria that my wife raved about. And then the reds! Loved the Grenache! The service we received from Sonya was outstanding as well. No wonder there were so many in attendance on this sparkling day. We shall return!

Emily L.

Yelp
This winery has the best views of the Blue Mountains. On a warm day I love to bring a book, some take-out, get a glass of sangria, and sit on the patio. The have yummy wines. They also host a ton of great events! If you're coming through Walla Walla I highly recommend you stop here!

Antoinette C.

Yelp
Amazing wine and venue! Service was also incredible! The cab and Malbec are really something special!

Ryan W.

Yelp
My partner and I tasted outside yesterday and this has been by far our favorite! Frank (our server) was extremely nice, attentive and knowledgeable. The views were incredible. We had a real fire pit as a source of warmth along with being surrounded by cows, hawks and owls. We planned on just staying for a tasting but many hours later, found ourselves watching one of the most spectacular sunsets while drinking incredible wines. Will definitely be back! Also, they were incredibly safe with covid precautions which made us feel safe the entire time!

Senor T.

Yelp
To start, Marina and Deborah were the best hosts we could had ask for. The wines and Sangria were the best in the region. We highly recommend this place for small or large parties.

Ashley G.

Yelp
I love the atmosphere of this place. They have speakers on the outside of the building that play flamenco music. You really feel like you are in Spain. The servers are friendly. My husband and I sat outside on the patio. The view is beautiful. The grounds are lovely. The wines are phenomenal. I bought a bottle of the champagne style sparkling wine, although they don't have it open for tasting. I'm sure it will taste good. We also bought a Tempranillo.

Julian H.

Yelp
I have not visited the vineyard, but tasted the first release at a wine store in the Seattle area recently. The Tempranillo was wonderful. The Pinot Grigio was not my favorite; it was too light for my taste and didn't seem to have much character. But taste in wine is subjective so I'm not docking Feliciana for that. The third offering, a Semillon, was good. The prices for all the wines were reasonable; for example, Tertulia sells a comparable Tempranillo for about 50% more than Feliciana. Full disclosure: The winemaker, Ryan Raber, is a friend of mine.

Jennifer L.

Yelp
Love the wines and the price? Furthermore, it is a family winery. It is clear that they are doing this because they enjoy it and they all enjoy working together. I like their rose, viognier, and Adentro blend.

Erin S.

Yelp
Wonderful tasting experience! Great wines & gorgeous outdoor ambiance! Can't wait to come back! Salude!

Marisol M.

Yelp
On our spontaneous adventure in February to go wine tasting in Walla Walla we stumbled upon this beautiful winery. Sonia was the best! Very welcoming and friendly. The wine was great. We can't wait to revisit when the sangria is back in season!

Amy W.

Yelp
The service and folks running the tasting are THE BEST. Such wonderful wines and they have a wide range that meet the taste buds of anyone. If Sonya is there serving she has a ton of knowledge about each bottle and the history of the winery. LOVED our experience. Highly recommend :)

Rosa S.

Yelp
Amazing all the way around what can I say. Beautiful and relaxing atmosphere wine no doubt amazing as well

Rich N.

Yelp
Cute tasting room on the south side near the state line. A cool outside patio for enjoying the nice weather. Friendly staff. Very nice Tempranillo wine! Stop by and give it a try!

Heather B.

Yelp
Excellent wine and staff. Made us feel special. We enjoyed the out door seating and view. Spanish music was a bonus.

Alexandria C.

Yelp
Amazing view! Great vibes. Cheerful and informative staff. Im coming again next week! The tasting service was absoulutly amazing! Thank you for a great evening sonya!

Rebecca O.

Yelp
Awesome wines - the Tempranillo is amazing! Staff is nice and helpful. The winemaker is knowledgeable, friendly, and not hard on the eyes ;)
