We had such a wonderful experience at CatBirdBoston! The store itself is beautiful, with a great selection and a warm, inviting atmosphere. What really made my visit special was Maura—she was absolutely the best . She was patient, kind, funny, and incredibly knowledgeable, guiding me through options without ever making me feel rushed. Her attention to detail and genuine care made the whole process seamless and enjoyable. If you’re shopping at CatBirdBoston, I highly recommend asking for Maura—she truly goes above and beyond. I’ll definitely be back!

RUN, don't walk to Catbird for all your jewelry and treat yourself needs, specially if you want unique pieces and don't want mass-market jewelry that look like everyone else's! I am almost tempted to gatekeep this store but I want them to be around on Newbury Street for a very long time :) I did not even know this has been on Newbury street, in a boutique downstairs, between Dartmouth and Exeter for a couple of years now because it is not very visible on the street - make sure you keep an eye out for it. They probably have the most variety of pieces of jewelry per square foot as far as jewelry stores go in the neighborhood, and in all price points - very good value. They also have a very curated selection of unique, small non-jewelry gifts. What makes this the most special store however are the customer associates, they are all happy, kind and helpful, most especially Elizabeth and Riley(there is another one whose name I can't remember right now, and Coco). There is a constant stream of customers and I have observed their interactions with their clients, helping guide clueless partners find the perfect piece for their loved ones :) , parents shopping with/for their children, friends finding pieces for close friends, or just buying a piece for themselves. In all these interactions, I have observed them being very helpful, patient and kind, even in the busy season of the holidays, Elizabeth especially. I have since started spreading the word about them because even if your friends do buy their pieces here, they have sooooo many different styles that there is a low chance you will all have the same things. They also do permanent bracelet zapping parties that look very interesting and would probably be a good birthday, holiday or bridal shower bonding activity! This store is beautiful! Cat Bird has/sells so many different options for jewelry. Holly, an associate here was super helpful and showed me all the options they have. The permanent bracelets and charm options are stunning! I will definitely be going back to find myself a forever piece.

I had a fantastic experience today with Izzy at Catbird Boston! I came in wanting to purchase a charm and small charm holder to accompany my engraved dollhouse locket I had purchased a few years ago. I showed Izzy a picture for reference and she immediately found everything I was looking for as well as provided some options/answered all my questions! I couldn’t be more pleased with the quality of my Catbird jewelry and my experience at this location. I recommend Catbird Boston to anyone wanting to grab a timeless, beautiful souvenir on their Boston trip, or those looking to invest in high quality gold staples.

Really cute store! I love that they have collabs with other artists and jewelers, and promote them as independent artists and not just "catbird" designs. Cool non-jewelry gift options too. Holly was amazing and so friendly and knowledgeable as i browsed!

I had a great experience here today getting a permanent bracelet! Everyone was super friendly and the girl who did my bracelet was sweet, patient, and gave great advice on length so that it looked great with the bracelet I already had. She was also extremely thorough with the welding itself. Great experience!

I had such a great experience with Maura at Catbird! She was super friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. She made it easy to find pieces that felt perfect for me, and her kindness really made the whole visit enjoyable.

This was my first time visiting a Catbird brick-and-mortar, and it's a little tucked away--located downstairs beneath FRAME. It was great getting to try on rings in person and seeing all the beautiful pieces up close. Meg was incredibly friendly and helpful--she answered all my sizing questions, pulled up my past purchases, and even showed me their charm case. Catbird offers free welding if you want to add a charm to your bracelet or necklace, which is a nice touch. When I mentioned I'd lost a ring, she generously offered me 20% off to replace it. And since Catbird rarely goes on sale (15% at most), I had to replace my Painter's Gold Stacking Ring! Plus, the sales tax in Mass (yes, jewelry is taxed here!) is already lower than CA's.

Fantastic second experience. First came December 2023. We came in around 11 on 12/26. We were treated very well by the three people working this morning. One name was Riley (spelling?), and all three were fantastic. They helped my son pick out two rings. They helped me pick a chain. And we bought lots of fun stuff. The staff made our experience wonderful. Thank you.

So happy that catbird is expanding across the US! I used to make a special trip whenever I was in NY, but now being able to visit in Boston, DC and LA is so cool! I stopped by this new location on Newbury - absolutely loved the look of the boutique, customer service was helpful as always. Jenna was happy to answer all of my questions and make suggestions! Can't wait to visit again and check out the other new stores in my travels!

LOVE this location. I got matching permanent bracelets 2 months ago with my friend and the process was so fun and easy! the staff are great and the selection of jewelry and cute little items is great.

Service is less than desirable, for a forever bracelet let's just say it's a one year bracelet and they do not stand by their merchandise

AVOID this location and business. Some of the worst customer service I've ever experienced. Why bother getting a permanent bracelet if it's going to fall off a few hours after?? And no help from management. What a scam. So disappointed.

I have nothing but good things to say about Catbird! I bought a forever bracelet and had a lovely experience. Maura was so helpful assisting my indecisive self to pick out a bracelet and the welder was fantastic explaining every step of the way! I love my forever bracelet and have had no problems with it unlike a similar one from another store. Definitely will be back soon!

Love this place! The jewelry is beautiful, elegant, and made with sustainable,ethical materials. The manager assisted us with our purchase. She was amazing, knowledgeable, and super friendly !! Will Definitely be back again!!!

If I could give 0 stars I would. I got a "permanent" bracelet that fell off within 6 hours. Not to mention when I went back to get it corrected the manager want on the floor and was the least accommodating person and so rude. She threatened to call the cops on my boyfriend because he "raised his voice at her", which he did no such thing, so he had to leave the store. I could go on and on about how horrible and disrespected my boyfriend and I were during our time there.

This is one of my favorite jewelry shops! I own many pieces from them, in both silver and gold, and never take them off. Great service and value, I'll definitely be adding more to my collection! :)
