Catch Of The Day's paint job is more exciting than the food - Review - Miami - The Infatuation

"Quintessential America and quintessential Miami collide at this classic seafood spot thanks to its proximity to the airport hotels. You’ve got Le Jeune residents dancing salsa circles around cruise tourists, and heartland Kansans seeing a whole fried snapper for the first time. That snapper isn’t half bad. It’s crispy and full of flaky meat. Though most of the food here is just fine, folks gravitate towards this place because the entire building is painted to look like a coral reef. There’s also live music and margaritas served in big bowls. The people-watching is better than the food, so come on the weekend to take advantage of that. photo credit: Cleveland Jennings / @eatthecanvasllc photo credit: Cleveland Jennings / @eatthecanvasllc video credit: Virginia Otazo video credit: Virginia Otazo" - Virginia Otazo

We were staying at a nearby hotel and the staff recommended Catch of the Day, it was a Saturday night so we knew it would be busy. Parking was valet which was nice for a small tip for the drivers, but be early as they have very limited parking. The food was good overall, cold beer and we were lucky enough to have live music mid way through our meal. I would recommend this place to anyone and especially families as we really enjoyed the experience overall.

Google
We spent quite a bit but unlimited crab legs was so worth it. We had a delayed and canceled flight and ended up with a day in Maimi and wanted to find some food good. This was a great choice. I got the seafood Paella and my partner got the unlimited crab legs. Both were fantastic and would recommend 10/10.

Google
Delicious food and a great experience overall! The $1 oysters were super fresh and full of flavor. We also enjoyed the turf platter and crispy calamari. The kids especially loved the chicken fingers and fries—perfectly cooked and kid-approved! The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was casual and welcoming. Great place for a family meal—we’ll definitely be back!

$1 Virginia Oysters were delicious me and my man ordered 3 dozen and than split the fried whole red snapper platter that came with rice and tostones everything cooked to perfection and the dirty martini was amazing

Google
They're clearly doing something right, attention to detail was great. Got to talk to the GM. He's was freind and really seemed to care about the overall experience his customers were having. I could see the music being adjusted to suit the crowd, really cool to see that kind of attention. The food was great, the lobster bisque is superb. Captains bloody mary was excellent. Oysters are oysters. Overall a top rate experience. Thank you!

One bite was all it took. To know I’ll never go back. Easily the worst shrimp I’ve ever had. I’ve have better in the mid west. This place is in Florida. The ocean is right there. How was it so bad. Fries were barely cooked as well. I was in the hotel next door. It crossed my mind to throw my dinner from the balcony back to the restaurant. Trashed it and walked somewhere else for dinner. It was Checkers. I’m not proud, but it was better. The staff were nice.

Food was amazing. Casual atmosphere with big portions. Staff was courteous and professional. Will definitely be back next time I visit Miami

Google
Staff at our hotel, Homewood Suites Blue Lagoon, recommended Catch of the Day for dinner—great recommendation. This popular, casual restaurant serves a variety of delicious fish and seafood at a reasonable price. The fried snapper was exceptionally good.

Yelp
Arrived in between lunch and dinner, surprised at number of patrons but not crowded. Quick friendly reception and service. Indoor and outdoor dining, by 4pm almost all exterior ( but shaded with a gentle breeze) we're taken. Plenty of table space inside. Extensive menu, amazing plates to share and individual plates as well with a good range of prices and house specials, including lunch and happy hour items on food and drinks. A shrimp basket with fries on appetizer list was amazing with a mango mojito.

Yelp
Catch of the Day is not just a restaurant; it's a sanctuary where my wife Frances and I find solace, joy, and unmatched culinary delight every single day. This place is very dear to our hearts, serving not just as a dining spot but as a cornerstone of our daily lives. The exceptional staff, the meticulous owner, and the personal touches they bring to the experience have made Catch of the Day an irreplaceable part of our routine. The staff at Catch of the Day is nothing short of phenomenal. From the moment you walk through the doors, you're greeted with warm smiles and an energy that instantly makes you feel at home. They know us by name, remember our favorite dishes, and always make sure that our dining experience is nothing short of perfect. This level of personal care and attention is a rare find in today's bustling world, and it's something that elevates Catch of the Day from a restaurant to a cherished gathering place. The owner of Catch of the Day deserves special mention. His dedication to running a restaurant that feels like an extension of his home is evident in every detail, from the impeccably curated menu to the thoughtful, courteous way he interacts with every guest. It's clear he doesn't just run a business; he nurtures a community. Whether it's keeping my forgotten laptop safe or securing my misplaced credit card, the owner's thoughtfulness and integrity shine brightly, mirroring the ethos of the entire establishment. But what keeps us coming back to Catch of the Day, day after day, isn't just the warm service or the attentive owner; it's the unwavering quality of the food. Each dish is a testament to the beauty of simplicity, the freshness of the ingredients, and the skill of the chefs. The menu, inspired by the day's catch, promises an adventure for the taste buds, offering flavors both comforting and exhilarating. Catch of the Day is our haven, regardless of the day we're having. On good days, it amplifies our joy; on bad days, it offers comfort and a place to reset. The restaurant has become more than just a place to eat; it's a significant part of our life story, a place where memories are made and the day's worries wash away with the first bite of their exquisite dishes. For anyone looking for a dining experience that feels like coming home, where the food is always exceptional, and the people always remember your name, Catch of the Day is the place to be. It's not just our daily choice; it's our daily joy. Here's to many more lunches at our favorite spot, where every visit is special, and every meal is a celebration.

Yelp
What a great little place this is. We ran into this place on accident and luckily for us. We arrived during happy hour and pretty much tried everything on the happy hour menu and it was awesome. If you are a local or visiting, I highly recommend this place as the service was great. The ambience was great and the food was great and the happy hour was even better!

Yelp
My wife and I have come here for years. We love coming here because we don't know how they find their staff but they're phenomenal. Rafael, Frank, Andres, Henry, Giselle, and basically their whole staff is amazing! The food is fabulous. We will keep coming back because at this point they treat us like family and they make us feel like family. If you're from out of town or haven't been here in a long time. Come back and give it a try. You won't be disappointed. At least we're not and keep coming back.

Yelp
We visited this place since it was just across the street from where we were staying. This restaurant has some interesting decor and gives the vibe of a truly daily catch feeling. We ordered fresh oysters, jambalaya and stone crab claws. The oysters were fresh and didn't have the smell we sometimes find in other places. The jambalaya was tasty too. We've never had stone crab before so we decided to give it a try and it was tasty, different from Dungeness crab. The claws were extremely hard to crack but thankfully they came partially cracked already so it saved us a lot of work. Overall I think this is a nice place and one that I likely will revisit when I'm in Miami again.

Yelp
This spot was recommended by hotel concierge for their good food and good happy hour selections. Unfortunately we went for dinner beyond the happy hour cutoff of 7pm. The happy hour menu did look appetizing. Be mindful the menu is well varied but with many advertisement interruptions. We ordered the large frozen Mango Margarita and Strawberry Mojito. The Margarita is huge so be prepared, definitely shareable. For entrees we ordered the Fried Snapper sandwich which has tail, fin, and all based on description. Not sure why they can't just filet this fish portion but was told that not an option but they do have a Mahi Mahi fillet option that can be grilled or fried. Just not the same in my opinion. Also ordered the 1 lobster tail entree scampi style with yellow rice and black beans. The lobster was overcooked rubbery. The scampi flavors would have been good had not been overcooked. Our waiter was nice but could have done a better job providing alternatives to what was really wanted based on menu availability. There is ample seating indoor and outdoor with live music on the patio.

Yelp
Monday's are $1 oyster and happy hour is from 3- 7. Enjoyed two dozen oysters and great margaritas. Seafood was very fresh. Also had the ceviche tapas and calamari. We had outdoor seating which was very nicely ventilated considering it's Miami in the summer !!!! Can't wait to be back
google avatar

Charles H.

Yelp
Don't order the calamari!! You order the calamari app. They give you a 1/4 of calamari at the bottom it's gill with fries. Than they charge an extra $3 for chili sauce

Yelp
This seafood restaurant near the airport is excellent! Happy hour runs from 3 pm to 7 pm, offering great deals. The fish tacos and tilapia are absolutely delicious and expertly prepared. The service is friendly and efficient. Highly recommended!

Yelp
I had the lobster bisque, which tasted good, but it "broke" during the heating process so had a weird consistency. I also had the shrimp tapas, which was tasty with grilled shrimp and guacamole on some sort of fried dough. I had some grilled fish with a lobster sauce and rice and veggies. The veggies were overcooked. Definitely no thought put into the presentation. Just slapped it all on a plate. I sat at the bar and the bartender was friendly and attentive. The bar had several televisions playing various games. In the tent covered patio they had live music with someone playing an electric violin. Kind of haunting but cool. I'm taking off a star for the fact that they had pages of advertising in their friggin menu! So annoying and uncool. I just want to see what food they have not a full page ad for insurance or an injury lawyer. So ridiculous.

Yelp
Stopped In For a cup of soup and drink after landing in Miami. I had a very delicious Sangria but the fruit in the drink looked canned. Outside rim was fresh fruit. The soup was A+, wish I had ordered a bowl but it was already 2:00 and unsure what I'm going for dinner. Would come back or recommend to others. Took awhile for waiter to bring tab though.

Yelp
This restaurant is our to go too place! It is delicious, staff is always pretty friendly, and drinks are great! They have happy hour every day so when we make it during that time we love getting their margaritas! They are always strong! I've also gone on some days where they have live music. There's always people sitting outside and inside, I don't think I've ever seen this place empty. Food wise, what have we not tried?! My mom likes getting the lobster tails from there, really delicious. Their shrimp platter is always amazing! It had three different types of shrimps. Their shrimp fettuccine is my dad's favorite! Their mahi mahi sandwich is really good. The mahi and shrimp plate is delicious! I'm not a fan of cooked spinach, but the bed of spinach this plate has is soooo good!! I eat it with no problem! Haha. The ribs and crispy shrimps was pretty good too. Their grilled salmon is made really delicious too! Like I said, we've tried a lot of their menu! Lol can't go wrong with coming here and having a great time!!! *sadly I don't have pictures of all the great foods we've tried here but once I do I will post them! I do have the margaritas though! They are bigger in person!*

Yelp
Hanging in Miami and this place had a catchy name 'Catch of the Day' so we ventured out. Although I asked about the fried shrimp before I ordered them I didn't expect them to look like I am eating fried Shrimp from the fast food Chinese spot. I was disappointed. I was also disappointed with the chicken . I think I made bad choices with the food because I saw the table next to me had some type of seafood rice and other dishes that looked delicious. The drinks made up for my awful food selections. The drinks were nicely made and the presentation was awesome. The restaurant was very crowded and we arrived around 3pm. The restaurant was cleaned and we were seated right away. This is not a bad spot if you stay away from their fried shrimp.

Yelp
Stayed in Miami one day early before our Cruise and ate Dinner at "Catch of the Day" - They are really busy, but there was a table available inside (they also have a Huge Covered Outdoor Patio) Mayrobys is our Server and explained their Beer Menu to us - Wife ordered a Miller Lite with a glass of ice (she loves that) and I went with a Blue Moon Draft. Looked over the Menu and my Wife and I decided to split their "Catch's Famous Fish & Chips"; Crispy Beer Battered Fish Filets served with French Fries or Cole Slaw, went with Fries. I also ordered a bowl of their 'Lobster Bisque' made fresh daily. Our Beers came out quick and they are served Cold - we toasted and enjoyed the Brews. Soon my Lobster Bisque arrived and this bowl is pretty big - and it taste Great. Really Nice Flavor with lots of bits of Lobster in every bite - and it's Thick (like it's suppose to be - for me anyway). I Loved this Soup. Soon our Fish & Chips arrived and there are Four Long-Fat-Filets Breaded Golden Brown before us - with their version of Tartar Sauce - and those Fries are Golden Brown and very tasty. The Fish Filets have the Perfect Crunch to them and are Fresh & Flaky - this is would make any Restaurant Famous - that's some Good Stuff. Mayrobys checked on us and explained a lot about Catch of the Day and earned the "Dollar-Bow-Tie" Award. Would love to try some of the other Foods they have here, it all looks Delicious, but will have to wait until next time we're in Miami.

Yelp
Giving this a 5 to offset the haters. This is a decent spot. The salmon was moist and rice yummy Service was on point too. Really chill vibes, what you want from Miami

Yelp
Catch of the Day has stood the test of time, it's been in the same spot for years open for lunch and dinner and always has a crowd. There's indoor and outdoor seating, and Friday nights there's always a band or DJ getting the party going. We were there recently for a birthday dinner and sat inside, it's hot these days lol. We had about 6 in our party and shared a large bucket of peel and eat shrimp, which were super yummy and decent size shrimp. Our group enjoyed a variety of dishes. A couple of people had the shrimp fettuccine which was good (could have had a few more shrimp, I'd recommend asking if they can add extra for a fee). Someone else had the clam chowder which was tasty. Someone had the whole fried snapper (aka pargo frito) and I wish I'd taken a photo; it was huge, meat was tender and delicious! They were full and I didn't mind helping finish off a few bites. I had the lobster bisque and not a lot of lobster pieces but the flavor was divine. The knock, we had a vegetarian in the group and there really weren't many options. There's a veggie fettuccine but none of the veggies are fresh (everything is frozen), including the sides from French fries to tostones, to yuca fries all frozen. They do have quite a few desserts to choose from, the birthday boy got a key lime pie, which was delivered by a large group of servers. We also had a tres leche that the server insisted was the best option and it really was excellent. All in all, it was a fun and delicious experience and the whole family had a good time. I've gone many times before and I'll be there many times more with more updates to be shared. Bon appetit

Yelp
Stopped by for a quick meal before our flight home. Very close to the airport which is great. The Caribbean fish soup had lots of chunks of fish and hit the spot with its warm broth. The oysters were all very fresh and the mojitos were made to order. El Capitan was a great dish because it had a little of everything, oysters, crab legs, and peel and eat shrimp. Food came out very quickly. My only complaint is that it's a little pricey, but it's Miami, so expected. Also, there is a gratuity is included, just a heads up.

Yelp
Great food - fish was fresh and grilled perfectly. Server was very attentive but not intrusive. Good music and a nice, relaxing experience. Definitely recommend.

Yelp
The seafood boil was amazing!!! So flavorful. The restaurant is very nice with indoor and outdoor seating options. Staff is friendly!

Yelp
Well, we must've timed this perfectly on a Saturday early afternoon. I believe Alejandro was our server and he was attentive but not hovering. We started with Mojitos and probably should have capped at one. It was a good drink and hit the spot. We were 7 people and everyone enjoyed it all. I shared a paella and it was spot on. Great flavor and lots of seafood. The place was casual as it's a sports bar type place. We sat indoors but the outdoor seating looked quite comfortable. I am not one to go venture out of my zip code to eat but this is a place I would certainly eat again.

Yelp
Visited this establishment on March 25, 2023 at around 6:15ish. When we arrived we had to wait about 40mins for a table. The place was packed, this seems to be a very popular place for the locals and people staying in the nearby hotels. The atmosphere was very lively, a little after 7pm a live band came out to perform. This was a nice touch to the evening. We sat outside and I liked that there were fans spraying light mist. This allowed the outdoor space remain cool. My salmon was great. My daughter had the fish and chips but she didn't enjoy them. My sister had the fried snapper, the display was amazing but it was try in the inside. I ordered a white sangria but it tasted more like a mimosa to me. It was overpowered with a taste of orange juice. I will definitely visit again though to try more things on the menu.

Yelp
If you want to enjoy some good food in a cool, casual, relaxing environment this might work for you. Happy hour had reasonably priced beers and cocktails. The food took a bit of time to arrive so we sipped on our beers and enjoyed some warm dinner rolls. We started off with three clams and two mussels in a delicious broth served with some hot bread. We enjoyed what we had but it wasn't much for $17.99. I would avoid ordering the clams or mussels, as the price is way too much for what you get. We had grilled corvina and shrimp linguine. Corvina was a bit on the dry side, but still tasty. The linguine was fantastic. Next time we will have to try the oysters.

Yelp
I've driven past this place plenty of times and never thought to stop. After hearing of someone else's experience at this restaurant, I decided to give it a try. I went around six o'clock and had to wait about thirty minutes for a table. This place gets popular as the night goes on. I was a party of three and we decided to sit outside. The patio is covered, with fans that blow out mist. The weather was nice so it wasn't hot. Our waiter Raphael, was nice and provided some recommendations. He never rushed us and stopped to ask if everything were going good. I had the calamari as an appetizer and the snapper as an entree. I was so excited about the snapper but was very disappointed. The snapper was so dry, which it had some type of sauce or seasoning used when cooked. Everything else was good, the rice and plantains. I would love to visit this place again because it was a nice little vibe once the live band came.

Yelp
We are staying a hotel near the airport and saw this restaurant. It is excellent! First great service Yisel was prompted great smile and helpful. Thank you! The menu is very extensive with a great emphasis on seafood, but there are non-seafood options. Regarding drinks I the regular mojito - it is made the authentic way (fresh mint and lime - yes)! We ordered calamari, oysters Rockefeller, peel and eat shrimp, crab legs and fish and chips. Everything was hot and flavorful - I had a side salad and Yisel brought the house balsamic vineagrette - a must have! The place is colorful and warm with inside/outside seating. We will definitely be back and highly recommend.

Yelp
Always come here when I come to Miami. The mahi sandwich is amazing and fresh! Also the drinks never let me down. The atmosphere is live and I highly recommend.

Yelp
Got off the plane in Miami in the evening heading to the hotel, so stopped for a light meal at this restaurant. It wasn't pleasant! Paid a fellow to move one of the dozen traffic cones from the empty parking spots and park our truck. A blind person could have parked in this lot... Maybe parking is a problem sometimes... Thought we'd choose to sit on the porch vs. indoors. Lovely Florida evening. Didn't know the violin player would drown out any conversation with each other or the wait server (except between tunes). He did play nicely... Maybe it had to be louder than the airplanes taking off overhead? Ordered drinks but, silly us, didn't order water specifically. Thought it would come out with the bread rolls the server offered to bring us. Bread never came, water never offered... we did get a drink each. Not offered a refill on them... Instead of a starter salad, I thought to try their Caribbean Fish Soup. It also never came to the table. Maybe it's good.. who knows? Might have been good with some rolls. The two fish sandwiches were ok. Big buns and cooked fish. The moist mahi must have dripped off any blackening seasonings so I salted it well for flavor.... I think there was a bit of grilled onion? A piece of tomato and leaf of lettuce. A bit of mayo in a cup on the side and wedge of lemon... That moistened the bun. Some fries and BAM $16... It's big city eating. The order of oysters Rockefeller made my daughter nauseous after tasting the first one of 6. Sent it back. She lost her appetite so only had her diet cola for dinner. It made her mom and I feel pretty cruddy... the evening was done. The check came.. had to go to the cashier counter to have the soup charge taken off before paying... well, it never came... the server was obviously preoccupied. Maybe the loud music and drunk fellows next to us spilling drinks of the floor kept him from checking on us... Finally, after such a brilliant experience, they added a MANDATORY 15% SERVICE FEE to the bill - gonna pay them a tip regardless of the level of service. We certainly did not experience their "Mom and Pop feel - and - Proud to offer Exceptional Service" website ad..

Yelp
I had a good experience in this restaurant in general . The place is cozy and the service is good. The fish sandwich was good, very generic. My mahi mahi was ok but definitely no fresh and a little over cooked. The ceviche was plenty and very tasty. The best of the meal was the yuca frita, they were delicious. Avoid the mango mojito , the regular was better . I think it is a good place for a casual simple meal to have a salad , a sandwich....

Yelp
We had lobster tails and they were tasty and the desserts were just great. This place went beyond our expectations. We would come back again next time when we're in town for visit.

Yelp
My wife and I have been to COTD dozens of times over the years. On June 5, 2024 we had dinner and we ordered octopus with Chimichurri sauce. The tentacles were very tough and rubbery as well and the sauce was very highly seasoned with pepper. I am a Cajun and I can take more pepper than most people that live in Miami, but this was too hot. In all of the octopus recipes that I have ever seen, hot pepper is not one of the ingredients. In Spain paprika is used but not pepper. We ate at the bar and bartender Frank's service was excellent as always. We told him about the octopus and he offered to replace it but we decided to continue eating instead of ordering the same dish again. We returned on the 6th and ordered another dish. We did tell the manager about the octopus problem of the day before. I would also suggest that the restaurant offer some other zero alcohol beers. O'Douls has been around for many years but although it is an AH beer it is not one of the market leaders and is quite rare to find it in restaurants. In fact today I found only six bottles of it available at a Walmart where one can find hundreds of bottles of many other beers.

Charles S.

Yelp
The server was really good. I attended it to our every need. The food was tasty and will season the issue. I have is that they charged you for parking and added a tip on the bill. I'm usually a pretty good tipper when you add your own tip that's all you get in this case it was 15% normally I tipped 20 or better. I don't know if that's for the restaurant or that's the way these things are done in Florida.

Chad G.

Yelp
Great food and speedy service. Neat little place with live entertainment. It was close to our hotel so it worked out great.

Eliza F.

Yelp
Low key with a local vibe. Delicious oysters and good happy hour options. Service is fast and friendly.

Yelp
Good atmosphere good food good service. Wait staff has definitely been there for a while and the meal went seamlessly! Great patio place!!! Better get there early...it was filling up as I was on the way out

Yelp
Got 'stuck' in Miami but wasn't truly upset. Got a hotel close to the airport and walked here. Open late and had a great seafood/Latin menu. Food was outstanding and service was great too. Also, had the blackened hamachi. Wow!! So fresh. Kid for the chicken fingers. He was happy. Band was fun!!! Could hear them down the street.

Yelp
This place is a land mark to Miami. The food is AMAZING. The happy hour is GREAT. The service is INCREDIBLE. You must try

Stephen D.

Yelp
We stopped by Catch of the Day recently for happy hour. We sat outside to enjoy the Miami warm weather. We were warmly greeted by our server "Jean." He was super friendly, smiley, and helpful. Happy hour is good value with well priced drinks and bites. We had a couple of margaritas which were good. Coincidentally we were there on a Wednesday which is 50% off all bottles of wine. Great value! If staying near the airport (or not) I would recommend this restaurant. Also as an endorsement, it seemed to be quite popular with locals.

Olivia R.

Yelp
Cute place next to the airport. The oysters were fresh and delicious. And the food was delicious and it came out hot. Pictured is the lobster tail and grilled mahi & shrimp special. I really liked how down to earth the place felt. It felt very original.

Yelp
Awesome place! We are from AK and love good seafood. We stopped in and the food was outstanding! Great plating, flavors are remarkable! Service was very good. The prices were very reasonable considering the quality and quantity of food!

Yelp
A nice little gem! Food was delicious, seems as though it gets really packed. The waiter was nice and he explained the menu. Everything we ate was fresh. My drink was so tasty and tasted like a fresh homemade smoothie with real fruit. My shrimp scampi and cheese dish was delicious and the crab dip was also great. Hubby had the skirt steak and just like most places a bit tough and flavorless but he had wings and loved them! No stars taken off because we have yet to find a place that makes great Churrasco. Just not an ideal cut of steak. Due to covid we ate outside and they had fans and it was very comfortable. We came at a good time because ppl were rolling up with luggages ( I'm figuring this is the stop before of after a flight! The parking lot is small and tight and you just pray someone doesn't scrape your car. Also On a busy intersection. All in all great restaurant, will definitely be back

Yelp
Omg! Saturday night live entertainment was amazing! Little restaurant with outdoor seating! Weather was perfect ! The band was perfect Ordered the whole snapper - delicious... perfectly seasoned with rice and veggies! Their appetizer-pork fried something was delicious! Since they had run out of their mahi mahi croquettes but was almost glad !! Excellent drinks !!! Kudos to the bartenders

Yelp
Free parking available at the hotel next store so u don't have to valet the car. We went on a Saturday evening and they had live music on the outside deck so we decided to dine indoors because it was very loud. It was extremely busy and loud inside as well as the doors were open. The staff is friendly, they have a very large menu mostly seafood as it is a seafood restaurant. The Snapper had a bad scent so it was sent back but the manager was really nice and appreciated the feedback. They have many specials throughout the week. I believe they can improve on their limited non seafood menu as the grilled chicken was a small portion and very bland , I doctored it up with hot sauce. Maybe trying it on a week night would be better.

Yelp
In town for Art Basel and wanted some good local eats! Great choice! The mojitos and the seafood paella were great. The paella's seafood was fresh, the taste was amazing and I couldn't even finish it so I took some to go. My group also had the snapper and the lobster--both which they loved. Will come back!

Yelp
A very convenient short walk from our hotel, Fairfield Inn. We were pleasantly surprised how fun and lively this quaint little seafood restaurant was. The food was delicious and the service was great. We went on a Thursday evening and a live violin musician played after we enjoyed our dinner. He was an excellent violin musician and very entertaining. We so enjoyed our evening there.

Yelp
Ok food and service was good but not 100% certain that the food there is fresh. We were in from out of town and got the all you can eat snow crabs. I asked if it was fresh catch and was told yes: however, we noticed that the knuckles of the crab was icy cold. Definitely not a good sign that these are fresh. Likely frozen. But the drinks were good and it had a good vibe of locals.

Yelp
The fish was excellent, seemed very fresh. One warning however: a 15% gratuity was included on the check, we were a party of 2. Perhaps it was mentioned in the small print on the menu but we didn't notice. Perhaps their clientele is largely from abroad and not accustomed to tipping but I would have appreciated being informed. We did leave a 20% tip.

Yelp
Great prices and the food is super flavor full. The shrimp trio was the perfect size meal and the plátanos were delicious. This place has a real chill vibe and great for a casual meal

Yelp
I Wish I could have wrote a decent review, but I couldn't didn't even receive any service. My girlfriend and I went to have dinner here which we are an interracial(Black/White) couple. We got sat outside an about 20 min in noticed we had been passed closely by 6-7 servers. Around 25 minutes in 2 tables were sat not to far from us and within minutes had food and drinks. Instead of serving us in those 20 minutes they were picking up plates from people that have already been serviced. Not once were we talked to after we sat or asked if we had questions about the menu. IT'S 2023 THIS TYPE OF PREJUDICE/BORDERLINE RACISM NEEDS TO STOP!

Yelp
Food was decent, food quality wasn't what to expect at a seafood place in Miami, service was decent but too pricey for the quality. Nice outdoor seating area. Parking lot is super tight and there is mandatory valet but it's only $3 plus tip and the valet was very pleasant.
